Honestly, I think it’s ridiculous that people are accusing you of sounding mean/rude etc. sometimes I think you’re still too nice to the rude anons and I feel like a lot of this is passive aggressive on their part. They come at you because they think you’re an ‘insider’ fan and they’re jealous, and if you come back defensively, then they accuse you of being rude blah blah blah. If these people are making your experience on tumblr a negative one then just ignore those asks and enjoy yourself bb! 

Hmm idk I mean it wouldn’t cross my mind to go after someone because they know some things I don’t? So they probably have a point somewhere in telling me I should be kinder, I know I can be short when I answers asks because I get so many and sometimes the same ones every other day so it gets a bit tiring...

hello! for sounding "nicer" i know when it comes to like texting friends and stuff. i always over use emojis and 'lol' bc i think when you don't it makes people (including myself) read it in a kind of boring/unimpressed tone in my head. LIKE HOW CAPS MAKES ME YELL IN MY HEAD LOL. I don’t think you’re rude, I think sometimes you get defensive because you’ve been getting the same questions over and over again and you must get tired. And you’ve talked about having insomnia so you must also be physically tired on top of mentally. That’s normal, we’re all humans. Don’t worry about it.

Yeah it’s true, I do get defensive when I’m more tired. Sometimes when I need to vent, I read my inbox outloud to a friend - the asks I don’t publish I mean - and it helps but sometimes I don’t have anyone next to me to do that with so I get cranky when I see people prying into the cast’s lives, asking personal questions, things like that. It’s hard to ignore when you read the same disturbing things every couple of days. Thank you ♥

You're not annoying at all, on the contrary, you're the sweetest! It's just that I think people are frustrated that you know so much without sharing, and maybe also the fact that you continue to think you're a normal fan, even though you're clearly "in". I don't know, I'm trying to understand... I think it might be jealousy as well.

The thing is, I can’t say for now how I’ve come to know some stuff because it would spoil way too much and I don’t know if I’ll even be able to ever. I’m not really “in”, that’s the thing. I am a normal fan, as normal as a fan who’s lucky enough to live in Paris and who could go to a lot of events - and that’s a couple hundreds of us. I don’t know how much the international fandom is aware of that but David and Niels and the cast know hundreds of us by name just because we were lucky enough to meet them several times. I’m not really more “in” than those other people. Some from the cast have not a clue who I am at all and others only know my @ on instagram because I send them the pics. I’m a bit closer to some for reasons I can’t talk about. The team got a lot of complaints about everything always happening in Paris and some fans ending up being more priviledged than others. I’m hoping there will be more events outside of Paris, maybe screenings or something in the future so it doesn’t feel as ~Parisian elite~ as last year.

I think you’ve always been receptive when people came to you with a different opinion and from what I saw, you’re always willing to learn. Some people are just too entitled and come barging in and that’s when you raise you hackles. It’s not really on you, it’s hard to be kind to everyone when people don’t always deserve it.

Hmmm yeah, my friends have told me I have strong opinions and don’t change my mind easily so... idk. I could maybe be more receptive, like you said, at times. I went from getting one ask every six months to dozens a day in a few weeks last year and it still blows my mind. I wasn’t ready for that. There must be people who disagree with me in my followers. bonsoir tumblr grandma! 💫 in my humble opinion, you do not come off as rude. I just think sometimes people tend to read what they wanna read and make the worst out of it. Plus, the whole Even season is a really touchy subject because everyone would love one and when such announcements of possibles seasons happen, they can't help but be hopeful. I know how much people must be upset to see their hopes crushed, I was disappointed too back when I first heard about it, and my hopes were not that high to begin with since David had said before Eliott wasn’t considered as main. I get asks every week about Eliott being main, almost every gifset I make will have a tag about how whatever is clearly a reference to Eliott being main and I’m just like... let it go. Or talk about it on your own posts. I’m sad it’s not happening. Don’t rub it in my face, you know? I didn’t say anything for months and accepted it was the way it would be so I couldn’t complain but then Henrik mentioned it to someone at HOS2 and I thought that finally those asks and comments would stop but they don’t and it’s very tiring. I don't think you're rude and i don't know you irl it's just that some of your anons are creepy and acted so demanding like you owe us something and it pissed me off actually. Like those anon who asked something like you know this right? How you know abt this? Why you know the cast? It sounds so suspicious that you know them etc. these anons are so nosy like why so negative. Istg i thought they would interrogate you yesterday after you mentioned abt working with assa before skamfr.

