The talk
Hugh Jackman x reader (actress)
Previous Part
A/N: Enjoy this part 3! I hope you like it! In this story, Blake and Ryan have been married since 2010 and therefore had their children earlier. I changed the age of the children to make it fit.
Warnings: maybe some swearing here and there, a bit angsty and fluff, mentions of alcohol
---------------------------------------------------
I couldn’t sleep last night. I’d been tossing and turning for hours, staring at the digital clock that blinked back at me relentlessly. When 6 a.m. finally rolled around, I gave up, threw back the covers, and dragged myself out of bed. I needed something to ground me, to keep my mind from spiraling, so I rolled out my yoga mat in front of the massive window that looked out over the New York skyline. The city was still half-asleep, but I could already feel its energy buzzing in the distance.
After a quick, but calming, yoga session, I snapped a selfie. I sat on the mat in my sports bra and leggings, my hair a messy bun, and the sunrise just starting to peek through the buildings behind me. My face looked peaceful, but inside, my stomach was a knot of nerves. Still, I posted it on Instagram, hoping the positivity from my followers might lift me a bit.
Within minutes, comments flooded in. Mostly love and support, people saying how they wished they could be as dedicated to early morning yoga as I was. But some of them worried about me. There were a few messages asking if I was okay, mentioning the paparazzi photos of yesterday. Apparently, walking through the city with Blake after the premiere turned into a full-on hangover spectacle, and people noticed. They always notice everything.
I sighed and decided to call Blake.
“Heyyy!” she greeted cheerfully, her voice always so full of life.
“Hey, Blake!"I replied, trying to sound less anxious than I felt.
I hesitated. I didn’t really want to unload on her again.
“I, uh, I’ve got Hugh coming over soon. I… I don’t know, I’m kinda nervous about it. We need to talk, and I just—I don’t know how it’s going to go.”
I heard in her voice that she was smiling. “Listen, you and Hugh will be fine. He’s a great guy. If he didn’t care about you, he wouldn’t be flirting with you so much in public. Trust me, I’ve known him for years—he doesn’t do that unless he means it.”
I bit my lip, feeling my anxiety twist and turn. “But what if… ahh.. nevermind. I’m just so confused.”
“That’s okay. As I already told you, you don’t have to figure it all out in one day. Just talk to him, be honest, and see where it goes. You’ve got this.”
Her words helped, if only a little. I thanked her, and after hanging up, I busied myself around the apartment, waiting for the knock on the door.
When it finally came, I almost jumped out of my skin. I opened the door to find Hugh standing there with a bag of bagels in one hand and two coffees in the other.
“Good morning. I brought us breakfast." he said with that charming smile of his.
We exchanged small talk as we sat down at the kitchen counter, nibbling on our food. He complimented the view, asked about my morning, and I tried to stay calm, but the tension between us was impossible to ignore. Finally, after what felt like an eternity of dancing around the subject, I took a deep breath and started the conversation I’d been dreading.
“Hugh,” I began softly, setting my half-eaten bagel down. “I don’t… I don’t know what I’m feeling. About us, I mean.”
He nodded slowly, looking at me with that warm, steady gaze that always seemed to calm me, even when I was a mess inside.
“I like you, y/n. A lot. And I’m not asking you to have all the answers right now. But I’d like to figure it out together if that’s something you want to.”
My chest tightened. “But the age thing… your kids… Hugh, it’s a lot. I don’t know if I’m ready for something so complicated.”
Hugh leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful look crossing his face. “I’ve already talked to my son about it, actually. Oscar asked me about you, and I told him the truth—that I’m happy when I’m with you. And he said that as long as I’m happy, that’s all that matters to him. Ava feels the same way, I’m sure.”
I felt tears pricking the corners of my eyes. The relief I felt, knowing that he’d already had that conversation with his son, was overwhelming. But at the same time, the weight of everything else crashed over me, and I couldn’t hold back the tears any longer.
“I’m sorry,” I whispered, wiping at my eyes as the tears fell.
Hugh got up and pulled me up from the chair so that I stood in front of him. His arms wrapped me in a soft hug, and his fingers tilted my chin up slightly so he could kiss the tip of my nose. It was a soft, sweet gesture that made my heart skip.
“Hey, it’s okay,” he murmured. “We’ll take it slow. One step at a time. We don’t need to rush anything.”
I nodded, sniffling a bit. “Slow sounds good. Maybe we could… you know, go on real dates? But keep things quiet for now.”
He smiled again, his eyes twinkling with amusement. “Yeah, Blake and Ryan can know, but no one else. At least for now.”
We finished breakfast and cleaned up, and soon we found ourselves on the couch. Hugh wrapped his arm around me, pulling me close. For a while, we just sat there, the silence comforting, our worries temporarily pushed to the side.
I couldn’t help myself. I had to ask. “Did you… did you mean it? That kiss in the gym?”
Hugh chuckled, glancing down at me with that familiar playful spark in his eyes. “Was that not obvious?”
I felt my face heat up, a slow blush spreading across my cheeks. I shrugged, trying to play it off, but the vulnerability in my voice betrayed me. “I had other things on my mind.”
He laughed softly, the sound warm and infectious, and I found myself smiling despite the butterflies in my stomach. There was something so disarming about him, the way he could make me feel at ease even when my heart was racing. His gaze held mine, the tension between us thickening, and suddenly, I couldn’t resist any longer.
Without thinking, I leaned in, brushing my lips against his. It was tentative at first, as if testing the waters, but the moment he responded, everything else faded away. His lips were soft and warm, moving gently against mine, and the kiss quickly deepened, growing more intense with each passing second.
My heart pounded in my chest, the heat between us rising as my hands found their way to his shoulders, gripping them tightly. Hugh’s arms circled my waist, pulling me closer until I was practically sitting on his lap. His hands were firm yet tender, one resting on the small of my back, the other moving up to cradle the side of my face as the kiss continued to build in intensity.
I felt my breath hitch as his lips trailed from mine to the corner of my mouth, then along my jawline, his stubble grazing my skin in the most delicious way. My pulse quickened as I let out a soft sigh, my fingers tangling in his short, soft hair. The sensation of his lips on my neck sent shivers down my spine, my entire body humming with anticipation.
Hugh's hand slid down to my back, pulling me closer to him. I could feel the heat radiating off him, the hard lines of his body pressing against mine, and it sent my mind spinning. His touch was gentle but sure, his fingers tracing small circles on my lower back, grounding me even as everything else felt like it was spinning out of control.
His mouth returned to mine, the kiss now slow and deliberate, as if we had all the time in the world. His tongue teased my lips, and I opened up to him, the kiss deepening as our breaths mingled, the air between us growing hotter. Every nerve in my body was on fire, the warmth of his touch, the weight of his hands, the way he held me, as if I were something precious. I felt safe and reckless all at once, the thrill of being so close to him coursing through me like electricity.
Hugh’s grip tightened on my waist, his hands sliding down to my hips, and I could feel the heat pooling low in my stomach, a heady mix of desire and disbelief that this was actually happening. His lips parted from mine just long enough for me to catch a shaky breath, my eyes fluttering open to meet his. His gaze was dark, intense, and filled with the same want that was swirling inside me.
I couldn’t stop myself. I leaned back in, kissing him with more urgency this time, my hands slipping from his shoulders to his chest, feeling the steady rise and fall of his breathing beneath my fingertips. His body was firm under my touch, and the sensation sent another rush of heat through me. I pressed closer to him, my lips hungry for more, and he responded in kind, his hands roaming over my back.
My pulse raced, and I felt the world narrowing down to just the two of us—the heat of our bodies, the taste of his lips, the way his hands moved over me, every touch igniting something deeper, something I couldn’t control.
Then, out of nowhere, his phone buzzed.
We both froze, breathless, still tangled together. I pulled back just slightly, still feeling the heat of his breath on my lips. "You should get that," I whispered, my voice barely above a whisper, my heart pounding in my ears.
Hugh let out a low groan of frustration but reluctantly reached for his phone. He glanced at the screen and sighed. “It’s Ryan.”
I smirked, trying to catch my breath. Of course, it was Ryan.
Hugh answered, still holding me close as if he wasn’t ready to let go just yet. “Hey, mate.” he greeted casually, though I could hear the slight edge of impatience in his voice.
Ryan’s voice was loud enough that I could hear him through the phone. “So, dinner at our place today? You and y/n should come by.”
Hugh blinked in surprise, clearly caught off guard. “How do you know y/n's with me?”
Ryan’s laugh was almost smug. “Call it a hunch.”
Hugh shook his head, glancing at me with a playful smile. “You in?”
I nodded, still a bit breathless, my fingers absentmindedly playing with the fabric of his t-shirt. “Sure.”
He confirmed with Ryan and then hung up, looking back at me with a soft smile. “Let’s go for a walk before dinner.”
I grinned. The idea of sneaking through the streets with him was somehow exciting. But then reality hit. “You should probably… go get changed." I suggested, glancing down at the clothes he was wearing. "Something more undercover."
Hugh nodded, gently setting me next to him and standing up. "I'll swing by my place and change. Give me a few minutes, and I'll come back for you."
He pressed one more quick kiss to my forehead before heading out the door, leaving me sitting there, my heart still racing from the kiss. I wrapped my arms around myself, trying to calm the fire that was still burning inside me. It was impossible to believe that just a few moments ago, I had been straddling Hugh Jackman in my living room, kissing him like my life depended on it.
True to his word, Hugh returned not long after, dressed down in a baseball cap, sunglasses, and a hoodie, looking like a celebrity who's trying to avoid attention. I slipped on a casual jacket and sunglasses, and we headed out, blending into the afternoon crowds as we walked through the streets of New York.
As we wandered, the conversation flowed easily. We talked about work—how his latest project was going, how I was handling mine. We shared stories and joked about the craziness of the industry, but somewhere along the way, the conversation grew more personal. Hugh asked me about my childhood, about the things that made me who I was, and I found myself opening up to him in a way I hadn’t expected.
He told me stories about his kids, about how Oscar was so curious about everything, how Ava was growing into her own person, full of ideas and opinions. Hearing him talk about them made me see another side of him—so caring, so deeply connected to his family. It only made me like him more.
We asked each other questions that weren’t surface level, diving into the things that really mattered, like what we wanted in life, what we were afraid of. The more we talked, the more I realized again how easy it was to be with him, how natural it felt.
Before I knew it, hours had passed, and the sun was beginning to dip low in the sky. We made our way back to my apartment, where Hugh dropped me off so I could get ready for dinner at Blake and Ryan’s. He gave me one short peck before heading back to his place to change.
As I stood in front of my mirror, touching up my makeup and fixing my hair, I couldn’t stop thinking about the kiss, about how right it had felt. Today had been full of surprises, but for the first time, I wasn’t scared of where this might lead. Hugh and I were taking it slow, figuring things out as we went, and somehow, that was enough for now.
When Hugh came back to pick me up, we were both ready for whatever the rest of the day had in store. We were in this together.
The moment we stepped through the door at Blake and Ryan’s, the familiar sound of tiny feet pattering across the floor reached my ears. Before I knew it, all three of their daughters—James, Betty, and Inez—came running toward us, their faces lighting up in excitement.
“Y/n! Hugh!” they squealed in unison, their voices high-pitched with joy.
I couldn’t help but grin as I bent down to greet them, enveloping each one of them in a warm hug. Hugh followed suit, gently embracing them, his face soft with affection. Ryan stood in the doorway, arms crossed with a playful smile on his face.
“I swear, they get more excited when you two show up than when Blake and I come home." Ryan quipped, shaking his head as if the betrayal was real.
I chuckled, ruffling Betty’s hair as she beamed up at me. “Well, I mean, we are the fun ones.”
Blake walked up behind him, smirking as she shrugged her shoulders. “Can you really blame them?” she said, giving Ryan a teasing nudge.
Before I could respond, the seven-year-old James grabbed my hand and started pulling me toward the living room. “Come on, y/n! I want to show you something!”
I let her guide me into the cozy room, where Penny and Baxter, the two dogs, were lounging lazily on the floor. James hurried over to a corner piled high with toys and grabbed two Barbie dolls, her excitement radiating off her.
“Look!” she said, holding up the first Barbie. “This one looks just like you!” The doll was dressed in sporty clothes that reminded me of what I’d worn in my recent Instagram post. “And this one." she added, grabbing the second doll, “looks like Mommy.”
I laughed softly, touched by her creativity. “Wow, you nailed it! I can totally see the resemblance.”
As I sat down with her to admire her Barbie collection, I noticed Hugh standing in the doorway, his smile widening as he watched us. But before he could come over, Betty and Inez had already ambushed him, grabbing onto his legs and giggling uncontrollably.
“Hugh! Hugh!” Inez exclaimed, her arms wrapped tightly around one of his legs. “Can we watch the Minions again? Please? Pleeease?”
Betty chimed in, nodding with equal enthusiasm. “Yeah, can we?”
Ryan strolled into the room, laughing as he leaned against the doorframe. “Again? How many times have you guys watched that now? Fifty? Sixty?”
Hugh chuckled, ruffling Betty’s hair. “Maybe after dinner, alright? You two might know it better than I do at this point.”
Just then, Blake called out from the dining room, “Okay, everyone, dinner’s ready! Let’s give Hugh a break and get some food in your bellies first.”
We all made our way to the dining room, and as I sat down at the beautifully set table, I couldn’t help but admire the spread. Blake had outdone herself again.
“This looks incredible!" I commented as I took my seat, glancing appreciatively at the dishes laid out before us.
Blake smiled, waving off the compliment. “Ah, it’s nothing. Ryan helped, too.”
Ryan straightened in his chair, pretending to be the world’s greatest chef. “Yeah, I practically made the entire thing,” he boasted, earning a playful elbow to the side from Blake.
While we ate and talked about today's events, I noticed that James, Betty, and Inez had already finished their meals. The three of them looked up at Blake and Ryan with wide, pleading eyes.
"Mom, Dad, can we go play with Penny and Baxter now? Please?" James asked, practically bouncing in her seat with excitement.
Ryan exchanged a glance with Blake before nodding. "Alright, you three can go. Just don’t feed the dogs under the table again." he added with a mock sternness that made the girls giggle.
The kids squealed and scrambled out of their chairs, racing back toward the living room where the dogs were waiting for them. Blake shook her head fondly as she watched them go, and we all settled back into the conversation.
I was right in the middle of talking about something funny that had happened at work when my phone buzzed in my pocket. I excused myself, stepping outside to take the call. When I saw Chris Evans’ name on the screen, I smiled.
“Hey, Chris!” I greeted, leaning against the side of the house.
“Y/n!" Chris’s voice came through with its usual warmth. “I’m heading down to New York tomorrow. Wanna grab a beer?”
I smiled. “Absolutely! Let’s meet at the pub we always go to. How’s 7 p.m.?”
“Perfect!" Chris replied. “Looking forward to catching up.”
We wrapped up the conversation, and I headed back inside. As I slipped into my seat, Hugh gave me a gentle smile and placed his hand on my leg under the table, his touch grounding me.
“Everything okay?” he asked softly, his thumb stroking my thigh in a way that sent a small wave of comfort through me.
I nodded, returning his smile. “Yeah, all good. Just Chris Evans. He’s coming to New York tomorrow, so we’re grabbing a drink.”
Ryan’s ears perked up immediately, and his eyes twinkled with mischief. “Oh, Captain America, huh? Should Hugh be worried?”
Blake chuckled beside him, clearly in on the joke. I rolled my eyes, laughing. “No, no need to worry. Chris is like an older brother to me.”
Hugh looked intrigued, glancing between Ryan and me. “You and Chris go way back?”
I nodded, leaning back in my chair as I began to explain. “Yeah, Chris, Scarlett Johansson, and I studied together in New York when we were both starting out. They were a few years ahead of me, but we ended up in the same acting workshops. We hit it off and became good friends.”
Blake leaned forward, curiosity written all over her face. “Oh, you never told me your stories of university! You must have some great ones.”
Ryan grinned. “Come on, spill! Any embarrassing moments with Captain America and Black Widow?”
I laughed. “Oh, tons. Like the time they got lost in Central Park for two hours and missed class. Scarlett shook it off, but Chris was so mortified, and we all gave him a hard time for it.”
Ryan cracked up at the image, and Hugh smiled, though I could tell he was focused on every word. “That sounds like him." Ryan said. “Always such a big goof.”
Blake leaned closer, clearly digging for more. “Didn’t you two do a movie together a few years back? Weren’t there some pretty steamy scenes in that one?”
I felt my cheeks warm slightly at the memory. “Yeah, we did." I admitted, chuckling. “It was a bit... awkward, though, because by then, Chris really did feel more like a brother to me.”
Ryan, however, wasn’t about to let me off the hook that easily. “Wait, so it wasn’t always that way?”
I hesitated for a beat, then shrugged, smiling sheepishly. “Well.. back when we were in school, we might’ve had a little... thing. You know, one of those fleeting ‘we’re young and in New York’ flings. But it didn’t last long. Now, he’s definitely more of a brother figure.”
Blake’s eyes widened in shock, her hand flying to her mouth as she burst out laughing. “Y/n! You never told me you and Chris had a fling!”
Ryan nearly doubled over in laughter, slapping the table. “Oh my god, Hugh, you hearing this? Captain America and y/n!”
Hugh laughed, though it didn’t quite reach his eyes, and I noticed the slight tension in his jaw. He gave a half-hearted chuckle, glancing at me with a mix of amusement and something else—something I couldn’t quite place.
Blake continued to laugh, shaking her head. “I can’t believe you kept that from me!”
I shrugged, feeling a little embarrassed but laughing along with them. “It was a long time ago! And honestly, when we filmed that movie, it just felt... weird. I mean, trying to be sexy with someone who you now see as a brother? Not the easiest thing.”
Ryan wiped a tear from his eye, still chuckling. “I bet those scenes were really uncomfortable to shoot.”
“They were." I admitted, rolling my eyes good-naturedly. “But Chris was a total professional about it.”
Hugh remained quiet for a moment, still smiling, but I could tell something about the story didn’t sit quite right with him.
“So, what was it like studying here in New York? It sounds like it was a pretty wild time.” Blake wiggled with her eyebrows.
I grinned, thinking back to those chaotic, exciting days. “It definitely had its moments. The city was also back then a constant whirlwind. We were all broke, doing odd jobs between auditions, but somehow, it was the best time of my life.”
Ryan leaned back in his chair, raising an eyebrow. “Oh, I bet. Was it all method acting and deep emotional discovery, or were you guys just trying to out-party each other?”
I laughed. “A little bit of both, honestly. There were definitely nights when we all showed up to class with way too little sleep.”
Ryan smirked, clearly enjoying himself. “And Captain America was part of those late-night adventures?”
I rolled my eyes. “Chris was usually the responsible one, believe it or not. He’d be the guy dragging everyone out of some dive bar at 2 a.m., telling us we had early classes. Of course, he wasn’t always that responsible...”
Hugh’s interest was piqued, his eyes twinkling. “You and Chris really went through it together, huh?”
I nodded, smiling at the memories. “Yeah, we had a lot of fun. We’d rehearse scenes together, mess around in the park, just being broke, and ambitious kids trying to make it.”
Ryan, never missing a beat, chimed in again. “So what you’re saying is, if Chris wasn’t Captain America, he could’ve been, I dunno, some Shakespearean actor, dragging everyone through intense rehearsals and then buying them all hot dogs afterward?”
I laughed. “Exactly! The perfect balance of intense and laid-back.”
"What other stories do you have up your sleeve?" Ryan grinned and put his arm around his wife.
“Well.. while studying, I also worked as a barista, and believe me, I was a terrible barista.” I started, chuckling at the memory.
Blake raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Wait, you worked at a coffee shop?”
I nodded. “Yeah, I needed to pay rent somehow, so I got a job at this little café near campus. It was my first day, and I was already a nervous wreck. The owner was this sweet, older man—kind of like a grandpa figure to everyone. But I was so jittery that when he came over to check how I was doing, I somehow managed to spill an entire tray of coffee and raspberry cake all over him.”
Everyone at the table burst into laughter, especially Ryan, who wiped a fake tear from his eye. “Oh, that’s priceless. What did he do?”
I grinned at the memory. “He just stood there for a second, covered in coffee, and then he started laughing. He looked at me and said, ‘Well, at least you didn’t burn me.’ From then on, he teased me about it every single shift. He’d walk past me and say, ‘Careful, y/n, hot beverages on the loose!’ It was actually really sweet.”
