Chapter 1: Assignment

"Seonsaeng-nim!" Jungkook from the third floor ran as fast as he can towards the field below just to catch up to you.

"What is it?" You sternly asked.

"I wanted an additional assignment for extra points." He wiggled his eyebrows.

"I can't do that." You replied immediately.

"But I failed my preliminary exam in your subject, I want another assignment please. My father's going to kill me seonsaeng-nim." Jungkook pleaded and literally kneeled in front of you.

The corridors are now empty since it was the last period for all of the classes. It was getting late and cold. There were only a few passersby.

"Alright, I'll give you an extra credit assignment tomorrow. Call on the other failed examinees as well, so I could be fair to everyone." You cautiously delivered your instructions.

Jungkook hugged you, "Thank you Seongsaeng-nim! Goodbye. I'll tell it to my other classmates."

You felt your cheeks blush as he ran away while screaming for joy.

You rode the public transport and sat on an adjacent seat near the door. You fiddled with your phone when you noticed that someone sent you a friend request on Facebook. It was Jungkook.

A message popped up from the notifications, "Seonsaeng. Thank you very much for your consideration. I reallt really do appreciate it. Can I treat you for a dinner?"

"What? No. I don't like that." You typed vigorously.

"A coffee? You like that?" He replied.

"Sure. I love coffee."

"Fine. 8:30 near the Hwangseon Fountain."

"No. I thought you're going to bring me coffee?"

"No. If I will bring you coffee Seonsaeng, it will just become lukewarm. If I brought you to the place immediately, you'll enjoy the coffee."

"I'm fine with a mini-eleven coffee. It's just that..."

"You're boyfriend will get jealous?"

No. You idiot! I don't have a boyfriend!

Jungkook took a long time to reply.

"Seonsaeng-nim, do you wanna come over?"
