Hi, I’m Iris! I’m a professional photographer, flower fan and battle teacher. I attend photography contests around the world, I have for a few years, and teach at @galarbattleacademy!

This is a personal blog, though I might reblog some school notices to get the information around to our students! Otherwise, this is just for fun. And to share photos of my Pokémon, of course :3

My Battle Team!

There was an optional test to take at the academy to see what Pokémon would suit you best, and I decided to take it — and got Wooper! I still wanted to find some team mates and have always loved Wooper + Quagsire, so I took it as a personal challenge and wanted to train one — Oxi had a shiny one already, and so gifted her to me. She is exactly how she looks: silly and overly friendly.

Togekiss is one of those Pokémon that I’ve always wanted to own, but unfortunately I could never find one. Then a friend of mine ran into an injured Togepi, and entrusted him to me to take care of him — which I did, of course! He is super friendly, always out about when I’m researching flowers outside of work & contests. He loves admiring the flowers with me.

I found her as a newborn, stranded and abandoned on a Glacier between Circhester and Spikemunth. Thankfully she was ok, and I took to taking care of her full time. She has refused to evolve, and wants to stay small. Don’t let it fool you though, she can be sassy when she wants to be!

I found him outside of Armour Station, and he followed me everywhere — so, I ended up catching him! Guava is very friendly, almost to a fault. He does love stealing my food though.

He was actually my first ever Pokémon! I found him when researching rare flowers in The Crown Tundra, he actually latched onto me and refuse to leave my side! Pepper is shy and very quiet, though is very good with the students — if they don’t push him into hiding, of course. Pepper is almost always out and about, staying by my side and watching the world unfold.

He was actually another gift from Oxi! Apple is confident, excitable and always in a good mood. He’s commonly out and about as well, especially since Enora is as well — those two being mated partners!
