Paz/din anon here: i love the angry teen Mando vibe. Qs: who started it? who escalated it? who ended it? was it after a fistfight?(lol obviously). din seems like he wouldn't trust many people. has he only ever been with Paz and Annika? was it always the 3 of them, or was it ever just Paz/din or Annika/din? did anyone ever catch feelings for din? does jealousy play into Paz's feelings re: boba? DOES BOBA KNOW DIN SLEPT WITH PAZ? I guess if he didn't, the plasma cannon gave it away, lul. K thx ilu

HOWDY okay i feel like i'm on a game show, let's do this:

1. paz probably started it.

2. din definitely escalated. doesn't have any back down in him, tbh.

3. paz also... probably ended it, honestly, around the time din became his covert's hunter. din makes some allusions in ast to the fight he and paz had that decided who'd get to be hunter -- it was very ugly and also very emotionally charged, and was the first -- or biggest, at least -- crack in the rift between them.

4. everyone in din's "cohort" -- his age group of foundlings, including din, paz, annika and a few others -- probably did their fair share of experimenting with each other, honestly, being as cloistered as they were, but paz and annika were definitely din's most frequent partners. (frequent being relative, of course.) and yes, sometimes it was din/paz, paz/annika, annika/din, and sometimes it was all three of them!

5. everyone had feelings all of the time, and no real way to process or understand them, lol. there was a lot of love and affection and camaraderie, but a lot of competitiveness and bitterness too. ast 'verse, they were all raised to be pretty much constantly jockeying with each other for status in the covert, which only got more intense as they got older.

5. din and paz were both bitterly jealous of each other as children and young warriors -- adults too, though more paz than din -- but it was not really jealousy over romantic or sexual partners? moreso that din was jealous of what paz had -- easy acceptance, a clan name, etc -- and paz was jealous of din's increasing skill and stubborn refusal to, like, do what was expected of him.

6. yes, absolutely, some of those unresolved feelings play into the way paz reacts to boba, lmao. paz is outraged that someone else would presume to know what din wants or needs (ignoring, of course, that paz's knowledge of what din wants and needs is like twenty years out of date. paz has big ol' blinders on)

7. boba doesn't know-know, but he has more pieces of the puzzle now. honestly paz better hope that boba never puts all of the pieces together, because boba has a phenomenally low opinion of how din has been treated in the past, and knows several people who would help him hide a body if said body had dropped on din's behalf noora, kasyyk, cobb vanth, fennec