Blake smiled, shaking her head. “Sounds like he was a good guy.”
“Yeah, he was the best." I agreed. “Honestly, he was one of the reasons I stuck around for so long.”
Hugh, who had been listening intently, suddenly leaned forward with a small smile. “Well, since we’re sharing job stories… the ladies might not know this, but before I became an actor, I was a P.E. teacher in England.”
I blinked, caught completely off guard. “Wait, what? You were a teacher? That’s crazy!”
Ryan immediately jumped in with a wide grin. “Oh man, y/n, can you imagine if Hugh had been your teacher back then? You would’ve been the star student in P.E., right?”
I felt my cheeks flush, laughing at the absurd thought. “Honestly, if Hugh had been my teacher, I think I would’ve suddenly developed an intense love for sports.”
Blake burst out laughing while Hugh chuckled, shaking his head at our comments. “Yeah, I can’t imagine that would’ve been appropriate,” Hugh said, still smiling, though his ears were a little pink.
Ryan leaned back in his chair, still grinning. “Hey, you never know. Maybe you’d have inspired her to get into, I don’t know, gymnastics or something.”
Blake swatted Ryan on the arm, but she was laughing just as hard. “Leave them alone! Besides, I bet Hugh was an amazing teacher.”
Hugh shrugged modestly. “It was a good job, honestly. I loved working with the kids, but eventually, I realized my passion was acting.”
I turned to him, still amazed. “That’s so cool, though. I would’ve never guessed. You’ve had quite the journey.”
He smiled warmly at me, and I could see a glimmer of pride in his eyes, as if the memories of his teaching days still meant something to him. “It was definitely a unique chapter in my life. But hey, everything leads you somewhere, right?”
Ryan couldn’t resist one more joke, leaning in with a sly grin. “Yeah, and luckily, it led you to us, huh?”
The conversation slowed down after that, everyone quietly soaking in the warmth of the room and each other’s company. Blake glanced around the table, then clapped her hands together.
“Well, how about we clear the table and grab some wine?”
Hugh and I immediately stood up, ready to help, but Blake waved us off. “Oh no, you two relax. Ryan and I have it covered.”
Ryan was already stacking plates and giving us a wink. “Yeah, sit tight, lovebirds.”
As we sat back down, Hugh placed his hand gently on my thigh, his touch making me feel all warm and cozy inside. He smiled at me, that tender look in his eyes that always made my heart skip a beat.
Feeling a bit giddy, I leaned in closer to him and whispered. “Do you think we should tell them about us now? Or wait until another time?”
Hugh’s thumb rubbed small circles against my leg as he considered it. “Yeah, let’s tell them. They’re our best friends—they should know we’re giving this a shot.”
His quiet confidence soothed the last of my nerves, and I couldn’t help myself. I leaned in and gave him a quick kiss, just as the door to the dining room swung open, and Ryan strutted back in, carrying wine glasses.
“Ohohoh! What’s this? What did I just miss?” he teased, his voice dripping with mock shock. “And don’t forget, there are children in this house!”
Blake followed right behind him, her eyes darting between us, a curious smile playing on her lips. “What’s going on in here?” she asked, setting down a bottle of wine.
Hugh chuckled softly and glanced at me before addressing them both. “Actually, we wanted to tell you guys something. Y/n and I... well, we’re trying this thing out. We’re seeing where it goes.”
There was a brief moment of silence as Blake and Ryan exchanged looks, their expressions quickly morphing into wide grins. Blake let out a little squeal of excitement.
“Oh my god! You talked!" she exclaimed, clapping her hands together. “You two are adorable!”
Ryan set down the glasses with a loud clink, looking between Hugh and me with that signature playful grin of his. “Well, it’s about damn time! You guys have been giving off major will-they-won’t-they vibes for ages.”
Blake nodded enthusiastically. “I’m so happy for you guys.”
Their support and enthusiasm washed over me, easing any lingering uncertainty I had. Hugh squeezed my hand under the table, and I couldn’t help but smile up at him, grateful for how effortlessly everything seemed to fall into place.
Ryan, never one to miss a joke, raised his glass toward us. “Here’s to y/n and Hugh—and to all the future awkward family dinners where we can tease you both relentlessly.”
Blake snorted with laughter, pouring everyone a glass of wine. “Don’t worry, we’ll go easy on you. Sometimes.”
We all raised our glasses, clinking them together in a toast to new beginnings.
The conversation flowed easily as we all continued to drink our wine, sharing more stories and laughing until our glasses were empty. Eventually, we decided to join the kids in the living room. As soon as we walked in, Inez grabbed my hand, pulling me toward her pile of Barbies, while Penny and Baxter trotted over to greet us.
I sat on the floor with one hand helping Inez arrange her Barbies while my other hand stroked Baxter, who had curled up next to me. The rest of the group settled on the couches, chatting and laughing as the kids played around us.
We spent a while there enjoying the comfortable, laid-back atmosphere, but eventually, I felt a yawn escape me. Ryan noticed it immediately and pointed dramatically.
“Alright, I think it’s official—time for all the kids to head to bed!” he teased, earning a laugh from Blake and a chorus of giggles from the actual children.
I chuckled, shaking my head. “I guess I walked right into that one.”
Blake stood up and stretched, signaling that the evening was winding down. “Yeah, we should probably wrap things up before we have to carry anyone out of here.”
We all said our goodbyes, exchanging hugs and thanking each other for the great night. As we stepped outside, Hugh and I found ourselves standing by our cars, lingering in the cool night air.
I smiled up at him, feeling the warmth of the evening still lingering between us. “So, what’s on your agenda for tomorrow?”
Hugh shrugged lightly. “Not too exciting, honestly. I’m helping a friend with some work on his house in the morning, then I’ve got a doctor’s appointment and after that, I’m calling my brother to talk about my visit in Sydney to catch up with my family.”
I nodded. “Sounds like a busy day. Hometown huh?"
“Yeah, it’s been a while since I’ve seen everyone." he said softly, then smiled at me. “What about you? Plans with Chris?”
I grinned, the thought of seeing Chris again making me feel both nostalgic and excited. “Yeah, but we’re not meeting until the evening for a drink. Until then I'll call my parents because I promised them last week and after that I'll meet up with my management."
For a moment, we stood there, the air between us feeling charged in a quiet, tender way. After a small pause, we leaned into each other at the same time. He wrapped one arm around my waist, and the other hand found its way to my cheek. Our lips met in a slow, tentative kiss.
When we pulled away, there was a comfortable silence between us, our eyes lingering on each other as if neither of us wanted to say goodbye just yet. I gently stroked my hands over his shoulders down to his chest.
“Well." I said, my voice a little softer than usual. "I guess I’ll see you soon. Good night."
Hugh nodded, his smile warm and easy. “Yeah, good night y/n. Text me when you're home."
"Will do." I smiled.
With that, we each got into our cars, and as I drove home, my mind wandered back to the evening—Blake and Ryan’s support, the kids, the laughter, the stories, and of course, the kisses. My heart felt lighter than it had in a long time, and I couldn’t help but smile as I thought about tomorrow’s meeting with Chris.

Hi I’ve been thinking about this request for poly!plastics for a while now. So basically everyone knows that Regina gets angry and when she does people just don’t part ways with her. However, y/n is worse especially when she doesn’t get her full sleep which she didn’t get bc Gretchen and Karen were up and loud. (Y/n would never fault them bc she just loves them so much and their quirks). So throughout the school day, everyone has been getting on Y/n nerves like making comments about her girls etc. at lunch time, cady decided to make a “joke” about Karen being dumb, Regina being a bitch, etc and Y/n just explodes. Maybe heavy make out sess or smut after to calm Y/n down.
Slow Boil
|| Poly!plastics x fem!reader
(I myself am poly)
|| Warnings: swearing, reader almost punches Cady, reader has an attitude, little make out session at the end but nothing overly detailed or anything
|| Summary: reader doesn't get enough sleep, the next day people get on her nerves and it pushes her to a boiling point where she snaps at Cady for insulting her girls.
Requests open!
~~~
To say you were exhausted would be an understatement. You barely got any sleep the night before with Gretchen and Karen being up all night giggling and gossiping. How Regina slept through them... you didn't know, but God you were envious of her sleeping abilities. Though you would never blame or get mad at Gretchen and Karen. You would however be frustrated at yourself for not falling asleep sooner.
The day seemed to drag on. As if seconds were really minutes and minutes were hours. Classes taking too long to complete. In Health & Fitness you just gave up and fell asleep, head rested on your desk with one arm folded around it and other stretched out in front of you. Cady glanced at you and raised an eyebrow.
The bell woke you from your sleep and you groaned, grabbing your bag and slinging it over your shoulder. At least it was lunch. You'd get to see your girlfriends.
"Sleeping beauty rises." Mr. Carr comments, getting a few laughs from some kids in the back. You roll your eyes at him.
"I bet you thought that was clever. Do everyone a favour and keep your damn puns to yourself." Mr. Carr seemed taken aback by your attitude, usually you didn't have one. You were known for being kind and laid back. Not snappy and agitated. For that reason, he decides to let it go. Not without giving you a small warning lecture first. It certainly didn't make your mood any better.
You left the class, a sharp (sleep filled) glare glossing over your eyes as you walk through the halls. Some conversations catching your attention, people seemed to be talking about your girlfriends a lot lately. The things they were saying weren't always positive and that just did nothing to improve your mood. One voice in particular catches your attention. Cady.
You snapped your head in her direction, seeing her chatting with those art freaks Janis and Damien.
"Honestly, Karen's gotta be the dumbest person I've ever met. When I went to Regina's house Regina told Karen she would help her with her eyebrows and Karen asked if she could still have two." Cady talked, Damien and Janis laughed. You could feel your blood boiling," Speaking of Regina, don't even get me started on her. She is such a bi-"
"The next word out of your mouth better fucking be "bi icon" or I swear to every God that's listening..!" You yelled, taking a step towards Cady who froze in place. Damien and Janis exchanged a look.
"Y-Y/N, I didn't think-" You cut Cady off.
"Clearly! What the hell, Cady?! They've been nothing but nice- well, to your face- and this how you repay them?" You were livid. The news about you fighting with Cady quickly spread throughout the school, eventually reaching your girlfriends who sprang into action. Hoping to stop things before it escalated.
Regina got there first and put herself between you and Cady right as you had been about to strike. You pause the moment you see Regina and your arm falls to your side. Gretchen and Karen link their arms around yours and keep you back while Regina sighs.
"Baby, take a breath for me." Regina says, you ignore her and look at Cady. She snaps her fingers in your face," Don't look at her. Look at me."
You listen. Reluctantly.
"Breathe." Regina urges, hand resting on your shoulder. When that doesn't work she grabs you by your wrist and pulls you to the bathroom, Gretchen and Karen quickly following behind.
Once there, they all turn and face you.
"What was all that about?" Gretchen asks.
"Cady was being a total bitch." You mutter, arms folded across your chest.
"You mean like Cady Heron?" Karen looks confused.
"No, KD Mac and Cheese." You snap, then realize who you just snapped at. Regina narrows her eyes at you. Karen frowned and you relaxed your shoulders.
"I'm sorry... I just- didn't get any sleep last night and my patience has been pushed to the edge today because of it..." You admit in a mumble, hand covering your face as you tilted your head down. You felt bad.
Gretchen took a step towards you and wrapped her arms around your shoulders, pulling you into her side as she moves her hand away from your face. Giving you a deep, soft kiss that you immediately melt into. Hands resting gently around Gretchen to pull her closer. You could feel as your body finally relaxed. Whatever anger you had being washed away.
She broke the kiss and rested her hand to your cheek," Better?"
"I could maybe use a couple more kisses..." You smile sheepishly, looking over at Regina and Karen. Your girlfriends laugh softly and the tension in the room seems to fade.
dressing room - chris sturniolo
a/n : this might suck ?? idk 🌚 anyways for those of you who did my poll you will be getting your smut soon 👅also we’re almost to 200!! woohoo 🤗
+ readers name in this story is LIA, i don’t use y/n 😭
warnings - switch!chris x sub!reader, fingering, oral, pet names (baby, ma, good girl, mama), p in v, unprotected sex, public, slight choking and degrading, praising, caught? little bit of fluff at the end
summary : reader is out dress shopping with her friend, but in the process, chris walks into the wrong dressing room
————————————————————————-
‘ baby tell me that you want it deeper ‘
“ come on!! “ my friend yelled, dragging me into the store she insisted taking me to
i rolled my eyes and followed behind her, i hated going out and shopping. i could’ve just ordered online.
the store was almost empty with only about 4 other people in it, not including me and my friend, aaliyah
her and her boyfriend were going out to prom and i decided to not go because i didn’t have a date
she eyed around the store before spotting a shimmery forest green dress “oooh what about this one?”
“ i like it “ i shrugged and smiled nonchalantly, “it matches your eyes” i complimented and she giggled before hanging the dress over her arm along with 2 other dresses she had spotted
she wandered around the store for a few more minutes, me dragging behind
“ hey do you like this one?” aaliyah turned around to see me staring off
“ lia? are you good?” i shook my head once i realized i was in a trance
“ okay…y’know, you should come to prom with me and jason. “ aaliyah smirked at me with a shit eating grin
“ fuck no.” i immediately responded, was she crazy? i didn’t even have a date.
“oh come on-it would be fun!” she began “chris is gonna be thereee” she teased dragging out the word
i playfully punched her shoulder “aaliyah! someone from school could be here!”
she giggled and led me to a section of darker colored
dresses
“look at how pretty these are! come on, lia. these would all look so pretty on you.”
“ aaliyah, you know i love you. but im not third wheeling the entire night of prom, that’s just embarrassing. i’d rather not go at all.”
“could you at least try on some dresses?” she looked at me with puppy eyes
i thought about how happy it would make her, since im not going, what’s the harm in trying on a few dresses.
i rolled my eyes, “fine” i sighed as she grabbed my hand and started grabbing dresses from the racks
“but this place is getting busy, we need to hurry up”
there were people flooding in out of nowhere, the store swarming with all different kinds of girls and their boyfriends
“excuse me! hi, we need a dressing room please.” aaliyah spoke to an employee with my arm still in her grip.
the employee led us over and gave us a key, then walking away without saying a word
dickhead.
“okay! so-“ aaliyah was cut off by the ping of her phone
“shit ..lia jason texted me saying it was an emergency. are you gonna be okay if i go for a second?”
i nodded “just text me” she blew an air kiss and swiftly walked out of the store
“well.” i mumbled to myself before walking into the changing room, setting the dresses down and getting undressed
im on my last two dresses after about 30 minutes, and aaliyah still isn’t back. at least i took pictures.
i was in the process of taking off my current dress when i heard a knock on the door
assuming it was aaliyah, i quickly finished taking off my dress leaving me in my bra and calvin klein boxers
when i opened the door, my heart stopped. theres no fucking way.
it was chris. chris fucking sturniolo, the same chris i’ve had a crush on since freshman year was standing infront of me while im half naked.
he looked up from his phone and his eyes widened, “oh shit! im so fucking sorry” he apologized covering his eyes with his hand and looking down
i had closed the door, covering my body peeking out just my head
“i- um…chris?” i furrowed my brows trying to hide the embarrassment creeping up on my face
his face was pink and he looked flustered “yeah…”
“ you can look now. im decent” i let out a small giggle
he slowly removed his hand from his face and smiled when he saw me
“oh hey lia! it’s good to see you, what are you doing here?”
“i was looking at dresses.” i shrugged
“oh for prom? who’s the lucky guy” he questioned rather quickly
“uhhh no one…my friend wanted me to try them on but she’s not even here.”
“where is she?” he asked looking around
“something came up with her boyfriend.” i shrugged and so did he, leaving us in an awkward silence
“can you help?” i blurted out without even thinking what i had said
“with the whole dress thing? uh yeah that’s fine, i’ll wait out here”
“you can come in…that was the whole point” i laughed and opened the door more, welcoming him in
usually, i would never do something like but i was feeling confident
“i-you sure?” he asked furrowing his brows and tilting his head
“yes! come on before someone sees you” i grabbed his arm and yanked him in the room, closing the door behind us
chris moved the dresses to the side and sat in the middle of the long seat that took up one side of the dressing room
once he was comfortable he leaned against the wall, manspreading as he looked at me
“can you hand me that dress?” i asked chris, pointing to the royal blue dress next to him
he leaned forward and handed me the dress with a smile as i slipped it on
with my back facing chris, i looked at myself in the mirror as i slipped on the dress
i noticed chris’ eyes scanning my body and biting his lower lip slightly, “eyes up here” i laughed as i adjusted the straps on my shoulders
he must’ve forgot there was a mirror right there, or he just didn’t care
his face flushed a light pink color as he cleared his throat, stuttering in a nervous tone
“ i wasn’t staring, i was…” he looked at the ground then back at me and laughed when he couldn’t think of anything to say
i laughed with him but my laughter came to a stop when i realized i couldn’t zip up my dress all the way
“you need help ma?” he asked me
“yes.” i replied shamefully as chris rose up smiling
i grabbed a handful of my hair and moved it to the side as he came up behind me
“shit i think its stuck” he put his hand on my waist for balance as he fumbled with the zipper
i felt my face get hot at the sudden movement
i felt his warm breath on my neck and looked at him in the mirror, he was so focused while i was over here crumbling under his touch
“anddd..got it” he stepped back and smiled at me
i fixed my hair and turned around, “so how does it look?” i posed and spun around
he stood and starred at me for a few seconds without saying a word, my confidence draining slowly before he spoke “shit you look amazing”
i felt my face flush and i giggled “shut up” and turned around to face myself in the mirror, checking myself out
i snapped a picture on my phone and sent it to aaliyah, hoping for an answer
i put my phone down and sighed “okay” i turned back around to chris who was starring at me in awe
“what?” i giggled titling my head. chris shook his head and cleared his throat “nothing” he replied dryly
i turned and faced myself in the mirror once more, chris behind me already knowing what to do
he unzipped the dress as it slid down to my ankles, leaving me in my bra and boxers again
“oh shit. when did you get a tattoo?” he laughed while looking at the tattoo i had on my lower back
“why are you looking?” i raised a brow while looking at him through the mirror
he scoffed and rolled his eyes before replying “you have such a nice body ma”
i felt his hands creep up on my bare waist, sending shivers down my spine as he rested his head on my shoulder, making eye contact with me through the mirror
he then at me and put his pink lips up to my ear, “you look so pretty” i felt his warm breath against my neck and it gave me goosebumps
i turned to face him, looking back with his hands still on my waist
i stared at him for a few moments before i connected our lips
we made out passionately and i turned around to face him, placing my arms around the back of his neck with his hands on my waist, pulling my body closer to his
then i broke the kiss, our lips still hovering over one another for a moment before welding our lips together for a second time
chris moved his mouth down towards my neck, sucking and kissing my sensitive spot leaving hickeys, making me let out a small whimper
i tilted my head to the side with my eyes shut and fingers tangled in his hair as he marked me up all over
his lips found their way back to mine as we found ourselves making our way to the seat
chris sat down and i straddled him
we made out as his hands flew back to my waist as i grinded my hips against his growing boner
my hands fumbled with the band of his sweatpants while we were making out
he lifted his hips up and i slid off his sweatpants down to his ankles, him kicking them to the side
i grinded against his clothed cock as i became more and more soaked, desperate for something
he guided my hips with his hands on my waist, him whimpering as i did so
he jutted his hips forward and i felt his erection against my throbbing pussy
i decided to test the waters so i reached my hand down between us and starting palming him, causing a whiny whimper to leave his lips
i reached my hand into the waistband of his boxers, wrapping my hand around his length before he stopped me
“on your knees, now” he ordered and i obeyed, finding myself in between his legs and on my knees
he raised his hips in the air and pulled down his boxers down in one motion, his cock springing up and hitting his stomach
i felt my eyes widen and my heart stop beating at the sight of his dick, he was huge
my mouth watered at the thought of him slamming into me. his tip was light pink, covered in precum with a vein running down the side of it
chris laughed once he saw my face and stood up grabbing his dick, rubbing his tip along my lips “c’mon baby, you can do it.”
i wrapped my hand around the end of his member and placed teasing licks on his tip, causing him to groan due to the anticipation
i licked all the way up his cock and swirled my tongue around his tip
finally, i took all of him in my mouth, jerking off what i couldn’t fit which was easily an inch or two.
