i think i'm like, almost halfway with hbp, reading like 2 chapters a day when i can because i need to settle my thoughts for every chapter LOL... kinda mourning the fact that this is post-ootp harry and his thoughts and dialogues are more active and interesting here but is also the last time we'll get the formulaic school year format

funnily enough despite harry's thoughts more active than reactive now he STILL won't tell the readers his real thoughts about malfoy that much. i'd see him insult snape or even smith in his head more than draco 😭you got the chance to make fun of him in slughorn's christmas party and you're just INTRIGUED by what he's doing....ok
