Little sketch with my oc Riley and human Koraidon.
He acts like a brother with the MC and the other kids and like to carry Riley around. They started traveling together after they met and now they’re inseparable.

Holy trinity of Mascot Legendaries whose designs are not really my taste but the game did such a damn good job at endearing them to me by giving them adorable/ goofy and charming personalities that I would die for them.

For a while I've wanted to do a comic inspired by @/turtleboyofficial and @/ask-azelf-nuzlocke where Terapagos wakes up on its own, assumes human form, escapes from Area Zero, and basically takes the place of the protag, with... interesting results. (Specifically during the DLC.)
#I've already got a gijinka form sketched out#its non human parts like skin color and nose and whatever are gonna be based on sada and turo because those are the fist “humans” (AIs)#that it would ever see#which makes Arven hella sus of it#OH OH it escapes from Area Zero on Miraidon/Koraidon's back when they're fleeing from the other territorial lizards#yes they will both be in this au. I'm mashing the games together like potatoes#just read the wiki and apparently it's based on lonesome george so there'll be a gag when debating on a human-sounding name related to that#but I think I'll call it Estelle as a human name#yes I know that's a boy's name but we got a guy who looks like the Queen of England named Bede so it could be worse#and of course N's real name as well#might get started on this over winter break. idk#holy shit that's a lot of tags#hey if you like this idea could you reblog this thanks#kelp me#pokemon#terapagos#pokemon scarvi#pokemon scarlet and violet#the indigo disk#pokemon scarlet#pokemon violet

Pokeddexy day 27: Coolest Pokemon
Koraidon got my attention since the premiere of the trailer, it's just looks so cool!
#“Korai” the Koraidon#pokemon#pokemon fanart#pokémon#pokemon gijinka#pokeddexy#fanart#pokeddexy 2023#Ally's OCs#He's the leader of a Koraidon herd in ancient times#Got eeby deebied by Professor Sada when he was protecting his clan from a predator#Now in Area Zero he's constantly worried about the state of his clan and always stay clear from other paradox pokemons#I simply call the past paradoxes as “Screamer” and “Korai” mostly because they speak in an ancient language#So Sada can't know what their real name is#Meanwhile certain future paradoxes (like say... Val from day 21) are capable of both human and pokemon speech#So Turo have an easier time understanding and naming them

That frigid air... he had known cold like this before. It had been a long, long time ago, longer than anyone nowadays would remember, but when Koraidon was still home, when the lands we walked on were still nameless, he could swear he'd met a being of similar frost before.
The winged King shivered. He admittedly wasn't fond of the cold, but he could live with it. Koraidon scanned the area, and then he saw him.
The remnant of the original dragon.
Koraidon prayed he wasn't here to fight. He wouldn't let himself be bullied, not anymore, but he also knew his chances of victory were slim to none. Kyurem and Koraidon were both typing wise effective against eachother, but Kyurem was literally a GOD - Koraidon had no delusions of grandeur that would deceive him into believing he could win this, least of all easily.
LORD OF FROST,
the fighting type signed with his webbed hands,
I PRAYETH THOU HAST NO INTENTION OF FIGHTING. I WISH ONLY TO BE THINE ALLY.
#koraidon breaks out the oldtimey speech in case that is more proper considering he last ''felt`` kyurem when it was still ancient times#when the original dragon was still whole#which is when i imagine koraidon and the other paradox mons would still be alive#anyway ur pick if u want kyurem to be in his real form or in his human form both work fine!#kyuureimu

