June is the winner! (Sorry, August. So close.) I’ll take a look at a calendar and take some comments into mind and pick a specific week, but you should all know the dates for this shortly.

NO AI - The use of AI for this event is strictly prohibited. You must create your piece yourself.

Please post the piece on your own blog instead of sending it in an ask.

Please only post the piece the day of the event in your timezone. Late pieces will be accepted.

Use a read more if necessary. 

Anything Goes. Really. Think your piece is too dark or taboo? It will still be accepted and reblogged. Just make sure to tag and warn for themes such as “graphic depictions of violence”, “major character death”, “noncon”, and “underage sex”. (Basically, ao3’s big warnings.)

Rating: Any rating is allowed.

Warnings: Please put content warnings at the beginning of your piece or as part of the caption if they are necessary.

What kind of pieces can you make? Anything! Absolutely anything. Have fun with it. Write a fic, do some art, make a moodboard or edit, etc. I’ll be accepting anything you can think of. 

No sending/spreading hate or harassment. Any of this will get you blocked.

Tagging: The official tag for the event will be #httyd villains ship week.

You can either use this tag and/or tag the blog somewhere in your post. Tag the ship as well! Either as character A/character B or as a portmantue for the ship. (Example: Vigcup)

Other tags to use will be what day your piece is for, be it numbered or the name of the prompt.

Community Labels: I am not going to be strict about these. Use tumblr’s community labels at your own discretion. 

The ao3 collection will open at the time of the event and stay open afterwards for any late submissions. 

You do not have to complete a piece for every day. You can still participate by doing one day or a few days.

By the way, absolutely taking prompt ideas! The askbox is open! Prompts should be less specific and more generalized so they can be inspiration for a variety of things!

Once the poll is over I will be making a Google form to choose which 7 prompts to use for the event. The final list will come with alternate prompts that you can swap out, and I might make an NSFW prompt list as a bonus!
