DEMO TEASER ALMOST FULLY CODED LETS GOOO

remember the video game adaption I mentioned? well, i've been working on it lately.

it's going to be a teaser demo. That's the first 5-10 minutes depending on how fast you run through the dialogue. No gameplay really yet, choices (based on the comic's asks) will come in once Chara's around.

i'm only adapting up to when Chara pulls a zombie move and yoinks themself half way up out of the ground but.. it's been coming along great! it's shockingly amazing how fast I can get this all done... helps considering it's 99% cutscenes atm.

i've just got the above scene, one small cutscene, and the main menu/settings to code. Then portraits (honestly the biggest hurdle, that's a lot of art to be done) and a couple of overworld sprites.

I've gotten someone to help with the music (this isn't a proper devlog, I plan on properly crediting and showing off the music w/ permission soon) and its almost all remixes of the canon music for the canon-based scenes. since its a short demo teaser, i only need 2 tracks and a audio stinger left.

like, oh my gosh. i'll probably release this thing in like a week or two. (depending on how long the portraits take, i have no idea. code wise i'll be done in 1-3 days depending on how busy i am)

7 minutes in panic. College Gojo x reader

1700 WORDS EXACTLY.

The one time you decide to go to a party, it goes wrong.

TW: Use of drugs (U get drugged) and are stuck in a small closet for 7 minutes. (Btw there is no smut, just fluff)

UNEDITED AND VERY SELF INDULGET so it might not make much sense?

You had never been to a party before, let alone one in a cramped dorm spilling with people, even some of them in the hallway standing, drinking, talking and shamelessly making out. 

This is probably what you expected but you couldn't help but feel nervous, god why did you go alone? Was it because you're only 2 reliable friends who knew it was a dumb idea-

Walking down the hallway the smell of sweat and alcohol got stronger filling your lungs almost making you get drunk in the air. Why did you even come? Whatever it's too late to turn back might as well commit.

The room was cramped and the music was muffled by all the people surrounding the speaker. You walked toward the counter and picked up a red cup, typical just like the movies, but nothing bad or dramatic is going to happen to you, right? You held the cup awkwardly looking at your hands, almost hesitating to drink the contents, you didn't know what was in it and the smart people would have their suspicions about it, but why worry? You were to stressed anyway you needed a break.

As much as you didn't mind the workload, you loathed the assigned partnered assignments because you were always paired with Gojo.

You already knew him through your other friends, Geto and Shoko.

You didn't mind always being paired with him and he always did his work load, sometimes you'd have to do a bit of his part but he would always thank you with a surprise, usually some sweets.

The worst part was just that he was...hot. He always made your heart forget how to function when you two work together.

‘“And what are you doing here? I thought you weren't the one to frequent parties?” You were snapped out of your imagination only to be faced with someone's chest- you looked up and wow… it was him, Gojo.

���Uh well um I just, its,” you let out an airy laugh trying to distract him from the blush on your face. 

“I don't have anything to work on right now so I thought id give it a shot…” You subconsciously took a drink out of the cup you were holding, breaking eye contact with him.

“I can tell '' he laughed and smiled pleasantly toward you.

Oh gosh if only you'd have a chance, he's not top of the class but he is smart when he really thinks and a sports legend. His biceps easily make its presence known out of the short sleeved shirt that fit him all too well. He was the dream guy, but you, you thought you were nothing compared to him.

You didn't love yourself but you didn't hate yourself, you sort of just accepted the way you look so you just worked with it.

You turned to leave the party as you heard someone yell

"SPIN THE BOTTLE" followed by loads of cheers.

“Leaving already?” He said with his brows furrowed

“Uh I think i'm going to get some air, it's hot in here” you flashed a smile.

You started to push your way through the crowd. It was rough but then you felt a hand latch onto your wrist.

“Hold on tight” Gojo looked at you before guiding you through the many, many people.

Your heart nearly burst. You eventually reached a window putting your elbows down on the window sill and placing your head in your hands.

“I saw your last basketball game, nice win” You said, giving him a smile before turning your head up to the sky.

“You-you watched my game?”

You looked at him puzzled until you saw him rubbing the back of his neck with a blush creeping up his neck.

“Uh yeah you looked really good to” You said

“LOOKED GOOD PLAYING-” Trying to save yourself from the embarrassing comment you let slip out. Must have been the drink making you lose focus.

There was silence in the air then you heard two familiar voices, it was Geto and Shoko singing along terribly to the song playing with slurred words and drunk voices. 

“I think i'm going to head in again, are you coming? Totally fine if you're not you don't have too” Gojo said looking to the side trying to avoid your gaze.

"I wouldn't mind that'' you said, waking up beside him taking your opportunity.

The door is pushed open and you walk over to Geto and Shoko, you told them you were going with Gojo and might leave early so they wouldn't worry about you.

You mentioned something about Gojo before the room erupted with a mixed reaction of jealousy and excitement. Looking back from your side there it was… a bottle pointing at you. Puzzled you follow the gazes of the room until you realised it was Gojo on the other side of the room looking at you. He was the one that had spun the bottle and accidently roped you into the game "7 minutes in heaven". A guy drags you and Gojo by the wrists and pushed both you guys in a closed down the hallway from the party.

It was dusty and small but still enough space for you to lean against the wall and have one step of space between the two of you. A lock sound was heard outside the door. This was it you were stuck.

"Ha...sorry you are here right now I didn't mean it." Gojo said looking at you in the dark.

You fidgeted in the dark unconfutably. How do you even stand here with the guy you like and do nothing?

“Relax.” The sudden feeling of his head into the crook of your neck threw you off.

You leaned in wrapping your arms around his torso muffling a quick “I like you”.

Oh god, what did you do? You really shouldn't havce come tonight.

You felt him sink into your neck even more and muffle a

“I like you too”. 

You could feel it reverberate against your skin. Gojo slowly pulled back, your body warmth suddenly dropped and you were cold but that didn't matter right now. The urge to kiss him was unbearable.

You leaned in a little closer a jolt of shock ran through your nerves and you felt your legs give way, you couldn't stand up properly and slowly fell forward into Gojo's chest.

“Are-e you okay?!?” he said voice shaky as he held you up and spotted a bit of blood trickling down your lips. 

“I can't feel my legs, I think I'm going to pass out-” you gasped at the sharp pain in your throat causing more blood to trickle down your bottom lip.

“It must have been the drink” he swiftly picked you up bridal style (yessss -////-).

Someone had spiked your drink with how knows what and what it and what they planed to do when it came into effect. It had only been 4 minutes out of the 7 so the door was still locked.