i started slow, gagging and whimpering against his hard dick causing vibrations to flow all through out his body
then i increased my speed bobbing my head back and forth, making him whimper
“mm baby…” i looked up at him to find him already looking at me, biting his lower lips “shit just like that.”
his words fueled me to give it my all, the pet name soaking me down to my core. i removed my hand and took in every single inch of him
speeding up my pace, i moved my tongue alongside the bottom half of his cock as i fit all of him into my mouth
chris was groaning and whimpering and letting out all types of cuss words while i worked my magic
i took all of him in my mouth, tears streaming down the side of my cheeks caused by my gag reflex
“gonna let me cum in that pretty little mouth? hm?”
i moaned against his dick, which we both knew was a yes. i felt him twitching in my mouth, warning that he was close
“shit ma i’m gonna-“ he whimpered as he shot thick gushes of cum down my throat
“swallow.” i did as told and stuck out my tongue to show him with saliva dripping down my chin and my lips pink and puffy.
he grabbed my chin and moved my head upwards to make me look at him. his eyes scanned every detail on my face.
the now dry tears all down my cheeks, my lips wet and swollen, my eyes low and tired, and my chin covered in a coat of my own slobber
“good girl” he growled in a low tone, looking at me with lust filled eyes. he leaned down to kiss me, before he ordered me to take off my remaining clothes.
i was already barley had anything on, so taking them off was easy and i sat watching chris take off what he had on
my eyes found their way to his hands, the veins that ran across them and his long slender fingers that moved at a quick pace to take off his shirt
chris threw his shirt to the side and moved his head over to look at me
“its not nice to stare mama. if you want my fingers in you just say that” my face felt hot and i felt my pussy leaking, i needed him so bad
“hm? i asked you a question” he looked at me tilting his head, walking closer towards me
“yes…chris please” i looked up at him with pleading eyes as he stood over me
he looked me up and down and slightly bit his bottom lip, “lay down”
i laid flat on my back with my legs hanging off of the edge, chris standing between my legs and placing one of them over his shoulder
“what do you want ma?” he looked down at me with low eyes and smirking
“anything, chris please! your hands, your mouth, i don’t care! i just need you” i whined
he grazed his hand up and down my folds causing me to let out a choked moan
“please chris…” i begged in a whiny tone, jutting my hips forward for more of him
“patience baby” he spoke in a low tone, i tried to wait but my core ached for some sort of relief
that’s when he shoved two fingers inside of me, and i covered my mouth, squeezing my eyes shut to stay quiet
his fingers curled inside my pussy and hitting my g-spot everytime, it was hell trying to stay quiet with the way he was pleasing me.
the fact his already rock hard dick was laying on my stomach and so close to my pussy, given the position we were in, was not helping my case.
i grabbed his biceps for support as i already felt my orgasm approaching “so…close” i struggled to speak but i pushed out those few words
he frowned and spoke in a teasing tone “aww, already? you like the the way my fingers feel in you baby?”
i could only hum in response, that’s when he kneeled down and started to suck my clit as his fingers moved at an ungodly speed
due to the sudden added pleasure, i accidentally let out an almost pornographic moan
i threw my head back and closed my legs around his head, clenching around his fingers as he was still sucking my clit
chris placed soft kisses onto my core before kissing his way up to neck, leaving more hickeys than before
“i feel you clenching baby, let it go” the pet name immediately sent me over the edge, my legs shaking as i moaned and released all over chris’ fingers
i felt him smile against my neck and removed his fingers, sticking them in his mouth and sucking them clean before kissing me, the taste of my release on his lips turning me on even more
“you taste so good ma, can you gimmie one more?” he asked in a low tone before grabbing the tip of his dick and running it up and down my folds
“chris im sensitive…i cant” i replied in a whiny tone, causing him to smirk
“yes you can. you gonna be good for me?” i nodded before he slowly pushed himself all the way in, giving me time to adjust to his size before starting slow
“fuck your so big- i dont know if i can take it” i balled my fists up as he stood over me, smirking as he took in my expression
“shhh…you got it ma. i’m gonna move now, okay?” and with that, he started moving slightly faster
i was overstimulated and sensitive, but the pain soon turned into pleasure once i got used to it
“faster chris, please” i looked up at him with my big brown eyes, begging for him to go faster
those words were all he needed for him to pickup his pace and start thrusting into me faster than ever
that’s when we heard a knock at the door, it was a staff member. chris leaned down to my ear and whispered, “you’re gonna talk to him, or i’ll stop.”
“excuse me? miss?” the employee questioned from the other side
“y-yes?” my voice was shaky as chris never stopped his trusts, “is everything okay in there? i heard screams” he sounded concerned
at that moment, chris started rubbing fast circles on my clit, kissing and sucking at my neck as he did so
“yes yes oh my god!” i slapped my hand over my mouth when i realized what i had just said, but redeeming myself nonetheless.
“yes! everything’s…FINE!” i stuttered as he relentlessly pounded into me, him laughing lowly as he saw the effect he had on me
“i just thought i s-saw a bug! everything’s f-fine!” i shot out quickly, trying to make myself sound more believable
“alright…” the employee walked away and let out a sigh, embarrassed at myself
“you’re…oh god” i struggled to finish my sentence
“such an asshole!” i joked at chris, causing him to laugh against my neck
“hm…considering what just happened i think im gonna need to shut you up.” chris spoke in a low tone as he took his two fingers and shoved them in my mouth
he was making me feel so good, and i felt myself getting close. his tip brushed my g-spot with every thrust, making my eyes roll to the back of my head
i knew i wasn’t gonna last long, between him pounding into me, his thumb rubbing against my clit with one hand, and his fingers in my mouth using the other as his pink swollen lips kissed my neck. i was a goner.
i was still letting out groans and whimpers, apparently too loud for his liking, since he removed his fingers from my mouth and wrapped his hand around my neck
he squeezed slightly which caused me to whimper, “you into that to? what a slut.”
his words hit me like a train, i was trying not to cum and it took every ounce of strength i had in my body not to.
i dont think chris knew that being degraded was one of biggest kinks.
“only for you.” i looked up at him with low eyes and a smile “shit don’t…don’t do that” he whined as his thrusts got sloppier by the second
an idea popped up in my head, “why, does it make you feel good knowing you’re in control, hm baby? is that what it is?”
he clamped his eyes shut and clenched his jaw as he whimpered nonstop
hm. praise kink.
“you make me feel so good chris” i teased him in a seductive tone
he whimpered out a small “fuck” and i felt his cock twitch inside of me meaning he was close
“you gonna let me cum in this little pussy? hm?” he questioned as he thrusted harder and his grip on my neck tightened, but not enough to hurt me
i moaned in response and shook my head as i clenched around him, “hugging my cock so well” he spoke as he leaned down to kiss me
he slipped his tongue in my mouth and i returned the gesture, moaning into the kiss as i did so
“shit chris! i’m-“ i was cut off by my release as my cum coated his cock
soon after i felt chris shoot a warm load into me, fucking me through my high as my legs shook
he pulled out as both of our juices oozed out of my pussy, i laid there trying to catch my breath
“you okay? you did so good ma” he smiled at me and help me sit up, handing me my clothes and placing a kiss to my forehead
i nodded and smiled in response as i dressed myself, chris sitting next to me and doing the same
“sooo…you’re not going to prom, right?” he questioned as he put on his clothes
i shook my head, “no, i don’t have a date and i’m sure as fuck not third wheeling my bestfriend” i laughed and he giggled before leaning against the wall and smiling at me
“what?” i laughed staring at him and returning the same smile
“do you…wanna go with me? i- if not that’s totally fine i was just-“ he stuttered out of nervousness before i cut him off with a simple yes.
“chris! its fine. i would love to go with you…but why?”
“why what?” he furrowed his brows, his expression confused
“why would you wanna go with me, out of all girls?” i questioned him
“cause i like you” he shrugged his shoulders before speaking again “always have. i was just scared that you wouldn’t like me back cause everyone has this…view of me. that im a player or something cause im popular”
“chris…” i felt myself getting emotional at his words, i didn’t know he felt that way.
“i’ve had feelings for you since freshman year. i didn’t think i was your type” chris looked down at the floor before i continued
“and…if you liked me then, why were you a dick to me all the time?” i laughed
“cause i was jealous. lia you might not know it, but there are so many guys who would go for you. like…that day at the halloween party? the one at school?”
“mhm” i shook my head, signaling i remembered what he was talking about
“dude…i thought you looked so good. but i wasn’t the only one. dudes in the hallways were always talking about how they’d fuck you so good if they had the chance and shit like that. and it just made me mad. but i know its not your fault, so im sorry for that”
chris looked like he wanted to laugh after his confession, i wondered what was so funny
“chris what are you laughing at” i giggled at the sight of him smiling
“promise you wont laugh?” he looked up at me, his cheeks flushed pink
“depends…”. i furrowed my brows and tilted my head, anticipation flowing through my body
“and…” he covered his face in his hands so he was muffled, but i still understood what he was saying
“when you were wearing that crop top and shorts it made me insanely embarrassingly hard and i jerked off in the bathroom after class” he spoke very quickly
“chris!! are you serious? the school bathrooms?” i laughed slightly, covering my mouth
“yeah. i was down bad…but now i know i can have you all to myself, anytime i want” he kissed my neck and put his hand on my thigh
i giggled at his sudden affection, “yes you can, but not right now, my friend is on her way!” i kissed him
“pleaseeee ma, really quick?” he dragged the word, peppering soft kisses to my neck and rubbing my thigh
“no chris, just wait for tonight. and my legs hurt” i laughed and he sighed, playfully rolling his eyes
“now…which one? or should i try on the other one cause y’know..you didn’t see it” i questioned him holding up the two dresses
“lia what just led to this whole thing…” he narrowed his eyes and smirked at me “i like that one.”
he pointed to the long silk forest green dress with sparkles all over it, “hm. me to” i smiled when we heard a knock at the door
“um…hold on” i opened the door and poked my head out to see aaliyah standing there with a huge smile on her face
“lia…who’s in there with you?” he smirked at me and raised an eyebrow
“would you believe me if i told you?” i whispered to her from behind the door
“depends.” he squinted her eyes
“chris!!” i whisper shouted at her, trying to contain my volume
her jaw dropped “YOURE LYING!”
i shook my head “nope!! and…he’s taking me to prom” i smiled at the thought
“oh my god so you are going!?”
“yeah!! oh and we fucked…” i paused for a moment
“really big” i whispered to her as she was still trying to take all this in
“holy fucking shit…how did this all happen again?” her eyes wide and eyebrows raised
“long story” i smiled at her “i’ll be right out” i told her and shut the door
“hey sooo…lia…could i like maybe, be your boyfriend?” chris asked me nervously, scratching the back of his neck
“yes, you can chris” i smiled and kissed him, his hands wrapping around my waist
“oh and also…” he dug into his pocket and pulled out a wallet, handing money to me
i looked at him confused, “it’s for your dress baby. take it” he placed the wad of cash in my hand, it was easily $400
“no chris i ca-“ i was cut off by him smashing his lips into mine, his hand caressing my cheek “this is nothing ma, just take the money.”
i smiled at him before he spoke again “by the way, you look so good in your dress. it’s a shame you won’t be in it for long” he shrugged and laughed
“chris!!” i laughed and hit his shoulder, making our way out of the dressing room.
On the run…
just a disclaimer that this has been the longest since I’ve posted and this isn’t a for sure series! I’ve been super busy lately and I took a break because writing felt more like a need then something I wanted to do, i’m kinda back now and I hope you enjoy it 💕
Neteyam and I grew up together, we were very close. I grew to love him and I believe he felt that way too…until we were told that we would be promised to each other…Neteyam didn’t liked the fact that he felt tied down without having a choice. He was perfect at everything but being a good promised mate to Y/n.
Y/n however was very good. She comforted Neteyam when he was stressed about his father and she’d give him calming oils and treatment to relax him..
There were nights where Neteyam was absent, one night Y/n decided to hug Neteyam even with him pushing her off…
“I can smell her. Her scent. Irya.”
“You’re crazy.”
“Stop it! I caught you. And you’re not going to talk your way out of this. How many Neteyam? How many are there? How many have there been?”
“What does it matter? Hmm? We still are promised to each other and have no choice but to be mated. But irya is willing to take in that void until then. And maybe…maybe that’s better for everybody.”
Y/n scoffed at his attitude towards the situation…the man she loved, the boy she grew up with, had become so heartless to her.
“You know what, it’s better for you! You have a pretty good deal don’t you? You go out! You fool around! I sit here, I take care of your home and the clan. Well no more! That’s it.”
“Calm down!”
“No! I’m not going to do this anymore! Ok? I’m not going to sit here and take it and take it! Sorry! I love you, yes! But I am not dirt! I am promised to you! And you will not do this to me anymore-“
“Enough! I’ll stop! It’s fine. But you will not raise your voice at me. We will not do anything until we are to be mated.”
Y/n watched as Neteyam turned his back to go lay on the hammock with a blanket that Y/n made and cleaned just for him. If this was how things were going to be…it pained her completely but he came home didn’t he? He came home to her..?
She slept that night right beside him…cold and crying. He didn’t ever hold her while she slept..not like how they did when they were younger.
Truth was Neteyam didn’t sleep with Irya, no he could never. He just laid with her…he knew her scent was enough to break Y/n’s heart further…
~~
I stayed strong…I dealt with the pain and still claimed him proudly and openly…waiting on the day he called out my name.
I said I didn’t feel nothing but I lied, I almost cut a piece of myself for his love.
The passing Navi’s would smile at me and ask how Neteyam was…I would responded proudly.
“Ah yes Neteyam! He is doing well! Very good!”
Oh how I wished I didn’t get this treatment…I wish I could’ve been able to choose. In all honesty I would’ve still chosen Neteyam but it’d be on my terms..can’t say the same for him.
My days had an endless routine, I felt so trapped. I wanted Neteyam to stay even though he didn’t want me. Why can’t he wait till I fall out of love?
After everything going on…the war…the panic. It was decided that we’d have to give up our home and roles of the clan…everything. That meant every last tear, blood shed and sweat that Neteyam and I sacrificed to be the next leaders were wasted. Just because I was leaving didn’t mean I wasn’t no longer promised to Neteyam, he had all of me.
The move was so difficult and I didn’t know how else to comfort someone who didn’t want to be loved by me…but when he let me hold him, it gave me hope.
“We’ll be ok Ma’tyem”
The journey was long and tiring…it dragged and made our bodies sore…weak. Riding beside Neteyam made it worth it, all I could do was focus on him and how beautiful he truly was. Taking in his presence was my best bet at loving him from afar. Something about finding a new home and having a new adventure felt good despite leaving my entire life behind..
When we had arrived, nervousness ran through my veins…I allowed myself to be the last of the group to get off, watched how Neteyam protected his siblings and remained respectful just like his father.
I walked in cautiously repeating Neteyam’s same action and passing small smiles to those I had made eye contact with and then suddenly I made eye contact with someone who caught my attention …it was a boy who seemed about our age, instead of giving disgusted looks like he was before he froze. Soon enough the soften look in his eyes brought me into confusion, and I turned away. A warm unfamiliar arm wrapped around my waist, tuggin me forward and I couldn’t help but be more focused as to what was wrong.
Neteyam never held me, not anymore…not like when we were children. He pushed me to listen to the leader of the clan..that’s when I discovered the beautiful girl who Lo’ak shared a moment with was Tsireya and the boy I briefly noticed was Ao’nung..both children of the clans leaders. My ears went up and tail swayed at the new introduction, new people? New setting? Absolutely brought me bliss.
Unpacking was draining and having to now share a mauri with a full family was something I’d have to get used to, I didn’t mind though. I grew up with the Sully’s and remained very tight with all siblings…Neteyam included until our parents suggested we’d be mated. Of course I loved that idea…but Neteyam felt forced, it made him hate me.
It was another night of falling asleep beside Neteyam except this time he turned his body towards me and loosely had his arm around me. It was then that I realized I missed his touch so much and I’d settle with this even if it only meant he was doing it to prevent his family from questioning the separation.
I had butterflies take over me, placing my hand on top of his…only for him to pull his hand away and lay it on my hip, furthering any more affection..
Soon the sun rises and I woke up early to help prep meals for everyone with Neytiri, to her I was perfect. In my eyes I was far from it, not even able to satisfy her child.
I made my way sitting quietly next to Neteyam, my mind was still focused of last night’s interactions and our relationship…soon enough the loudness and spinning in my head only begged me to just take a moment for myself, I paused my eating and excused myself…but walking away I can hear my childhood best friends speak.
“What’s wrong with her?..she’s been quiet.”
“She’s always quiet Lo’ak-“
Kiri was one of the only people who noticed the great shift in Y/n. They grew up together, Y/n was open to Kiri about her crush on Neteyam and she never told any one although she enjoyed the idea of them together, it made her so happy when they were promised…but now after a couple of months with them together, Kiri could see something was weighing Y/n down.
“Not always! She only starts to get quiet when Neteyam’s around! You make her nervous bro! Y/n’s been in love with you since we were kids and now you guys are going to be all lovey, dovey once your Mated!!!”
Neteyam couldn’t even reply, it wasn’t that he didn’t love you…or maybe he didn’t? He himself, couldn’t understand his feelings towards you. Neteyam just wanted time to choose his mate and who he loved.
He was truly living his fathers dream, sacrificing his life to repay and honor his parents sacrifice. Would he had chosen Y/n, his once childhood crush as his mate? Would he have done it if he wasn’t forced? He didn’t know.
Y/n took in Lo’ak’s word..she did only get quiet around Neteyam, she knew how quickly and easily it was to annoy him.
*flashback*
It was the beginning of their relationship and he couldn’t be anymore closed off with her. All Y/n wanted to do was love him and be a perfect mate to him. So when he walked through the door…that’s exactly what she did.
“Neteyam, I’ve made you dinner! Your favorite!”
“Not hungry.”
His response was short but however, what made the two perfect was that no matter how calm and collected she was…she remain optimistic.
“Ok! That’s fine! I’ll prep it for you in the morning, when you’re ready to go back to training-“
“Y/n! How many times do I have to say it? I’m not hungry! I do not want your food! Just be quiet!…voice is annoying…relationship is business only..”
Y/n perfectly heard his last muttered words and it brought her to tears as she wrapped his food up, she had stayed up late waiting to eat with him once he arrived home…but now he laid in bed. Y/n blew the candles providing light and closed the tent enough just for a little moonlight to shed as she provided him a calm setting to fall asleep in while she struggle to eat in the dark.
Neteyam could see though, he saw her tears roll down her face and her hand quiver as her eyebrows furrowed and head shake as if telling her that it’ll all be ok. It took everything in him to not apologize for being so cold, but he couldn’t..not now when he was so frustrated.
*
Y/n lost her optimistic side…instead of being calm, she slowly was just pulling herself into a fiery state. After so much coldness could you blame her? She didn’t have any time for playing around or a moment for herself..but now with this new home, she did.
There it was Y/n sat outside taking in the sunrise and fresh breeze, she was just starting to relax when Kiri interrupted
“So…I’ve been meaning to ask but nothing feels like the right time but…are you ok? Like I mean really ok? I can feel your energy Y/n.”
It took Y/n by surprise and it only took Kiri to see her face for her to know whatever she was going to say next was a lie. That’s exactly how it all played out, Y/n had her mouth slightly open in shock and then she smiled, not a true one thought just a small one with closed lips.
“Of course Kiri!…it’s just the move.”
Silence stood between them, Kiri could see the little white lies Y/n told herself and it hurt her. Y/n was never one to be standoffish or guarded.
“Right..well soon enough we’ll start training to get used to this environment-“
“Hello! We’re here to start training”
Both girls looked at Tsireya in surprise and soon settled into a smile, excited to finally have a taste of something new. Y/n stood proud and tall before tsireya, she admired it truly. To tsireya if she would’ve stayed at the forest she would’ve been a perfect leader for the people…what could’ve been.
“I’ll go ahead and get the others! Excuse me.”
Ao’nung watched from a far…Y/n was captivating to him. Her voice and the way she walked presented herself with confidence.
His smile stayed until he saw her stand beside Neteyam, they walked together as one but in silence.
They all trailed after each other one by one. Ao’nung tried to slow down so that his speed would align with Y/n’s but it just didn’t happen.
