useless thought of the day is how i can't stop thinking about how the events of sherlock s4 take place during the 1989 era of taylor swift's career and there could've been a scene where blank space or something played on a car radio (would've added absolutely NOTHING to the plot but would've entertained me)

#given that sean bean and bill murray and elvis exist in the sherlock universe i just think it would be funny if taylor swift did too #(and i can see sherlock either being a ride or die or absolutely despising her...or maybe both but john would be indifferent)#i DO think sherlock took rosie to the eras tour though maybe with molly #either way i want to know what kind of music both of those guys listen to #because i see people headcanoning them as listening to taylor swift and hozier and yes okay but they're also in their 40s/50s #so i vote divorced dad rock #this is also partially inspired by how i just think fortnight from ttpd is one of the most johnlock coded songs in existence #my rambles #bbc sherlock