“SOMEBODY OPEN THIS UP” Gojo yelled while kicking at the door.

It wouldn't budge and everything around you went fuzzy. Gojo could feel you going limp in his arms and in panic he kicked the closet door one last time with all his strength.

The door flew the hinges and walked out trying to keep you awake and responding. As he carried you down the hallway there were whispers and snickers.

“Hey man, I can take her from here. She just needs to sleep so hand here over and just enjoy the party.” A seemingly drunk dude said.

“I don't think I will, now move.” Barging past the man harshly quickening his pace to his apartment not too far off campus. It must have been the guy, he must have spiked all the drinks.

The moon shone and your breath slowed down along with your heart rate, everything was foggy but you tried your best to stay awake as you clung onto Gojo’s shirt. 

“Hang in there” He said as he unlocked the door and sat you on his kitchen counter. You were struggling to sit up straight and not fall over while clinging on to the edge of the counter.

the sounds of quick opening and closing of the draws and cupboards filled the room. The tap was on and there were stirring sounds, it was safe to say you had no idea what was going on and your dazed state wasn't helping. 

“Drink this.” he held the cup up to your lips and you drank it, you were too weak to even refuse. Not that you wanted to anyway.

You drank it all and your head leaned into Gojo's back as he placed the cup down on the opposite counter.

You wrapped your arms around him and mumbled a ‘Thanks’ he turned around carefully holding your face in his hands. The blood coming from your lip had dried, he leaned in closer to your face.#

Was it wrong to kiss you now? You were still dazed, but he couldn't help it when you leaned in your head closer and said

“It’s okay” while your vision slowly flooded back, thank goodness that Gojo took notes and remembered the lectures in chemistry with you when you both did the assignment.

Leaning in Gojo looks past you out to the window outside, it began sprinkling and you were in no way in any shape or form, able to walk back to campus in the weather soon to come.

He was so absorbed with his thoughts that he failed to notice his lips brush up against yours.

His eyes widened but when you did pull away he went straight in for it your arms around his neck lazily hanging off his shoulders as one hand supported you back and his other holding the back of your head gently. He slowly pulled back and watched your eyes flutter open, the sight made his heart skip.

“You don't think you'll regret this?” Gojo said with his attention all on you pending for your answer.

“Best first kiss of my life” you smiled at him before pulling him in again by his collar.

hyein delightedly waved at you as you returned the gesture, pushing the weighty mirror door open and closing it behind you. you greeted the producers, who returned it cheerfully as they stood behind the mixer.

your manager stood next to them, smiling at you with crossed arms. you approached her, "i'm a little nervous today..." you nervously laugh as you jiggle your hands to ease the nerves.

your manager laughed heartily, patting your shoulder. "you'll do great, y/n. you've been practicing for a good weeks, so it's time for you to show what you've got, alright?" she gave you a reassuring smile. warmth spread across your chest as you smiled back at her with gratitude. "thank you, unnie."

soon enough, the producers called you as the camera and the audio is ready to roll and go.

your manager gently pats your back and you let her do that before you head to sit on the chair in the middle by the studio's table, filled with a computer set.

you sat down and instantly, a female staff gave you a mic. giving her a thankful smile, you tightly held the mic as the producer raised his hand up and showed three fingers for a countdown.

you breathe softly to ease your nerves, innerly cheering for yourself.

"hello, everyone!" you eagerly waved at the camera, sending a big dimple smile despite the trembling of your hands. "today... i will be covering a beautiful pop ballad song called 'pyramid' by charice, featuring iyaz."

you hummed in wonder, "i chose this song, mainly because one of my friends that lives in the philippines recommended this to me years ago, and i have been listening to this ever since then, so i had such a huge connection with this song. i really love it."

you chuckle softly, "'pyramid' is a midtempo pop ballad song, and its lyrics metaphorically describe the strength of a relationship. there's not much of a reason why i chose this except when someone recommended it, so... i hope you all will love and enjoy this music with me."

you smiled towards the camera, slowly lowering your mic down to your lap as a soft acoustic tune starts for an intro.

you started it soft. the nerves were already gone the moment you became engrossed in the music, closing your eyes. you gently bobbed your unoccupied hand, slightly twitching at the tempo of the acoustic guitar playing.

a loud applause fills the room, with a cheerful whistle and an excited yell from the producers and your manager.

you clapped timidly with them, using your shaking hands to cover half of your face shyly.

"thank you so much! thank you for taking care of me!" you stood up from the chair and bent to your waist to thank them with a deep bow. one of the staff from earlier took your mic and cheered you up.

leaving the studio room with your manager, you almost stumbled to the wall if your manager didn't catch you in time.

"easy there, bambi!"

your manager laughs at you, holding your arms to stand you up. you shakily let out a breath and giggled giddly, "oh my gosh, unnie- i did it! it felt so good to sing it out in front of a camera."

she giggles and ruffles your hair, "now now, look at you! you got so nervous the minute before, and now you're jumping like a little lamb." you nudged her side, a satisfied dimple smile appearing on your face.

"i feel so excited for the release... i wanna know bunnies' thoughts of the music- oh! the members! i actually didn't tell them what song i was going to cover-"

you gasped dramatically, the adrenaline was still rushing through your body so you got a little more hyped than usual.

yet your manager doesn't mind the hype; she loves your unusual excitement and adorableness.

"oh yeah? well, look forward to their reactions then. you know that they'll love anything that comes from you." she winks at you playfully, receiving a rather strong push from you.

"whatever." you snort, shaking your head. but really, you can't deny that her words are true.

...you also can't deny that you notice their extra love when it comes to you.

friday came and it was the day that your cover will release in a few minutes.

currently, you were forced by your members to sit on the couch in the living room with them- you in the middle while they surround you with the laptop in front of you, resting on the coffee table.

you whined bashfully, feeling your ears heating up. "do i have to watch it too...?" to which they gave a collective affirmation to your reluctant question, you only sighed embarrassingly.

"we gotta watch it with you too, girl. you're not escaping us." hanni proudly thrums at you, waving her fingers teasingly at you.

minji laughs as she stands on her knees behind you with her arms around your neck, "you're still shy about this? what an idol you are, y/n."

you bit her hand.

danielle and haerin laugh at you and minji. hyein was on the floor, sitting between your legs so you couldn't escape. the youngest was waiting for the video to be uploaded to their youtube page.

"...i don't wanna look," you said, trying to cover your eyes but minji and hanni didn't let you as they forced you to take your hands away and place them on your lap. the girls laugh at the chaos unfolding near them.

