i think it would be an interesting concept if wounds that take a canon life never go away, even after respawning.

like it just doesn't have to power to kill you anymore. It would be common to see people actively bleeding out. Going up to c!tommy and see three active fatal wounds - a sluggishly bleeding neck, a blood-soaked spot right where the heart is, and a bloody gash in his head.

Even if they don't keep bleeding, imagine just having an open piece of internal organs, forever vulnerable to the elements.

And for more destructive deaths, such as c!tubbo's festival death, it would limit itself to still having most of the body intact, but still bleeding profusely from the parts that were formerly blown into bits.

imagine the trauma that would come from such a stark reminder of death.

imagine how impossible it would be to hide. to live.