Tsireya decided to start by swimming first and excitement erupted amongst Kiri and Y/n as they grabbed each others hands swimming down around the corals of the reef.
Ao’nung pushed the rest of the group forward and he allowed his sister to take over as he glanced over to Y/n doing flips around the ocean and viewing the fishes in amazement. Y/n put herself in tune with the ocean..if she was going to live here she had to act as one of the people.
Neteyam couldn’t help but notice Y/n staggering behind the group and he rolled his eyes at her childish behavior… when he went up to the surface with everyone else gasping for air, he looked back beneath the water..he saw Ao’nung swim over to Y/n, watch them exchange smiles while swimming up beside each other.
“You’re pretty good for a beginner! I can show you how to-“
“Y/n!-“
neteyam was going to interrupt but he was quickly interrupted by his own little sister, gasping onto Y/n’s arms and his arms.
Y/n quickly passed a smile at Ao’nung as she now turned her attention to Tuk cradling her while Neteyam fixed Y/n’s hair from getting caught onto Tuk.
The sudden touch caught Y/n by surprise, she was quick to turn her head in confusion until Tysireya’s voice brought them back to focus
“It’s fine if your not the best right now…we should try getting you guys on ilu’s! I’m sure you’ll love it!”
Another tug to another direction, telling Y/n to swim with him. There was not a chance Neteyam was going to leave Y/n with Ao’nung when it was clear to him, he was trying to get close to her.
this interaction between the two didn’t fly past Y/n she didn’t understand what Neteyam was trying to do. Once practice ended she allowed the group to go past and speak amongst each other while she began tugging back at Neteyam’s arm to walk with her. They said their goodbyes respectfully and Y/n held onto Neteyam the entire time.
“What are you doing? You have a role to withhold still Neteyam. Be respectful. You must remember that this isn’t our home.”
“Me? What am I doing wrong? You must’ve forgot that you have to withhold your role with me. You are my future mate do not forget.”
“I haven’t done anything that can make you imply that I have, are you kidding?”
“So why are you getting friendly with-“
“This is not our land. Our relationship has been in shambles because of you-“
“How dare you blame me? What? Because i went out to get my needs done so I can keep pushing to Be with you. I did it for us.
Tears welled up in Y/n’s eyes as she realized he was now the one blaming her for their relationship.
“I’d rather go blind then to see you walk away from me, with another women. I never asked you to do that.”
“But it needed to be done Y/n, you can’t maintain me.”
“This isn’t my fault Neteyam please stop. I’m not doing anything wrong. I haven’t gotten overly friendly with anyone. Just stop.”
“Don’t talk to Ao’nung Y/n, I’m not asking you.”
“I don’t need you telling me it either. I have to remain mutual and respectful to everyone, even if it means speaking to them.”
“You will be disrespecting me-“
“Please, this is barley scratching the surface of what you’ve done to me. This relationship is business only. Isn’t that what you said? So then stick to your words. It stopped meaning anything to me the moment you started acting this way.”
She was lying, but she wanted to shoot a bullet at him just like he did to her. When she looked back at Neteyam she didn’t notice the pain flushing his eyes or that fact that his heart was beating rapidly, he truly hurt hearing her stand up to him. It hurt him to see that he can’t seem to keep her close and let her go. He knew though, he still had her…even if it meant she was speaking back.
Later on in the night when it was time to eat, Y/n made sure to start a conversation with Tuk to make sure she was settling in well. Tuk pulled her arm to sit with her and Y/n did. Kiri quickly sat next to Y/n sensing something was wrong with her. This left Neteyam to sit in front of her, though Y/n didn’t even bat an eye at him.
“Did you see all the fishes down there Y/n?!”
“Oh I did Tuk! They were beautiful!!”
Jake had interrupted their conversation discussing the clan and asking how the children were treating them.
“Ao’nung sucks and Tsireya is really nice.”
Lo’ak was clearly biased to Tsireya based on the way he was smiling so his opinion flew out the window in Jake’s eyes.
Everyone began speaking quickly and clashed their words together as Y/n watched trying to follow everyone’s words.
“Mmh I barley heard a thing anyone said…what about you Y/n how were they?”
Jake knew Y/n had a thing with words, she was descriptive and knew how to speak properly. She observed everything there was to a person.
“Tsireya was sweet, attentive while teaching and patient. Ao’nung was witty, quick to say something and less patient. Overall they are good people-“
“Please Y/n Ao’nung was the worst, maybe not to you!”
Lo’ak had spoken in a teasing voice, implying something he shouldn’t. Jake had shut down his youngest teasing seeing it as a learning lesson
“It’s about being respectful. The face that you had while learning their ways probably didn’t help Ao’nungs remarks. Your face tells everything, Y/n knew how to behave.”
Neteyam grew silent only looking at Y/n and his food, quietly pushing for her to say more.
“Yes correct, this isn’t our home yet..but we must learn their ways with a positive attitude.”
The tension felt visible to the couple sitting across from each other and it continued when Y/n looked up at Neteyam after saying the statement.
She got up attempting to remain calm, picking up her meal and placing it to the side. After cleaning up and paying her respects she resided off to the side not facing Neteyam if he were to sleep on her hammock…
There it is that dip of him crawling back to my bed, enraging me over and over again without a care in the world that he hurt me.
*💕*
remember that this isn’t a for sure series, it’s definitely not perfect either I’m just trying to get into the groove of things again :))
I’ve just seen a face || J.D.
𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ𐀔
pairing is johnny davis x f!reader
in which the man you've been staring at all night long at a party meets you in the kitchen, and suggests to walk you out where it's safer. the only danger is not being able to stop kissing him.
word count: 2k
warnings: 18+ (mdni), alcohol, mention of weed, men being creeps, smoking, sexual tension, kissing and a touch of fluff?, "girls are prettier without glasses" speech (ugh), maybe a few mistakes and nonsense
AN: I can’t believe I've spent a whole afternoon on this. anyway, this is a gift for myself as I’ve spent my first day at my dream college, and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. And yes, I love very long gifs.
The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it. Resist it, and your soul grows sick with longing for the things it has forbidden to itself, with desire for what its monstrous laws have made monstrous and unlawful. — The Picture of Dorian Gray
Johnny’s lips hovered over yours, mixing his warm breath with your shaky exhales. You had never felt so connected to another human being before. Never felt your soul leaving your body that way. And here you were now, nose-to-nose with a man you didn't even know.
A deep, unwavering sexual tension had tethered you to Johnny for hours. Even since you had stepped into the house, actually. It had been hard to see right through the smoke, even more since you had decided to ditch your glasses for the night, just for the experience. Well, it had been a fucking mistake. All the faces were blurry, and you swore you introduced yourself twice to the same people, all of them hoisting their beer and exchanging looks you didn't quite understand.
It doesn’t matter, your friends told you. They won’t remember anything the next morning. You supposed it was a relief, to think people would forget about you in just a few hours. At least until you saw that guy who had been standing in a corner the whole time.
No, not a guy. A real man, with broad shoulders and a certain way of carrying himself. Even from across the room, you knew he was respected.
It had taken you longer than necessary to reach the kitchen behind a group of wobbly men, bumping into shoulders and apologizing inaudibly. Someone talked to you but you barely paid any attention, giving a small "okay" instead as you focused on getting to the kitchen in one piece.
Rubbing your eyelid tiredly, you nearly scratched your eye out when a hand closed around your wrist, though it felt warm and gentle.
“Hey.”
The man from the corner was looking down at you, worry flickering in his eyes. So close to you, he was even more handsome. Full lips, a face that carried memories. Clearly, he had seen a lot.
“Ya need help?”
“No?” You dragged the syllable, confused as you shot a look at your friends. The three of them had crashed on a couch, their loud laughter drawing attention. You might have looked drunk though, you gave him that. “I’m just headin’ for the kitchen. Gotta drink some water before I start feelin’ all…”
Your vague hand motion made his lips twitch in amusement, which pulled a smile to your lips too. It slightly faded when he removed his hand from you, and you turned back around.
So he had noticed you.
A strong scent of alcohol and weed burned your nostrils when you walked over to the sink, your eyes sweeping over the room to find where the glasses were stocked. Littered cups filled with some sort of alcohol mix had your nose wrinkled up at the smell, wondering what was wrong with those people. Did they really enjoy drinking this? Finally, stacked glasses that seemed clean enough caught your eyes.
And now that same man was standing at the threshold.
“I’m old enough to be left on my own, y'know," you said sarcastically, almost nervous to be left alone with him. Was he one of the creeps? Or just a man bored to death?
In response, he nodded like you had made a great point. “Just don’t want ya to feel unsafe, is all.”
You shrugged, retrieving a glass, checking it was somewhat clean, and filling it with water. “I know how to throw a punch. I've been taught the basics.”
“Show me, then.”
The three words made your heartbeat faster. With your free hand, you closed your fist, barely thinking.
“Nah. Ya’d break your thumb like that.”
Your gaze flitted to your hand for a second. “Yeah. Probably.”
Another nod was addressed to you, and a moment of silence wrapped you both in a comfortable bubble. You drank the water silently while he kept his eyes on you, which would have looked truly odd did he not seem safe. He looked exhausted, though. Maybe a bit entertained. Maybe like he’d been waiting for someone like you to light up his evening.
“I’m Johnny.”
You gave your name back, watching his smile that definitely shouldn’t have caused a hot nudge in your lower body, considering he would surely move on from you the next day.
Still, the tension choked you as he stepped further into the room, picking up a bottle of beer in a bucket. Your hand tightened against the glass when you opened your mouth to ask where he was from–the usual small talk you used when silence made you uneasy–and instantly closed it as two bearded men barged in, ruining the moment.
“I say, "You ain’t goin’ nowhere, motherfucker",” the first one spat, waving a gun in the air. “I captured you.”
Swallowing thickly at the sight of the small handgun, you set the glass back down into the sink and glanced over at Johnny. Your senses returned to you enough to do some calculations. From what you could see, you could slip beside him and make your way back to your friends swiftly. But those two creeps had spotted you, standing there like an outsider or just a woman, and nerves started filling your body as you hyped yourself up to take the few steps toward freedom. There was no way you were staying there to risk being shot accidentally. What a stupid end that would make.
Johnny’s brow furrowed at those guys and back at you, sensing your discomfort. He tipped the drink to his mouth, taking a long sip as you took a deep breath.
“I think I’ll head out,” you announced quietly, ignoring the men’s hot gazes on your back.
It was a shame to leave so fast, but maybe you just weren’t meant to be talking to Johnny. You believed in all that stuff fiercely.
Johnny’s head turned around, watching behind him before meeting your eyes again. “I can’t see your friends.”
“Oh, they must be smokin’ somewhere out there.”
Giving a small nod, he stepped closer to you and left his beer near the sink. “I’ll walk ya out.”
You cleared your throat, trying to alleviate the lump forming from the thoughts racing through your brain. His hand settled on your lower back as he guided you to the back door, and you didn’t think once. Perhaps you'd finally have that time alone with him, after all. He didn’t look like he wanted to leave either.
The cold breeze hit you in the face as you squinted through the darkness, praying hard not to fall or trip or do anything embarrassing in front of him. And that was exactly what you did. The couple of stairs were poorly lighted, and there was only one idiot to miss that one step. You.
“Shit,” you stumbled, chuckling awkwardly when you felt Johnny’s hand on your waist, making sure you were not collapsing.
“Alright?”
“Yeah,” you replied quickly, unable to stop yourself from smiling.
Maybe it was his big hands on you, or maybe it was just the one beer you had drunk, but the wind seemed less cold, less aggressive on your skin. God, he looked so... attractive.
A small smile graced his lips as he gazed down at you, almost checking you out. “Should’ve slowed down on the beers.”
Another giggle escaped your lips, trying not to shrink under his gaze. “It’s not about the beers, promise. I just can’t see nothin’ without my glasses.”
“You lost ‘em?” Johnny asked, a wrinkle appearing between his brows.
“No. Um… I’ve been told girls are prettier without glasses.”
He made a sound. Kept frowning. That was your cue to blabber on.
“Not that I found myself… unattractive. I just thought I could try one night without wearin' them. Which was really stupid, considerin’ I’ve almost died at least twice.”
You pursued your lips as you caught a whiff of his scent on his leather jacket, willing yourself to shut up and flee. As you were supposed to. And yet, as dumb as you sounded, Johnny’s eyes were fixed on yours and did not leave for a moment. He was listening carefully, blocking out the world to hear your silly explanation.
“You’re not unattractive,” he said in a low voice. "I bet they make ya look even prettier."
“How would you know?” your tone matched his, your blood heating another degree.
Johnny came closer, raising his hands to run his thumbs above your cheeks, where your glasses usually fell. His eyes were ringed with dark circles, but they were beautiful. Dark. Full of fantasies.
“Just imaginin’,” his raspy voice sent a hot shiver down your spine. "I've been lookin' at ya since you walked in, but I hadn’t noticed those freckles right there."
Your heart hammered in your chest. It was all going so fast, but the mere thought of slowing things down was absurd. You couldn’t think of anything but feeling his lips on yours. Moving your body with his. Feeling so wanted he might die, and you as well. You usually were careful and rather shy when it came to flirting, but why would you resist the temptation now?
The party didn’t matter. The people out there didn’t matter. Hell, even your friends didn’t matter. It was only you and the man you had checked out (ogled) all night, the man who had made sure you were feeling safe, the man who had caught you in his arms like they did in the movies.
It did feel like a movie anyway. None of this felt real.
“I can’t see much, but you look pretty attractive too,” you dared to say, though you wished you had sounded bolder.
His lips nearly touched yours. The top of your noses did, causing you to chuckle. What was even happening?
“See me better now?” Johnny muttered, angling his face.
"Much better."
"Good."
You had known a few men, kissed a few of them, but nothing had ever come close to this particular moment. Nothing had ever felt so exciting, so hot and passionate. You didn’t want him to forget you. Fuck, you were sure you would think of these minutes until your last breath. You needed to have him, even for a short moment.
Nose-to-nose with a man you didn't even know.
“Johnny?”
“Mmm?”
“I’m gonna kiss you now.”
Emboldened by his widening smile, you closed what little distance was left between your mouths and pressed a soft kiss against his lips, just testing the waters. You hadn’t expected it to feel that good. Like a taste of heaven. Gripping his shoulders, you drew yourself high against his chest and slipped your tongue into his mouth, a tiny sound mixing with a groan of his. His hands pressed against your back, holding your waist like a fragile doll as yours slid to the back of his head. Fuelled by the need to make him moan again, you wrapped both arms up around his neck until you were shamelessly making out on the grass, wishing he could do something to alleviate the burning in your body. It was bewitching.
You were out of breath when you landed on your feet again, as though you had just taken a trip to the stars for a minute. Clearly, Johnny was as dazed as you were.
Looking over his shoulder, you found no less than ten faces peering out the window, and a couple more watching from the front porch. Smoking. You bet your friends had seen it all.
“Shit,” you whispered, at a loss for words.
Johnny ran his thumb over your lip, his eyes tracing his own movements as he did. ‘Tell me where ya live.”
Forgetting everything about the safety rules you had always followed when it came to men, you whispered, “Next to the shoe store. I work there on weekends.”
The detail had slipped out, but you just wished he would suggest picking you up someday. Don’t let him forget you, your brain kept saying. You couldn’t be anticipating the saddest goodbye of your life yet.
“You’re workin’ tomorrow?”
A bit of hope flickered in your chest. Men usually fucked off after getting what they wanted, but he seemed really into you. That was unreal.
“Tomorrow’s Friday,” you grinned playfully, chuckling as he nodded.
"Tomorrow’s Friday," Johnny repeated, realizing his mistake. "Guess I don’t wanna spend one day waitin’ to see ya again."
“Me either,” you admitted lowly, removing a strand of hair sticking to your lips. “You can—you can still come on Saturday, if you want to.”
“You’ve been on a motorcycle before?”
You shook your head, wondering why you felt so bashful all of a sudden. Johnny’s lips curved at your hesitancy, holding your gaze for a moment. His eyes full of promises again.
“Hmm. Ya should leave before I keep ya out here with me,” he declared, snapping you out of your thoughts as he squeezed your hip gently and stepped backward.
And with that, the moment was gone.
“Saturday, then?” you asked, just to make sure.
You sounded almost desperate, but you couldn’t care. There was something scary about being so attracted to someone so fast. What if a simple change of heart left you heartbroken?
“Saturday,” Johnny confirmed, making it sound like it was years away.
You dropped your gaze for a second and raised it again to look at him one last time, the steadying sounds of your breathings filling the cold air. Johnny broke the eye-contact to check that your friends were still standing in the distance.
“Ya need help walkin’ over there?”
The question made you smile. “I’ll be alright. I’ll try to walk in a straight line and avoid people."
Johnny’s stare could have been a good reason to stay with him and let him keep you, but after a second of hesitancy, you willed yourself to utter a small ‘Well, see you, then’. You made a beeline to your friends, blinking a couple of times as though your vision would become clear again.
You shot one look behind. Johnny was waiting for you to reach the others, not moving.
They all shouted in your ear when you stepped on the tiled floor, but you weren’t listening. Just thinking of how fast it all could change when you least expected it. You weren't fully sure he'd really show up in two days, so you crossed your fingers during the whole ride back home and hoped he wouldn't forget. You were already longing for this man’s touch.
𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐄𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐍: Mutual Masturbation w/ Neighbor!Bucky Barnes
a/n: sometimes i surprise myself with the shit that i write and i'm just like wow... that shit really came out of my brain?!?! this one kind of gave me a run for my money but i did it and now i'm going to hide under a rock! See ya!
masterlist | kinktober masterlist | AO3
You knew he was watching, and you knew that he knew. Why would you leave the curtains of your room open if you didn't?
The fact that he was probably touching himself to the sight of you made you want to put on a performance for him.
You acted oblivious at first, innocently climbing onto your bed and settling your back against the headboard. Your eyes were locked on your phone as you scrolled to your favorite twitter porn account. You bit your lip at the sight of the erotic videos, your hand slipping underneath the hem of your shorts and panties where the tips of your fingers met your damp slit.
You teasingly stroked yourself, eyes trained on the woman getting fucked from behind, her ass jiggling hypnotizingly shaking from the man's rough thrusts. Your stomach twisted in excitement, the giddy feeling only growing as you had begun to stimulate your clit. You forced yourself to stop, and nervously raised your eyes to the window that faced yours.
Your breath caught in your throat at the sight of Bucky seated in a chair that looked out of place from the room he was in. It was obvious that he moved it in there with the intent of watching you. The lights around him were dim, but you could still see him; his eyes were narrowed, and his cock was in his hand, slowly stroking himself.
You kept eye contact with him as you dragged the clothes off of your lower body, revealing your plush thighs, soft stomach, and glistening pussy.
You could have sworn you saw him take an intake of breath, his chest rising momentarily before deflating.
Spreading your legs, you continued to touch yourself, the pads of your fingers pressing down on your clit and moving and slow circle motions. Your hips jolted at the pleasurable feeling, a breathy moan slipping between your lips.
You had completely forgotten about the porn playing on your phone. If you were going to be honest, you imagined that the people having sex in the video were Bucky and you.
You'd had a crush on your dilfy neighbor ever since you moved in. Even though the two of you live in two separate buildings, your meeting had been a complete accident. Ever since that fateful day where your eyes met, something clicked, and every single meeting from then on was premeditated.
Tonight was the night where you went far. Sure, you'd walked in front of your window in just your towel when you saw that his curtains were open, sometimes even allowing him to catch you in your bra and underwear. Though you appeared to be shy whenever he'd "catch" you, you knew exactly what you were doing, and you knew that he knew too.
"Bucky…" You whimpered, emphasizing his name on your lips so he could read them. His jaw tightened and the pace in which he was stroking his cock grew faster.
"Finger yourself." You saw his lips read, and your skin flushed, but nonetheless you obliged, stopping your slow rubbing to sink two fingers into yourself.
Your lips parted almost pornographically. Your free hand shot up to grip at your shirt covered breasts, teasing your nipple through the thin material of the cloth.
"Fuck!" You swore in pleasure, your fingers curving to caress your g-spot. Your legs twitched at the tingles that shot up your spine. That familiar coil of overstimulation twisted in your gut, coaxing you, and with Bucky touching himself, you were drowning in temptation, in sin.
This was not what you had expected when you decided to move, but God— if it wasn't a good idea.
My Moonlight (Daemon x Reader)
So this was requested by an anon. Once again this was a challenge but I hope I did it justice, let me know if it’s shit but… Enjoy!