"unnie!"

"oh! it's out!"

instantly, silence took over as the girls, including you unfortunately, went quiet. eyes focused on the screen— on you talking. you desperately want to look away.

"unni-" "shh!"

you pout as minji cupped your face from behind and squashes your cheeks together to get you quiet, while hanni and danielle hold your hands.

hyein and haerin was too engrossed.

you listened and watched your members' reaction when your little speech ended and the next thing they'll see is you singing. you feel and hear your heart beating rapidly in your ears, unconsciously gulping down your nerves.

as you began to sing, all of you stayed quiet to watch your cover.

"oh my god, y/n. look at the views!" hanni and hyein scream in excitement as your cover's view is now at 480k views. your jaws dropped as the girls celebrated next to you, shaking your body to take your soul back to your body.

"huh- why is it already in a hundred views?! it just got released!" you exclaimed in disbelief.

haerin laughs at your face, "isn't it a good thing, y/n unnie? i think you should be proud of what you achieved." haerin said as she smiled at you.

the others quickly nodded in agreement, "for real! your cover is just too good, bro." hanni made a funny face as she slaps the air out of nowhere.

minji and danielle, already catching up to the melody of the new song that they'd heard for the first time, sang the chorus playfully as they looked at you teasingly.

you laughed at their chemistry and closed your eyes as you shake your heads at them.

hyein was already making a new account to like and comment on your cover song— you quickly slapped her hands away like a mother scolding their child.

"no going far, hyein-ssi!" you scolded her, shaking your head at her when she pouts at you pitifully. "so mean!" she drastically said.

"seriously..." you sigh.

minji chuckles and pats your head, "come on, y/n. you did so great and i feel so proud of you! also, how come you didn't tell us what song you were going to cover?" minji genuinely asks, the others listen in quietly.

you shrug, holding on her hands when minji sneaks her arms around your neck again. "i dunno.. i guess i forgot? you know me..." danielle points at your proud face. "what's with your face?"

hyein turns to you, still sitting in front of you. "you're really a forgetful person, unnie! and also shorter than hanni unnie-" you didn't forget to pinch her cheek to shut her up about your height.

"but i'm so happy for you, unnie! to be frank, i really really love your voice so much. there's just a unique tone in your voice that captivates me so much, and i don't think i could ever get tired of your voice." danielle sincerely smiles at you as she pokes your cheek.

haerin nodded with a small smile, fidgeting on your shirt quietly.

you, despite feeling embarrassed and bashful, smiled at your members with love and gratitude. "thanks guys. i really felt so excited that day after my cover, and to be honest.. i really think i did great too."

"then, a good group hug to celebrate!" hyein squeals as she pulls all of you together for a tight hug, followed by a yell of surprise then a joyful laughter.

oh, you are so loved.

(1.) [Andrea] You have 30 minutes to make an appetizer using all four of the basket ingredients. The timer starts... Now!

(2.) [Alex] I'm making a raclette with an assortment of merguez sausage, vegetable flatbread, pea shoots, and a side of shakshuka sauce. I think everything will go nicely with the melted cheese.

(3.) [Alex] I'll add ham, salami, steamed potatoes, and olives. I'm kind of playing it safe, but I hope the variety of flavors work out for me. It's all part of my strategy to at least get to the second round.

(4.) [Lewis] I've calmed down now. I decided to make a salad with pea shoots, crumbled sausage, flatbread croutons, and a shakshuka vinaigrette.

(5.) [Lewis] It's a salad. I can't possibly mess this up.... right?

(6.) [Dulce] I went with pizza wedges with a flatbread crust. They'll have shakshuka sauce, pea shoots, and merguez sausage. Of course, I'll be adding some mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

(7.) [Dulce] The pizza wedges are going to be soooo cute and fun. I'll also put some bacon bits and garlic. I can't put too many things, though. The wedges aren't going to be that big.

(8.) [Rubiya] I'm making spaghetti with merguez sausage meatballs, shakshuka sauce, and pea shoots. I'll add the vegetables from the flatbread to my sauce and use the rest of the flatbread to make garlic bread.

(9.) [Rubiya] Could I have made shakshuka? Yes, but that's rather predictable. Also, as someone from a Middle Eastern family, I refuse to use premade shakshuka sauce. I must make it from scratch.

(10.) [Andrea] It's time to introduce the two judges here today who are joining Michelin-Starred Chef, Mia D'Angelo-Ramirez.

(11.) [Mia] Thank you, Andrea. I'm always accompanied by amazing people, but I think the viewers and contestants will find today's lineup quite astounding.

(12.) [Dulce] Wow, it's actually her... I look up to Chef Mia a lot as another Mexican-Italian. I don't have Italian blood like her, but I was born here. I want to be on her level someday.

(13.) [Lewis] Oh my gosh..... I know Chef Mia is in every episode, but I still got nervous again when I saw her at the judges' table. She is so beautiful and talented.

(14.) [Carlo] Mia, you flatter me.

[Andrea] Chef Mia is right, though! Folks, here we have Executive Chef and Food Entrepreneur, Carlo Mancini.

(15.) [Alex] Chef Carlo Mancini??? He's the real deal. It's too late to change my appetizer now, so I have to impress him with my raclette.

(16.) [Rubiya] Chef Carlo Mancini. This will be fun.

[Sofia] Thank you so much. I've already been having a blast here. Not many people know this, but I was actually in culinary school for a bit before I decided to pursue music full-time.

Obsession, part 2

Part 1

He'd thought about her all week. During meetings, while driving, even while the Baratheon girl had her mouth around his cock. Now he smiled to himself because as he got ready for the stupid wedding his mother was making them all go to like good little children, he knew she'd be there.

She'd been in the same sorority as the bride, the daughter of his mother's cousin, who was marrying some guy from fucking Pentos of all places.

"I'm not driving."

He looked at his brother in the reflection of the mirror. "I know."

He glared at Aegon, already buzzed, and finished adjusting his tie before heading out to the car. Of course Aegon wouldn't be driving, he would not put his family's safety in his older brother's hands.

"You look very nice, Aem."

"And you look beautiful, Hel," he replied, kissing his sister's cheek. She twirled in her pretty pink dress and he thought for a moment about how close she'd come to dying. He'd added extra security, plainclothes because Helaena didn't like to have the usual guys around her.

The Boltons would pay. His earlier meeting had been with the other houses that supported his family. They had all agreed there needed to be retribution, and were it not for the stupid wedding, he would most likely already be on his way to mete out some punishment.