I’m gonna say something I haven’t really shared in details before but it’s weighting on me. Some anons are really creepy, so I don’t publish them. For exemple, somebody found my spotify recently and through it found my old Facebook. My friends have sent me screenshots of people following them on their instagram after being tagged in my stories and they are always Skam stans, even when my friends have never posted about anything Skam related. Someone once went digging into my personal life so far that they could have ruined the theme of season 5 in september if they had decided to make what they had found public instead of sending me an ask about it. That shit is not okay. I blew up about this once last year and somebody told me “why do you make it sounds like we’re creepy fans of yours” and well, because some stuff IS creepy. I understand being curious but I will never share anything about the personal lives of the cast or anything that could spoil the seasons so I’d just like it if people stopped asking, you know? gaëlle you never even once came off as rude (i started following you in february-march when s3 was airing). you're always helpful and patient. it's obvious when ppl go to cons/projos/meet the cast they might unintentionally find out smth that's not public knowledge. and it's a good thing actually that you don't immediately run here to share bc maybe a cast member didn't mean to reveal smth etc. in any case you don't owe us any information and those who demand answers are the rude ones

Thank you, love. yeah I’ve lost counts of how many times they’ve accidentally spoiled something at cons or screenings or in the background of ig stories, especially in the beginning. They are more careful now and some even let slip fake spoilers to see if it will spread (and by some I mean Axel after his play when he stays to talk to fans lmao). The fans who’ve learned stuff that way are usually super protective of the show though so nothing really spreads and that’s really nice to see - sorry Axel, joke’s on you ahah

You don’t know me but I saw you a lot at HOS2, I recognized you from your instagram. Every time I saw you, you were cuddling people, laughing, singing - I heard you sing with your friends and Maxence joining in, it was adorable! The cheers the cast let out when they saw you come up for the group pictures weren’t fake. You have an aura around you that brightens the room. I really hope this isn’t too weird of me to say. I don’t think you could ever be unkind. You wouldn’t have so many friends otherwise - I mean, it looked like you do - and the cast wouldn’t have reacted like that upon seeing you. That alone convinced me you were a good person.

✨: Describe your favorite thing about them

Okay, so! Tina’s favourite thing about Shiro is the way he supports others, sometimes in a subtle way. (”That’s why we bring our sharpshooter!”, anyone?)

Her fave thing about Pidge is her wit. And also how adorable she is.

Her fave thing about Keith is his hidden sweetness! He seems so cool and tough at first, and he’s very hotheaded, but he’s actually soft inside and she loves seeing that side of him.

Her fave thing about Lance is his pick up lines. Lance is great in many ways, but she loves cheesy pick up lines, and they both amuse her and feel her better about herself!

Her fave thing about Hunk is how good a friend he is? He’s obviously smart, and cautious, and he won’t hesitate to say when he thinks something is a bad idea, but he still sticks to his friends! (Also how good a cook he is. Tina likes her food.)

Her fave thing about Allura is her strength. Strong women are a goddamn blessing, let me tell you.

💪: Do you ever fight? Who’s the first to apologize?

Tina’s someone that’s really really hard to fight with! And even then, she’s always the first to apologise, because she can’t handle such negativity. She just can’t. Seeing her partner mad just kills her.

But yeah, she’s the kind of person that’s open-minded enough that if something happens that should result in a fight, she’s willing to talk it out and change her mind and compromise.

If there was anyone she could fight with, it would probably be Keith! He’s very hot-headed, and I can see them fighting because he does some dumb shit and she told him not to and he didn’t listen, and maybe he got hurt or risked getting hurt, and Tina is worried but also mad af because he told him and he didn’t care. Or, situations where he doesn’t listen to her or try to see it her way too - I feel like they could clash a bit. She would not apologise in those cases, though. If she’s truly hurt by his behaviour, she would not apologise. Keith would see himself being ignored and be annoyed, and he’d just mentions it outloud and someone would be like “Keith are you serious” and he’d realise his mistake and just kind of… knock on her door, nervously, and try to apologise.

