There’s been so much love from y’all i’m british i shouldn't be allowed to say y’all over the past 24 hours and in my actual life it’s been a pretty shitty 24 hours so I really appreciate all the wonderful comments and lovely people, I can’t fathom your kindness rn. You’ve rendered me speechless! Eh, not really, here we go...

@thirstresponsibly Ah, I’m afraid I am a teenager but I promise not to be too scary like a few of my peers are. Protective!Bucky is a big fave, but I wanted to do a bit less fighty protective and more of a soft protective. I’m glad you enjoyed it!

@sydariah That’s exactly what I was going for! Bucky’s comforting arms will take all our pain away, my friend :)

@lostinspace33​ Pretty much, yeah, Bucky wouldn’t have treated them as kindly as the police did, I’m pretty sure.

@avengersbabe13 I’m a total sucker for a damsel in distress too, i get you completely, but I couldn't resist making it a tad more realistic. Bucky would’ve had to be stopped beating that kid up so we had some soft, caring protection instead.

For someone as skilled as you to enjoy lil old me’s writing makes my heart feel so full, it’s crazy to me, I can’t quite comprehend it nor explain it coherently. You just wrote so much and reblogged everything and it’s just mind-blowing that you even enjoy my writing at all let alone this much! And that specific line in chapter 11 resonates particularly with me, too, so I’m glad it did with someone else! These are some different replies than I’m used to getting, but I knew they would be. I would apologise for that horrible ending but since I know just how fluffy this fic is overall, I ain’t gonna ;) Thanks again for all your feedback and loveliness! Chapter Seven should be out in a few hours and I’m also working on a little Bucky oneshot on the side, just because.

@mehfuture You literally made me squeal when I read this comment. I mean, a genuine, loud squeal that made my dad look at me like I was going mad. Whilst I’m kinda sorry about all the feelings, I’m not really because I just can’t believe my writing would make you feel all that much! I’m also so glad you thought this was the best chapter, I put a lot of thought into it so I’m so glad it paid off! You’re the best, thank you <3

@ign-is I only use the word cliffhanger in the most extreme of circumstances. It’s got a way to go yet, though, so don’t lose hope! Also, I think this is one of my favourite comments I’ve ever gotten because I am so so glad to hear you thought I portrayed the team well, I was super nervous about that! I was definitely trying to avoid caricaturing them too much (although I so did with Thor and Loki I think aha) and subtle was exactly what I was going for so thank you thank you thank you :D

@thirstresponsibly It took me a while to decide how I wanted Steve to react so I’m glad I made the right choice! I think it just made sense that he wouldn’t believe it in my head too. I’m so glad I have you gripped, I’ll try to keep it that way, although there isn’t all too much drama for a while now <3