But for now he had to play nice and look forward to seeing one particular wedding guest.

You could do this.

You could walk into the massive sept and take your seat and watch as your sorority sister married that piece of shit scumbag asshole from the seven hells.

Easy peasy.

Despite your hints that the bridegroom was a nasty piece of crap, Ellie was in love and she was determined to marry him. You just smiled and decided you'd be there for her when she dumped his ass and divorced him.

He wasn't the love of your life or anything, but it still stung when you'd find out he'd been fucking two other girls on the side. Or maybe you were one of the side chicks. Who knew. It just sucked. And after getting tested and burning all the shit he'd kept at your place, you'd moved on.

Until he got Ellie to believe he was a changed man.

People didn't change.

You took a program from one of the ushers and took your seat, halfway down the right side of the sept, and opened up Candy Crush on your phone.

"Oh, there she is!"

You saw a blur of pink heading your way and looked up to see Helaena smiling at you.

And her brother was walking alongside her, smirking.

You hugged Helaena back while pretending you did not see Aemond standing three feet behind her.

"Oh my gosh, I've told everyone about how you saved my life!"

Before you could reply, she grabbed both of your hands in hers. "My mom really wants to meet you."

Out of the corner of your eye you could see Aemond smiling and you wanted to kick him. Hard.

"That would be delightful," you said as sincerely as you could, because one simply did not turn down a mafia wife, let alone THE mafia wife.

The septon walked out and much to your relief, everyone started heading to their seats.

"I will see you at the reception," Helaena whispered before heading off.

You nodded, and purposely avoided looking at Aemond as you sat back down. Candy Crush was just too damn interesting for you to pay attention to some mafia son who wasn't used to people saying no to him.

Aemond kept surveying the ballroom, making sure there was no one around who wasn't supposed to be there. But his gaze kept turning to the table across the dance floor, where a certain brunette in a sky blue dress sat chatting with the other guests.

It was time for the newlyweds to have their first dance, and everyone stood as the happy couple took to the floor. The lights dimmed, much to Aemond's irritation, and music faded in. He hadn't heard this song before, and the lyrics were kind of corny, if he was honest, but then he caught sight of her.

She was looking at the groom, her mouth open, her eyes distressed.

Aemond turned to look at the couple dancing, and when he turned to her, she was gone.

He caught a shimmer of movement towards the side door and immediately backed away from the dance floor. He signaled to the head bodyguard to keep an eye on things, and he made his way to the side door.

She was several yards ahead of him, walking fast, her hands on her ears. Aemond realized there were speakers throughout the property, every single one of them pumping out the corny song being played for the first dance, and then she started running.

When she reached the end of the corridor, she looked from one side to the other, and turned left, and he followed. Between his longer legs and the fact that she was wearing heels, he was catching up with her, but when he turned the corner he found her sitting on one of the benches lining the gardens. She was doubled over, her face in her hands, her clutch on the floor.

"Hey."

She looked up, startled.

"What is wrong?"

She looked at him. "Why the hell are you following me?"

"You were with him."

She looked like she was about to cry.

"Was that your song?"

She grabbed her clutch and stood, turning away from him and starting to walk again. There was another speaker high up on the wall, and she groaned. "Is there nowhere I can get away from this fucking song?"

He ran up to her and grabbed her free hand. "My car's right up there."

What the fuck was wrong with people to have the fucking music piped all over the fucking property?

You had to get away, you couldn't listen to this fucking song for another fucking minute.

Looking down at Aemond's hand wrapped around yours, you made your decision. Turning to him, you said, "let's go."

He hadn't been lying, his car was parked away from where the other guests had left their cars, and you figured it was so he could get away quickly if he needed to.

Right now you didn't care, it was bad enough being at this fucking wedding and then the stupid song, it was like it was chasing you, not giving you a second of peace.

You let Aemond open the passenger door, let him walk around and get in, let him drive away, and only then did your breathing start to slow down from the frenzied pace it had been keeping.

"It was your song, wasn't it?" he asked again, "yours and that fuckface's?

You took a deep breath. "Not exactly."

He gave you time to compose yourself, let you gather your thoughts before you started to speak. "He used to write me these stupid poems. They were so cringe, but whatever, you know?"

Aemond looked at you, nodding.

"This was the last one he gave me," you said quietly. "Hey, at least he recycles, right?"

"I am sorry."

"I don't even know why I'm so upset, it's not like he left me for her. He was an asshole."

He said nothing, and you felt like even a bigger fucking idiot. Why were you telling your girl problems to this guy, of all people? Just shut the fuck up and let him drop you off.

"Oh, I should give you my address."

"Sure."

He was already driving that way, but she probably hadn't noticed because she was so upset. She lived in a tiny house that had probably been someone's guest house or in-law unit, and judging from her social media posts, it was just her living there.

He wouldn't feel bad for finding things out. For all he knew, she was part of the whole attempt on Helaena, someone placed there to "save" his sister and become her friend that way.

Except this girl didn't seem to want anything to do with him or Hel. She'd been pleasant enough but he could read people, and after Helaena had spoken to her, she'd scurried off as quickly as she could.

"Are you hungry?" he asked suddenly, "you didn't have dinner."

"Oh shit," she said, pressing a hand to her mouth, "neither did you, I'm sorry."

"Do you want to go somewhere?"

She glanced down at her gown and raised an eyebrow. "Um, no, I'm okay. I have food at home."

It had been ingrained in him since he was a child. He protected the women in the family.

Keep them warm, keep them fed.

"We can do a drive-through."

Her stomach rumbled loudly and he almost laughed. "We're doing a drive-through."

He parked in front of your house after picking up food, and while part of you was appalled at eating a messy burger and fries in your gorgeous rented gown, the smell was just too damn good and you dove in. Because you were not inviting him in.

"Thank you," you said after wiping your mouth. "For the food and the rescue."

And now you owed him. Maybe he'd consider it even with you saving his sister because you really did not want to owe him anything.

"No problem." He took all the wrappers and placed them into the paper bag, placed it in the back. "Do you like your job?"

Here we go. This is where he offers me a job and I'm indebted for fucking life.

"I do, actually."

"You seem much too smart to be doing what you do."

When you glared at him for a) knowing what you did, and b) having a fucking opinion about it, he shrugged.

"It's my job to know who comes into our lives, and I'm very good at my job."

"I am paid very well, and I like the people I work with."

"But you could be doing something so much more interesting."

You took a deep breath, because you'd had this same conversation with your brother, the last time you'd heard from him.

