i really hope my mother was wrong about how rigid the standards for resumes are. i have spent three hours trying to find the middle ground between

"something a sane human person would use to efficiently convey relevant information to another sane human person" (what i was aiming for)

and

"document that is more part of a ritualised game of bad-faith trickery and antiquated social mores than it is anything else" (what the courts of the fey, the devils of hell, and, allegedly, the modern employer, are looking for)

and i am NOT enjoying the idea that these stupid little games of toeing an invisible line are what i can expect to suffuse all official communication in the field of tech support. i'm to autistic for this bullshit. they can either give me an official rulebook that i can follow or learn to live with my perfectly reasonable indented bullet points. >:(
