i will actually say one thing about teal mask in regards to the floretverse but there Will be spoilers under the cut here so.

yuki would not have lied to kieran. i cannot stress that enough. it would be entirely out of character for him to do so between his personal beliefs, his differing relationships with carmine and kieran, and just like. his general tendency to be headstrong. however. This did not change what happened to kieran. because i really do not think it would have changed the outcome of the whole thing. the tipping point for kieran at least within ScVi:AW is very much finding out that he's been lied to his whole life up until this point and i want that to be highlighted with the fact that yuki did in fact tell him the truth
