oh shit ok. heres the timeline. ive talked before abt alex being scene (hot topic hornets) or just having had a scene phase in the past (any version of mh ever especially canon, i will not back down on this) and has an abundance of kandi bracelets. alex befriends/starts dating brian and does the PLUR kandi trade handshake with him. brian is really fucking confused. hoody, however, once he fronts and gets why their wrist is covered in colorful bracelets all of a sudden, gets REALLY FUCKIN INTO IT and does the trade with masky. masky and hoody have Become Scene. full circle
