Got my hands on trying Hydromax line by MAXON brand. The reason I wanted to check it out because my cosmetologist always says to me that majority of the problems with skin even the acne comes from the lack of hydration. So I got two super high-quality products to check it out.

So, I've been doing a modified version of the "7 skin" toning method lately. Followers of K-beauty might have heard of this. It's where you apply 7 layers of toner to get more hydration and plumpness in your skin. I have oily skin, but also deal with tightness and dehydration so I figured I'd try it. I only do 3-4 layers b/c I don't have the time for any more than that. I will say that my skin is more plump and has more bounce. However, I get a similar effect from a sheet mask. Both methods require time, but applying 4 layers of toner takes less time than a 30 min sheet mask, so I like doing this in the morning. Initially it sounded like a torturous marketing trick (7 layers of toner, wat?! Who has time for that?) and a way to have people use up toner faster, but it did work for me. Since I have oily skin and dislike daytime lotions and creams, this has been a nice way to moisturize without the added weight/feel of a heavier product. *************************** Here's my #skincareroutine from earlier this morning, Saturday 2/4/17 Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser NIOD CAIS 1% Be The Skin Power Nutrition toner, 1st layer applied with cotton square, allow to sink in then 2 more dime-sized layers Loveisderma Hydramax Serum Algenist Eye Balm Onomie ACE Illuminating eye treatment, I've been mixing this with a bit of Algenist apricot color correcting drops and like that it helps minimize undereye darkness The Face Shop Eco Sun cream SPF 50 Glossier coconut balm dotcom