It was a cold winter night when princess Alyssa gave birth to not one but two children, prince Daemon and princess (y/n), legend has it (y/n) would wail until she laid next to her twin brother. When princess Alyssa held her daughter he saw herself in the babes eyes, they held the same glimpse of strength and resilience, she was called “the fire of the realm”, the greatest thing was during the labour the wild dragon sheep stealer landed outside the keep.
Once princess Alyssa heard the news she was up on her feet with her twin children in her arms to meet the dragon, (y/n) was the one that sheep stealer had chosen as the dragon sniffed around her and then sat down on the ground, it almost looked like the dragon bowed for the princess, it was not as big in size as Caraxes yet he made up for it with its ill temper and ferocious attitude, it would only listen and obey to (y/n) which caused a lot of problems to the dragon keepers, the dragon was named blaze “it’s only fitting for the realms fire to ride her blaze” she liked to joke.
As the years passed the twins were attached at the hip and the court would joke about how they were the same person. (Y/n) and Daemon would often get in trouble due to the obsession they had for one another, (y/n) had a habit of grabbing little girls by their hair and drag them when they attempted to come close to her brother and Daemon had to be pulled off from other boys that would offer flowers to the princess. Their father would look at them as a continuation of the love he had shared with their deceased mother, it was no coincidence that they looked identical either, two bodies that shared one soul.
“we were born together, we will die together”
Prince Daemon would frequently answer when he was questioned about (y/n). (Y/n) and Daemon could not be tamed by rules, she had given her Maidenhead to Daemon before their betrothal was even announced, whispers of how prince Daemon had taken (y/n) behind a brother at the street of silk spread like fire, they were partially true what they forgot to mention was that (y/n) had dragged Daemon in a dark alley to mountain him, she was insatiable.
“It feels like I am being fucked by myself”
She whispered to him, Daemon laughed but did not oppose to her declare, their resemblance was uncanny and oddly arousing, seeing themselves in one another made it more fun for them, their facial expression matching as their were twisted with pleasure was exciting to say the least.
Both of them were intoxicated by love, they were ruthless as the green eyed monster of jealousy drove them to insanity, their antics baffled everyone as for example their brother Viserys had roared with anger when (y/n) slapped Rhaenyra at her own wedding for dancing and whispering to her lord husbands ear. (Y/n) was restrained by Daemon and was forced out, later a soldier heard their groans of pleasure as Daemon had pushed her against a wall to “teach her a lesson”.
Daemon had taken it a step further as he beheaded her knight for listing after his lady wife, the truth was the knight had just held the princess by the waist when she tripped over and Daemon did not appease to how the knight went about it.
The birthing bed was a place (y/n) would frequent with Daemon by her side as he whispered to her words of encouragement, the ended up having 8 kids, her eldest was a son that (y/n) already carried in her belly when the wedding ceremony was held, she named him Baelon, the second one was twin girls Alyssane and Alyssa, the fourth was another boy named Maegor, then there was Eleana, after her came Rhaegal that gave his mother quite a fright since he decided to arrive earlier than expected, and the last ones were another daughter pair of twins named Visenya and Helias a girl and a boy naturally they all looked like the same person just different heights and personalities, the family resided at dragon stone that Viserys had passed to his siblings, away from duty and boring court gatherings, they showed up when they wished not when they were summoned, on one hand it was a relief since having them around meant chaos would erupt, on the other no one knew when they would strike
“My moonlight”
Daemon called his sister wife who waited for him at the dragon pit with their children. Daemon took (y/n)s hand and placed a sweet kiss on the womans knuckles, he looked up to admire his ever defiant wife.
(Y/n) was dressed in a marvellous black and red outfit and stood next to her dragon, the first to run to Daemon was his youngest Visenya, her long dirty blonde hair swinging as she hugged his fathers leg. Daemon picked her up and held his daughter tightly, she was a spitting image of her parents of course, the only difference was that she was the one to inherit her grandmothers eyes, one was blue and the other was violet.
“How is my little princess?”
“Mother said I can ride my dragon”
“ The dragonkeepers said it’s safe and the red keep is a short flight from here”
“What amazing news”
Daemon beamed, all of their children had dragon eggs in their cradle, unfortunately a few did not hatch including Maegors, however that was quickly forgotten due to (y/n) and daemon flying with their kids to find unclaimed dragons when Maegor had found Cannibal and claimed him he came back riding, in his mothers eyes Maegor was destined to become a legend, the dragon was later named “Gaelithox”.
Daemon had assisted his little girl up on her completely white dragon, Visenya had named him “moonlight” after the nickname Daemon had for (y/n).
“Allow me my love”
“No need”
(Y/n) dismissed her husbands hand and sat on her dragons saddle. Daemon scoffed as he shook his head, of course she would not take his hand, (y/n) never yearned for assistance even if it came from her husband. The flight was short yet blissful, they all went up to the sky side by side and listened to little Visenyas squeals of joy, (y/n) puffed her chest with pride as she gazed at the little girl. Helias had claimed Vermithor, (y/n) had taken the small babe up in the sky with her dragon when she spotted vermithor, something told her to land next to the lonely dragon, it was then that the dragon chose the child as its new rider.
Once they landed their son caught up to his little sister and picked her off her dragon, Maegor was over protective of his siblings. Viserys waited outside for his brother and sister along with his wife, Alicent.
“Daemon and (y/n)! Welcome home”
“My dearest brother, how I’ve missed you”
(Y/n) loved Viserys, it was only for her that Viserys tolerated Daemons rebellious acts. Viserys placed his hands on (y/n)s stomach as his face showed admiration.
“Gods be good sister, your family is a sight for sore eyes, dragon stone seems to have their hands full with heirs”
“our mother unfortunately did not live long enough to make the army she wished for our father, I hope she is smiling down on me for my effort”
“The mother seems to be quite gracious with her blessings for princess (y/n)”
Alicent spoke lightly, (y/n)s eyes focused on her, (y/n) was never fond of the hightowers, she found them repulsive and vicious, lowlife rats that raised their hopes up to take over the Targaryen throne.
“Goddess Meleys was on our side that is correct”
“And let me take a good look at Rhaegal, my daughter is a lucky woman”
Rhaegal was to be wed to Helaena, Rhaegal had grown fond of the princesses innocence and kind heart, he would often ride his dragon to be by her side for as long as he could.
(Y/n) and Daemon pushed their pride aside for their son and allowed the match, they also thought how it would serve for their son to be wed to heleana when Rhaenyra ascends the throne, if their children take over the hightowers they would not go against the princess.
“Let us go inside, Rhaenyra has been waiting for you”
(Y/n)s mask slipped for a quick moment, she could recall the encounter that occurred during her wedding, she shared a look with her husband that made Daemon place his one hand around her waist and the other to hold her hand tightly, the last thing he needed was for his sister wife to be cross with him.
“Princess Rhaenyra it’s been far too long”
“Indeed it has my dear aunt, i see you have been quite busy growing your family”
Rhaenyra hugged her aunt and then took a step back to bow at her uncle, (y/n) smirked at the encounter and Rhaenyras timid behaviour, at least the slap had taught her a lesson.
“And your children have grown, Jacaerys, Lucerys and Joffrey isn’t it?”
“Correct, they were far younger when you last saw them”
“Visenya and Helias were babes, you don’t remember them do you sweetlings?”
Daemon once again picked up little Visenya. The girl shook her head before she hid her face at her fathers neck making everyone’s heart melt. Daemon rubbed her back while (y/n) lifted her son Helias in her arms, Helias seemed intrigued by Rhaenyra since he stared right in her eye, he was the adventurous one.
“I believe the children should go to the gardens, mingle amongst themselves”
(Y/n) suggested, they did not come all the way here to have some family quality time. Naturally Maegor went up to his father so he came hold little Visenya, she was a shy child who adored her brother. Alyssa went to her mother to lure Helias away with sweets, he was always a mothers boy so he needed a tad bit of convincing to leave his mothers arms.
As the children walked away it was only (y/n), Daemon, Viserys, Alicent and Rhaenyra in the room. An awkward silence fell as the three women sized each other up while the men stood completely still, waiting to see the women’s reaction.
“How is your son Baelon?”
“He should be here any minute now with his wife Laena and of course their two daughters, my son has informed me that princess Rhaenyra is interested to betroth Jacaerys and Lucerys with Baela and Raena”
“Indeed, the children seem quite fond of each other”
Rhaenyra responded diplomatically, (y/n) could detect that she was weaponising the children’s feelings so she wouldn’t go against it.(Y/n) nodded as she held back all the sly comments that passed through her mind, her grandchildren would marry the two bastards, what a mess and might she add a waste of Valyrian blood, Baelon was the one that tried to reason with his mother and allow the match, Baelon wished for his daughters to be happy as well as see Baela ascend to the throne with her lord husband.
“Well since we are are discussing the topic of betroths I would like to propose a match”
“What do you have in mind sister?”
“Alyssa has been betrothed to her brother Maegor but I would like to suggest that we betroth my other daughter Eleana to your son Aemond, our families I have been divided for so long it is time we put our differences aside, as well as keep the blood of old Valyria pure”
(Y/n)s eyes shifter for only a moment to take a look at Rhaenyra, Viserys smiled brightly at the proposal while Alicent froze in her spot, (y/n) has noticed that Alicent has a soft spot for her son Aemond so if he was to marry Eleana meant there would be another woman influencing her loyal soldier.
“What a splendid idea my dearest (y/n), Eleana is more than my son would have wished for, isn’t that right my queen?”
“I supposed, Aemond would be a… wonderful husband”
Everyone with eyes could detect Alicents uneasiness at the proposal, Eleana was a force to be reckoned with, an excellent archer and a mighty dragon rider, her spirit would not be silenced under Alicents influence, quite the contrary Alicent feared for her son being dragged away from her reach and follow his wife in whatever she wished, which was why (y/n) suggested it.
Alicent could feel it how every move was calculated and an attempt to shoot down anything the hightowers might have in mind. Aemond was a family oriented man, if him and Eleana were to have children he would never turn against his own kin, Heleana was to be wed to her other son so as a wife and a gentle soul she would comply with her husbands wishes, one of them was for Heleana to move to dragon stone after the ceremony. (Y/n) was already taking away her only daughter and now she planted a spy in his sons chamber.
“May I ask dear sister, what about your daughter Alyssane? Our son Aegon might-“
“No”
Daemon spoke up for the first time. He had heard stories of the nuisance that was Aegon, “a waste of a name” he called him when he was brought in question, Daemon had grown the closest to his daughter Alyssane, she was an exquisite sword woman and a perfect diplomat, he would never throw his daughter to the low life that was his nephew. (Y/n) squeezed her husband hand and smiled at him, her smile seemed warm although Daemon caught on quickly that it was his first and last warning.
“Alyssane is a free spirit my king, we’ve had numerous discussions about her and Aegon that led nowhere, she is adamant to marry Lord Cregan Stark, he has already send ravens to us asking for her hand, I think you can understand I cannot go against true love”
(Y/n) spoke the truth, her daughter Alyssane was keen on marrying Cregan stark, a fine young prince that would support their daughter and make her the queen of the north, what was a flat out lie was the “numerous discussions”, Alyssane and her parents had never discussed that option, Aegon was not their problem.
Before their plans could go any further they were interrupted by the guards bursting in the room.
“My apologies but you must come to the gardens, Prince Maegor has attacked prince Aegon”
“My child”
Alicent made haste and flew out the room leaving the others stunned. (Y/n) eyeballed her husband, their tight bond came in handy in these situations when they had to communicate with just their eyes. Everyone moved as fast they could and were met with Maegor being held back by three guards as Alicent inspected her son for injuries.
“What is the meaning of this?”
Daemons voice was loud and clear, Maegor had a temper but had never acted with violence without reason. Maegor gained back his composure when he realised his parents were present, (y/n) went to walk to her son as the guards led him go.
“What is the meaning? Your son is a savage, my children are once again met with cruelty of your family”
“Your grace let us not jump to conclusions, Maegor as your mother I demand to know what happened”
Maegor remained silent. As he looked at his sister he thought of what to say, he did not regret his actions yet once his mother came in his vision he felt embarrassed over his temper.
“Maegor I won’t ask twice”
“He wanted to bet money that he could fuck Alyssa”
Maegor interrupted his mother with his voice rising due to anger. It was like time stopped when Maegor made the accusation known, Maegor was defending his sister that was his soon to be wife.
Aegon was unaware that his uncle was standing behind him when he spoke with such disgusting words over his sisters. Alyssa and Alyssane were playing out a sword fight while Eleana and Visenya sat on the grass with Heleana and watched, the sons of Rhaenyra had ran off somewhere with Rhaegal and Aegon had turned to his brother Aemond to demise Maegors sisters. He was about to jump in the conversation so he can make Aegon stop talking when he heard of the bet, that was what made him lose his mind.
“Is that true Aegon?”
Alicent questioned in a state of shock. If what Maegor had stated was correct then it was another stab on Alicents back, her own son had betrayed her and left them exposed to the hungry wolves that was (y/n) and Daemon.
Aegon remained silent and (y/n) found this as an opportunity to approach the boy and land one harsh slap on his already bruised face. Alicent nor anyone else did not dare to stop her, he had crossed a line and spoke ill of her daughter, if it was the other way around Alicent would have done the same. Daemon admired his twin with his head held high as she grabbed Aegon by the chin and forced him on his knees in front of her son Maegor.
“Alyssa, go to your brother Maegor”
Alyssa did as told and wrapped her hand around Maegor after she leaned her head on his shoulder. Alyssa and Maegor were in love ever since they were toddlers, even if Maegor was younger he always protected his siblings and although he struggles with intimacy (y/n) recalled when Maegor would slip a small daisy in Alyssa’s books every day or how she waited for him to find a dragon so they could fly together, Alyssa had claimed silverwing when the dragon came out of hiding on Alyssanes and Alyssa’s first name day.
“Apologise to them”
“What?”
“You heard her boy, apologise to them”
Daemon repeated as he had approached his wife who stayed next to the kneeling boy. Aegon looked back at his mother for help yet to no avail, he had created this mess he was going to come out of it by his own.
“I…. I am sorry”
“For what?”
“I am sorry for speaking in a low manner about Alyssa”
“If I hear that you even looked at any of my daughters way, I will cut off your hands and your cock so I can feed it to you. Understood?”
Aegon only nodded in fear of (y/n)s wrath. She took her eyes of Aegon who was clearly beaten with quite the strength from Maegor and took a few steps to stand at the head of her son. Maegors posture was proud and there was no sight of remorse in his eyes as they laid upon his mother. Everyone held their breath as (y/n) handled the matter, all of Westeros were familiar with how far Daemon and (y/n) would go for their children, gods save the man that would harm their family. A small smirk appeared in (y/n)s lips as she reached up to caress her sons cheek
“You are your fathers son, I am proud of you my dear Maegor”
Tingles and Giggles - Chapter Two - Tyler Owens x Reader
Get caught up with Chapter One! Masterlist :)
Chapter Two - Boys and Their Toys
After another drink or two, chatting with Juniper from Atmosphere Aces and Willow from your team, you finally stood from your seat and put a $50 on the bar then walked out the front door of the Dust Devil and headed across the street to the Twister Trail Motel. The whole town of Prairie Winds was practically based on it being in tornado alley and being the main place storm chasers would stop while out chasing.
As soon as you were a few steps away from the front door, you heard it open again and footsteps behind you, a small part of you hoped it would be Tyler.
“(Y/n)!” The voice called, it not being Tyler.
You turned around to see Finn, the camera guy and driver for your team, the Storm Riders.
“Hey, Finn! What’s up?” You asked, him stepping up beside you.
“I was just curious as to what’s goin’ on with you and Owens, I saw you both get kinda close while dancing and then again while at the bar,” he started to ramble, one of his classic traits when he was drinking, “I just worry about you, since you’re like a big sister to me and we’ve known each other since you were in high school and I was in middle school, I would just hate for your heart to get broken by some idiot cowboy.”
“Finn. Finn,” you tried to interrupt.
“I don’t think I could live with myself if he hurt you and I didn’t try to stop something from happening. Your parents would kill me as they made me promise to keep you safe out here,” he kept going. You couldn’t help but chuckle at him, putting your hands on his arms.
“FINN,” you said sternly, jolting him out of his rampage.
“W-What?” He stuttered while catching his breath, you both realized he hadn't taken a breath that whole time.
“I will be fine, he just wants to take me out to dinner tomorrow night,” you said, dragging Finn to your side while walking to the motel, “I know you feel like it’s your job to protect me, but you need to remember that I am a few years older than you and know how to handle myself.”
He sighed, “I know, I just would hate for you to get heartbroken again…”
You stopped in the middle of the road and pulled Finn in close. He was one of the only people you trusted back in your early 20s. He was one of your go-to people, aside from your best friend Willow, whom you went to after your breakup with Derek who you had been with for almost five years. He had moved to New York to go to college and after a week of hardly talking to one another, the girl he was cheating on you with slipped up and accidentally tagged him in a post of them kissing on Instagram. The next day you sent everything he owned to his college dorm including the heart necklace he gave you for your birthday the last year you were together, along with a very long letter on tear-stained paper that you had written the night before while your heart was breaking with every word you wrote.
“I will be okay, Finny,” you said, rubbing his back, “I’ll let you know if anything goes wrong or he does something stupid.”
“Promise, (Y/n/n)?” He asked, holding out his pinkie finger.
You linked your pinkie with him, “I promise. Now go back into the bar and have some fun, it’s forecasted for clear skies the rest of the week.”
“You got it!” He said, pulling you into an embrace one last time before running back into the bar.
You laughed and shook your head, then turned and walked back to the motel. Before heading up the stairs outside of your room, you decided to stop by your blue F-350 dually truck that was parked right next to Tyler’s red Ram 3500 dually. You pressed the unlock button on your key fob, the headlights shining brightly across to the bar. Earlier you had already brought your suitcase to your room, but you wanted to double-check that you had everything extra that you picked up in Thunderbird Bluff, the last town you were in.
While digging under the seats you grabbed onto a cloth object, pulling it out becoming confused as all your clothes were in your suitcase. You held it up in the dim lights provided by the motel to see a tornado, the red truck you were parked next to, and a cartoon face of Tyler on the front of the shirt, the words being “not my first tornadeo” across it.
You threw the shirt over your shoulder and smirked remembering Dani giving it to you after you got caught in an EF3 with your shirt getting torn off as you were on your way back from a smaller wedding in a field for Jade and Tristan, both members of Storm Riders.
After shutting the truck doors, you locked it and turned toward the stairs, only to be startled by Tyler leaning against his truck with his cowboy hat in his hands.
“Mighty nice of you to blind half the bar with those pretty headlights of yours,” he said, using his hat to gesture to the front of your truck.
“Oh shit,” you mumbled, your hand covering your mouth, “Oops.”
He chuckled, “I figured I’d come out to make sure you weren’t skippin’ town on me after I asked you out.”
“Even if I did, Owens, you’d find me one way or another,” you stated, walking over to the stairs.
“Like my saying goes, sweetheart,” he started, “if you feel it.”
“Chase it,” you said, going up a few steps to the first landing.
“See, you’re gettin’ it,” he said, leaning against the stair railing and looking up at you, “Is that one of the Tornado Wrangler shirts?”
You hoped he wouldn’t see that, but he snatched it off your shoulder to hold it up.
“It was the only option I had after Jade and Tristan’s wedding,” you said, rubbing your forehead as you were starting to get tired and just wanted to head to your room, “You can have it, I don’t think it would look good if I wore a rival team’s shirt.”
“But darlin’, you’d look good in my shirt,” he said while smirking and holding it up to your figure.
“Very cheesy,” you said, walking up the stairs farther.
“What do you say about tomorrow afternoon?” He asked, folding the shirt up and tossing it up to you.
“I’m sure I’m free, most of the team will sleep until mid-morning due to the hangovers they’ll get from tonight,” you laughed, gesturing over to the bar where the music was still blaring.
“Same with the wranglers, except Dexter, he snuck out the back and headed to bed an hour or so ago,” he said, laughing, “You know how those scientists are.”
“Yeah, I’m surprised Tristan and Sage from Atmosphere Aces are still partying it up,” you said, leaning over the railing and looking down at Tyler.
