I feel so lucky to be apart of such an incredible cast. We are putting together RENT, one of the most prevelant, important musicals ever written, and it feels as though each and every time we rehearse, we become more invested and we become closer and closer. And I think that's what shows like RENT do. I think if you're in such a powerful show and the cast is distant, lazy, bitter, the show won't work. You need to come together and become a family to tackle all the hardships these characters tackle. Acting is living someone else's life, and in doing so, we are living all these horrible, sad things Jonathan Larson wrote and even lived through himself. Without this cast, this show would be nothing. But with this cast, this show I love is becoming a beam of light that absolutely no one can put out and I feel like one of the luckiest people in the world to get to experience this.