She’d accept his apology in a heartbeat tbh, but would make him promise to work with her more when there’s disagreements, to both try and understand the other.

😷: Who’s better at taking care of the other when sick?

Shina: Shiro, he’d worry but be calm, and would tend to her.

Keina: definitely Tina. It’s a wonder whether Keith would be able to take care of himself at all, considering he’d probably get up and insist he’s okay and try to go training. She’d have to literally lock his bedroom door to get him to rest, man.

Tince: Lance! I think he’d probably be really good at taking care of others because of his siblings, so he’d be surprisingly good. Plus he’d be able to make her laugh and keep her entertained while she’s sick!

Tink: def Hunk! He’d worry so much about her, and make her food that would help her feel better but that also wouldn’t upset her stomach. He’d be so very gentle with her and make sure to keep her company. (If she’s not too sick he’d allow her to sit in the kitchen, as long as she covered up well and brought a blanket with her, to watch him cook.)

Tidge: Tina. Pidge works herself way too hard sometimes, and I feel like she’d feel miserable once sick, and Tina would be gentle enough with her to not make her mad. (She’d let her tinker with whatever she wants as long as she promised to do so in bed, which is a good compromise for both of them, too.)

Allina: I think Allura, but just because she’d be difficult to care for. She would insist she’s fine, and would not rest. She would not be forced to be in bed while there’s things to be done, and she’s absolutely perfectly fine! Tina isn’t sure what to do and is very tempted to just give up.

💋: Do you have nicknames for each other?

I think most of them wouldn’t really give her cheesy nicknames, apart from Lance. In change, Tina would usually go for things like “darling”, “sweetheart”, “honey”, “baby/babe”, “love”.

Lance would call her common pet names like “babe”, “darling”, “sweetpea”.

Keith wouldn’t be much for pet names but he’d totally call her “kitten” at times. It’s an inside joke. Or so that’s what he says to not embarrass himself too much.

Hunk would call her “darling”, “angel”, “bunbun”, with also the usual “babe”. Tina also calls him “pumpkin” at times.

Pidge seems like someone that wouldn’t be into nicknames, but actually has a couple of cute ones. “Cupcake”, “hon”. Tina melts everytime. Tina uses “muffin” too at times.

Shiro would get a bit shy about them, but the first time he tries to call her “star” she lights up (and almost cries) so he decides to stick with it. Sometimes switches to “starlight”, too. In exchange, she calls him “moon” more often than not.

Allura wouldn’t much get pet names, but Tina calls her “snowflake” once and Allura is confused and Tina explains them to her. (She usually calls her “snowflake” because when she saw her hair she thought of snow at first.) She just looks Tina up and down to think about what feature of her she can base a nickname on before calling her “berry”, and it’s adorable so Tina goes along with it.

☁️: Who accidentally kicks the other off of the bed in the middle of the night/Hogs all the sheets?

Shina: None of the two, they spoon and it’s adorable.

Keina: Keith would hog the sheets. Tina would hog them back. They’d end up each with half but, like, shared in a weird way. Like their legs are absolutely not covered, just their torsos, and they’d end up resolving it by just linking their legs together for warmth.

Tince: Tina would hog the sheets, and in exchange Lance would cuddle up and spoon her and they’d both be satisfied.

Tink: None. Tina cuddles up to Hunk.

Tidge: Somehow Pidge kicks Tina off the bed. Tina wakes up and, mad but still half-asleep, she’d pull her leg to make her fall too. They end up cuddling on the floor, blanket half covering them from where it’s falling from the bed.

Allina: Did you see Allura’s bed? They’d start cuddling, but eventually end up just sleeping at like opposite ends of the bed. They still both have blankets.

His Redhead Girl (Part 2)

Hey Everyone! So here it finally is! I’m sorry it has taken so long. Because of the first part being posted so long ago the story takes place during the timeline of the tour when Val was still dating Amber. This chapter got very long but I didn’t think anywhere fit to cut it into two. I hope you enjoy it. I will post a link to the first chapter, so you can read a refresher if you like.

“Babe, is everything alright?”

“Not really.” Val ran his hand through his hair as he looked at Sharna who was staring at him, questioning this terrible decision. “We just- I just-”

“You what?”

