Hey,

I was wondering if there're any hard set facts about the Hunter, the Hunter's partnership with Lea and the Hunter's feelings towards Lea in general that we should be aware of?

I don't want to roleplay or headcannon things about my Hunter that wouldn't work, like deciding how my Hunter views Lea/feels about them after the last job they ydid before the start of The Northern Passage (as an example).

hmmmm i don't... think so? at least nothing that's not already mentioned in the game.

the hunter has been with Lea for about 4-5 years, the partnership started out strong but deteriorated quickly over time. they've always had a more "professional" relationship, and both Lea and the hunter have overall kept each other at a distance. Lea doesn't know about the hunter's family, and the hunter doesn't know about Shoshana.

otherwise, i try my best to keep the time before Keld pretty vague so players can fill in whatever they'd like for their hunter. Keld is always the "turning point" so to speak in their relationship where they both were at their worst - Lea cocky and unprepared while the hunter was reckless and angry.

so the game always starts off with the hunter and Lea being pretty tense and frustrated with each other, but it's up to the player how they want to approach it, either the rival path or the partnership path.

and since you asked, i'll take this as an opportunity to say that the hunter will always want to keep the rot hidden from Lea regardless of what path you're on, but you will eventually get to choose your own reasoning as to why. you will also always be protective of Lea, again regardless of what path you're on - and Lea will always be protective of you, too, in their own way.

if there's anything else i've mentioned on the blog in previous asks or lore posts it's pretty fast and loose - like i said i do try to keep it intentionally vague. as for snippets, those are sort of.. non-canon? it's hard to write those to be compatible with every single hunter since they're just linear blurbs and i don't ever write them to be interpreted as word of god. a lot of them are scenarios that may literally be impossible and could never be canon, anyways, but are just little "what-ifs" i like to write.
