What a weekend! Everyone is doing their long posts Hyperspace so I guess I'll do one as well. In summary, I had the best time with the best people. Festival is really a place where strangers become friends and friends become family. It was awesome meeting so many new people and meeting some of my internet friends in real life. It's an interesting and exhilarating feeling to hug someone for the first time even though you've known them for a while. And I got a lot of that this weekend. Yes, I worked, but not as hard as I saw everyone else working around me and I am in awe at what I saw and at their outcome. There are WAY too many people to tag, but just know that if we shared a laugh and a hug then you positively made my weekend the best one I've had in a while. I got to see a lot of great bands, and some pretty special moments probably never to be recreated, brought by Planeswalker, Archon Legion, and Helion Prime. Thank you so very much especially to @jason_ashcraft_ for trusting me to oversee all the merch for his three bands. It felt like coming home. But most importantly were the people I connected with. That can't be articulated properly how much it meant to me. Let's all do this again sometime soon, ok? I miss you all and can't wait to be in the same room together again. I didn't check in while I was at the airport in Vancouver because I managed to get pulled for THREE different "comprehensive" security checks and was so frazzled by the time I got out of it all I had just enough time to get a Starbucks order in and get to my gate just as they started boarding. But now I have a 5 hour layover in Seattle, so extra dirty martini o'clock it is. What a fantastic weekend!
