crying again cuz i just realised hualian are both mama's boy ohmygawd there's xie lian who intentionally cooks food in a horrible way and names them weirdly in remembrance of his mother and immediately went to talk to his mother in her resting place after finding out abt qi rong and then there's hua cheng who left home at the age of 10 after his mother (the only person who loved him at that time) dyed and still remembered one of her love songs that he sings for xie lian (it's not in the book and the author said she that she scrapped that draft off and SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE I'VE BEEN ROBBED) and i also like to believe that they both got their mom's genes CUZ HELLO ???
