I've been gently motivated to start listening to and re-finding old hypnosis files again due to the reception to the previous post. I've been surprised at the amount of actually decent files I've come to remember, but still struggle to find many files that really blow me away. As I've said before, though, I'm a very stubborn owl.

That all being said, here are more files for your consideration.

Read all descriptions and warnings before engaging with these files. Do not engage with anything here or anything in my blog if you are under 18.

Dr. Voidritch's Experiment by Bloof

This is a ren.py game about being being a test subject for the eccentric Dr. Voidritch and his hypnotic experiments. It's rather silly and fun, while still having real hypnosis, and fairly competently done hypnosis at that. It's best to download it instead of running on browser.

There is also a sequel to this game called Lavender Labs, though I have not tried it. It seems a lot more like a slice of life thing with dating and hypnosis from the screenshots though.

The rest of these recommendations for today will be about one person, Dragontize.

I rediscovered her shortly after the last recommendation post, and was pleasantly surprised. The best way to describe her overall vibe is "deceptively cute".

She opens every file with the same endearing tagline, "Hello world, I'm Dragontize, I messssmerize with voice and eyes." Her voice is light and enjoyable, the intonation the type to make the edges of your mind feel like they're oozing with pleasant sensations in a minute or two of talking.

Her files are much more directly practical and hypnosis-centric than most, with even her fantastical story-based files keeping a good balance. This is all to say that at a minimum, you will enjoy yourself with these files, even if they may not blow you away.

A Slice of Fractionation by Dragontize

This is how I re-found Dragontize, the actual original file with Evil Fractionation I found! I couldn't locate it for a long time, and realized that the issue was DuckDuckGo being a kinda bad search engine when it comes to specific things.

While I'm working on an Evil Fractionation file myself, this one is a nice and casual overview of it.

Brainwashing Fractionation by Dragontize

A very straightforward and enjoyable fractionation file with the light theming of becoming a member of Dragontize Inc.

For the Very Motivated Subject by Dragontize

This is maybe her best file. It does an interesting sort of thing where the file functions as if you're in the room with her, signaling multiple times that she has moved in some way, but without actually seeing her at all. It doesn't overly describe what she is doing, it's a very naturalistic sort of script in contrast to the often overdetailed storybook manner that others do.

It also very effectively plays with the concepts of anticipation and focus. It demonstrates a better understanding of the psychological aspects of hypnosis than a lot of others.

Good Little Thief by Dragontize

Lastly, a light and fun fantasy session. It's about a thief that is tasked to steal something from a wizard. That's all I'll say.

I've been enjoying going through files even if I don't find many of them super effective. I hope you all will be able to enjoy them even more than I have.

I think there's a lot of hypnocreators that aren't decent people, sadly, but there's a lot who aren't around any more that I just can't say one way or the other.

I haven't heard any bad stuff about Shibby.

One that is very, very decent is @secret-subject). Her pinned post is an index of a lot of stuff.

There's also @ellaenchanting who has some audios out there but doesn't create regularly. What she does have is very good, and she is very principled.

There's others I know are decent (look at my trance tips post for a bunch of names), but I don't know if they have audios.

I also don't know what content you consider harmful. I am very restrictive on what I encourage other people to listen to, and probably err on the side of extreme caution, but will enjoy and expose myself to some of the wildest stuff.

There's also the question of what type of content you are looking or. Safe creators are often sadly very heteronormative.

Why can't hypnosis audio creators be decent people?? Like seriously, there's so much shit every single popular hypnosis file maker has going on besides maybe shibby and I'm not certain if that's the case. I'm not gonna ask for any recs btw, I don't really trust that enough, but if there's any creators I should look out for please feel free to reblog this and talk about them! While people absolutely can be rehabilitated, if the files themselves are harmful, they're not gonna magically be less harmful even if the person gets better

I recommend using the hermitcraft tab on the website, solely because the all videos tab sometimes misses some videos for some reason but the hermitcraft tab pretty reliably shows any video with hermitcraft in the title.

a further note on this!

any music, depending on the circumstances, can improve your hypnotic experience. yes, including noise walls and the heaviest or most energetic metal you can think of.

If you don't know any of them, there's links to all of them there. Check any (maybe especially 3D Country) and you may understand how odd the idea of trancing to those may be.

while truly any songs will work and affect and often better the trance, there are a few qualities to what songs or albums would work best for you:

It's familiar, but not burned out. One natural concern one might have is that they would focus on the wrong words if there were vocals on an album. I don't find that to be the case with most of my beloved albums, because the stimulus of them singing has become so normal to my mind that it is essentially just a second instrument. Even then, they serve as a thing to hook on to between the hypnotist talking.

