I think there is something to be said about posting live. I think often you put more life and vavavoom in the post. However consistency is key with Instagram. And you most definitely need a day off lady. So I say use schedulers for your posts to make sure you take much needed time away from your work. The other reason may be to ensure you post at optimum time for your feed.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My favourite all time scheduler is @planoly - I just really like it! How it's laid out, how easy it is to use. But it only does Instagram.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You may like others such as @buffer or @hootsuite - they usually come with a free trial for you to try them out.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The key is to making sure there's still life in your post, you put hashtags in and you schedule for the optimum time according to your analytics. Apologies this is a little late in the day, it's been manic today and had a crazy amount of sessions booked!! So day 11. What delights do we have for you today? The ever elusive IGTv. The instagram YouTube hybrid. You get to upload longer video's, you can use hashtags on them for search power, and there's even evidence to suggest that episodic content is working well! So how can you get the best out of it for your brand? Well you could come up with particular content just for IGTv such as tutorials, how to's, demos, talks or events. Try to bring something fresh that your followers don't get from your other social media content. Think of it more like YouTube that Instagram! My advice is to try content and see if it works, if people are watching then produce more!! It's still very new and how followers use it is really still being understood. Just pop the post up when you get chance? When you remember?! Or do you maximize potential to be seen?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How Hannah? How do I max potential to be seen?! I hear you shouting I do!! So in terms of time alone you're gonna post at your optimum time. Lucky for you if you have a business account, your insta analytics will tell you exactly what this time is.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Want my advice, for around a month post at all times of the day, even schedule through the night. Buffer let's you schedule ten posts for free. Then let Instagram work it's magic and tell you the best time. By putting posts out at all times initially you're testing the waters in terms of times for your audience. Your audience may be in different time zone so may be in bed when you're up for example!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are a few analytic apps around if you don't have a business account, so try one of these.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Then when you've done that research post at your optimum time. This will give you max likes and comments, insta will see the engagement and push your post up the old algorithm so then it gets seen by more people! Research shows that people click on profiles more that they can relate to, and these are usually profile pictures with people in them. It could be a picture of you, it could be a child wearing your product, it could be you holding your product. If absolutely none of these fit your business then go with your logo.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Your logo needs to be completely in brand and representative of your business. Even if you're an online business you could have "online party planner".⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This will get you found organically and will help followers to locate you.