“Maybe we can get breakfast in the morning?” He asked, “Down at JoAnn’s Whirlwind diner…”
“I’d like that, they have the best apple pie in the county,” you said, smiling, “Should we take Lil Blue here or are we takin’ Ol Red?”
“How dare you think I’d be caught dead in a Ford, darlin,” he chuckled, “I won’t go anywhere without Ol Red.”
“As I figured, boys and their toys,” you giggled to yourself, turning around and unlocking the door to your room.
“What was that little lady?” He asked, putting his hat back on and putting his hands on his hips while shifting his weight to one side.
“I said goodnight, Tyler,” you said, tossing the bag of necessities on the queen bed you had all to yourself.
“I don’t think that was it,” he said, shaking his head, “But I’ll let it slide this once, (Y/n).”
“Like you would do anything otherwise, Ty,” you said as you leaned over the railing one last time before heading inside.
“I’ll have you be aware that my truck is not a TOY,” he stated, shifting his weight to his other hip, “It’s a tornado-wrangling machine!”
You laughed, “Mhmm, sure it is.”
“Goodnight beautiful,” he said, looking up at you and giving you a wink.
“Goodnight, Tyler,” you said, “I’ll see you at JoAnn’s.”
“It’s a date,” he said with the biggest smile you’ve seen on the man in quite some time.
You turned around and walked into your motel room, shutting and locking the door behind you, pressing your forehead to the cool door, smiling and giggling to yourself. While not really believing that you would be going on a date with Tyler Owens, who was basically the biggest heartthrob of the storm-chasing community and most likely all of Tornado Alley. Just thinking about tomorrow and what it held sent tingles down your spine and butterflies around your stomach.
bad liar | Johan Liebert x Reader
Banner Credit: @bunnysrph
Content Warnings: manipulation, inexperience, codependency, seeing through people, psychological play, implied nsfw, but still sfw.
“Do you think your sin will disappear when you lie?”
He’s circling me; it was like we were in a tango. His hands were formally placed in the back, and his mind probably wanders while I bow my head out of pure shame. He’s stripped me off of my dignity, I’m unable to form coherent sentences upon uttering what my pride told me to say.
His hand reached for the right areas, he’s being incredibly unfair. His eyes wandered. It was almost as if he saw right through me. This damn monster.
I refused to look back. I had to keep searching, search for a place to stare blankly into oblivion. I wouldn’t dare look back at the monster’s eyes as he cornered me like a hungry predator. But no, he wasn’t just any predator, he’s just playing dangerously innocent. I felt like a small, curious nymph before his gaze; he looks calm, but definitely not pure. This man was definitely far from being pure, I believe he’s hiding something from the untrained eye.
But I just know he got one or two things on his mind.
I bit my lip. My thoughts are filled with nothing but inner despair—I had to be careful with what I chose to mutter.
“I’m not lying, you’re just…..you’re just assuming things about me. I know myself far better than you do, Johan.”
“Johan, huh?” he asked, his bedroom eyes cornering me. I wasn’t looking up at him, but I can feel his haunting lips shape a crooked smile while I could only wish to escape. “Those sweet old memories of me going by that name. I’m quite surprised you’d catch up to me by deciding to pick up my call.”
“I answered your call out of respect,” I replied. “It’s not….it’s not like I like you or anything….”
“Oh? But you’re trembling. Are you perhaps curious? They say curiosity killed the cat, and it seems to me as if I dragged the cat in.”
“What?”
“Don’t play innocent, missy. You know your intentions have been quite obvious.”
“I don’t exactly know what you’re talking about, Johan.” I frowned at his remarks.
“I was just testing the waters. And it turned out that my then assumptions were correct. [Name], let’s be clear. You know very well that no one would want to sleep with you tonight, right?”
“Wha- I never said that!” I exclaimed.
“You never said anything, indeed. In fact, you never really say much. You don’t really do much, [Name].”
“So that means, you just called me for nothing?” I retorted.
He’s pausing. He looked elsewhere. This was my time to run away. He seems defeated. This was my chance. I tried to push him away. Not literally. I tried to deny him. I lifted my foot and stared at the exit.
“Staring into space, little one? Perhaps I can help with that.”
“Let go!” I retaliated. He raised his eyebrow at my response thereafter. “Oh, I’m sorry, I….didn’t mean to frighten you or anything. I just….I don’t know. Do I actually spend the night?”
“Sssshhhh…..you’re not leaving. Spend the night.”
He’s pulling me closer, I try to push him away, but he pulled me in. He’s calm, but his grip was far too strong. Next thing I know, he’s battling for access. I shivered, no fucking way. I struggled against his grasp, not because I didn’t like it, but because of my fears.
What if he’d discard me after this?
He pulled away.
“Such a sensitive, fragile little angel.” Johan smiled, tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear. He smiled. Even his smile was fake. “I’m glad you picked up the phone.”
I frowned at the remark.
“Why the sour face, angel? I just tell it like it is.”
I can’t speak, I can’t retaliate. But he’s got me in a trance, so I gave in. He’s there to show me the ropes, and that’s all I could ever lean on for the rest of my life.
“You’re lying to yourself. Is it a lie you don’t just tell yourself, but to me as well? Too bad. I see through you.”
“I-“
“You’re trembling. Is it because of fear? Or is it simply because you can’t stand one day looking away from me?”
“No.”
“You’re lying once again, so typical of your kind indeed.”
He lowered his voice, he’s being cruel. I tried to object but he pulled me in, and he’s losing his patience. I closed my eyes, not because I didn’t want it to stop.
It felt good, far too good.
The time ticked. I could hear the clock ticking as he slowly, yet skillfully explored every inch of me. Well, not all inches, but just the right amount. It was painfully awkward, but he pulled off our confrontation so well.
Then everything came to a halt.
That intoxicating voice of his spoke once more.
“I guess it’s time for you to reach home. I have one last thing to ask of you before we part ways.”
“What is it, Johan?” I asked.
“Don’t ever make me forget you.”
Time Together (Teen Titan!Dick Grayson!Robin x Reader)
A/N: Hello! He is an imagine from a time before that I am really proud of. Enjoy!
WC: 1,529
Original Link
It wasn't always easy, with him at the tower almost 24/7 and me working a full-time job. We still made it work. A lot of nights would end with him coming through my window and complaining that I shouldn't keep it open. I only kept it open for him, and he knew that. His time at my apartment was always content, gave him a reason to be out of that Goddamn suit. We would watch a movie or infomercials. Cuddled up together without a care, soft kisses and hand-holding being fairly common in these times. It was always something we looked forward too.
(Y/N)'s POV I had only been to the tower a handful of times. Mostly when everyone else on the team was out. He liked to keep me his secret, even though he had plenty of secrets from them. I understood though, not being in the "business" and all. He wants to keep me safe. It honestly surprised me when he texted me to come to the tower.
It was late as I crept to were Dick had said to meet him. It was probably 2 AM, thankfully I don't have work tomorrow. I was standing on a beach that was connected to the water that surrounded the tower. Getting fed up with waiting, I decided to start walking back to my car. I had parked it about four blocks away. As I started to walk back to it I heard my name. "(Y/n)! Wait!" It was Dick. "And I thought you weren't going to show up." I said with a smile on my face. I honestly was really happy to see him, even in full gear.
"I'm sorry I kept you waiting. I got caught up in something." He smiled at me then engulfed me into a hug. I had to pull myself away from him. "So, what did you want to meet about out here?" I asked, very confused about why we were meeting here. "Well, I kinda have a surprise for you in the tower." He proceeded to scratch the back of his neck, "As long as we're quite we shouldn't wake anyone." I looked at him unsurely. Yes, I had been in the tower before but not when the team was there.
"I'm not sure Dick, should we really take that chance?" I stepped away from him as I said that. I really wasn't prepared to meet his team if someone does wake up. Especially at 2 AM! "It'll be fine (Y/N), we just got to sneak around till we get to your surprise." I agreed as we started to walk to the small motorboat he had taken from the tower to the small beach. Thankfully the engine wasn't too loud and we got to the tower without notifying anyone, I hope.
Once we were in the tower we took an elevator to a floor, I hadn't seen the number Dick pushed because he had me held in his arms so tight I could barely move. Once we got out of the elevator we walked slowly towards the end of the hall. He was, basically, dragging me down it. We got to a bathroom. "Umm, Babe..." I said trying to refrain from using his real name, "Why are we at a bathroom?" I laughed for a good minute before he just opened the door and walked in.
In the bathroom were candles lit and a bubble bath run for both of use. Flower petals were scattered on the floor and in the water. "Oh, wow!" That's all I could say as I stared at it in awe. "Do you like it? I thought it would be nice." He had a little bit of doubt in his voice. Like I wouldn't like it. "I love it." I moved over to him and gave him a kiss. Just a peck but enough to make his doubt go away. I started to stripe my clothes. Shoes, socks, shirt, and pants. I noticed Dick hadn't taken anything off yet.
"Are you going to join me or not?" I asked then proceeded to take my bra and panties off. I glanced at him as I walked towards the tub. He quickly took off his suit, wasting no time. He stepped into the tub and sat in front of me. "I thought we could relax together and your apartment doesn't have a tub," He started to talk about something else but all I could focus on was his face. He still had his mask on but I could tell he was excited to just be with me tonight.
I moved over so that I was sitting in between his legs. His arms going straight to my waist to hold me. We sat there for nothing but a few minutes, even though it felt like hours. Nothing was better than being in Dick's arms. He moved and grabbed a cup that was sitting next to the tub. "What are you doing?" I smiled while I looked at him, so confused. "I'm going to wash your hair. You know, like before." Oh, how you did know. When you still lived in Gotham with your Father/Mother, they would always leave for days on end for business. Dick would come over and stay with you.
We would always end up taking a bath. Mostly because we were both stressed and just need to be near each other. With him out fighting crime and me trying to get both of use though high school. I did most of his homework, I swear. I was always nice just be together, even just for a little bit. We would wash each other hair and talk about nothing. It was some of my favorite memories with him.
Dick started to pour some water onto my head, covering my eyes with his other hand. He did it multiple times before my whole head was wet. Continuing, he opened an unlabeled bottle and poured its contents onto his hand. As Dick scrubbed my scalp I leaned back into him. Relaxing a bit, noting that it smelled like strawberries. "Does it feel good?" All I could do was hum at him. To content to talk. Dick continued to wash my hair until he felt it was clean enough. Fishing the cup out of the water, he covers my eyes. "I don't want to get soap in them." He started to rinse my hair until all the suds were out of it. He pushed some of my hair away and kissed my cheek. I turned my head so I could kiss him. It turned a little heated but ended so I could tell him to turn around.
Now sitting facing him I took the cup from him. Quickly filling it up and pouring over his head. I smiled at him as I continued. "So, how are things around here?" It wasn't a question I asked often but I still liked to know sometimes. I poured some of the same strawberry shampoo he used on me into my hands. "It's the same I guess. Not a lot goes on." I knew that was bull but I didn't push the issue. I didn't really want to know what he would say if I do. I scrubbed his head as we sat in silence. It wasn't an uncomfortable silence, it just silence we had gotten used to when being alone together.
Rising his hair, I realized that I had wrapped my legs around his waist. My ankles were even linked. When his hair was finally free of soap suds he leaned towards me and wrapped his arms around me. I did the same. We ended up staying in that position and just talked about little things.
It ended up being two hours later before we knew it. Time can really go by when you're with someone you love. We washed each other's bodies by then. I had my back to his chest laying in his embrace when we started to look at the time. "It's 4 AM, we should probably get out." He looked at me sadly, not wanting to leave yet. "I don't wanna." I stated, looking at him with puppy dog eyes. "I mean you could always stay for breakfast with me... And the team." The team...
"Fine." That's all I said before I stood up in the tub, grabbing a towel. I dried off and started to re-dress when Dick got out of the tub. I waited for him to get ready before leaving the bathroom, not wanting to get caught. "Let's get you back to your car."
We were both quite to the motorboat. We were honestly quite the whole way to my car. Dick had insisted to walk me to it. Now we were at it and I didn't know what to say. Great night, see you next week?! That wasn't really what I was looking for. "I love you (Y/N)." Dick said it so fast and so abruptly I almost did release he said anything. "I love you too Dick." I leaned in to kiss him and then I got into my car. Waving as I drove off.
Billy Hargrove x PlatonicFem!reader
Word count: 6,083
Warnings: Nothing too bad. Just Billy being Billy. So, cussing but maybe even a little less of himself actually.
Author’s Note: GURL, I am so sorry. I held onto this for SO long and I didn't mean for it to be over 6k words lmao I am so hard on myself when it comes to writing but I decided to just let it free. Nice to meet you, Lillie. ❤️ I hope you like it.
Platonic Soul...Whatever
“Get in here,” you snapped, yanking your best friend into the living room by the scruff of his jacket.
He’d been holed up in the spare room, hiding out like an antisocial pussycat.
Billy huffed, his eyes rolling, clearly pissed at the night you’d planned. But he kept his mouth shut, letting you drag him in without a fight.
You were in the middle of having a housewarming party for the new apartment you moved into last week and the whole gang was there much to Billy’s dismay.
“What’s going on?” you asked, keeping your voice low to keep it just between you two.
Billy was always weird at the get togethers, but he had been getting better at it. Friendly even. But today he was different. Something was eating at him, and it was worrying you.
“And don’t give me ‘nothing.’ I’m not dumb.” You shot him a look that meant business.
He scrunched up his face, lips pressed tight, and looked at you like he was weighing his words.
“It’s nothing,” he said at last. “Just… the usual crap back home.” He shuffled his feet, looking anywhere but at you.
“Billy…did he—” you started, your eyes scanning him for any sign of trouble.
He shook his head quickly.
“No, not this time. But I gotta head out early tonight, okay?” His blue eyes were hard when he looked at you.
To anyone else, it might look like anger, but you knew it was something else. Sadness. And it looked all kinds of wrong on him.
You wanted to dig deeper, but now wasn’t the time, not with everyone else around.
You gave him another once-over, didn’t see any harm, and nodded.
“Alright, Hargrove.”
He let out a sigh of relief, probably glad he didn’t have to spill it all.
You noticed his hand twitch toward his pocket, then drop. He remembered the no-smoking rule in your place. You couldn’t help but smile.
“Alright,” you said, fixing his jacket and giving him a pat.
“Go have your smoke. When you’re ready, come back in.” You winked, letting him know it was cool.
Billy’s head shake was subtle, his face drawn tight. “But, its colder than balls out there.”
It was early December, and the chill was just setting in—nothing compared to what was coming. But Billy always had a thing against the cold. You almost laughed, suddenly thinking back to last winter when he’d ended up ass-first in a snowbank outside your old place.
The guy never gave a damn about rules, but here he was, actually listening to you for once.
You sighed, half-exasperated, half-resigned.
“Fine, light up in the spare room, but for God’s sake, open the damn window.”
He gave a snort, that smug look taking over.
“Cheers, darlin’. The fine women of Hawkins will be singing your praises for saving my… assets from frostbite.”
Classic Billy, always with a line.
“Ewe, dramatic much?” you muttered, rolling your eyes as you headed for the kitchen.
————
As it grew late, the place began to clear out. Nancy and Jonathan, along with their group, were among the first to leave.
You couldn’t help but feel an excitement for Nancy and Jonathan—they’d just spilled they were heading to Emerson College in Boston after the summer.
Nancy’s grip was firm, her eyes like deep pools in the dim light.
“You sure you won’t come with?” she pressed, searching your face for a sign.
Jonathan was all half-smiles and shrugs as he stepped up beside her.
“We could hide you in a suitcase,” he joked, his arm finding its home around Nancy’s shoulders.
You let out a laugh, a short, sharp sound.
“I’ll stick to my own bed, but thanks,” you shot back, catching Billy’s eye for a moment. He was leaning against the wall, a silent lookout.
You weren’t about to ditch without Billy. He was anchored here until Max was done with high school.
That was the unspoken rule between you two. Max was in the dark, but you and Billy had spent a night diving deep into that conversation—his fears of leaving her to deal with Neil alone.
Billy and Max’s relationship had gotten better since that October at the Byers’.
They still snapped at each other like firecrackers, but that was just their way. You’d grown to love having them around.
Max was like the scrappy little sister you’d picked up along the way.
But Billy was different.
He was your solid ground, your constant. You didn’t need to spell things out for him; he just got it. He could dial down your stress with a glance, and you could temper his anger without a word.
It reminded you of something you’d read in a dog-eared book that you checked out from the library: platonic soulmates.
That was the label for what you had with Billy—no bullshit, no fuss, just an unspoken understanding that ran deep.
Billy scoffed at the soulmate idea, brushing it off as a load of crap. But when the book you’d been quoting mysteriously disappeared after that heart-to-heart, you didn’t need three guesses to know who’d snagged it. You let it slide, settling the library fine without a word. It was a small price to pay for the bond you shared with your so-called platonic soulmate.
“The offer’s open,” Nancy reiterated, her voice trailing off as she and the others made their way out.
Mike and Will managed half-hearted waves from the doorway, while El gave you a tight squeeze around the waist before moving on to Billy.
He tensed up, his eyes darting to you in a silent plea for rescue as El’s arms wrapped around him.
You stifled a chuckle. El was the only one brave enough to tackle Billy with affection.
Maybe it was her history with real monsters that made Billy’s temper seem trivial. Or perhaps it was her upbringing with Hopper, another man known for his temperament.
Billy cleared his throat, a hint of discomfort in his voice.
“Okay, don’t need all that,” he mumbled, gently disentangling himself from El’s embrace and stepping back.
His expression grew even more puzzled when El simply beamed at him.
Max stepped in, her arm around El, guiding her towards the door.
"Yeah, El, don't you know?" Max exclaimed, looking over her shoulder at Billy, mischief twinkling in her eyes.
"He's like the Grinch or whatever." She continued, her hands waving about as they walked to the front door.
"He doesn't want to be hugged and cared for because his heart will grow too big for his body, and if you haven't noticed, he already has to worry about falling over with all that hair on top of his head." Her smirk was infectious.
Billy shot Max a flat, unamused look, but you and Mike couldn’t contain your snorts of laughter, which you tried to mask with a cough as Billy’s gaze turned to you.
El, puzzled, studied Billy’s unruly mane and then glanced at Steve’s voluminous hair in the kitchen.
“I don’t see any problem,” she commented innocently.
‘If anyone should be worried, I think Steve would fall over first.’ She glanced between Max, Mike, and you, her eyes wide with uncertainty.
You rolled your eyes as you watched Billy smile smugly as Steve turned toward them upon hearing his name.
Steve looked over, his eyebrow raised in question.
“What’s this about my hair?” he asked, his hand automatically fluffing his locks.
Mike, clearly over the day, rolled his eyes.
“Let’s go, El,” he said, taking her hand and leading her out after the others.
“See ya,” Will murmured softly, his voice barely above a whisper as he followed behind, giving a small wave to the remaining group before disappearing into the night.
You caught a glimpse of his downcast eyes and wondered what could have made him so down.
Steve exhaled a weary breath, the kind that’s been through too many late nights and too early mornings. “Gotta head out,” he said, a half-hearted grin on his face. “New job at the Hunting & Camping store starts tomorrow morning.”
Your eyes narrowed, a quick glance thrown to Steve, then to Robin, who was playing cards at the kitchen table with Lucas and Dustin.
“What about Family Video?” you asked, your voice edged with a hint of suspicion, but it was Robin you were counting on for the truth.
You also worked at Family Video, but whispers of Steve quitting hadn’t reached your ears.
The thought alone was enough to unsettle you. Work with him was one of the few highlights in a job that could often be boring. You really hoped he wasn’t; you genuinely enjoyed working with your two close friends.
Robin didn’t even look up from her cards.
“Don’t worry, he’s still with us,” she called out, her voice steady over the clatter of the game.
“Royal flush!” She stood up, her shout a victory cry.
“Deal with it, boys!” she taunted, pointing at the boys who just shook their heads in defeat.
Lucas was all frustration and disbelief.
“How does she always pull this off?” he muttered, throwing his hands up in surrender.
Dustin’s chair scraped loudly as he stood, his face a mix of annoyance and admiration.
“She’s got some kind of magic or she’s cheating!” he accused, his finger jabbing in Robin’s direction.
Robin’s laugh was sharp and bright.
“I’m not cheating,” she shot back, her hands on her hips, her stance all defiance. “It’s just you two dinguses can’t play.”
A smirk tugged at the corner of your mouth.
