I want to get this off my chest... about a lot of things... also some trigger warnings about some ed stuff and depression related stuff and transphobia and probably some other messed up crap

1. Within the past year I’ve realized I’m trans... and currently I live in a pretty conservative area, so I just mainly wear a binder and try to go unnoticed. However, as liberal as my family is they draw the line at being trans, I even remember the time during my freshman year, I was in a class with trans guy and though he was so cool, when I brought him up, and I can’t remember if I told my mom about the teacher for that class, who was extremely transphobic, but she said right to my face she doesn’t ever want me to be trans... it didn’t sound like something you’d say meaning you don’t want someone to suffer through that. And that’s not even all of it, before I moved to where I am now, my mom and grandma took my shopping we stopped at a cafè for some coffee and when we sat down almost immediately they started going off about how trans people can never be happy and they’re just mutilating their bodies, I felt sick to my stomach

2 . More on the shitty family life I have. For much of my life my family has gaslit and just been overall been just shitty to me. When it comes to my dad, who refuses to ever apologize for a single thing he’s done to me, even when I broke my arm... which it took him over 24 hours and constant pestering from me for him to take me to the ER where they had to do x-rays and confirmed that I literally BROKE MY ARM! I’m pretty certain he didn’t even apologize for not listening to me the whole time. Amongst some other things my dad has done, that I don’t particularly remember, but if me, my brother, my stepmom, stepsister, and dad went out together, occasionally he wouldn’t feed my brother and I If our mom didn’t give us enough money... recently I decided to have next to no contact with my dad, the only condition he has to meet if he wants me to talk to him again is pretty easy, give an honest fucking apology. But because of this he had my 80 y/o grandma with cancer to be a middle man, but seriously you shouldn’t be stressing out a woman in her position, you just don’t. But it doesn’t stop there! He decides that he should completely victimize himself and make me the bad guy whose done everything wrong imaginable (over exaggeration obviously) but just if he kept it between him and I fine, but I draw the line at getting my grandma involved, especially considering her health. Then I general my whole family doesn’t want to believe a single thing that comes out of my mouth, in the past I’ve said pretty damn open about liking girls and never having a crush on girls, yet still without fail, my mom, whose heard the most of it, still believes I’m gonna settle down with a man in a few years and have some kids... the mere idea of being pregnant makes me prefer death. For a short period I was trying to over do femininity and my whole family refused to acknowledge is uncomfortable I was.

3. I’m pretty certain for a large portion of my life I’ve probably been suffering through an eating disorder, I was able to push through when I lived with my mom, cause I knew she’d be mad, so for the last 6-7 years I’ve been forcing myself to eat, I have next to no motivation to eat full meals anymore, especially when things get out of hand, I feel guilty for eating, like I need to be punished... I just always feel like shit, like I don’t deserve any of what I get...

4. More on my mental health bullshit, when my potential ed really started up was about a year into taking ADHD meds, which if you don’t know suppresses your appetite and makes it increasingly hard to sleep. Anyways while I was on those meds, I could only sleep about 2-4 hours a night, gave me a lot of migraines and now have damaged vision, and that lack of sleep really fucked my mental health, which again my whole family ignored... that lack of sleep induced a pretty average case of depression, however there was something else, thanks to this lack of sleep... I kept having these dilusional moments where I became momentarily convinced that my body is just a very slowly rotting corpse that my soul is just somehow possessing...

I’ve been trying to get the chance to see therapist, and I’m trying to get to a point where I can get away for all this toxic stuff in my life...

I talked to my distance friend again for a long time today. I really enjoyed the conversation. Then my dad called; he’s coming over Monday to see me when school starts.

I’m a little sad that I’m not being productive. The meds are working but maybe I need a higher dose? I also am getting really distracted by my friend.

My boyfriend was having a pretty rough time today. His bed frame he ordered like a month ago still hasn’t come and he had to call out of work to wait for it to get delivered (surprise surprise). Work is stressing him out a bit. We’re not talking as much, but that’s mainly because I don’t constantly need him on the phone all the time for mental stability.

I’ve been doing my runny thing way too much. I think I need to stop doing it for a few days so I stop getting distracted. The dissociation has been pretty bad recently and schools starting.

I don’t know how well I’ll do on the MCAT. I know I’m giving myself a vacation, but I feel like it needs to be over. At the same time I feel like I’m wasting time.

My friend wanted to voice chat on discord tonight but I was feeling too tired and a little socially exhausted. He was really understanding though! And look at me, setting boundaries with people. I’m not sure how I’m gonna spend the rest of my night. I was playing kingdom hearts two for a while but I don’t want to stay up too late. Now is probably a good stopping point if I’m being completely honest.

Also I’m kind of sad about my monitor. There’s two vertical lines on the left side: a green and red one. I can’t seem to figure out why they’re there. I don’t think there’s a way for me to fix it either. I guess I just have bad luck with technology.

Hey, maybe I should start using this blog to also help me maintain something else daily. Like a drawing? Or a picture of my cat? I don’t know. I don’t want to give any clean indications about who’s writing these journal posts for privacy sake. I’ll think about it.