That's the most important one, but here are some lesser qualities that do help:

2. The album maintains some relative consistency in sound. This would include volume and "sound font" to borrow a word from retro music.

3. You actually like the album. Fairly obvious, but it helps.

4. The music lacks any wake up trigger phrases. It doesn't tend to actually wake you, but it does make your brain make a decision to reject a suggestion, which can be a bit of a rock in the way. This goes the same for things like drop triggers, but I personally like when that happens.

5. The music is not linked to any strong feelings of depression, trauma, anxiety, and so on. This is not always a problem for subjects, but if you have an album you only listen to when feeling sad or one linked to something like a breakup, it would be wise to not play it while extra vulnerable to things.

lastly, i think i want to recommend some albums that, while not ambient, would be great to try out hypnosis while listening to (i also just love giving music suggestions):

Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You by Big Thief

An indie folk album with very flowing, natural instrumentation, a peaceful atmosphere, and some very nice textures. Tracks like Simulation Swarm and the title track would be some special things to look out for.

Forms of Paper by Steve Roden

This is basically an ambient album, but one with very very nice textures and panning sounds. I listened to this in full while in bed once without any trance at all.

Bitches Brew by Miles Davis

This jazz record is very long as it is the definition of a flow state. Every song feels like a rush of notes forming a perfect gradient of musical ideas to suit your mind state.

Cosmogramma by Flying Lotus

You'll just have to hear this one. Very wild and forward thinking, and has a lot of unique soundscapes.

tip for the easily distracted subjects during files or sessions: instead of white noise or binaurals, choose an ambient album.

unlike binaurals or white noise, ambient albums progress and continually provide a unqiue stimuli for your brain to chew on between the gaps that would normally let too many thoughts take over.

Im writing an essay for my ”narration and visualization of graphic literature“ course in uni and chose Sandman as the Comic I wanted to analyse (Im a big fan).

For that I wanted to address the characterization of death in comparison with other media in the historical context.

I came across lots of Greek mythology with Hypnos and Thanatos (Sleep and Death) as siblings and wondered if you chose Greek mythology for the inspiration for the Comic?

With that I also wanted to ask in general where you got the inspiration for Deaths personality, cause its very different from the “usual” characterization of Death.

If you have any recommendations for other comics, where the character death plays a role, I’d gladly take them.

The quotation that Sleep is the brother of Death set me thinking about a family. And the sexism of language -- people would imagine Death to be Dream's brother too... So that was where it began.

Death wasn't like other literary Deaths because I wanted to encounter someone new.

Thought of a Carcar au where Oscar is a Greek deity or demigod, and by pure coincidence Carlos throws him an apple to keep him alive after a tough race and Oscar is having a panic attack because of course Carlos is not asking his hand in marriage, but Zeus will kill both of them if he goes against their rules.

So now Oscar needs to explain to Carlos that they are engaged and they have until the end of the year to get married or both will be cursed and Oscar doesn’t want to deal with that.

(Spoiler 1: Carlos is also related to Greek Gods, but he’s being throwing apples to a lot of people before and no one asked to marry him. How would he know that Oscar would also be related to the same Gods? Why is always him?!)

(Spoiler 2: They end up drinking too much and got married in Las Vegas. Logan is the only witness they have for the wedding, because he was trying to prevent it, but didn’t know how to do it without revealing his and Oscar’s secret)

Okay yeah! So for written erotica, I've heard a lot of people really like the Erotic Mind Control Story Archive

Soundgasm.net has a good collection of hypnotic audio files and sessions, but you kinda have to know what you're looking for. I don't think you can search on the site so you kinda have to go directly to the pages of certain creators. I think. SecretSubject (also here) and JustMocha are two that I like a lot. Also I've listened to a few files from dalt0n and they were pretty fun.

I also recommend Lilith Unleashed's website for high quality hypnosis audios. Lots of good stuff there.

You can also find stuff on YouTube but it's not my favorite place to go for high quality hypnosis stuff. Especially erotic stuff, which often gets taken down due to censors. Ultra Hypnosis is pretty popular and decent in my opinion. Secret Subject also has a YouTube account, though I'm not sure if it has very much erotic hypnosis anymore. A lot of her content there is ASMR roleplay, though a lot of her hypnosis stuff is kinda roleplay-based too so maybe her content on YouTube isn't that different. When I was first getting into hypno stuff, I found a lot of content on YouTube from someone called Nimja, but I have now heard that he is someone to avoid due to predatory behavior and (non-consensual) manipulation.

Anyway yea those are some places I go outside of tumblr to find stuff. You can also like look up hypnosis and mind control tags on other porn sites but tbh I don't often seek out a lot of visual porn so I'm not the best person to give advice there. Hope this helps!
