Ambrose, the mysterious former Rose Quartz Stoneheart, has recently returned to the spotlight.

It seems he's started alchemy, wandering from planet to planet in search of "poor souls" who needs his help.

Rumors spin that he is a mage from a planet so remote, that the IPC had no information about it. None that he would give willingly.

He never refutes nor confirms these claims, however, only responds with a sly smile.

Jester, a Masked Fool who bears a striking resemblance to the court jesters of old, has recently resurfaced in the Belobog area, up to his old tricks.

An enigma to most outside of The Fools, his mismatched blue and pink eyes and dark purple hair would make him more than easy to pick out in a crowd, but his jester-like attire only makes that easier.

Handing out flowers made of cards, he truly is a strange sight to most. Popping up when you least expect, and then leaving just as abruptly. Unless he takes an interest in someone.

Then you'll never get rid of him.

He did a little backflip in the air and landed on the ground in a small bow, gracefully taking off his mask as he went.

Sugilite had been uncharacteristically quiet after the banquet he had been forced to attend being a Stoneheart and all. When he got home, he worked in the kitchen.

But nothing was going right. He had dropped a couple eggs, burned the food, and wasn't enjoying it. Normally he found solace and happiness when he cooked, but he wasn't feeling any of that.

Ambrose had noticed his low mood the moment he walked through the door, however he kept his distance at first when he'd gone to the kitchen. He stayed in the corner, keeping out of his way and watching him work.

However, as time went on, Ambrose could see his frustrations grow. He furrowed his brows and stepped close to Sugilite, wrapping his arms around his waist as he faced the stove.

"Darling," He whispered, resting his chin on Sugilite's shoulder. "Are you alright? Silly question, I know, but...perhaps you need a break."

The bells on his hat jingled a little as his tiled his head to examine Lilac. He giggled a little, smiling behind his mask.

Swallowtail crawled in through the Stoneheart's office window, kneeling beside the man's chair and resting his head against the cold surface of Shilou's leg. One of his hands was hidden under his cloak, which should've been a dead giveaway of his condition, yet he wore it well.

Blood slowly trickled down from his wound, to his hand, to his elbow, and onto the pristine marble floors. He sighed shakily, shifting in order to meet Shilou's eyes.

"I'm sorry for the random visit.. I jus' wanted to see you.. 'n I'm getting blood all over your floors.. how much more useless can I get.."

Intro

The eldest sister of Sunday and Robin, Dove never believed in The Family or Gopher Wood.

After a falling out with both Gopher Wood and Sunday, she defected from The Family and left Penacony entirely, eventually finding her way onto the Astral Express.

Sunday didn't exactly approve of her before she left. She'd gotten many, many piercings, a large tattoo on her arm trailing up to her neck, and overall had started distancing herself from The Family more and more until the argument came.

However, she never truly kept her eyes off of Sunday and Robin. She couldn't, her instincts as an older sister prevented her from completely cutting them off. So she watched them in secret, kept tabs on her precious siblings.

Character Relationships

Sunday, her younger brother. The last time she saw him before she defected from Penacony, she had gotten into an argument with him and Gopher Wood.

Robin, her little sister. She didn't see her the day she defected from Penacony, so she's missed her very much.

Caelus/Stelle (Trailblazer), good friends. She had been part of the Astral Express crew for about 5 years already when they came around, and they get along fairly well with her. She calls them a trash panda affectionately.

March 7th, good friends. She sees her as a younger sister, and loves to take photos with her. She has a whole album full of pictures March has taken. She won't make the mistake of forgetting how they look again.

Dan Heng, very good friends. They have a strange platonic chemistry together. Dan Heng is curious about the Halovian species, and Dove enjoys his comforting silent presence. They often sit in the passenger car at night when they both have nightmares, just silently sitting together. She couldn't bear to burden him with her struggles after learning of his own.

Himeko, mother figure. She didn't have a mother figure she could remember, and Himeko acts like what she expected a mother to act like. She doesn't want to cling to her but it's so hard not to. She misses her mama.

Welt Yang, somewhat of a father figure. She finds him easy to talk to and have intelligent, civil discussions with. The complete opposite of what she had with Gopher Wood.

Mr. Reca, good friends and lovers. She's not even sure how she fell for him. His enthusiasm drew her in. Not to mention how good at acting she is, that caught his attention. If only he knew how she got so good.

Aventurine, good friends. They met and got to know each other through Sunday. She admires his personality and his relentless "optimism". She also sees how they both broke out of gilded cages.

The dreamscape shimmered.

One moment, Sparkle stood center stage in a carousel of applause and flickering lights—plastic stars blinking above a velvet sky. The next, the lights died. The audience vanished. Silence swelled like a held breath.

And then—

Crk… crk-crk-crack.

A jagged fissure split the sky, and from it, something began to leak. Not liquid. Not light. A sound—like a song being remembered by someone who had never heard it.

❝ ♫ Little goldfish, painted bright,

What do you see in the absence of light?

A mask, a smile, a mirrored face…

But tell me—what hides in your empty space? ♫ ❞

She spilled into view, folding out from the ceiling like a wrong reflection. Her silhouette was human, but too still, too soft at the edges, like a painting bleeding through the canvas. Her eyes shimmered with mourning moons. Her smile was not cruel—but it was not kind.

Selah stood upside down on the ceiling like it was the floor, her shoes leaving no mark, her too-long hair drifting as if underwater. The wings covering her eyes opened to reveal eyes that seemed to stare into nothing.

❝ You’re fun. You’re interesting ♪♪ ~ ❞ she hummed. ❝ You don’t flinch like the others. So let’s play a game, yes? ❞

She tilted her head the up—the wrong way, smile stretching just a little too wide.

❝ Answer right… and I’ll gift you a dream that doesn’t lie. ❞

She leaned in, smile reminiscent of a crescent moon.

❝ But if you’re wrong… ❞

She laughed—a sound that sounded.. wrong.

❝ Now then—ready? ❞

She leaned down (or was it up?), hands folded politely.