Make Yandere concept for Miraidon from Pokemon with a trainer darling please! :)
I played Violet and while I was originally going to have Miraidon and Koraidon separate, I felt I had the same idea for both of them so it ended up combined if that's fine?
Overprotective! Miraidon/Koraidon with Trainer! Darling
Pairing: Platonic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Overprotective Pokemon, Violence, Clingy behavior, Fear of loss/Trauma, Brief blood mention, Dubious companionship.
I imagine the easiest way to write this is to make Miraidon/Koraidon the one that accompanies you through your whole journey.
The one that saved you from wild Pokemon... the very same one you ride across Paldea on... and the one you saved by getting it back to full power.
This Miraidon/Koraidon would be the closest to you compared to the secondary one near the end.
After all, it's been with you since the start.
You even helped it by regaining its powers with Arven.
Due to how much you help each other of course it's going to be overprotective.
Even in Low-Power/Limited Build mode it would try to protect you from the wild Pokemon in the area.
You may not take it into battle often if at all, but Miraidon/Koraidon still sees you as a trainer and friend.
Miraidon/Koraidon may even find exploring with you fun.
Climbing, gliding, swimming, etc....
It's comfortable with you on its back.
A reason for Miraidon/Koraidon clingy and overprotective behavior may be due to the fact it feels indebted to you.
You helped it, it helps you, that's your bond!
As a result Miraidon/Koraidon never wants to part from your side.
Even before it was fully recovered it would try to stand in front of you and wild Pokemon.
Miraidon/Koraidon for the most part is behaved.
It watches carefully as you fight trainers, it sits in a behaved manner as you speak to vendors.
I feel Miraidon/Koraidon attachment would grow over time during Violet/Scarlet's events.
By the end of it, where Miraidon/Koraidon is fully recovered, the obsession has set in.
It insists on carrying you everywhere.
It insists on being the first to battle.
Miraidon/Koraidon would one shot other Pokemon to impress you.
Nearly every hit is critical.
After all... you could've gotten hurt!
Miraidon/Koraidon is worried you'll get hurt like it did.
In fact it took forever for it to get back to it's full potential.
As a result Miraidon/Koraidon is overly protective of you.
It freaks out if the second Miraidon/Koraidon comes anywhere near you.
After all that's how it got hurt in the first place, yeah?
Near the second Miraidon/Koraidon yours may get possessive due to territory.
You can't get hurt! It won't let it!
Which is what makes it snappy towards other trainers and Pokemon around you....
Sometimes it even hits Pokemon too hard, making them bleed.
Sometimes it'll even bite at humans with a growl before standing in front of you.
It doesn't care what happens to anyone except you (and your friends... but even then it's more attached to you).
Miraidon/Koraidon no doubt feel it's doing you a favor by protecting you.
It's dealing with its own trauma in a way.
So obviously it has to protect you from everything!
You two are friends... companions... a Pokemon and a trainer.
Isn't this what it's supposed to do?
Who else will protect you if your own team can't?
If Miraidon/Koraidon feels you are in danger, it's quick to drag you out of it.
Even in situations where you express slight anxiety your Pokemon is set off.
Really, this obsession is it trying to return the favor.
Perhaps some sort of fate dragged you two together.
You two were meant to protect together!
Your Pokemon would do anything for you.
After all, you saved it!
So it will save you... from everything!
Even if it makes them a danger to others.

#1007.? - Appearing to be the “Winged King” referred to in an old expedition journal, Koraidon are believed to be the ancient ancestors of the modern Cyclizar. Not much is know about these powerful and ferocious Pokemon, but it can be theorized how they may have evolved over time into the contemporary relative that lives alongside humans today. Koraidon possess immense strength and impressive plumage, features that would have aided them in the more dangerous and wild world of their ancient era. As seen in Protosaur, it is likely that over time, Koraidon lost their bold coloration and excessive feathering, becoming smaller and more docile as they entered into a partnership with humans. Cyclizar as we know them have a mild temperament and enjoy the mutualistic relationship they share with people. Perhaps this is an example of self-domestication? More research is necessary to draw concrete conclusions about this possible evolutionary tree...
Named: Koraidon - - Ayernole - - Cyclizar
#1008.? - Will be added at a later date.

Arvin and kieran meeting a kind peacharunt hybrid reader who can make mochi but prefers making a antidote to the mind control mochi.
Arven
No matter how far apart you are from Pecharunt, you could always sense whenever he's up to trouble in Kitakami.
You're basically his foil, serving up mochi that are antidotes for the mind-controlling mochi he throws at people.
You get that he only wanted to be loved (and maaaay have an inferiority complex bc your owners favored you more for being half-human and capable of conversation), but he never listens to reason...he hasn't for years.
So you lived peacefully among humans, keeping up a good disguise and being friendly to locals and tourists alike--and ofc keep an eye on Pecharunt's dormant state no matter what.
You then meet Arven, Florian/Juliana, Nemona, Penny, and Kieran....and that's the one time you turn your back before all hell breaks loose.
It got out of control quick, and you rush to cure everyone, starting with Arven as you coaxed him into eating your mochi dish.
Which was hard since he couldn't stay still, and you could see how embarrassed he was.
But he seemed to understand that you were trying to help him out.
After he's back to normal, he initially thinks you're the one responsible for the outbreak...until you point to the other Pecharunt floating in the sky, still taking control over Penny.
You thought he would have been so confused seeing two of the same 'mon.
But considering he encountered two Miraidons/Koraidons, it doesn't surprise him at all.
Although he wonders why you're more human than the other Pecharunt...
Even after all of that, he's still gonna be super cautious about eating mochi (unless he sees you prepare it, put it on the plate, and serve it with his own two eyes).
Kieran
He's read stories about Pecharunt growing up, but is still convinced that it's a bad guy who ordered the Loyal Three to mercilessly attack Ogerpon and her trainer.
At the festival of masks, you frequently performed shows about the tale, and Kieran frowns whenever you're on stage, depicted as a hero.
Even in town, you're always dressed in that same garb that reminds him of that Pokémon.
He suspects that it's not a costume and you're really Pecharunt incarnate, wearing a disguise that fools everyone but him.
But he was too shy to ever confront you about it--or at least until Mochi Mayhem's events take place, and he believes you were making everyone act weird.
He freaks the HELL out when you approach him and Florian/Juliana after they battled his grandparents, cowering and begging you not to make him "like the others".
Luckily, you calmed him down by curing them right there and then, which makes him realize you're not the Pecharunt from those stories.
He feels terrible for all the years he's spent judging you, but you forgive him, knowing there's a greater issue at stake.
You admire how much he has grown over the years: from being such a sweet and shy kid to a strong trainer who helped you calm down the locals while his friend captured the other Pecharunt.
You decided it was for the best that he went with them, and you remained in Kitakami to watch over Kieran and Carmine.
You also helped him realize the story of Pecharunt, the Loyal Three, and Ogerpon wasn't so black and white, opening his eyes to a new perspective and that struggle with love and acceptance he himself could relate to.