"Look, I get that to you-, I mean, to some people," you amended, not wanting to offend him, "a job like mine, doing peon shit for a random company might seem ridiculous."

"I didn't say that, I just think you could be doing-"

"And maybe it is," you continued, "and you've known me for a grand total of what, forty minutes, and no, I don't spend my life chasing wealth and power like, again, other people, but neither am I walking into coffee shops where men are waiting to shoot at me."

His face was unreadable, but he'd gone very, very still, and you were fucking tired and again, your fucking mouth had to keep going.

"Can your sister date whoever she wants?"

A muscle twitched in his cheek and you knew you'd hit a nerve.

Nodding smugly, you grabbed your clutch and opened your door. "Thanks again for everything. Take care."

You were surprised, because you were shaking so badly, that you managed to get out of the car and thank the fucking gods the key fob worked on the first try so you could get in your house and close the door and be done with everything.

You headed to your bedroom to change your clothes, pulling on one of your old concert shirts and some soft shorts before heading back to the living area.

When the front door opened, you shrieked and jumped back before seeing Aemond at the doorway, his hand on the lock.

"What the hell?"

He stared at you, his face unreadable. "You think you know me," he said softly, "you think you know everything. "

Anger surged in your chest. At his audacity. At the fact that he could so easily get into your home. "You mean like I just knew you were the type of guy who breaks into a woman's home so he can get the last word?" Your hands were fisted at your side and you swore to the new gods and the old if he took another step you were going to rip out his good eye with your own fingers.

He started to take a step toward you, but you pointed at him.

"Get out. I don't care you who are, I don't care who you know. Get. Out."

You turned around, tears beginning to fill your eyes. You went into the bathroom and locked the door, until you heard the front door close.

You waited a few seconds before you went back out. Your heart was beating so hard you thought you were going to pass out.

How the hell had things gone so wrong so quickly?

Aemond drove home, angry with himself. He'd wanted to explain, to tell her he wasn't a fucking asshole, and for some gods-awful reason had decided to crack the lock on her door?

I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

He'd probably terrified her. Which was his usual intent when he broke into people's houses but he hadn't thought it through, had he?

The next morning he was still seething at his own stupidity, and didn't notice Helaena walking in.

"Are you okay?"

He looked up to find her staring at him, her eyes wide.

"Yeah, why?"

"You disappeared from the wedding, for one, and now you look pissed off."

"I'm fine."

Helaena walked over and kissed his cheek, then grabbed her favorite butterfly mug from the cabinet and poured herself some coffee. "I'm going to call her. The girl from the cafe. Ask her to lunch, ya know?"

Aemond closed his eyes, sighing, "Hel, just leave her alone."

"What do you mean leave her alone, lunch is a nice thing, I want to say thank you properly."

"Just don't."

She was silent and when he looked back up from his coffee, she had tears in her eyes.

"I can't see the Snow boy because he's a bastard, I can't have lunch with the girl who saved my life, because what?"

He shook his head. "Hel, it's just not-"

"Not a good idea, yeah, I know, Aemond. Nothing is ever a good idea for me, I'm going to die alone!"

"Oh sheesh, sorry!" Aegon pressed himself against the wall as Helaena stomped away, crying. "What the fuck did you do to her?"

"Nothing."

Aegon walked behind his brother and smacked Aemond's head on his way to getting his own coffee. "Go clean that up and tell me what the fuck is wrong with Helaena. Today, I mean."

Aemond groaned and grabbed paper towels, smacking Aegon's head as he went to clean up the mess his sister had made. "She wants to be friends with the girl from the cafe."

"Is she hot?"

Aemond shot his brother a dirty look.

"Hey, I might want to be her friend, too."

"She wants nothing to do with us, I just don't want Hel to get her feelings hurt." When he looked up, Aegon was watching him with eyes narrowed. He fucking hated how perceptive Aegon was when he wasn't drunk. He gathered all the shards of the mug and threw them in the trash, wiped off the floor and threw the paper towels in the trash, too. He looked back at Aegon, who was smiling at him. "What's wrong with you?"

"You did something." Aegon laughed out loud. "Oh, I fucking love this. The perfect son fucked something up. You did, didn't you?"

"Shut up."

"Yeah, how would you know the girl wants nothing to do with us?" Aegon raised an eyebrow, "unless you talked to her?"

"Of course I talked to her, I needed to know who she was. She might have been planted into playing the 'savior' to get in with Hel."

Aegon sipped his coffee, stood up to add more milk. "Yeah yeah, but something else happened," he kept watching Aemond, who was almost squirming under his brother's scrutiny. "You didn't fuck her, because you hardly ever fuck anyone, let alone someone who might be a plant, so what? Tell me, or I will find her and ask her myself."

For fuck's sake, Aegon would. And he would make everything even worse.

"She was at the wedding. Left suddenly and I followed her, found her crying because she used to date the groom and the fucker used some song or something he'd given her as the first dance yesterday."

"That's a dick move."

"Anyway, I drove her home and might have let on I thought she was wasting her time at that stupid job she has."

"Aemond, what the fuck." Aegon pinched the bridge of his nose.

Aemond shrugged. "She took offense, said people like us didn't get people like her or some shit, and got out and went inside her house."

A huge smile appeared on Aegon's face. "And you couldn't let it go, could you?" When Aemond said nothing, Aegon barked out a laugh. "You're pathologically unable to let anyone else have the last word."

"Fuck off."

"Yeah yeah, sure, so what, you broke into her house?"

"I'm going to break your fucking face if you don't fuck right off."

"Oh I'm going, I got people to call."

Geoff Castellucci Carol Of The Bells - thoughts/commentary

Excuse me while I go pick my jaw up from the floor because like MY GOD????

So yeah Peter Hollens' cover has been definitely dethroned in my mind! Geoff has done it again! This feels like the spiritual successor to his God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen cover and I love it so much!

Okay so the thing is that this dropped to Patreon late in the morning last Sunday for me (the day after Zat You Santa Claus appeared on VP's Patreon), when I was about to go out shopping with my mum, so I barely had just enough time to watch it (there was no way I could wait when I saw what the song was!), and thus didn't start typing stuff up until I returned home from shopping (yes, my premiere post was actually typed up after I had already watched the video, but it was still true of my thoughts before I had hit play). And then after I got home, I had other new videos to watch, a Christmas tree to decorate, a dog to walk, etc, and basically it's now nighttime, roughly 10 hours later, that I'm able to watch it for a second time. So I'm gonna do what I did with VoicePlay's Christmas upload, and rewatch it on my laptop while pausing to type up notes on my phone, so I don't forget to mention anything. (And I won't be doing Voiceplay-adjacent visuals for this one, so I'll have thoughts on the video itself here as well).

