Some friendship dynamics
I don’t see enough platonic relationship dynamics, so here are some suggestions. Some of them are inspired by real life experiences and some are just made up. Friendship dynamics can be complicated or even absurd, and I really wish there were more stories about them.
Bully who realizes their shitty behavior and insecurities and tries to be a better person + bullied one who is actually apathetic towards everything but starts gradually caring about ex-bully (after a change in their behavior) and other things in life
Two mentally insane individuals who play GTA in real life (bonus if they are completely normal people separated)
Roommates who are so used to each other they start bickering like an old couple. They know each other’s favorite tea and Netflix series.
Shy artist who is insecure about their art and doesn’t want to show it + Aggressive supporter who will do everything to get them the attention they deserve
The Breadmakers - they earn cash in the most unexpected ways together, either gambling in the local Burger King, reselling broken Vinyls, or organizing a pyramid scheme with their friends grandmothers.
Rivals who are rivals because of opposing ideas about the world, who at first hate each other, but eventually change each others perspective
Two individuals tired of everybody's shit who would rather take a walk in the park in silence
Two people who discover their sexuality together (relationships like these are important IMO. They don’t have to be romantic or sexual - for example one might realize they are on the ace spectrum, while the other realizes they prefer with the other gender. They would stay very close friends even if they didn’t not work as a couple.)
Person who says “deez nuts” every 5 minutes + person who laughs every single time
Two of the smartest people in the room who start chanting “ooga booga” when they see each other
Person who will randomly start explaining random things about their favorite artist, will force everyone to listen to their songs, and who will provide in-depth analysis every one of their songs + person who says “Yeah, I mean, the songs are good, I think.”
