When people ask me if I’m married, I say “Never been married, I’m single with 20 plus or so kids!” I would have it no other way.

Asked the boys to give the walk area outside of House of Hope a rinse. They went above and beyond and gave it a bath! Good job guys!

When I learned that our dear Sanjana’s brother, Naitik, was at a different home, I knew he was meant to be united with her at House of Hope. So, welcome Naitik to House of Hope! It’s heartwarming to see them together and not at two different places.
Of course when I was out on a scooter round today and saw a shirt at one of my favorite stores that read, “Blessed” it was meant for Naitik! We are all blessed in so many ways.

Our team has been working hard to begin House of Hope two, which is a home for young men orphaned because of AIDS who are older than 18. During this process we learned that THREE of the kids we nurtured earlier have died from AIDS....Neha, Anup and Ritish. Sometimes you try and save the world and the world just kills you. I’m feeling really defeated about right now. Can we defeat AIDS. PLEASE! For the sake of the children. www.HFhope.org

Thank you to everyone who supports our work (I'm tagging many of you). Please consider a gift right now before the new year as we open our first-ever AIDS orphanage!! When you want to see what "calling" can look like, this is what it did for me. Nearly 9 months ago I sold EVERYTHING from the USA and came to India with "Twp checked pieces and a carry on" to serve people living with HIV/AIDS. Nine months later the story is even better - hundreds of people saved from AIDS, hope instilled within thousands and one mission remains the same " Serving people living with HIV/AIDS and giving hope to thrive!" This leap of faith has been rocky, difficult and down right brutal at times. Your calling might look like this - but we all have a calling and a purpose and it is my hope that everyone watching over these nine months realize that you too have a calling and purpose and it is usually bigger than you! We are 100% donor funded in our work - you can read more and support us at https://www.gofundme.com/BigBrotherIndia

I know Facebook became Princebook yesterday, but I bet Prince would have appreciated a group of our kids, here in India, who are all orphaned by AIDS and living with HIV themselves, spending their Earth Day painting! That's exactly what we did - we painted, we created, we dreamed, we we all together loving on each other. I have known the kids know for 2 years and they are smart, they great looking kids, they are kind, they are talented, they are all things good - they needed someone to believe in them. We do at HF. Thank you for Sanjay Patil for always making these programs happen and to Anjali Raut for coming up with the concept. Please considers supporting our work at any amount or in anyway so we can serve more children who are not as blessed to have someone believe in them - most let go in life. We are writing a different ending to life. Give here: https://www.gofundme.com/BigBrotherIndia

During Wheels of Hope, which is an HF resource program for anyone living with with HIV/AIDS in Nagpur, India, we had a married couple arrive. Soon we learned that all their "issues" had nothing to do with HIV or AIDS but rather the wife, who struggles with deep depression. We talked things out and tried to get to the "root" - to her feeling unworthy about everything. She didn't even want to come to our meeting but she did - that was progress. Regardless, we are making sure she receives daily help to free her from the current bondage's that make her so scared to go out of our her home, or work or even look herself in the mirror. Our work doesn't always solve people problems immediately but they always have people leaving feeling happy and full of hope to face the future in a way so they might be free and healthy in all ways. We are giving the best medicine of all as we meet with thousands of people in Nagpur, India who need the best medicine of all - HOPE!! We can't live only on Hope alone but we can't live without hope. You gotta give them hope! That's what we do! We have hundreds of families waiting on our waiting list to meet with us - it costs around $40 USD to help a family with anything (Medical, bills, food, etc). Feel free to make a $40 donation (make it monthly if you like) so we can keep giving hope and setting people free: https://www.gofundme.com/BigBrotherIndia