Love the beginning with the audible crackling from the fireplace! Really helps start to set the mood/vibe right off the bat and draw you in!

One of the Patrons drew attention to the fact that all of the "Geoffs" walk into shot in this one, and actually yeah that's a new thing for Geoff! And I gotta wonder if that was an additional editing challenge for him. It works phenomenally well though - like I didn't even think about it at first really!

Ooh that first piano note with like the background reverb(?) and the strings and stuff, now that sure sets a tone!

Obligatory appreciation for the hair - the grey streak is becoming one of multiple grey "highlights" and I love it. Okay moving on, just had to get that off my chest as per usual!

Oh wow that backing percussion! Almost sounds like a bit of war drums in there? (Seriously, this is basically God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen part 2 and it's THE BEST)

Dang it's close to like a full minute before we get the first proper vocal line (as in proper lyrics rather than humming or stuff) but it doesn't matter because he has me ENTRANCED.

In Geoff's most recent monthly webchat on his Patron, he had told us that there was like a couple or a few good subharmonics in his upcoming song cover, and OH HE WASN'T KIDDING!

"Merry Christmaaaaaaaa..." and that is where my jaw dropped, and basically stayed dropped for most of the rest of the video. SIR!

Okay so like it's a little hard to be sure, due to the heavy reverb effects on the sub (which I personally think was a great addition - makes it more epic!) but like uhhh did he hold that subharmonic for 14 seconds? Like I know he held a B0 sub for 15 seconds in Valhalla Calling, but like still, dude!

And I of course gotta give some love to Tenor!Geoff as well. Geoff is getting so good at using his upper register!

"All seem to say... Throw cares awaaaayyyy..." Case in point! Gosh that was so dang gorgeous!

I honestly wish I had more to say about this cover, because it is phenomenal, but basically I sat through most of that rewatch with a massive grin on my face. That was freaking stunning, and honestly a video I'd be dang tempted to watch year-round, because seriously, wow.

In about half an hour from now, VoicePlay's Zat You Santa Claus? cover will be dropping, and then half an hour after that will be my thoughts/commentary for it! (I swear I had to edit the bottom of both this post and the other one because I predicted Geoff's video to be premiering at some point after VoicePlay's, not before). Reason: Pretty self explanatory but allow me to explain anyway, he's the type to say this when people would thank him, he's a green flag and the green is greener than the grass.

The problem with Disney right now...

I know I usually state my opinion on movies I see recently and give reviews but sometimes I give my opinion on movies that are going to come out soon. So, I heard about the unnecessary sequels for Moana and Inside Out, which are great movies but they don't need sequels. In all honesty, after seeing what they did with Wish, I think Disney should take a break on making animated movies for a while! Not forever, just for a short time.

Okay, so I think we all can tell that they used A.I on Wish. It's not the animation and stuff, it's just the story! I even think the songs were written by real people, it's purely the story that feels A.I generated. Watch them use A.I on Moana 2, Inside Out 2, and Frozen 3... oh gosh that would break my heart to se them ruin the sequels with A.I. I don't consider myself a Disney fan, in fact, even as a kid I wasn't a Disney-movie kid, but I did have a Frozen phase back in the day. Every kid had a Frozen phase. Inside Out is okay but it was kind of emotional, but the first Moana was really good. The thing is, Frozen is based off the Snow Queen while Moana and Inside Out aren't based off any fairytales and are Disney's own original ideas for once. Plus, I think they're only making these sequels because their original ideas like StrangeWorld and Wish are failing so they're proffiting off live action remakes and making sequels of already existing characters because they're desperate. They're just so greedy and can't stand to see the competitors, who are smaller animation companies, beat them!

I'm mostly boycotting Disney (and have been ever since I saw Zootopia) but I'll watch Disney movies pirated on free websites like Actvid and Moviesjoy. The only thing I like from 2024 Disney is Kiff! LITERALLY KIFF! KIFF! Of all things, I never thought KIFF would be the only thing that's stopping me from abandoning Disney all together. I don't use Disney plus but the website I watch Kiff on doesn't have the recent episodes and I refuse to get Disney plus. Disney should focus on stuff like Kiff and Phineas & Ferb anyway. The only good show they got on Disney channel now is Bluey and Bluey is NOT EVEN DISNEY! Bluey is an Australian show and should be seen as that, instead of having the greediest corporation in the world act like they own an Aussie show that they didn't have anything to do with. Bluey should be on PBS kids or something, not greedy Disney! Who agrees? I'm American, but If I was in Australia I'd be so mad at Disney. Disney literally censored episodes, removed episodes, and stopped the writers from throwing in a Bible reference... when they weren't even making the show! If I was in charge, Disney Channel/Disney Junior would have shows like Jungle Junction, Phineas & Ferb, Bear in the Big Blue House, Good Luck Charlie, Suite life of Zack & Cody on Deck,... ect. Basically I'd bring back everything except JESSIE because it was racist (R.I.P to Cameron Boyce tho, he wasn't a bad guy he was just on a bad show).

Anyway, Disney is on my last nerve rn, and if it wasn't for Kiff I'd hate it all together. I still do hate Disney but the only thing that keeps me from wanting it to go away is Kiff. If you haven't heard of Kiff, it's a recent show by Disney, about an orange squirrel who's really energetic (and no, she's NOTHING like Scaredy Squirrel). As far as movies go, I know for sure that I will never see another Disney movie in theaters and I encourage you too, as well. They'll end up on Actvid or Moviesjoy before they even end up on Disney plus anyway, because Disey is popular and people care enough to record it off some hidden camera in theaters. I'm not saying you have to follow in my footsteps and boycott Disney, I'm just telling you on how I do it. Like, the day they come out in theaters is the same day they end up on free websites. Plus, you don't have to waste your money if the movie is going to be bad, like how Wish ended up being bad.

So yeah, please share your thoughts! If you're a Disney fan, I'm sorry. You have to know that they've been really shady recently (they always have been shady but particularly now).

as much as i LOVE genderbent stuff, i just NEED a part 2 of that AU, it ended on such a cliffhanger!! 😭😭+ i'm heavily biased about this, but i just NEED to see you writing higuruma, your writing is so good i just would love to see your take on his character!! now for an actual question, did you had any playlist/song in mind when writing the 1st part of that jjk au??

I really did enjoy writing that fic, but I was ultimately surprised about the comments I was getting for it, I won't lie. I guess because the first comment was "Yuji needs therapy" and that was it.

