Started swatching for a crochet sweater and doing the math to let my gauge match one of the preexisting sizes and (A) there are three gauges for this pattern and I cannot meet any of them aldkjdjfkffjrj and (B) the math for the sizing with the pre-existing gauge doesn't make sense to me 🙃

#dryad speaks #dryad dabbles #i almost never meet gauge which is why i didn't used to test my gauges but uh that's not always a good strategy #so now MATH and PROPORTIONS can give me GREAT ANSWERS #but not when the proportions for the sizes don't follow the math in the original pattern >.>;;#sooooo I might just be winging it #i always gotta make my crafts more complicated than necessary lmao
