if i can be honest. i think the whole jolene thing on here is getting a little performative and exhausting

#and if i can be even worse.... the fast car thing slightly as well. not nearly as much! just very slightly and recently.#there's absolutely nothing you could construe as genuinely objectionable about any of this i'm just being a hater #i don't believe you were that into jolene before. i think it got a early iteration of the four-paragraph Lesbian Headcanon Fiction post #and now we just all have to solemnly agree it's the Best Song forever #it's good! it's really good! they're both GREAT songs. almost certainly everyone just really does like jolene. it's good to listen to #i'm just gently wearied by the automatic stranglehold jolene has on tumblr's collective posting habits. i think it's gone away & it has not #box opener
