i just want to say that i have a great desire to write x-files fanfiction but at the same time i am also terrified of doing so because the fandom already has so many wonderful stories and talented writers that sometimes i worry that i might not have anything worth adding

#i also have a very wierd relationship to fiction writing in general #i literally have to retrain my brain to go from ‘no i can’t write prose fiction ever again’ which is where i’ve been stuck for years #to ‘actually i can learn to do this again’#i used to write constantly and being able to write was my lifeblood but there’s a little bit of trauma and stuff happened in my life that ma #made me stop writing completely for a long time #so. i want to be able to do it again as naturally as i used to #but it takes time i guess?#belle speaks #the x files
