Jin Kamurai: Height is abt 6’2, so taller than average, but not super tall. Weight is abt 187 lbs or 84.8218 kg (not much muscle definition, but strong core and muscular arms needed to wield heavy sword), 40in underbust circumference, 30in waist, 42in hip. Triangular body type.

Excess notes: Upturned eyes, sharp nose, strongly defined cupid’s bow lips. Broad, unusually flexible shoulders. Hands are long and slender, wrists unusually small. Flatter than a wooden board in the back. Thighs and calves not very well-trained, but strong enough to give him a good base for combat. Penis length 6in, not particularly girthy or lengthy. Happy trail is present but almost invisible, silver hair against white skin relatively hard to spot. Keeps it hairy but does trim occasionally. 

Tohma Ishibashi: Height is around 6’1.5, taller than average. Weight is around 185 lbs or 83.9146 kg (enough muscle definition to be skilled in combat and wield axe, that and generally large height explain larger weight), 39in underbust, 29in waist, 42in hip. Rectangular body type.

Excess notes: Straight almond eyes, long straight nose, regular cupid’s bow lips. Long neck, very pronounced collarbones. Palms especially wide, fingers long and slender. Does not have much of an ass to work with I fear. Similar to Jin in that calves and thighs aren’t well-trained, but good enough to provide a strong base for axe-swinging. Penis length 7in, more in length than girth. Slight curve to the right. Well trimmed, no happy trail. 

Lucas Errant: Height is around 6’, taller than average, but not super tall. Weight is around 213 lbs or 96.6152 kg (large muscle definition despite being shorter, which is why he weighs more), 42in underbust, 30in waist, 46in hip. Hourglass body type.

Excess notes: I hc him to be mixed Jamaican/British + suffers from Acrofacial vitiligo (spots appear typically on face around openings, but in his case it appears on the back of his head which causes the lighter hair color there; has light spots on inner eye, under nose, and on hands, feet, and genital area). Wide, upturned eyes, small pronounced button nose, thicker lips with slight cupid’s bow. Broad shoulders. Hands thicker but wider, very heavy-handed. Has largest ass in Frostheim. Thighs and calves very well-trained, less likely to lose balance than Jin or Tohma during combat. Penis length 6.5in (used a different avg, as he’s not japanese but jamaican), thicker than usual, some varicose vein, slight left curvature. Likes to upkeep happy trail. Doesn’t trim often.

Kaito Fuji: Height is around 5’10, closer to average height. Weight is around 134 lbs or 60.7814 kg (not much muscle definition, gets minimal exercise, has defined core for archery’s sake), 34 in underbust, 28in waist, 36in hip. Rectangular body type.

Excess notes: Wide upturned cat-like eyes, sharp upturned nose, thin upper lip, bottom lip typical size. Long neck, pronounced bone structure (slightly visible spine). Hands are small and slender. Comparable to Jin in that he doesn’t have much of an ass, but isn’t quite as flat as Jin. Has more core strength than thigh or calf strength, but can establish an okay base for archery. Penis length is 5.5in, somewhat thick. Light happy trail and doesn’t grow much pubic hair.

What's going on with Nemona's wrist?

this is mostly just me putting down all my thoughts about this hc I have. Below the cut bc it's long as usual but read on if ur interested in like. orthopedics

I think Nemona has fatigue and some kind of wrist Issue because 1. She implies she has decreased motor function in that arm (can't throw pokeballs well, supports her arm with her other hand during battles) 2. She wears a brace 3. She gets winded easily / needs to catch her breath more than other characters / hates stairs So that got me wondering what the cause could be. I work in an orthopedic office and my shifts are 12 hours so sometimes when it's slow and I'm bored this is what my mind wanders to

Option 1: It's carpal tunnel and she's out of shape This is the most obvious answer since carpal tunnel is a repetitive stress injury and she's wearing a brace that looks almost identical to irl braces for that problem. Throwing pokeballs over and over, especially incorrectly, would be the most likely cause of an asymmetrical injury like that, and is actually reasonable for someone of her age and activity level. The winded thing is just because she's out of shape and has no underlying cause. Or maybe she just has some kinda chronic pain / fatigue disorder. That's not my department idk

Option 2: Oligoarticular JIA (juvenile idiopathic arthritis) This very long name is just describing chronic joint swelling in children that affects less than 5 joints. It's an autoimmune disease, and actually not that uncommon all things considered. It causes stiffness and pain, which would explain the stamina issues and motor skill issues. Plus, the constant flexion and extension of the knees from staircases certainly would explain her distaste for them in particular. That shit hurts. Occasionally people will use a brace for JIA-- it's highly unlikely her wrist would be the worst considering the typical presentation patterns (it usually affects bigger joints first like the knees) but hey. It's possible! This condition also affects young girls more often than other groups so. Math checks out