“I just need to tell you because-”

“Tell me what?” “I haven’t been completely honest with you. Actually, I haven’t been honest with you at all.” “Continue.” “I’ve been talking to someone else.”

Amber went silent. Val could hear her purse her lips. “Talking? Or sleeping with.”

“Talking. Kissing, here and there. Flirting.”

After taking a moment to digest what he had said Amber yelled into the phone, “You fucking asshole. I trusted you!”

“Amber-”

“Don’t you fucking “Amber” me. You’ve been having sex with someone else when I have been dating you. Being loyal as fuck to you.”

“I have not been having se-” “Oh Bullshit. Val Chmerkovskiy does not, not have sex.” “It was her rule.”

“Whose rule?” “You know I won’t tell you that. But I haven’t been sleeping with her. Cause she said she wouldn’t do the cheating thing. She said I had to break it off with you if I wanted her. I was going to wait till I got off tour so I could do this in person but I couldn’t-”

“Cause you needed to have sex with her?”

“Fuck no! Amber. Because I’m in love with her!” Val dropped silent realizing what he had just said. Sharna started back at him shell shocked.

“Wow. Just plain wow.”

The producer of the tour came into the backstage area, “Val, you’re on in 2.”

“Coming!” He called. He spoke back into his phone. “I have to go. I’ll talk to you later.”

“No you won’t. Fuck you.”

Val hung up his phone and handed it to Sharna as he walked away and followed the producer to the stage. She looked at it and clicked the home button. He had reset his background to a picture of the two of them. She looked at it as she realized that she didn’t say anything back. She heard the music start playing to the next dance he was in but ran up the stairs to the stage anyway. She stood in the wing and watched him dance, when she caught his eye she mouthed the three simple words she had been scared to do. “I love you.”

Val smiled and wiped his head forward releasing more energy into the dance. Sharna walked back down the stairs, walking back over to the wall. He came off shortly after and met her there pushing her into the wall. “Yes. I can have you.” He captured her mouth in his own. There were cheers from the guys that saw it and a lot of smiles and “aww” from the girls. All of a sudden the both of them felt a vibrating.

“Oah, babe. Don’t get too excited.” She bit her bottom lip, looking into his eyes and she teased him.

“I’m not-” He smiled and laughed and then looked down into her hands where she was still holding his phone. It was Amber. He slid the button to the right. “Thought you weren’t going to talk to me again?”

“It’s her isn’t?”

“Who?” “I just need to know.”

“Amber-”

“Val, tell me it’s Sharna.”

“I won’t”

“She’s the redhead.”

“What?”

“She’s your redhead.”

“Amber- I didn’t mean to hurt you.”

“You never do, Val. I was told to stay away from you. I was told that there was only one girl you loved, that you would end up with inevitably. And stupid me, giving you a chance-”

“Amber, I don’t know what to say.”

“There is nothing to say. You screwed up.”

“I’m sorry.”

“I don’t want to hear “I’m sorry.” I just don’t want to be played anymore. I needed to hear it was her. I needed to know.”

“It’s her, Amber. It’s always been her.”

“Right.” And with that statement she was gone.

Val looked down at the home screen of his phone acknowledging what had just happened. Sharna tilted his chin up so he was looking at her. She stood on her tippie toes to align their mouths. “Hey. I love you. That’s what matters.”

He kissed her and they heard the producers voice interject again. “I’m sorry, guys. But you need to get changed for the finale number.”

Val looked at her and nodded. She turned to walk away from Sharna to the costume rack and she called after him. “Hey babe!”

“What?” “Zero days.”

Val laughed and smiled. “Zero.”

Later that night after the show finished, Val and Sharna walked outside towards the bus holding hands. They decided they didn’t care who knew, hiding was going to make their relationship so much bigger of a deal than it needed to be. The fans that were waiting for autographs acknowledged it and asked if they could take pictures with them together. They happily obliged and shortly after got on the tour bus, which was headed to a nearby hotel. Once they got there and were checked in, the group decided they were going to go to the hotel restaurant for a quick bite to eat but Val and Sharna decided to skip out and head upstairs.