“Take it easy, you three,” you said, the sarcasm dripping from every word.
You turned back to Steve, your expression softening just a bit.
“Two jobs, huh?” you said, the tease clear in your voice. “Looks like Harrington’s playing the adult card now.”
Steve’s smile was a blend of resignation and a challenge.
“Dad’s cut me off,” he admitted, a hard edge to his voice. “All about ‘earning my keep’ now. So, I’m doing it my way.”
You nodded, feeling that familiar tug of empathy.
Your own parents had given you the boot when you ditched the college route. They couldn’t wrap their heads around why you’d stick around this nowhere town.
Your fingers twisted together, the old sting of ‘failure’ creeping back up. But then there was Billy, his hand finding yours, giving it a reassuring squeeze. It was his silent way of saying, “We’ve got this.”
You looked up, catching Billy’s eyes. They were a clear, steady blue, like the sky after a storm. His smile was quick, a silent conversation passing between you two without a word.
“Well, anyway…” Steve’s voice broke through as everyone started to pick up their stuff.
The goodbyes were thrown around, even Billy’s nod to Steve was surprisingly chill, a small sign that maybe, just maybe, there was some common ground to be found. You clung to that hope, that small nod, as the night came to an end.
After the rest left through the front door, you caught Steve’s arm before he could leave.
“Hey, I gotta tell you, I’m really proud of you,” you said, your voice carrying the weight of genuine respect.
“It’s tough, starting new,” you added, a glance at the nearly empty space to signify you really did get it.
Steve’s smile was quick and sincere.
“Thanks, Y/n. Means a lot, you know? And hey, we’re overdue for that movie night,” he suggested with a playful wink, pulling his jacket closer as a cold draft slipped through the open door.
Your eyes fell on the new TV, with its built-in VHS player—Steve’s housewarming gift to you.
It was a generous thought, but it felt like too much. You’d insisted he take it back, but the bulky set remained, a silent testament to Steve’s stubbornness. He’d assured you it was no big deal, that it was better off here, getting some use.
You acknowledged his gesture with a nod, your face stoic but your eyes hinting at a silent vow to make the most of his gift with endless movie nights.
As Steve’s grin widened, he stepped out into the night, his laughter blending with the voices of Robin, Dustin, and Lucas as they disappeared down the street. You watched from the doorway, the figures of your friends growing smaller in the distance.
Billy’s voice cut in from behind, a dismissive edge to his tone. “Count me out for movie night.”
You turned, a smirk playing on your lips.
“Too bad, Billy,” you retorted, the playful challenge clear in your voice. “You’re coming, whether you like it or not.”
He was about to argue when Max’s anxious voice interrupted.
“We should go too,” she said, her eyes darting around, signaling something was wrong.
A wave of concern washed over you.
“What’s the rush?” you asked, your voice laced with worry. “It’s not even eight.”
Billy’s curfew was a constant shadow, ten o’clock sharp, a little later if Max was with him. You knew the rules too well, had seen the consequences on his skin—bruises and cuts he’d dismiss with a hollow laugh.
But there was that one night, the truth spilling out in the dark, his voice a low rumble at your window. “My dad,” he’d said, the words heavy with unspoken pain.
“Max, get your coat,” Billy’s voice was tight as he flung the door open again. He pulled out his cigarettes, his movements tense.
His hands shook as he tried to light one, and you stepped in, your hand steady, lighting it for him.
“Billy,” you said, your voice low, “everything alright?”
He glanced away, then back at you, a forced smirk on his face.
“Just gotta be home early,” he lied, smoke trailing from his lips.
You nodded, the unspoken words hanging heavy.
“If you need anything…”
He gave a small nod, a silent understanding.
“I know. See you later,” he said, and then he was gone, his figure blending into the night, Max following close behind.
You closed the door, the silence of the apartment heavy around you.
In the quiet, you made a silent vow to always be there for Billy, to stand by him as you had that night he confessed. It was a promise made without words, one you intended to keep.
————
The clock’s red glare read 1:27 a.m., the only light in the otherwise dark room.
The soft creak of the door was like a whisper, but it jolted you awake.
Rubbing the sleep from your eyes, you sat up, squinting into the darkness.
The light from the hallway cut a sharp outline around a familiar figure—Billy, the only other person with a key to your place.
“Billy?” Your voice was thick, still wrapped in the remnants of sleep.
As your hand reached out for the lamp, his figure moved closer, a shadow in the half-light.
“Don’t,” he murmured, his voice a low rumble, and his hand was on yours, guiding it away from the lamp. His touch was cold, sending a shiver up your arm.
“Are you okay?” The words were barely a whisper, concern threading through them as you climbed out of bed, reaching into the darkness towards him.
He sniffed, a sound so faint you might have missed it if the room wasn’t so deathly quiet.
“I’m…” he started, his voice barely there, then clearer, “No.” It was a stark admission, cutting through the silence.
“Oh, Bill…” you breathed out, your arms finding their way around his rigid form. Your hands rested gently on his neck, and you felt him lean into the embrace, his own arms wrapping around you.
A shuddering breath escaped him, betraying the facade of control he always tried to maintain. His head rested heavily on your shoulder, and you could feel the tension in his body beginning to unravel.
The silence was broken only by his occasional shivers, and you felt the dampness on your shirt where his tears had soaked through.
“We’ll get this sorted,” you said, trying to infuse your voice with confidence as you reached out to touch his cheek.
But he pulled back sharply, a quick intake of breath hissing through clenched teeth.
You flicked on the light, and the room was suddenly too bright, too real.
The sight made you pause—a large, open cut above his eye, blood running down, sticking to his lashes, pooling around his now swollen-shut eye.
He raised his hand, a silent plea for patience.
“It looks worse than it actually is,” he insisted, his voice strained. You noticed his lip, swollen and split, distorting his words.
You stood there, the gravity of the situation sinking in.
This was more than just a late-night visit; it was a cry for help. And you were determined to answer it.
“Let’s clean you up,” you said firmly, ready to do whatever it took to help your friend.
“We’ll figure out the rest after.” The promise was unspoken but as solid as the ground beneath your feet. You were in this together, no matter what.
Billy’s nod, small and pained, told you he understood.
After the long, meticulous process of cleaning him up with the first aid kit, the two of you now sat at the dining table, the silence filled with the soft clinks of the kit being put away.
The tension had eased somewhat, replaced by the quiet understanding that always seemed to exist between you two.
Billy’s face, now cleaned of blood, showed the stark reality of his life at home, but here, in the safety of your apartment, he allowed himself a moment of vulnerability.
You were just about to speak when an urgent knocking on your door cut through the stillness.
You exchanged a puzzled look with him before you got up to answer it, Billy close behind you as you did.
Max stood there, her eyes wide with concern.
“I had to make sure he was okay,” she said, her voice trembling slightly.
Billy’s expression hardened for a moment.
“What the hell are you doing out so late, Max?” he asked, his tone a mix of anger and concern.
Max’s gaze flickered to you before settling back on Billy.
“I couldn’t sleep not knowing if you were… if you were safe,” she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.
You stepped aside, letting her in, and she moved directly to Billy, her small hand reaching out to touch his arm gently.
Billy’s initial irritation faded as he looked at his sister, his eyes softening.
“I’m here, I’m okay,” he reassured her, his voice more gentle than you’d heard in a long time.
The three of you sat around the table, a makeshift family in the middle of the night, bound together.
You watched them, the siblings who had been through so much, and felt a fierce protectiveness rise within you.
“We’re going to figure this out,” you said, your voice firm, catching both their gazes. “Billy’s staying here now. He’s not going back to that house.”
Max’s eyes filled with tears, but she nodded, a look of relief passing over her face.
Billy just sat there, his eyes on the tabletop, his jaw clenched.
You knew he was wrestling with the decision, the weight of years of abuse and control not something he could shrug off easily.
But you also knew that this was the only way forward.
“You’re safe here, Billy. This is your home now,” you said, reaching across the table to place your hand over his. “We’re in this together.”
Billy looked up, his blue eyes meeting yours, and in them, you saw the flicker of hope that had been absent for so long.
He nodded, a silent acceptance of the new reality.
Max stayed for a while longer, until her eyes grew heavy with sleep, and you set up the couch for her to crash on.
As you turned off the lights and headed back to your room, Billy followed.
The room was silent, the kind of quiet that feels heavy, almost tangible.
Billy lay beside you, his body a rigid line of tension and unspoken pain. The darkness seemed to press in closer as he hesitated, then spoke into the void between you.
“Are you sure about this?” His voice was a low rumble, barely more than a breath. “Me living here… and Max. What if something happens when I’m not there?”
The question hung in the air, and for a moment, you let the silence answer. You thought about the weight of his words, the gravity of the decision he was facing. It wasn’t just about him; it was about Max, too, about breaking away from the life he knew, no matter how broken it was.
“I’m sure,” you finally said, your voice a soft but firm counterpoint to the darkness. “You can’t keep putting yourself through hell. And Max… she’s safer with us than she is in that house.”
He was silent, and you imagined you could hear the cogs turning in his head, weighing your words against his own fears and doubts.
“And what about Neil?” His question was a whisper, but it might as well have been a shout in the stillness of the room.
You took a deep breath, feeling the resolve settle in your bones.
“We’ll deal with Neil if we have to. But you… you need to be safe first. We both know if you stay there, it’s only going to get worse.”
Billy shifted beside you, a rustle of movement in the dark. “I just… I don’t want to leave her alone with him.”
“Max won’t be alone. She’s got us, and she’s got you. And she’s always welcome here, anytime. This place is as much a home for her as it is for you.”
There was a long pause, and you felt the moment stretch out, a bridge spanning the gap between fear and hope.
“Okay,” he said at last, the word a small surrender to the inevitable. “Okay.”
You reached out, finding his hand in the darkness, and squeezed it. It was a promise, a vow made without words, that you’d stand by him, come what may.
The night deepened around you, but in that shared silence, a new understanding was forged. You and Billy, against whatever the world might throw your way. Together. And that was enough. For now, it had to be.
————
Your apartment was filled with holiday atmosphere, the first true place you both made your own. The smell of pine mixed with the smell of pasta sauce that was cooking, a new recipe you were trying out in hopes it would become an annual thing.
Christmas was right around the corner, and the excitement was as heavy as the garland hanging on the walls.
Billy was due back any minute from his second job at the auto shop, a position he’d taken up since moving in. The days were long, and the work was hard, but Billy told you he enjoyed the job. That was all that mattered, you supposed.
You had the day off and had spent it transforming the apartment to feel more festive.
Billy’s arrival was indicated by the sound of the door swinging open, his frame filling the entryway as he stepped in from the cold. His eyes scanned the room, taking in the festive transformation with a raised eyebrow.
“You’ve been busy,” he said, a smirk playing on his lips as he shrugged off his jacket, revealing the smudges of grease on his forearms.
“Yeah, but I left the tree for us to do,” you said, gesturing towards the undecorated tree standing in the corner.
He grunted in acknowledgment, a sound that was almost a laugh, and headed for the shower, leaving heavy footprints in his wake. You seized the moment to call Max, knowing she’d jump at the chance to join in.
When we finally sat down for dinner, the table was like a little patch of food surrounded by all the crazy decorations.
Billy’s first bite was met with a nod of approval.
“This is way better than Susan’s cooking,” he declared, the corners of his mouth turning up as he chewed.
Max chimed in, her voice muffled by a mouthful of pasta, “Yeah, beats the hell out of it.”
“If you keep cooking like this, I’m gonna end up fat,” Billy joked, patting his stomach, though his tone suggested he wouldn’t mind that outcome.
“That’s what the exercise equipment’s for,” you quipped, pointing towards the hulking mass of different metals that dominated half the living room.
When Billy first lugged his gym gear into the apartment, neither of you had really thought through where all of it would go.
The living room quickly became a makeshift gym, with dumbbells, a bench, a barbell, and weight plates claiming their spots among the furniture. It was a bit of a mess, but it was a lived-in mess, a sign of life happening in real-time.
You didn’t mind, though. In fact, you found a certain charm in the chaos. With the holidays approaching, you got creative, weaving tinsel and garland through the iron grips of the weights and draping festive cheer over the cold steel of the barbell. It was an odd juxtaposition, sure, but it worked. The living room was transformed into a space that was uniquely ‘you and Billy’—a little rough around the edges, but full of heart.
After dinner, the three of you approached the tree. Billy picked up an ornament, examining it with a critical eye before hanging it on a sturdy branch.
“Never had much use for these things,” he said, his voice betraying a hint of nostalgia he’d never admit to.
Max laughed, reaching for a trinket. “Come on, it’s not so bad. Looks good, even.”
The evening wore on, filled with the clinking of ornaments and the occasional deep chuckle from Billy as he recounted stories from last year’s Christmas you all celebrated together then too.
You noticed the way his eyes softened when he looked at the tree, the way his rough exterior gave way to a quiet appreciation for the moment.
It was a simple night, but it was laced with the promise of many more to come.
As you all stepped back to admire the now-decorated tree, Billy’s arm brushed against yours, a silent acknowledgment of the shared experience.
“Not bad for our first tree,” he said, and you could hear the unspoken thanks in his voice.
————
The oven’s chime signaled the cookies were ready, a sweet aroma mingling with the crisp winter air that Billy let in each time he cracked the door for a smoke.
He stood in the doorway, a barbell in hand, half-watching the MTV countdown, half-engrossed in his workout.
“You’re letting in a draft,” you said, pulling the cookies out and setting them on the stove.
Billy took a drag from his cigarette, the smoke swirling around him. “Well, if someone would let me smoke inside…”
With a playful roll of your eyes, you walked over to him.
“You know the rules,” you reminded him, standing close enough to feel the cold air he was letting in. “Besides, I don’t want our cookies tasting like smoke.”
He chuckled, the sound deep and warm.
“Wouldn’t want that,” he mockingly conceded, taking one last drag before you nudged him out the door with a laugh, quickly shutting it behind him to keep the warmth in.
You darted away, but Billy was quick, shoving the door open and dropping the barbell with a thud as he chased after you.
His laughter mixed with yours as you ran down the hallway, the playful chase a familiar dance between you two.
You ducked into his room, thinking you’d won, but a misstep had you tripping over something unexpected. Both of you tumbled to the floor, a mess of limbs and uncontrollable laughter.
“Clutz,” Billy teased, but there was no heat in it, just the warm humor that had become a staple of your interactions.
“It’s not my fault, it’s this—” you protested, sitting up to see what had tripped you. In your hand was the missing book, Platonic Soulmates. You turned to him with a triumphant smirk.
“I knew it!” you exclaimed. “You did take it!”
Billy scoffed, trying to maintain his innocent facade.
“Must’ve gotten mixed up with your stuff,” he said, but the sheepish look in his eyes betrayed him.
You shook your head, the smile on your face impossible to contain. Billy sighed, rolling his eyes in mock annoyance.
“Alright, maybe… maybe we’re like platonic… soul… whatever,” he grumbled, finally admitting to the bond you both knew was there.
The laughter had died down, leaving a comfortable silence in its wake. You both lay on the floor, the carpet’s coarse fibers imprinting on your skin.
Billy stretched out beside you, his presence a solid comfort as you both stared at the ceiling, lost in thought.
The world outside seemed to fade into insignificance, leaving just the two of you in a bubble of tranquility. It was a rare moment of stillness for Billy.
Then, his voice broke the silence, soft yet carrying a weight that filled the room. “Thank you.”
You turned to look at him, surprised by the sincerity in his tone. “For what?” you asked, genuinely curious.
Billy’s voice was gruff, a stark contrast to the softness of the moment.
“Thanks for stickin’ around,” he said, his eyes fixed on the ceiling as if he was addressing the room rather than you.
“Seems like everyone’s always after something. Neil… he wanted me to fall in line. People at school just wanted to ride the wave of whatever popularity I had. And the girls, well, they didn’t look much past the surface, did they? But you… you’re different. You never wanted anything but to hang out. That means something. So, yeah… thanks.”
Billy’s words hung in the air, raw and unfiltered. They settled around you, heavy with the weight of a life that hadn’t been kind. You felt a surge of something fierce and protective, a sadness for the battles he’d fought alone.
“You don’t owe me thanks, Billy. That’s what friends do,” you said, your voice low and steady, cutting through the emotional fog.
Billy’s gaze met yours, a silent conversation passing between you. His eyes, a clear blue that had seen too much, held a gratitude that was raw and real.
You both took a moment, a silent acknowledgment of the weight of his words. It was a pause that said everything without a single word spoken.
“You’ve got me, no matter what,” you said, the promise as solid as the ground beneath you.
After a deep breath, you stood up, offering Billy a hand.
“Come on, I baked you cookies,” you said, a gentle nudge towards the simplicity of everyday life.
Billy took your hand, rising to his feet.
“Alright,” he conceded, a hint of a smile on his face. He paused, a playful challenge in his eyes.
“So, about smoking in the house—”
“Nope,” you cut him off with a chuckle, already heading to the kitchen. “Not happening, Hargrove.”
He followed, his chuckle a low rumble that filled the room.
“Worth a try,” he said, the mischief still alive in his voice.
————
Christmas morning broke with a spirited truth that no holiday movie could capture.
The apartment was quiet, except for the soft hum of the heater and the distant sounds of the outside world waking up.
You were determined to share this moment with Billy, to give him a taste of something genuine and heartfelt before the chaos of the party preparations began.
You found Billy still buried under his blankets, his room a stubborn sanctuary of everyday life among the holiday transformation of the rest of the apartment.
“Billy, come on. Just one present before we start the day,” you insisted, your voice cutting through the silence as you tugged at his arm.
His response was a gruff murmur, an indication to his dislike to mornings.
After a bit of coaxing, he relented and followed you into the living room, his body language a silent complaint against the cold that greeted his bare skin.
The room was dimly lit by the soft glow of Christmas lights, the tree standing like a flare of the season’s good spirits.
Billy, hair tousled and eyes half-closed, slumped onto the couch, clad only in his red plaid sleep pants.
You joined him, draping a throw blanket over both of you to fend off the chill. Then, with a gentle motion, you placed a small, wrapped gift onto his lap.
He eyed the present with a mix of curiosity and a hint of that guarded look he always had.
“You didn’t have to get me anything,” he said, his voice still rough with sleep.
“Of course I did. You’re my best friend,” you replied, watching as he unwrapped the gift with hands that were more used to handling tools than delicate wrapping paper.
The keychain, a small silver house, caught the light as he held it up. It was a simple thing, but it was heavy with meaning.
“It represents us finding our place. Our home,” you explained, your voice low but clear in the quiet of the room.
Billy was silent for a long moment, the keychain turning slowly in his hand.
“I’ve never really had something like this,” he admitted, his voice a low rumble. “A place that actually feels like home.”
You smiled, feeling a warmth spread through you.
“Well, you do now. And we’re going to make sure it’s a damn good one.”
Billy’s smile was a rare sight, his brows furrowing as if he wasn’t quite sure how to handle the softer emotions.
He stood up, the blanket falling to the side, and shuffled out of the room with a gruff, “Hang on.”
You watched, curious and touched, as he disappeared down the hall. Moments later, he returned, something concealed in his hand.
“Got something for you,” he said, his voice rough around the edges.
“What is it?” you asked, leaning forward with interest as he sat down across from you.
“Just… give me your hand,” Billy instructed, his usual brass demeanor faltering slightly.
You complied, placing your hand in his, feeling the calluses on his palm—a testament to his hard work.
“Close your eyes,” he added, a hint of command still in his voice.
You rolled your eyes but did as told, a smile on your face. “Always so dramatic,” you teased.
There was a pause, and then Billy’s voice, softer now, “Alright, open.”
When you opened your eyes, you were met with the sight of a bracelet made of sea glass on your wrist. The colors were a myriad of blues and greens, like the ocean he so loved.
“You made this?” you gasped, your eyes lifting to meet his. He looked back at you, a mix of pride and something similar to vulnerability.
“It’s from that beach in California I told you about,” he explained, his fingers gently turning the bracelet on your wrist.
“That place was my escape, you know? And now, well, you’re kinda like that for me here.”
You sat up, touched by his words and the sentiment behind the gift. “Thank you, Billy. This means a lot.”
He shrugged, the corners of his mouth twitching up in a half-smile.
“Yeah, well, don’t get used to it,” he joked, but you could tell he was pleased.
In response, you reached out and pulled him into a hug, a gesture that spoke volumes more than words ever could. It was a thank you, a promise, and an acknowledgment of everything you’d been through together.