Option 3: Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hypermobility type) Figured I would include this bc I've seen a few people hc this and wanted to give it a fair shot myself. This is a heritable connective tissue disorder that causes hypermobile joints, chronic pain, fatigue, and a whole host of other things. Specifically tho, this disorder used to be called EDS type III and is now considered part of the Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders, but that's a can of worms for a post that's not this one. While the symptoms do match, and honestly quite well (a brace for stabilization makes perfect sense and the fatigue symptoms feel pretty on the nose) the disease usually causes very stretchy skin and vascular issues that she doesn't seem to have so I'm a tad on the fence

Option 4: Cervical spinal stenosis Despite this being the first thing that came to mind for me (since I see it a lot in the office) I'm now less convinced this would be the case. This disorder is basically a narrowing of the spinal canal that pinches the nerves in the neck. It can cause pain, weakness, numbing, and pain that radiates down the body. If most of the compression was on the C4 and C5 nerve I can see it affecting one arm / wrist especially rough (since the pain is typically bilateral but asymmetrical) but also this occurring in people under the age of 50 is SUPER rare so eh. It's possible it was congenital or caused by an injury but I wouldn't bet on it. As for the stamina issues, the neurological issues caused by the compression would likely be the cause of that, especially radiating down the back and legs. Felt worth it to include even if I'm not 100% convinced

I'm saying "options" here bc these symptoms are super vague and there's like 80 billion things that could cause it, I'm just racking my brain for different possibilities. If anyone has other hcs for the underlying causes of Her Whole Deal lmk I'm curious

mcl headcanon masterpost pt.1 - armin

let's start this off with my long term favourites; the twins. this is armin's part, and alexy is next!

will start this with his full name being armin frederic lemaire

if you name a joint, he has probably dislocated it at least once in his life. he’s always been hypermobile, having chronic pain (mistaken as growing pains) and fatigue, being prone to dislocation. that later becomes a diagnosis of hypermobile ehlers-danlos syndrome.

that makes him also prone to getting migraines and headaches regularly, explaining the whole hating bright lights thing

he has had an eating disorder on and off since he was about 15; partly diagnosed, he meets the criteria for OSFED, so his ed is a bit. weird and all over the place. it’s mostly periods of restriction with a fear/disgust of food, followed by periods of binging and eating more or less normally. he’s closer to atypical bulimia, in terms of specifics, because the binge/purge episodes aren’t that frequent. he went inpatient once, and still jokes about how he was the only guy there. only his family knows about his eating issues as of now.

another thing about the ed is that it was already kind of in the making when alexy had his unaliving attempt, but that was really what kickstarted it all.

around UL, with nathaniel going absolutely off the fucking rails, armin and amber struck an odd friendship. they both could clock the other on their fucked up eating issues, but neither said anything for a long time, until amber did. they agreed to try and recover together.

I know having a “type” isn't really a thing and u like who u like. with that said i think hed like slightly androgynous looking girls (soft spot for shaved heads. its soft;;), girls who are very very feminine but in an out of the ordinary way (think lolita, hyper pop fem vibe, goth girls in corsets, etc), guys who work out (he has a weakness for back muscles), in general people who stand out in a crowd be it with their appearance, style or their attitude

!!! We'll go by character because that's easiest

This also went on way longer then I thought so I'll put a read more, sorry about that! Be warned for a couple mentions of sh, malnutrition/ed, and general depression/anxiety. It's not very detailed but it's worth mentioning.

Sunny

As far as lgbt hcs go I see Sunny as panromantic/asexual for no other reason then I fucking can. Honestly he's one of those characters that I feel deep in my soul is trans but can't decide if it's transmasc or transfem.

I personally believe that he was originally going to be much taller but the severe lack of food during most of his teenage years caused his growth to stunt a bit so he's now the shortest out of the main group.

The way I write Sunny in terms of talking is that I think he switches between sign and speaking pretty often around people he's comfortable with and then strictly signs around people he doesn't know very well. I don't see stress having much of a factor it's more just how comfortable he is with the people in his general vicinity.

