☾ ° › HOLIDAYS ARE NECESSARY CELEBRATIONS

It is a challenge to be on friendly terms with all of the world leaders. One can try their hardest and still fail --- the proudest people in the world are very difficult to deal with. The president of the United States is an ambitious woman, and has invited the royals and alike to enjoy the holidays in New York City. She wishes to strengthen the ties with other politicians --- with the help of good old American hospitality. The event is not official state business, it’s a private event, meant to be enjoyed in a relaxed state of mind. At least that’s what the invitation says.

☾ ° › OF HUMAN COLLECTIVENESS

Two weeks in the luxurious Plaza Hotel with no expenses spared. The two weeks will be filled activities ranging from skating to tourist tours to dinners to museum tours. The goal is to give the royals an unforgettable experience in the big apple. There’s something to do every day ! A five course meal has been planned for the Christmas Eve, and a grand ball has been organized for the Christmas Day. 

☾ ° › IT REMINDS US WE’RE A PART OF A SOCIETY

Event: The Holiday break Date: 16th --- 30th of December, 2019 Residence: Plaza Hotel, New York City

This event will commence on the 16th of December and ends on the 3rd of January. The ic event last for two weeks and ends on the eve of New Year’s Eve ! 

The ooc holiday break starts on the 20th though, so no need to panic !

This is going to be a semi-interactive event, so remember to check the main for the latest details every now and then !

17th --- ice skating at the rockefeller center

18th --- gingerbread house building cooking class

19th --- sightseeing cruise

20th --- christmas tree decorating ( parker’s unofficial frat party )

21st --- the nutcracker by new york city ballet

22nd --- a private shopping event at bergdorf goodman

23rd --- a broadway show:

wicked, frozen, hamilton, moulin rouge, the book of mormon, west side story will be playing

24th --- christmas eve dinner

a five course meal at the plaza, the dress code is smart casual.

25th --- christmas day ball 

live music & an open bar --- what else can you ask for ? the dress code is black tie.

26th --- a private tour at MoMA

27th --- wine tasting ( or an unofficial pub crawl for the younger generation )

28th --- der rosenkavalier at the metropolitan opera

29th --- a sightseeing bus tour

all activities are optional, it’s up to your character whether they participate or not !  you can pick whichever activity to write about, the ooc and ic times don’t need to match ! HOWEVER the ball is an exception, the ball will start OOC on the 20th ! you can continue all holiday break related threads until the 3rd of january which is when our NYE event will commence.