“Now come on, get ready,” you said, standing up and pulling him to his feet. “You’re helping me with the Christmas party food, whether you like it or not.”
Billy grumbled, a mock scowl forming on his face.
“You just like bossing me around,” he said, but there was no real annoyance in his voice, just the comfortable banter that had become the foundation of your friendship.
“Don’t be ungrateful,” you laughed, giving his arm a playful swat.
Billy’s laughter, deep and genuine, filled the room.
It was moments like these that reminded you why being Billy’s friend was worth every second.
𖣂 Not My Commander - Part 2 | Lexa kom Trikru 𖣂
Pairing: Lexa kom Trikru x reader
Warnings: Blood, violence, injuries, cursing and some steamy scenes
Summary: Sending a hundred underaged prisoners down to Earth to find out if it’s inhabitable again is undoubtedly immoral, so The Council decides to send you down first, rather than float you for your crimes.
If you survive for more than a couple of hours, they can —in good conscience— send down the 100. If you don’t, well, then good riddance.
“You can’t tell anyone, you hear me?!” Bellamy hisses. “If they find out someone else knows—“
A commotion down the hall makes both our heads snap around and when a woman screams, we spring into action.
“Hey! What’s going. . .” The words die on my tongue when I realize the scream came from inside my family’s living quarters. “Mom!”
A handful of guards are pinning my mother and father against the wall. My younger brother is on the ground, thrashing around with a bloody nose and a furious glint in his eyes.
“Get off me!” he grunts and kicks at the guard trying to detain him only to have the back of a gun slammed against the side of his head, rendering him unconscious.
“Hey!” I shout, my hands shaking with adrenaline. “What are you doing? Get away from them!“
I try to pull the guard restraining my dad away from him, but then the other guard who hit my brother aims his gun at me.
“WHAT ARE YOU—?!” I yelped and freeze when I get tased from behind.
Bellamy shouts and tries to catch me before I go down, but he’s too late and I end up hitting my head on a chair, leaving me dazed.
“Y/N L/N, I am placing you and your family under arrest for treason,” the guard who tased me says, taking the gun off my belt and putting me in handcuffs.
“Wait. . .” I croak, black dots dancing in my vision. “Please, my family has done nothing wrong.”
My mother’s desperate whimpers and my dad’s furious shouts are the last things I hear before passing out.
I wake with a start and slap my hand over my mouth. My heart is racing and my sweat soaked shirt clings to my body.
It was just a dream, I remind myself. But it wasn’t just a dream actually, was it? It was a memory. A memory that haunted me almost every night.
There’s a rustling outside of my tent and I freeze, hoping I didn’t wake anyone.
It’s quite for a couple of seconds and when I’m sure nobody’s going to come check on me, I push the sleeping furs off my body and take off my shirt.
The cool air that meets my flushed skin makes me shiver, but I don’t get back under the furs just yet.
My eyes roam around the small tent, looking for a distraction only to land on my bracelet a moment later.
It’s glowing faintly because of all the sensors and when I hold my breath I hear it buzz ever so slightly.
I wonder what the people on the Ark are doing with all the information it’s transmitting to them. Do they even still care about it?
It’s been over a week since I’ve been on Earth now, so they know it’s survivable which means the bracelet is now useless to them and me.
Still, for some reason I’m attached to it because it’s the only connection I have left to my former home and even though it’s of no use, I don’t want to take it off.
I don’t think I could take it off, even if I tried, but that’s beside the point.
I drag my hands down my face and run my fingers through my hair. The memory of the dream is painful, but the happy memories of life on the Ark are even more so and before I know it hot tears are streaming down my cheeks.
I bite my tongue to silence my strangled sobs and clutch at the chain around my neck.
It used to be my brother’s— a Christmas gift from me a couple years ago— and attached to it are my parents wedding rings.
All three things were given to Bellamy, who in turn gave it to me before my entire family was floated one by one.
Two days later, I was sent to the med bay where Abby Griffin performed tests on me and put the bracelet on my wrist.
At that time I had no idea what was going to happen but once Abby was done, Jaha told me about their plans and within another few hours I was strapped into my pod and hurtling to Earth.
“I’m sorry,” I whisper. I squeeze my eyes shut and bring the chain up to my lips. “I’m so sorry. . .”
My family is gone and it’s all my fault. I told them about the deteriorating air filters I had discovered when I was on patrol and came across Clarke Griffin’s dad.
He’d been hunched over a tablet with wide eyes and when I asked him if he was okay he just shook his head and explained what he’d discovered in hushed tones.
That was the day it all went to shit and now I’m here on Earth. I’m not a prisoner per se because Lexa keeps insisting I’m a guest, and in a way I am a guest (she frequently invites me to the community dinners at the tower and asks me to tell her more about life on the Ark) but I’m not allowed to go anywhere without a guard and I’m forbidden from leaving the tower when it’s dark outside.
I mostly keep to myself, pacing around my room and looking out of the window at the city below, but two days ago Lexa told me I would be joining her and some soldiers on a trip to a small village east of the capital city (which I now knew was called Polis) to negotiate some trade deals.
I honestly don’t know why she would want to bring me along— I know nothing about trade deals nor do I speak their native language— but I’m pretty sure one of the reasons she brought me with her is because she wants to keep an eye on me.
Which is why I’m here now in my own small tent outside of the village with guards surrounding the area and Lexa’s tent next to my own.
Even without my shirt, my skin is still slick with sweat and I know I won’t be able to go back to sleep anytime soon.
Sighing, I take my damp shirt off the ground and pull it back over my head. It clings to me immediately and makes me want to take it off again, but I don’t want to be caught sneaking around without it. Well, I don’t want to be caught at all, but if I do get caught I’d rather it be with clothes on rather than without.
When we were setting up camp earlier, I caught a glimpse of a small lake between the trees nearby which is where I’m planning on going.
I’m thirsty and I’m sure splashing some water on my face will help clear my mind, so, sticking my head out of the tent I make sure none of the guards are looking in my direction (they’re all sitting around a fire close by, chatting quietly) before slipping outside.
I get to the trees unseen and once I’m sure I’m out of earshot, I exhale loudly and stop walking on tiptoes.
Pine needles scrunch under my shoes and an owl hoots close by which makes my stomach drop for a second.
I continue walking, tugging on my damp shirt every now and then until I get to the lake. Its surface sparkles like liquid silver in the moonlight and I’m sure if I knew how to swim I wouldn’t hesitate to jump right in.
Stepping over a couple of boulders that reach all the way into the water, I crouch down on one of them and scoop some water into my cupped hands before drinking it.
Its refreshing but not as cold as the water in the stream I drank from the day I got here and once I’ve quenched my thirst, I close my eyes and splash some of it on my face and neck.
It’s peaceful and the memory of the nightmare is as good as forgotten, but then I hear a twig snap behind me and I spin around to see two grounders watching me with smirks.
“Planning on running away?” the bigger one of the two asks, resting a hand on the hilt of his sword.
“I— No,” I stammer. It still surprises me how good their English is. Lexa told me only the warriors know it and that only some of them are fluent, but so far all of them I’ve interacted with spoke flawlessly. “I was thirsty and just needed to cool myself off a little.”
The smaller one raises an eyebrow. “Is that so?”
I watch them warily as they make their way toward me. “Yes. I don’t have anywhere else to go, so why would I run away?”
“You never know,” the bigger one says with an unnerving glint in his eyes.
The two guards are now right behind me, towering over me, so I get to my feet and bush some imaginary dust off my pants.
I try to step past them, but the smaller one grabs my arm and pulls me back. “Where are you going? I thought you wanted to cool off.”
I swallow thickly, feeling a lump forming in my throat. “I did and now I’d like to go back to my tent so if you’ll excuse me I—“
“You still look a little hot to me,” he interrupts me and then shares a look with the bigger one who agrees with a sickening smile.
“You sure do,” he murmurs and before I know it his hand is wrapped around my other arm and the two of them are dragging me to the edge of the water.
“What are you— Hey! Let go!” I kick and thrash around which only makes them laugh and then I’m being shoved backward and my stomach lurches.
The fall isn’t particularly long, but as soon as I land in the water and my head goes below the glittering surface I scream.
No sound comes out of my mouth, only air bubbles, and I frantically try to push myself off the bottom of the lake and back up to the surface. The bottom isn’t within reach though, much less visible in the dark abyss below me, which makes me scream again.
Helpless. I feel utterly helpless just like the day my family was arrested and floated.
The water which was cool against my hands and face is absolutely freezing now. It’s everywhere, in my nose, my mouth, and my ears, but the worst part is that it’s weighing my clothes down like a ton of bricks and making it impossible for me to reach the surface with flailing arms and legs.
I don’t know how to swim. No one on the Ark knows how to because why would we? I never thought that something this trivial would cost me my life. . .
I literally fell through space and crash landed in a forest, but the thing that ultimately kills me is the inability to keep my head above the surface of a body of water.
I continue to kick and thrash around, but the surface above me seems to be getting more and more out of reach as the seconds tick by.
It’s no use. No one is coming to help me. Especially not the grounders who threw me in. They probably think it’s funny and they’d most definitely be glad to be rid of me.
They don’t like me. None of them really do except Lexa, which only makes their disdain for me worse.
It seems their commander has taken a liking to me and the fact that she’s granting me a place to sleep and food to eat is making it worse.
It’s an unwarranted luxury in their eyes especially because they all have to work their asses off to survive, so I get why they hate me.
I tried to convince Lexa to let me work, or do something to at least pull my own weight but she isn’t letting me.
All that doesn’t matter anymore though because my lungs are burning, screaming for air, and my arms and legs are numb.
Then, I see the blurry outline of my necklace floating in the water in front of me and the little fight to survive I had left within me vanishes.
I’m sorry, mom. I’m sorry, dad. I’m sorry, Lucas.
I stop moving and just close my eyes, waiting for my body to finally give into the urge to take a deep breath which in this case would be a deadly breath of water.
I’m sorry, I think again but then I’m yanked upward by a hand around the collar of my shirt and within a second I’m back on the boulders, shaking and coughing and wheezing.
“Just breathe, you’re okay. . .”
I squeeze my eyes shut and claw at the rock beneath me.
“You’re okay, Y/N. Just breathe. . . That’s it.” The familiar voice slowly brings me back to reality and when I open my eyes they land on the last person I expected to be here.
It’s the commander, kneeling in front of me with worry written all over her paint-free face. Her hair is pulled back in a simple braid and she’s not wearing her armor.
I stare at her wide-eyed, my chest still heaving when a hand on my shoulder suddenly makes me flinch.
“I’m sorry,” a deep voice says and when I slowly turn around to see who touched me I’m surprised to see that it’s Gustus, the guard who slapped and dragged me to the throne room. Only this Gustus is almost unrecognizable. He’s soaking wet, obviously being the one who jumped into the water after me, and he has a sympathetic look on his face.
I open my mouth to speak and thank him for saving me, but then another cough shakes my entire body and Lexa tells me to save my breath.
“It’s okay,” she says, tentatively touching my forearm. “You’re okay.”
I shake my head and look down, but don’t pull away from her touch. “The guards— They-“
“- are being taken care of,” Lexa interrupts and when I look back up I see a reassuring smile on her face.
It’s the first time I’ve ever seen her smile and even under the current circumstances my heart skips a beat at the sight.
“Thank you,” I finally manage to say after a couple more deep breaths and when I look over my shoulder at Gustus he waves me off.
“Let’s get you dried off,” Lexa says and when she gets to her feet and offers a hand to help me up, I take it without hesitation.
Pink little gift
Summary: Your boyfriend wants to try a new muggle device that his father found for the Ministry, It turns out it's his new favourite muggle thing.
Pairing: Fred Weasley x reader
Warnings: Fred being a little pervert, vouyerism, vibrators, masturbation (female), not sex just sexy stuff.
Masterlist
Apparently his father didn't know what was that small pink thing that vibrated with a remote control. He gave it to Fred because he thought it could be great for a prank. The thing it's that you recognized the thing from some muggle adult magazines and decided to use it.
Fred entered the room to see you using, the now known as vibrator, on your clit. You felt your orgasm reaching you very fast and couldn't control you moans while saying Fred's name. You didn't know he was looking at you thru the door gap. When you finally went down of your orgasm, you realized he entered the room and was looking at you with a look you never saw before.
"So, you know what was that and you didn't say it to me, something so fun and you were thinking of keeping it to yourself." his hands reached your thighs an pulled you next ot him with a strong pull.
"I was just curious."
"And you didn't thought i was curious too? if i new this thing could made you scream like that, i would've use it before, "lust was filling his eyes, "maybe we can still use it."
Slowly his hands reached yours and took the vibrator, procceding to slowly insertining into you. Thanks to the juices of your previous orgasm, it got in really easy to your surprise. You were blusing really bad, unable to not look at Fred.
"Now, i will keep the control for myself all the day and i will turn it on when i want, you have to try to keep it together. Understood?" this is one of the times when Fred get's really dominant, you feared what could happen to your reputation if someone found this out but he didn't care.
You nodded flustered and he let you go, helping you to get your clothes while placing kisses along your skin.
"And if i try to keep it together? what i will win?"
"A beautiful night with me to get out all the frustation you will be dragging along the day."
The thing is you couldn't resist, even if you were reluctant about it. At first it was bearable, not much to Scream but sufficient to make you get your lega together. Once Fred discovered the diferrent speeds and vibration modes, things escalated pretty easy. His goal was making you feel the most flustered posible.
The more difficult moments were potion's class. Snape nearly thought you were sick and almost kicked you to the nursing room, you would have preferred that.
With each wave it was more difficult to disguise It, your legs closed with strength and your hand over your mouth trying to hide every posible sound. It was torture, a pleasure torture.
The worst of all was seeing Fred smiling to you from across the room, knowing he is palming his growing erection thru his pants while he speeds up the vibrator.
On lunch time, you almost choked with the food thanks to him, again. The afternoon was equally disastrous and pleasurable to you, but you succeded in keeping It together and hide every posible clue to what was happening, even when you almost failed on various ocassions.
"You did great my love." Fred was just right behind you, his hands starting to wander on your waist.
"I did, now my reward." he smiled mischievously at your eagerness.
"Of course, my love."
When his lips were almost touching you, It was your time to make your move and take your revenge. You throw him to the bed and sit on top of hin, not letting him touch you or even kiss you.
"Now it's your time to suffer." You show him the vibrator that was not so long ago in you.
"You aren't thinking on putting that on my ass, right?"
"I should do that, idiot, but i have another plans in mind."
You took some rope and smiled at him with an evil grin, he was scared but he must pay for being so bad with you today.
Camp Counselors - Sebastian Sallow X F!MC
🔥 NSFW 🔞 MDNI
I want to give partial credit to @grandeoatmilklatte because I had a spicy dream, woke up to leave myself the cryptic ass note “camp counselors” that I was not able to decipher. She basically gave me this brain child so the writing is mine but she gets full credit for basically writing out her interpretations of my dream. Thanks lovely 🥰
Warnings: doing naughty naughty things outside instead of being good chaperones, unprotected p-in-v, modern scenario, just a smutty little drabble
577 words
Sebastian was almost as eager as she was to sneak away from their groups of sleeping kids. They’d each waited till their groups and other cabin chaperones had fallen asleep before meeting outside and running off to the boathouse together.
At first they had no real plan in mind, only eager to kiss and have their hands on the other after getting to know each other and find out that they shared a spark of attraction between them. They decided sneaking off to the boat house would likely give them the most privacy.
With Sebastian’s hand in her hair, other arm lifting her pajama pant clad leg by the crook of her knee to spread her open and allow himself to grind against her weeping center. Her fingers slid over his shoulders and over his back, moaning into his deeply sensual kisses.
A shiver of delight trailed through her when he’d finally pulled away, helping her into the small rowboat and untiring it, taking the paddle and pushing them out to the center of the lake.
Now under the bright beautiful light of the moon and stars he laid her gently down on the padding that lined the bottom of the boat, his hands caressing her gently, sweeping kisses down her jaw to the collar of her pajama shirt.
He eagerly helped her out of it, groaning at the sight of her bare breasts under the glow of the moonlight. His hardness rocked against her thigh as his lips rejoined with hers, nips and love bites dragging the kiss out.
He started to tug off his own clothing as she shuffled out of her pajama bottoms, careful with their movements to not rock the boat too far to one side.
When they rejoined it was a battle of tongues and teeth, but his cock gently pushed into her, going slow and steady in a pace that had her breaking the kiss and forcing his mouth to her neck while she cried out into the night air.
He fucked her carefully, the boat wobbling ever so slightly but he held the side, willing it as best he could to stay still. She uttered a cry for more and all hope was lost. His hips slammed back into hers, her cries ringing out against the chirping of crickets and sloshing of water against the outside of the boat.
The boat wobbled unsteadily beneath them as they moved faster. He chuckled at her pleasure turned fear stricken expression as he reached out to steady the boat again while rocking into her at a more controlled pace.
She tipped her head back, crying out when she found her release underneath him, his pants and grunts displaying that he couldn’t be far behind her.
With his fingers threaded in her hair, hips grinding against hers, he groaned out, fucking into her while pumping rope after thick rope into her pussy. Filling her full of the pent up need that had accumulated over the week at camp.
He carefully pulled out, helping her clean up as best as he could and righting her in the boat. She gasped when she lifted her head, realizing they were now surrounded with lightning bugs over the still lake water.
He grinned from ear to ear, rowing them back to shore before making sure she got safely back to her cabin, promising that after camp was over he would gladly experience this in a much nicer location.
“dude i swear i will get on my knees for that woman!” you rolled over on your best friends, dina’s bed as she passed you a blunt, taking a hit before passing it back to the dark haired girl sitting against her bed on the floor.
“you saw her two times y/nn” she shook her head looking at the blunt before looking at you. “ok but listen, she is like ethereal dude, i’d gobble her-“ “and you’re done speaking, go to sleep you have work tomorrow” you almost puked at the thought of work.
dina rolled you over to the wall side as she got under the covers “i should have a heart attack and then you can take me and ask for her” “go to bed y/n!”
hearing your stupid alarm go off, dina took it upon herself to grab your ankles and drag you off her very comfortable bed “i’m going to put you in my 13th record” you rubbed your face before getting up to her bathroom “love you!”
you were only a little happy today because it was pay day so you decided to be nice to the annoying customers as well. “have a great day ma’am” you gave the most fake smile to the customer, flipping her off when she left “no sign of doctor goddess this morning?” jesse walks in to start his closing shift.
“she’s the only reason i’m even here right now, can’t believe this is how she breaks up with me” you fake a sad sign, shaking your head at him causing him to chuckle at your attitude.
quickly going around the counter to help jesse clean up for his shift you started by wiping down the tables, the bell to the door chimes, leaving the rag and spray bottle on the dirty table, you saw abby. “hey doctor” you walked back to the register, throwing the latex gloves in the trash, giving her a smile. “hey sweetheart” the nickname giving you a tingly feeling in your stomach.
“the usual? and why so late?” you started with brewing the coffee “night shift and can you make that 4 please, my co-workers need it too” she sighed giving you the sweetest smile.
i want you to fuc-
nodding at her request you grabbed a couple more cups and a cup holder “so as a doctor do you get like any days off? it seems so like exhausting” you tilted your head looking at her “well, because i am a very needed doctor in the field i get at least a month or two off for vacation but on my days off i need to have my pager on me always” she shows you the little black box on her pocket.
you feel jesse “accidentally” bump into you with a sorry ass apologize and a cough, giving to the look. “so um, i was wondering if i could like maybe get your number?” you held your breath, fiddling with your fingers only giving her minimal eye contact. abby pulls her phone out, handing it over to you “why not” she maintains her eye contact.
quickly adding your contact in her phone you gave it back to her, giving yourself a fist bump in your head “you know like incase i have a heart attack or something and need to call for help” you joked biting the inside of your cheek out of a nervous habit “i hope you never have a heart attack sweet thing and i really hope you call the ambulance first” she laughed.
giving her the coffees you gave her a small bye “i’ll text you on my break, if you’re awake by then?” she gave you a flashing smile before walking out.
“holy shit! you got her number” jesse patted your back “holy fucking shit! i like almost shit myself, im gonna pass out” you inhaled deeply after holding your breath for so long “can i be the maid of honor” he wiggled his brows at you with a stupid smirk on his face “you can sit in the back with the grass.”