I really like the idea of Sunny turning to crafting after he gets out of the hospital. I think he's artsy in general but I don't see him permanently going back to playing music and while I could see him drawing I think I like the idea of him doing more physical art more as a way of grounding. I see him knitting a lot or having Basil show him how to weave a flower crown. I can also see him sewing and using that to add things to his eyepatches.

After the hospital I think Sunny would gradually start to incorporate color back into his wardrobe. Whether it be by stealing his friends/partners (since I ship solar system) clothes or just getting some of his own. I still think he'd mostly wear monochrome stuff but I think as he starts to heal and move on he'll begin to explore a bit more with his style.

I think Sunny would really like having his nails painted or doing them himself. It's a repetitive action that's a bit artsy and I feel like he'd find it relaxing like I do.

I have always imagined Sunny to have the same sort of teasing nature and humor as Mari just like ten times more deadpan. So he'll purposely fluster his friends by giving them compliments but do it with a completely flat expression (and monotone voice if he's speaking).

I don't think Sunny ever deliberately self harms or has an ed of any kind but I see him as the type who struggles a lot with taking care of himself and will deprive himself of simple things like water or food because he doesn't 'deserve' it.

The same goes for when he's feeling down. I really don't see him as the type who would go to other people when he's upset. At least not at first, I think he'd probably get better about it over time after the events of the game.

Because I'm a sucker for piercings I think Sunny would get a double helix (two hoops on the top of one of his ear lobes, I think that's what they're called). I could also see him with a hoop on the side of his nose or studs.

Aubrey

Lgbt wise I see her as bi with a masc lean. She's another character I seriously can't decide if I see as transmasc or transfemme but she's not cis.

I actually see her as extremely tall? Like not Kel tall but she's maybe only a few inches shorter then Hero and absolutely towers over Basil and Sunny. I think she also wears platforms a lot just to get that much taller (she never reaches Kel though and it drives her nuts).

I know in the game her hair is really straight but I personally see it as really curly. Like not ringlets or anything but I guess big princess curls? Just a lot of fkin hair. I think she would really like having people mess with it too, like having Mari braid it when they were younger or having Basil runs his hands through it when he's anxious.

She cusses. So much. It's the sort of thing she knows how to switch out of though, so she can every easily go from cussing someone the fuck out to speaking without a single swear if she really wants with no issue. Usually though, she doesn't care enough to filter herself.

I actually see Aubrey as pretty competent? Like I think she had to grow up taking care of herself for the most part so I figure she probably knows how to do most chores and can at least cook basic things. I figure if she can put that stuff off though she will because I think it makes her upset knowing she has to do those things herself and has no one to help her.

She is absolutely the kind to give affectionate nicknames that should be insulting but sound sweet coming from her. Like it sounds like she's being mean to an outside perspective but the people who know her understand that she is just like that and I think she really appreciates the people who understand that about her.

I see her as the kind who likes to go thrift shopping and buy a bunch of old clothes and then diy them to hell and back. Whether it be cutting them, drawing on them with fabric markers, or just using them as extra fabric to make something completely new. I also thinks she's the kind to draw on the cuffs of her jeans or sneakers (nothing super detailed, more doodles. Like little stars or x's, probably a tic-tac toe game somewhere).

As far as piercings go I actually can't see Aubrey with very many. I'm not exactly sure why but something about it just doesn't suit her very much. I see her more interested in the tattoo side of body modification than piercings side honestly (though an eyebrow piercing might suit her).

Basil

I see Basil as pan. I also see him as transmasc or even nonbinary? I'm leaning to demiboy but I'm not certain. Either way, not cis.

In terms of height he's the second shortest but I still think he's at least half a head taller than Sunny. I think he likes being short though.

Basil gives me heavy ND vibes. I'm not certain whether it's autism or ADHD but I'm certain he's one of the two (I'm leaning to autism).

Whether he is or not though I think he likes info dumping a lot and just generally gets very passionate about what he's interested in and I see him stimming a lot when he does (rocking on his heels, shaking his hands out, pulling on his fingers).

I think Basil (like Sunny) finds more physical projects grounding. So when he's upset he'll garden or go outside with his camera or scrapbook until his head has cleared a bit.

Related to the above and less a hc then an observation but I think Basil is the kind who gets aggressive when he's anxious rather than flighty (unlike Sunny). I can see him saying hurtful things he doesn't mean or just generally lashing out and so he'll usually leave to clear his head before that happens (I don't think it would ever get as bad as it did with the whole eye thing in the game).

I think Basil would be really interested in things like crystals or tarot. Not to the point it's a large aspect of his life but it's something he knows quite a bit about and finds interesting.