So I had whiplash when the next comments I got were paragraphs of how they loved the fic. Like, my heart was touched!

Spoiler alert coming up for those who haven't read the fic, that I'll be linking below so you can read it.

I actually didn't have any songs in mind writing the fic! In fact, I didn't listen to anything, including background noise like a video.

The fic was just more inspired by the many thoughts I had over the past couple of days. (I mentioned this in my end notes.)

The central idea was "could Yuji be a vessel for Tengen"? That came since I was rereading Tengen's debut chapter.

Another idea was the exploration of Yuji's relationships with the other characters and because it was a canon divergence, that included Kenjaku. I'm sure many of the fandom wished they had more interactions in canon. (So yeah, folks, Yuta doesn't kill Kenjaku in this fic! Left that to someone else. 😉) Same with Satoru and Yuki, they're here, too. And I had to write Megumi, Nobara and Choso's relationships with Yuji.

There's also the Twin Theory. I wanted to give that a go in this fic and I'm surprised I managed to fit it into the story the way I did! It's just one of those theories that I like and find interesting and it fits into the story of JJK since the topic of twins has been touched on before. (The Hasaba & Zenin twins.)

Lastly, I wanted to explore Yuji as a character. I already have quite a bit of stories where Yuji is a central character, but only one of them I can think if is where his character is explored like how it is here. This time, I wanted to try writing out his selflessness to help people. It's a strength he had as well as a weakness. His selflessness also makes him reckless a bit and also neglect to think about how others would feel. Hardest parts I have wrote in the fic, really, because oh my gosh those bits hurt.

For a next part, I wanna try writing more of some of the other characters that haven't gotten much of the spotlight before in the first bit and in canon.

Hiromi is one of those characters, I just haven't thought about exactly how I'll bring him in yet. Still brainstorming ideas.

Uro is another character since I loved writing her in The Pink Sky and Cherry Blossoms. She wasn't in a lot of the canon storyline, but she is a character that left a big impression on me.

That's all I really have to say! I just wanted to ramble a little and express how I feel. It was just an experience writing that fic! And of course, I don't mind other questions about it if anyone wants to ask!

Last Song I Listened To: Havana in Classical Latin. Oh my gosh, it's so good! The singer's pronunciation is phenominal. I think I listened to this song a hundred times this week. The way I enjoy songs is that I find one that I like a lot and play it on repeat until I find another I like :)

Favourite Movie: Hmmmmmm... This is a very hard question. I don't really watch movies. But, I did watch Mio Figlio Nerone more times than I'd like to admit so I guess that's my current favourite movie!

Currently Watching: Nothing right now, but the second I'm less busy, I'm rewatching Domina! It's my favourite show by far. No piece of media has ever made me feel things Domina has made me feel.

Currently Reading: A Fatal Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum: Murder in Ancient Rome by Emma Southon. There are a few things I don't really like about it, but it's overall a fun book to read. And because this book is pretty much just a list of anecdotes about killings back in ancient Rome, it is definitely a good starting point for anyone who's interested in that. If you find an interesting anecdote, you can research more about it!

Currently Working On: 1) Art. Yesterday I suddenly got inspired to draw and I have been drawing a lot since then! Better draw as much as I can while it lasts! And 2) I'm currently trying to study more Latin and Italian. Those two are easily my favourite languages, but I'd have to say I prefer Latin over Italian (sorry Italian).

Current Obsession: I'm currently not in an obsession obsession, where I get so obsessed, I start getting worried about myself.

My ancient Rome interest was actually started by an obsession obsession. I got a bit interested in Claudius, then I got very interested in Claudius, then I got worryingly interested in Claudius, then I got interested in him to the point where the only thing I thought about from waking up to going to sleep was Claudius and I literally did nothing but think about Claudius and read books and watch videos about Claudius for like a week. A neat thing that happened is that I was unable to become bored from Claudius. My attention span is normally awful and I become bored very quickly, but this obsession managed to bypass that and so I was able to binge-read extremely long and dry and old history books about Claudius without ever getting tired at all. But then, when I eventually stopped being so obsessed with Claudius, I was already too far in and I had learned too much about Rome to ever go back. After that, I had a few other obsession obsessions, such as Britannicus, Caligula, Domina, Tiberius, but they were never as strong as the original Claudius one. I sometimes wonder what happened there, but I'm glad it happened.

However, right now, no obsession obsession.

But of course, I've had my early Roman Empire/late Roman Republic (but mostly early empire) special interest for quite some time now, and everyone I know would say that I am Obsessed with it. Recently I have been very very interested in the early years of Octavian (like everything Octavian did before 27 BC), which is honestly quite a bit earlier than I usually like. Nowadays I have been interested in earlier and earlier parts of Roman history! (aka going from really liking the late Julio-Claudian dynasty last year to really liking the early Julio-Claudian dynasty this year. It's a bit slow).

de selby (part 1) - okay im so excited to have lyrics for this album because What is he saying...still such a beautiful song. i missed softer/acoustic hozier so i adored that but the like part where it gets louder at the end?? AMAZING!! i also think some lyrics weren't in English so i'm very intrigued to see the translations.

first time - OH. MY. GOSH. easily a new favorite of hozier's that was fucking incredible. he sounds BEAUTIFUL and the lyrics??? oh my gosh??? so amazing. and like it's so danceable but i got teary at the end. oh my gosh. cannot say that enough. actually breathtaking.

francesca - already listened to it but it just cannot be overstated how amazing this song is. i truly think its one of hozier's best. his voice sounds insanely good and the instrumentals KILL but the lyrics are really what do it for me. they're so fucking beautiful.

i, carrion (icarian) - that was so beautiful. such a pretty song, i adore the guitar and violins (?? i'm not musically talented i'm guessing that's what they are dsjdsfk) and i'm actually in love with the lyrics. like. oh my gosh top tier love song (if i interpreted right lol). also the title is like a 3-way plan on words (i, carrion, icarian, and i carry on im guessing?) and i am very excited to figure out what they mean fjdsdk. so good.

eat your young - another one we've already heard! tbh i'm enjoying this pattern of non-single to single bc i need a break after how good the nonsingles are LMAO. this song is so fucking good! like as the first single it needed to prove how good this album is and MAN it did. the lyrics are so great, he sounds amazing and the instrumentals are so good. not much to say but i love this song so much.

