Today I am on a bittersweet journey. I am en route to Kauai to enjoy one of our first BIG vacations. Bear and I never had the money or time to take the 7 kids anywhere other than camping or short weekends to the mountains. Huge thanks to the 🐻s that are traveling with us. It matters. But this week I also witnessed the bravest, funniest, kindest, and hands down coolest family come together and be exhausted by the ups and downs of surrendering to Alzheimer's. I am so proud of my brothers and niece who are solders in this battle. My daddy will forever be my hero....and I think he knows why, I know my momma does. And lastly to the hospice team that are incredible people, and are now part of our family. To Alzheimer's, you can go screw yourself for taking what was not yours. The Mal B. from See Kai Run will be available March 2nd! See Kai Run helps provide shoes to our favorite organization called Peach's Neet Feet and last year, Mallory was selected to be a See Kai Run Superstar. All of See Kai Run's Superstars from last year were able to select and name a shoe for the Spring/Summer 16' line to help support Peach's Neet Feet's "Hustle Kindness" movement. The Mal B. comes in coral and gold and they are great for every little girl, but I'm especially in love with this design because it has a T-strap that velcros over the ankle and the forefoot! Mallory has wide and kinda chubby feet, so I can adjust them to fit her comfortably!

I want to thank See Kai Run and Madison "Peach" of Peach's Neet Feet for everything they've done for our family, helping to spread awareness and continuing the mission to Hustle Kindness!

This may look like just a silly pillowcase colored by a child. But it’s not. It’s one of the last times my mom could really sit and color independently. Before the Alzheimer’s took away that skill. After watching my mom battle Alzheimer's I have thought a lot about how I can help others battling this awful disease.