I think Basil would have a lot of freckles. I'm not really sure why but this is a thing I really love giving characters so yeah, Basil has freckles.

I also see Basil's hair as wavy instead of straight? Like not severely so, more like beach waves. I also think he'd have Aubrey help him dye it teal/green at the ends at some point.

I think Basil would always have some kind of dirt on him. Like soil or bits of flowers steams. I also think his hands would actually be rather calloused and covered in little knicks from working with plants so often.

I think Basil would do the same thing I do where sometimes he'll just grab someone's hands and mess with the fingers or draw lines over their palm lines and knuckles. It's soothing for him.

I see Basil as the one who wears a lot of jewelry. Like necklaces and rings and bracelets. I think it'd be more simple stuff but he'd wear a lot of it at once. I also see him wearing a lot of piercings, like studs or maybe even small gages alongside a septum. I think he could even have one of those one that's like a stick that goes through the top of the lob (not positive what that one is called sorry).

Kel

Lgbt wise I think Kel is pan. Out of the whole group I see him as the most likely to be cis but he also gives me a bit of transmasc energy so I could go either way.

Tallest. Tall ass boi. He is a whole head taller then Aubrey who is the third tallest and at least half a head taller then Hero. He absolutely lords this over everybody (particularly Hero). Sunny literally comes up to his shoulder.

I think out of the whole group Kel is the most emotionally intelligent (Hero is very similar but I think Kel is just slightly more attuned to it). I see him as the one who can just tell what a person needs without them really needing to say and is good at pushing people to take care of themselves without upsetting them.

I also think Kel is really observant when it comes to the people he cares about. He always can tell when they're upset and I think he's the kind to remember their favorite animal and drink and color. It's the little things with him.

While emotionally intune with others I don't think Kel is very aware of his own emotions. He can tell what he's generally feeling obviously but I think he brushes it off a lot and so when he does feel strongly it catches him off guard. I think Sunny and him are similar in the fact that both of them bottle their emotions so much that when they do feel them, even if it's something like happiness or joy, it makes them feel a little sick because it's so intense.

Kel is really, really easy going. I think he's the kind of person who just doesn't like spending a lot of time alone and so he's always willing to go and do whatever his friends want to do so long as he gets to hang out with them.

I think Kel would probably end up growing his hair out long enough to wear it in a ponytail. I think generally he just like having longer hair but he also does it so he can practice hairstyles for when Sally gets older (I can see him practicing on Aubrey and Sunny (if we're talking transfemme Sunny) too.

Kel wears a lot of oversized clothes. I don't think he likes restrictive things so I'd imagine he prefers open toed shoes and strictly shorts or sweats and hoodies that are big enough the sleeves fall over his hands (which I typically see his friends/partners stealing a lot).

I don't see Kel wearing much jewelry but if he did I think it'd be really simplistic. Like studs or a necklace or maybe even an anklet.

Whenever I think about fem!Eddie, I see a typical soft girl with cute hair bows and glittery nails, always a cherry lipgloss in her purse. Like, she’s the human version of the strawberry dress and you can’t convince me otherwise.

Fem!Richie would definitely be the “if a song is a bop, it’s a bop” type of person. If you open her Spotify, as Stefon says, this place has everything. As for them coming to terms with their sexuality, I have a whole list of scenarios in my head, don’t even get me started.

With Eddie, she kind of always just knew, but tried to hide it, especially while she was still living with her mother.

After moving away to college and seeing how open people were about their sexuality there, Eddie grew more confident, not shying away and locking up whenever girls apart from Beverly and Richie complimented her, but she still didn’t have enough courage to actually come out (until one day she did, but that’s another story).

With Richie, in all her life she didn’t really pay attention to anyone, never really thought twice about some guy or girl that subtly tried to hit on her. All of Richie’s attention was always focused only on her friends and maybe, just maybe, a bit more on Eddie.

It finally hit Richie that she’s not only into girls and not into guys, but into Eddie, when Eddie dragged her to Macy’s after earning her first paycheck and almost made the cashier cry because they didn’t have the right size of a dress Eddie really wanted to buy. Just watching her fuming, one second away from stamping both of her feet because the store didn’t have some low quality lilac summer dress, was enough for Richie to finally realize just how in love she was.

As for coming out, I feel like Richie would be the first to tell all of the Losers and then the rest of the world, but with Eddie, she struggled with being open about that part of herself mostly because of her mother, but also anxiety and fear of losing her only friends, even though she knew that they wouldn’t leave her if they found out she was gay, because Eddie’s seen how supportive they were of Richie.(I came up with a whole fic while writing this so if you want to see how I picture lesbian!Reddie coming out, feel free to stop by my ask box!)

