I don't know why I'm thinking so hard about Mermaid Alec and Ray's anatomy. Like, this is an AU, not even an official AU for me cuz I was like: Haha what if Alec and Ray but Mermaids. But now I gotta do it, I gotta make this a fr AU by writing for it. Cuz somehow, for one reason or another, I'm thinking so much about their mermaid anatomies, something that I don't even actually need to think about but I am.

#aria rants #i just wanted to draw them with mermaid forms... but no. apparently i yearn for the worldbuilding (i blame dunmeshi)#so instead of just putting mermaid stuff on alec and ray im actually thinkin bout it on a deeper level than aesthetics #bruh why cant i channel this energy for my other ocs like cmon now. really? for alec and ray? for AN AU??? CMON NOW!#actually why cant i channel this energy on alec and rays ORIGINAL UNIVERSE in agony... their stories there are still so horribly #incomplete but i cant fill it in much cuz... no ideas 😔alec and rays world is just modern earth i cant worldbuild there #me when i love worldbuilding so much apparently but shackled by the fact that the canon universe of my main ocs #aint living in a world where i can feed my worldbuilding side by creating for it so im left to worldbuild in other ways #that is also not in ways that i SHOULD be worldbuilding for cuz i have so many other worlds i gotta build but no.#im putting all this energy on an au with alec and ray as mermaids.