They settled on spending their night in Sharna’s room. Their bodies pressed up against each other and they walked intertwined with each other. They fell down on the bed with Val on top of her. “Yes.” He unzipped the black hoodie that she had put on after the show and kissed her stomach right above her waistline. He stood up and lifted his shirt over his head. “You were really serious about the wait.”

“You didn’t think I would be?” “I thought you would be, but I also thought that I would be able to convince you.”  

“It’s going to be so much better now though babe.”

They undressed each other and made love for the next two hours.

Val rolled off of her and put his arm behind his head. “Wow.”

“Worth the wait?”

“Yes, and a thousand times over.” He turned his head to face her and pressed his lips to hers. Sharna reached for her phone on the nightstand and opened instagram. She noticed Alan was on instagram live. She pointed at it for Val and they opened it. She sat up and she cuddled under his arm.

The rest of the cast was in Alan’s room and they were playing Cards Against Humanity. When it wasn’t Alan’s turn to judge he began to read the questions out loud that were popping up on the screen. “What’s my favorite color? Blue. Which dance is my favorite? The argentine tango. Where are Val and Sharna?” Alan smiled looking at the last question and spoke to the rest of the cast.

“Where are Val and Sharna, guys?”

They all began smiling and laughing. “Gleb, where are Val and Sharna?” Alan flipped the camera towards Gleb, and he looked straight into the lens. “Val and Sharna, are spending some much needed alone time together right now.”

Val smiled and Sharna gasped.

Alan whispered from off camera. “They’re doing the nastayyyyy.”

Sharna let out a scream and Val started laughing. Sharna typed in a comment. “We most certainly are not.”

Alan saw the comment and read it outloud. “Guys, Sharna’s on here. She’s typing in.”

“Hey Shar!!” The girls yelled. “Text us the deets.”

“Guys! Stop!” Sharna typed again.

Val opened it on his phone and began typing comments as well. “Are you guys really playing that game right now?”

“Nice diversion, Val, not gonna work!” Alan spoke to the camera.

Alan continued talking. “For those of you that haven’t heard yet. Val and Sharna are a thing. I think you guys call them chmergess?”

The girls laughed from off camera and you can hear them all cheering with Lindsay’s voice saying “Chmergess!!!”

Alan read more of the comments coming in. He laughed as he pointed to one on the screen. “Yes, Chmergess is alive.”

Sharna put her head down and laughed into Val’s shoulder.

Keo echoed Alan saying “Alive, alive. Alive.” In a joking manner.

Sharna commented again. “Hate you guys.” She added with the laughing emojis. “We’re leaving.”

Gleb typed in the chat. “We all know where you guys are going.”

They both laughed again. Val typed again. “Ha. Ha. Very funny. Bye.”

ALan spoke to the camera again. “Have funnn.”

Val and Sharna both got out of the stream. She rested her head on his shoulder. “Did they really just do that to us?”

“They did.” Val span his phone around in his hand. “We’re public.”

“We are.”

Val opened his twitter and received an influx of tweets about him and Sharna, him and Amber, his relationship status. He closed twitter and opened his notes, composing an explanation that he would tweet out. Sharna looked over his shoulder as he typed. She pressed a kiss into his neck, calming him down. He wrote:

“To all my fans that are asking about Me and Amber, and Me and Sharna, I will address this only because I don’t want anyone getting undeserved hate. I have been dating Amber Rose for a little over 4 months. She is a great woman, with a great personality, who I have absolutely nothing but respect for. She’s not too happy with me right now but I hope that over time we will heal and we can be friends. She has reasons not to be happy but I don’t want to apologize for falling in love. The thing is, I didn’t fall in love with her. I noticed after all this time that I’m in love and have been in love with Sharna Burgess. She’s the love of my life and dragging Amber along when knowing this, seemed like the wrong thing to do. I’m not sorry for loving Sharna, I’m sorry for hurting Amber. But, Sharna and I don’t want to hide. We want to be public with our relationship, so please be respectful. Respectful of us and our relationship and respectful of Amber. We want to share as much with you as we feel comfortable with so show us that we can.”  

He attached a picture of the note to a tweet and sent it. Then he opened instagram. And attached a picture of the two of them, that someone had caught when they weren’t paying attention. He captioned it. “Guess I have a thing for redheads.”

Sharna smiled and looked up at him. “I’m your redhead girl.”

“That you are.”