The last but not least — fem!Reddie getting together.

Even though my favorite getting together trope is probably “person A walking in on person B and jumping their bones”, I wanted to throw something cute and soft in here, so enjoy 💞

Even after Richie and Eddie come out and the cats are out of the bags, they are both too scared to make a move, because just because she likes girls doesn’t mean she might like me.

So, when they do get together, it’s completely on accident.

Eddie’s teeth has been hurting for a few days now, and she, being the definition of a hypochondriac she is, makes an appointment with the dentist where they tell her that she needs to have one of her wisdom teeth removed as soon as possible.

Rchie drives her to the clinic the next day and waits for Eddie in the waiting room with shitty coffee and some pamphlet on how to avoid STDs just to be met with her barely conscious best friend wrapped in a soft blanket, slurred voice blocked by the cotton balls in her mouth and drugs in her system, and the most adorable, barely understandable comments Eddie makes during all of their way home.

When Richie lays Eddie down on her bed and tucks her in, meaning to let her rest, a weak hand reaches out and tugs on her wrist, wordlessly asking to stay. And who’s Richie to refuse cuddles with her favorite person in the world?

She lays down next to Eddie, who lifts her blanket to let Richie snuggle closer to her and instantly buries her nose in Richie’s neck, signing softly.

Richie smiles when a few minutes later she hears quiet snores, the ones she knows from two years of living with Eddie mean she’s definitely asleep, caressing the small of Eddie’s back where her hand hugs her.

She appears to be wrong though, because suddenly Eddie lifts her head and Richie almost coos at how cute and sleepy she looks, but there’s determination in those honey-brown eyes that throws Richie off-balance.

“You need to rest, Eds. Go back to sleep,” she says softly, hugging Eddie even tighter, but Eddie only shakes her head and looks into Richie’s confused eyes before demanding as seriously as she can with two cotton balls in her mouth: “Did I ever tell you I love you?”

Taken aback, Richie furrows her brows, tries to catch up with what’s happening, already thinking of a way to turn this into a joke because clearly Eddie doesn’t mean it like that. She likes girls, yeah, but she’s never shown any interest in Richie like that, like they might be more than best friends.

“Yeah. Remember that time you forgot your wallet and you were really hungry and I bought you, like, two burritos with extra guac?” Richie jokes, grinning to mask everything she’s feeling right now, from confusion to fear, but Eddie only shakes her head.

“No, that’s not what I meant,” she says, and Richie tries so hard not to freak out because even though Eddie still looks so out of it, the seriousness in her voice and the words falling from her puffy lips are making her feel things.

“What did you mean, then?” she croaks, trying to read the situation, because from the way Eddie’s looking at her right now, she might, might be saying what Richie thinks she’s saying.

“That I love you. Not for those burritos, but for you,” she says and instantly cringes, and Richie barely suppresses a snort because Eddie’s too fucking cute when she’s high on medicine. “That came out cheesy and talking fucking hurts, so please tell me you get what I’m saying,” Eddie whines, and her puppy eyes have always been impossible to resist, so Richie shuts the anxiety and fear already screaming in her mind up and smiles, pulling Eddie even closer.

“I get it, Eds. I love you too.”

The way Eddie’s eyes light up at her words is almost enough to have Richie’s heart bursting out of her chest and falling right into Eddie’s hands, but a moment later Eddie furrows her brows and studies Richie before asking “For realsies? Like, love love?”

Snorting, Richie smiles softly. “Yes, Eddie. For realsies. I love love you”.

This time, Eddie actually squeaks and Richie wants to kiss her so badly, but it’s not the best idea as long as there’s an open wound in Eddie’s mouth. Eddie, as it seems, comes to the same conclusion, her half-lidded gaze falling on Richie’s lips before she sighs.

“I’d kiss you right now if this damn tooth wasn’t cockblocking me,” Eddie mumbles, burrowing her face in Richie’s neck once again, and Richie can’t hold back a delighted chuckle at this side of Eddie that only comes out when she’s not in full control of her mouth before gently kissing her on the forehead.

“Go to sleep, baby. We’ll have plenty of time to do just that and more once you feel better.”

“Okay,” Eddie mumbles into her neck, making Richie shiver a bit, and she feels so happy she could burst and decides that the second Eddie feels better, she’ll do everything in her power to make her feel just as happy as she’s feeling right now.
