Joachim Pastor delivers emotive new single ‘Goodbyes’

French producer Joachim Pastor has unveiled masterful new single ‘Goodbyes’, out 4th October, via Hungry Music and is set to be the first track from his debut album, poised for a release towards the end of the year.   A measured blend of organic and electronic elements, ‘Goodbyes’ creates a rich musical tapestry - taking the listener on a 7-and-a-half minute journey steeped in emotion. It’s Pastor’s second release of the year on Hungry Music, the label that he co-runs, following on from April single ‘Eiffel Powder’. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdwxK153CgY&feature=youtu.be Joachim Pastor’s musical journey began at the tender age of 4. He went on to study at the Versailles Conservatory and played in a number of bands before starting to produce his own music. His fast progression saw him stand out as a unique talent that became synonymous with pop and melody-infused dance music. He then formed Hungry Music in 2014 with friends and fellow French artists Worakls and N’to, thus allowing him to produce music just the way he wants it - often with powerful vocals, coloured beats and a tactful touch of guitar. Most recently he remixed Lost Frequencies feat. Aloe Blacc’s track ‘Truth Never Lies’ as part of an expansive remix package for the single. Looking ahead, Pastor will play LIVE at three Hungry Music showcases over the next couple of months, most recently The Steelyard in London (28th Sept), WesterUnie for Amsterdam Dance Event (17th Oct) and Warehouse in Nantes (18th Oct). ► ZH Agency invite Hungry Music / 2 places à gagner On continue dans la série des soirées à ne manquer sousaucun prétexte et cette fois-ci, c’est au tour de ZH Agency de nous proposer une soirée d’anthologie autour de la fameuse maison de disque Hungry Music, et ce en compagnie de ses trois membres principaux, j’ai nommé Joachim Pastor, N’to et Worakls !

                          Dernier arrivé chez Hungry Music, Joachim Pastor fait ses premiers pas dans le monde de la musique à l’âge de quatre ans lorsqu’il intègre le conservatoire de Paris (Oui en effet le gaillard ne sort pas de n’importe où). Après avoir joué dans divers groupes musicaux, le multi instrumentiste parisien se tourne progressivement vers la production et ce pour notre plus grand plaisir, ce qui lui ouvrira alors la voie d’une remarquable carrière électro déjà bien fournie, entre Watergate à Berlin et Rex Club à Paris. Prochaine étape : Entrepôt Bordeaux.    

                       Dans le sillage de monsieur Pastor, on aperçoit un certain Anthony Favier, plus connu sous son pseudonyme N’to. En provenance directe des calanques de Marseille, N’to fait partie de ces artistes qui se sont lancés dans la production avant de passer par la case DJ, et qui entre nous, l’ont fait avec brio. Il baigne dans un premier temps dans de nombreux styles musicaux et plus particulièrement le rock des années 70 mais c’est avec « Everything everything » d’Underworld qu’il va s’ouvrir à la musique électronique. Aujourd’hui, N’to c’est avant tout des sonorités tapageuses, pointillistes, retravaillées à l’extrême, qui viennent trahir vos habitudes et vous font découvrir une nouvelle facette de musique électronique, quelque part entre techno acérée et minimal onirique.              

            Le troisième briscard à rejoindre l’aventure Hungry Music à l’Entrepôt et un certain Kevin Rodriguez, véritable prodige musical qui apprend le piano dés l’âge de 3 ans. Plus connu sous son pseudonyme Worakls, Kevin a lui aussi étudié au conservatoire avant de se lancer dans la production de musique électronique, mélangeant alors styles et époques dans ces compositions, qui se caractérisent ainsi par leur intensité et leur maturité. En d’autres termes un monsieur à ne rater sous aucun prétexte !      

                                 Et comme chez ZH Agency il semblerait qu’on ne fasse jamais les choses à moitié, le lillois EFIX vient compléter ce line up des grands soirs. Une brève description peut-être ? Inspirations jazz + musiques balkaniques + deep house = EFIX. Bref je te laisse faire le calcul, cette soirée s’annonce fort sympathique camarade !
