Derek took a deep breath and nodded, his eyes going back from blue to his natural color. "Yeah, I understand." He did understand, that was fir sure. He didn't want to end up dead, because that would suck nor did he want to forget who he was. He had made a life for himself here, and that was thanks to his demons in Beacon Hills, wanting to be better. "Okay, you are right. I can do this. Man, this city really is getting on my nerves."

"Derek keep it together. Do not spiral." Peter glared at his nephew letting his eyes glow red to hopefully help Derek get control. "I am not saying it's okay but I am saying if you lose control instead of killing one you might kill ten or more. Understand?" His tone firm with Derek but there was a kindness to it. "You have to or you die. Is that better? Dying and forgetting those you love and care about? You die you'll have no understanding of your power and be dangerous."

Richie was trying to survive, that was the first thing on his agenda. The second was finding his boyfriend. If anything happened to Eddie and he wasn't there to protect the man, he would really lose his mind. He couldn't save him the first time back in Derry, he would be damned if he would lose the man in Hidden. So, he had looked everywhere he could think of and finally, he caught a glimpse of the man and he knew instantly that was Eddie. Running over to him, he pulled him into a hug and tears were starting to stain his cheeks. "For fucks sake, you better not die on me damn it."
