yes☺️ long story short it would be hurtful to him. long story long the root is ofc his hero persona and ego. england mentions that the empires of old were cruel and merciless to the nations under them to offer some context or an excuse, and even tho he's just like fantasizing abstractly in ame's head it's still like. well he isn't like them! he's modern, he's nice! why would he do something like this!
