Golden Hair

The year is 1969. Izzy hands is the lead singer and guitarist of his garage band. One day he notices someone new in the crowd of usuals - who wouldn’t notice that bright golden hair?

Stede Bonnet is new in London — his recent divorce leading him to own a small record store near Izzy’s usual performance spot. He’s always loved music, always wanted to perform, but all his life everyone has only ever told him how bad he is, whether it be at singing, playing instruments, or just performing in general. And up until meeting Izzy, he fully believed it.

Though he’s frustrated at first by the complicated feelings he gets around Bonnet, Izzy can’t help but find himself searching for that striking golden blonde hair in the crowd. Yes, Stede is kind of a bumbling idiot, but he can’t help it that nobody ever taught him how to play. He’s actually kind of a natural at the guitar, albeit too self-conscious to believe it.
