Anger = Skill improvement?

So growing up, playing video games, everyone rages once in a while when something doesn’t go their way. But I was thinking about something recently, and it comes out to, does raging at a video game and having that “fire” inside of you make you possibly better at the video game, or does it just tilt you and make you worse? Whenever I rage at a video game (I mostly play LoL and CS:GO), I get that “fire” inside of me that makes me want to do better and obviously try my hardest to beat the other team. Now, there have been plenty of times where I stayed calm and won the game that I was losing, and there are also times where I got mad and won the game that was losing. But it just seems like whenever I rage, it helps me get more into the game, like it’s personal or something. So that makes me try even harder and want to win even more. I haven’t done any research on this, I kinda just wanted to put this in here to see what others say about it. But do you think that for yourself, Anger = Skill improvement?