I’m actually feeling pretty naturally tired. I would be better off sleeping before it goes away. Maybe I can not take my sleeping pills today? I know if I push past a certain time I’ll struggle to fall asleep. At the same time, the meds make me sleep for longer.

I’ve read some things from other people that their ADHD meds can also make them tired so maybe the vyvanse is regulating my circadian rythym or something.

Oh also! I opened up to my friend. Let’s call him “K”. I told K that I struggled with depression and adhd and it was a good bonding moment. I’m being really open and honest with them and it makes me happy. Maybe that’ll transfer to other friendships. They’re a really pure and innocent boi.

Churchill Car Insurance Problem?

Had accident which was my fault in Nov 08, hit a van in rear that stopped suddenly going through a roundabout (less than 5mph) and his trailer hitch ball went into my radiator and damaged the hood, grill and radiator. Car was 1996 Honda in very reasonable condition, MOT'd and all in good service despite its 125,000 mileage, new tyres, exhaust, battery, and clean throughout. Had fully comprehensive insurance with 50 deductable, loaner car and legal support so paid to be protected. When car was collected from accident, collecting garage said at that time that due to the mileage my car would not be repaired. However it took 5 to 6 weeks for the insurance examiner to determine that my car was beyond repair, so I did without a car all that time. Despite repeated phone calls to them, they never called me back as their examiner was on holiday. Then when we finally agree that a price of 500 for my car in January 08 and that took some haggling, the cheque never and so I started chasing them down in early February. I am then informed that I did not disclose a speeding violation on my application and they would have to listen to the tapes of my applying to verify this. Again this took several weeks, and I again had to pursue them for an answer to which they then said I had applied on the internet so no record of a phone conversation. The internet application was misleading, asking for what I believed was 3 years worth of offenses. I've only ever had 2 speeding offenses in my entire life - both speed cameras, just over the limit. The first was at 6 a.m. and I passed a bus pulling over to stop and as I passed it got flashed. The second on the day I found my dad had days to live and I was rushing to catch a flight, and as in both instances was doing 42 mph in a 30 mph zone for a very short period. Nonetheless, I was speeding and paid my fines. I wrote to the insurance company and apologised for not telling them of the other speeding ticket from 4 years and 9 months earlier as I forgot about it. But I admitted it, and apologised in writing. Then then came back to me saying that there would be additional premium to pay before I would get paid for my car. Well, its October 08, and I finally got a letter from the insurers saying they are not paying me as I failed to pay the additional premium requested and they were not going to renew my policy. I have never been asked even after repeated letters to them how much the additional premium was, and what I should do. No replies. I have asked for my car back which they agreed to pay for, and now they state there is nothing they can do, and it is their final decision. I went to the financial ombudsman and unbelieveably DID NOT get a reply from them. I've even spoken to one of their survey staff who tells me that they are incredibly busy and it was probably put aside and not dealt with. I'm at a total loss as to where I stand and how to pursue this without spending more than the accident and car was worth. I've written to their data protection officer and obtained copies of all documentation pertaining to this, so by their records can verify all this information quite clearly. Finally, I maintained my cool with them at all times. Never once did I raise my voice or become unprofessional with them. My questions are: 1. Can I legally request my car back as it has never been paid for? 2. Were they taking money for policy on a car they knew that through mileage alone, they would never pay for loaner car, or to have repaired? 3. This has meant over 30 letters and more phone calls than that to deal with, and rarely do they call you back or reply at all. Can I claim for this time and distress? 4. Am I totally wasting my time? I was hit from behind on Wednesday evening heading to work. The driver was ticketed by the police and their insurance company has admitted full liability. Injury wise, I have whiplash which thankfully, is going away now. My car, according to their adjuster, is going to be claimed as totaled. So, my car is valued at 7400, and repairs just from visual inspection, are 7015. So they are going the totaled route as its cheaper for them. After they buy the car from me, they will sell it to salvage, expect to get 2k from it, and only be out 5400 instead of a full cost of repairs. So I've had the car for a year and half, taken out on a 5yr car loan. I still owe 12k on it. After they cut a check to the lean holder, I'm still responsible for 5k on that loan. The bank and my insurance at the time didn't offer gap insurance. Stupid of me, I let my current policy expire to search around for a more affordable policy. I kept procrastinating, and the accident happened with me having no insurance. Lucky he hit me and is at fault. I'm trying to see what my options are. I've gone to the liable company's website and see their basic plan for my state, law requires 25k in property liability for at fault accidents, plus medical etc. So I'm wondering what should I expect from the lady handling this claim. I'm not fooled when she called me yesterday and said that she is here to work with and for me. Saying that there is probably a lot of talk about lawyers, just know they will take 30-40% of you settlement. Know that I'm here to work for you, try to work with me I'm thinking my head total bull crap. 1, she works for her insurance company first, and will have their interest first, 2, she works for their client and to protect them from me in a suit. In the end, I'm not stuck with a car that they will not fully pay to have repaired, and will still owe 5k after they pay the loan holder the value of the car.