i have a possibly stupid question
how did cyclizar become rideable? i mean like, did they specifically develop in order to be useful to humans, or was there a different reason as to why their anatomy makes it so humans can ride on their backs? did they use to be ridden by humanoid pokemon like gardevoir and hatterene? dgdsfhfd sorry if the question is stupid i just want to know
cyclizar are an example of a truly domesticated pokemon, similar to lillipup or wooloo! although we don't know exactly when they were domesticated, we do know that they were already pretty much in the form that we see them now at least by 10,000 years ago, since we have cave paintings depicting them being ridden. it's astonishing how little difference there is between those depictions and the modern-day cyclizar! we estimate that their actual domestication was somewhere between 20,000 and 30,000 years ago.
unfortunately, we have no confirmation of what cyclizar looked like before then aside from some bones here and there, nor do we fully understand their evolutionary path. with the recent discovery of the presumed-ancient pokemon koraidon, theories have arisen that the saddle-like protrusion on their backs are a modified version of the feathery crest on koraidon's hips. in koraidon these seem to serve the purpose of acting as a territorial display, but selective breeding could be the reason it shifted to its stiffer form- if koraidon is truly the ancestor of cyclizar.
human-like pokemon such as gardevoir aren't known to attempt to ride cyclizar in the wild, and we have no evidence to show that they at any point in history were doing so. i know gardevoir can be trained to ride other pokemon, but it's difficult to do, and it's not a natural behavior.

Juliana & Pepita
A little more lore about my Juliana: Koraidon is the only Pokémon she has a nickname for. Her father was against using Pokémon to battle each other, saying it was disrespectful to do so for human entertainment, calling it "bread and circuses"; so Juliana feels like a hypocrite and is afraid that her father, wherever he is, will be disappointed with her for not only being a trainer, but also a champion.
She is very reserved, and reckless. Nemona, Arven, and Penny have no idea where she goes or what she does when they are not with her.

So I've seen a number of different posts about Kieranpon. An absolutely wonderful au created by @shima-draws and since championed by @angelabsol. It's an wonderful au and a delight when written with Dipplinshipping. We need more though, so I raise you Juliraidon.
There are a lot of ways to accomplish Juliana being either Koraidon or Miraidon but my favorite is that she's Just Like That. Whichever professor you prefer was pulling Pokémon from this tear in space time and out pops one of the two except suddenly it turns into a child. This works for either MC honestly, and is especially fun with twin aus considering the fact there's two Koraidon/Miraidon.
There's just so much untapped potential. The strange sibling dynamic that'd end up evolving between Arven and Julian. The absolute feral glee Nemona would get upon realizing her rival and best friend is actually a Pokémon, you will get Nemona on her knees begging and whining for a battle. If you prefer the angstier side of things you've got the unethical science bits, whichever professor summoned her treating her like a science experiment.
I especially love Juliraidon in the same universe as Kieranpon because you've got shy nervous Kieran who's desperately trying to pretend that no sir he isn't a Pokémon what are you talking about. Meanwhile there's the feral hell lizard who'd shank Arceus for half of a mold sandwich and didn't know what in the world a human even was until a couple years ago.
Personally I'm a fan of Dipplinshipping, but Juliraidon works for way more than just Dipplinshipping and while it might be my favorite I am by all means a multishipper.
I will absolutely keep going with headcanons for this au if someone encourages me.

"I—I was just an experiment. That really is all I was, that whole time. You don’t spend unnecessary time with experiments. You don’t teach them to cook, or—or play with them, or comfort them when they’re actually sick, or stay home with them. You check in and get data and hope that they turn out like you wanted.
That’s all I was. That’s all…
That’s all I’ve ever been.”
A little doodle for this terrifyingly sad fanfic of Arven... who unfortunately becomes Professor Sada’s little experiment, AKA having Koraidon’s cells implanted and transforming into something not quite human. I had a very vivid picture of this transformation, but alas my mood to draw just conked out at the sketch XD Check it out!
