Okay, here's the continuation. I love (G)I-DLE and their Chinese ver. As a Chinese person there's like no Chinese songs :( But like the gov did ban Kpop (Not like it's working cuz how would that work?). Which makes sense. But makes me so sad cuz people always bash Chinese idols, like the thing with Yiren. Like there's no democracy. I agree it’s rly sad how Chinese idols are being treated especially the women tbh. There’s videos of Got7, Seventeen and Exo Chinese members not bowing but they don’t get the shit Yiren got (not saying anyone should get shit but still if you’re gonna bully Yiren why wouldn’t u do the same to male idols that did the exact same thing as her?). Smth rly messed up was how Chinese contestants were edited as villains or just rly bad and incompetent ppl on girls planet 999 :/ Fu Yaning, Huang Xingqiao, Wang Yale, Liang Jiao and Cai Bing especially and that’s probably not all :/ I’ve heard that apparently some ‘fans’ actually tell foreign idols to shut up when they wanna speak at fansigns :/

I do think it’s rly important to separate government from people! For ppl who need proof/understand how ppl ≠ gov works u can just remind them that Russians are protesting the war with Ukraine (ppl often show more understanding if u use a western example unfortunately)!

China doesn’t recognize my country (which sucks) but I’ve had Chinese friends my whole life so Ik that it’d be stupid to have anything against Chinese ppl when it’s their government that makes decisions which don’t always reflect the people’s opinions!

The only group other than (G)I-DLE I can think of that has Chinese versions of songs is EXO and then NCT Dream’s Chewing Gum — I wish there was more tho bc it’s so beautiful! Let’s hope (G)I-DLE will make a Chinese version of their upcoming comeback✨