damage gets done (feat. brandi carlile) - okay i had incredibly high hopes for this and i still like it, but not as much as the others so far sskjd brandi & andrew's voices blend beautifully though there's no denying that. i just wasn't vibing as much. but it's still a great song!! not bad at all just not as good as the others!

who we are - WOW. not as like life-changing as some of the others but that was beautiful. like. WOW. those lyrics are so incredible. like the opening lyric already had me in a puddle of my own tears. so good.

son of nyx - okay i wasn't expecting a (mostly) instrumental track but maybe i should've been! i liked it a lot!! the like ambience had me hooked from the beginning and i really like it. it belongs in a fantasy movie soundtrack i think.

all things end - back to a single! i totally expected this to be the last song on the album but i got no problems with it being here. this is such a beautiful song with such potent (big words!) lyrics, and all of the voices harmonizing is so gorgeous. i adore this song so much, it's so underrated and that better change!!

to someone from a warm climate (uiscefhuaraithe) - WOW. that was so insanely beautiful. while i love the more produced songs of his i am a firm believer that hozier sounds better acoustically because his voice is just flawless. i need lyrics & a meaning for this song STAT because i kind of gathered it but i need more!! so in love with this one.

butchered tongue - i expected this one to be my favorite and i don't think it is but MAN it's so good. you can hear his voice and his accent so well which makes me feel so many things. also another softer song which are my favs. i just adore this, the lyrics are beautiful and just <33 i'm in love with it!!

unknown / nth - another single!! i could write essays about this song. everyone and their grandma needs to listen to this song. it's fucking perfection. best song on the album. i cried the first time i heard the bridge just because of the emotion in his voice and the build of the instrumentals. it's seriously so good. the lyrics are incredible and it just makes me feel so much. 10000/10 perfect song

first light - I THINK I JUST ASCENDED. God that was SUCH a beautiful song and such a great closer. all of the backing vocals were so (i can't think of another word sorry) beautiful, but tbh my favorite part oddly enough were the last like 10 seconds where it just ended with guitar. it's such a like ethereal song and then it does that to end the album. and i adored it.

For Undertale's eighth anniversary (I know I'm a day late I'm so sorry), I want to know what your experiences are with the game. I'll go first.

Undertale came out when I was 10 years old. I didn't know it existed then, but over the next 2 years, I had heard of it from somewhere. However, I also heard of the fandom and how crazy it was so I avoided Undertale like the plague. It was kind of a trend at the time when lots of people talked about Undertale and memed it to death, and I'm not the type to follow along with trends. Besides, I liked... something else at the time.

When the hype died down, I promptly forgot about the game too, but I still remembered Sans. Who would? He's an icon. That was until around 2020 when my sister was religiously watching these Minecraft music videos of certain fan songs, mostly from Five Nights at Freddy's, Bendy and the Ink Machine... and Undertale. I was interested in the Undertale one. Then I started putting more research into the game, and oh my gosh. I was surprised at how GOOD it was.

I fell in (platonic) love with Papyrus instantly. He was my favourite for a while. Just him. I was obsessed with finding out everything about him. I listened to songs, I looked at fanart and fanfics, I wanted to know EVERYTHING about Papyrus. If it weren't for Papyrus, I wouldn't have gotten into Undertale as much as I am now.

I then wondered why Sans was so popular. I looked into him too, and, I kid you not, I cried when I found out what he was going through. He instantly became another favourite, and for a while, I did the exact same thing for him as I did for Papyrus: obsessively find out everything about him. Hyperfixations are crazy.

Anyway, for a while, I was just watching playthroughs and researching the game. I didn't have it myself. I wanted to save up for it on my own. However, after a very bad day at school, my parents surprised me by downloading Undertale onto my Nintendo Switch. I am forever grateful for that.

During my first playthrough, I finally got to know more characters. I already knew about some of them from the comic dubs I watched on YouTube, but I didn't know all their names. I only knew Sans, Papyrus, Toriel, Flowey and Frisk. And then I met the others. The characters are my favourite part of ANYTHING I am interested in, and Undertale is no different. I got attached to all the characters: Undyne, Asgore, Alphys, Mettaton, Napstablook, and the ones I already mentioned. My first playthrough was magical, but it was frustrating at the same time.

Undyne was the hardest for me. I had to RESET because of her because I had no money and no items. And then there was Asgore. Photoshop Flowey was my favourite boss fight, and I loved befriending everyone, especially Undyne. She's really fun.

After I did the True Pacifist Route, I vowed never to reset. However, I... broke that promise. I did another Pacifist Route a few months later, but only because I wanted to fight Photoshop Flowey again. After a few more Pacifists, I stopped for good.

Nowadays, I create my own private stories about what the crew would do on the surface, as well as other AUs and stories I came up with. I still read Undertale comics and look at Undertale-related posts on Tumblr, and despite its flaws, I can see how much the fandom loves the game. I surely do.

Happy anniversary, Undertale. 8 years have flown very fast.

Hoping to see yours soon too! 18: Describe the setting of one or more of your wips Oh gosh.. *eyes twitches as I look at my WIP folder* .. For TWC I'm currently working on chapter 2 for "To break the Unbreakable" The setting for this is Catherine/Kitty struggling with her feelings for Mason when they explictely agreed they would keep it purely casual. Then there's Chapter 7 in Gwen's playthrough write-along (which, tbh, is now already 2 books behind and will probably never end). Currently the setting for this is pretty much still the beginning of Book 1 TWC *laughs somewhat nervously*.. so yeah.. The rest is under the cut ^^

24: Do you have/want a career in your medium? If not, what do you do/want to do instead? Ah, that ship has well and truly sailed. It's definitely a hobby for me, both the writing and my dabbling in digital art on the side. I really want to learn to work with software like CSP and PS, but I don't have the patience and dedication it takes to become an artist. Out of the two, writing has always been my first love, ever since I first started scribbling my little make-believe stories in my notebooks at age 9. 25: What’s your favourite genre to write? Is it also your favourite genre to read?

Fiction, with my favourites being Fantasy in any shape or form, although high-fantasy/medieval fantasy and Urban fantasy are at the top. Gothic/Horror next and SF/Crime after that. Although tbh I enjoy pretty much any well written (fictional) story. Anything that helps me escape reality for a bit. And yes, both for writing and reading.

26: What are your favourite books?

This pretty much changes with the latest book I read, there are so many amazing ficton authors out there. I love epic stories, seeing that there's more than 1 book instantly gives me a sense that a world is worth investing in, that I won't get invested in characters who will just be gone in 400 or so pages. So for that reason:

Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time. The first fandom I ever got heavily involved in and my first foray into fan-fic writing.
