and the problem is that i think cyrus is a legitimately compelling narrative parallel for solas, irrespective of whatever bioware does (or forces upon me) vis-a-vis rook as a mirror for solas, because there's already so much written into hawke's story about regret. about a past you cant change and people you couldnt save and having to move forward and live well anyway.
