Dom! Yan professor x himbo reader imagines~! ໒꒰ྀི˶˙Ⱉ˙˶꒱ྀིა
Just imagining your biology professor being a total hard ass, rude and unkind to every student he’s ever had and giving out the most excessive amounts of homework daily, as soon as he met you something sinister had awoken inside him. The way you’d smile at him all stupid wearing shorts that showed to much and jogging pants that let him see the side profile of your cock during the first day of meeting you had this man losing it.
Just imagining you staying back after your college classes, you being freshly twenty three and scraping by if not failing every class you took, only making it to college on a sports scholarship with you staring and blinking at your professor all class. Yandere professor, just imagining him watching you from the corner of his eye the whole class, his hands moving on auto pilot only able to think about you and how you blink dumbly at him while he teaches making him speak up “is something wrong Mr L/n?”
Just imagining you getting stuck after class in tutoring sessions all hours of the day because he claims “I’m just trying to help you achieve better [name]” he’d utter those words so sincerely it would keep you oblivious while he stares at your ass and your pecs, bitting his lips when you lean in your chair showing him the perfect peak of your body having this man insane having to excuse himself for a moment during your sessions while he goes and “fixes” the situation between his legs.
Just imagining Yandere professor who rubs up against you grabbing and touching your body all over at any chance he gets with close proximity, slowly over time building trust off of his age and status, him pushing mid forties and freshly divorced. Just imagining him bringing up chats about his golden retriever just to twist your oblivious trust into something else, making you feel special whilst he gives you all the attention you could ever dream of with the intent of getting you all to himself wanting to possess and keep you like a boy toy.
Just imagining Yandere professor who asks you for “favors” claiming he’d make sure you passed all your classes, that you’d never have to worry about losing your scholar ship. He’d have your face in his crotch with your mouth wide open engulfing his cock all flushed in the face with teary eyes holding his thighs. Oh how he almost felt sorry for those poor girls that drooled after you during your games….almost, but having your mouth stuffed full of cock asking “am I doin good E’nough f’you sherr” while you soured your words with spit making slurping sounds just trying to please a good grade out of him.
Just imagining Yandere professor who does random dorm checkups on you, making you stay over at his apartment the nights your frat bros throw parties, not standing for the thought of some sorority girl getting her manicured hands on you, you were His and he’d fuck you so good that you knew it. Two glasses of wine later sitting in his apartment with your hand gripping the counters in shambles “s-ir!” All you can repeat over and over is his name speaking it like a prayer to your messiah feeling a drunken man going at it fucking you so hard the sounds start buzzing together and the over head light in his kitchen blurs under your pupils.
Just imagining Yandere professor who had your legs spread wide open sitting leaned back on his desk eating your ass out like a starving man. Gripping your skin and kissing your pucker, practically making out with your rim and letting you ramble on cluelessly about your plays and strategies, whining about how “the coach is placing me as Qb this year!” While you grip the back of your professors head looking down at him just blinking and getting comfy when you see him having no intentions of letting you go since him being able to work your body and play with you however he liked was part of the “conditions”
Just imagining your grades going from a fifties and forties across the boards to becoming a straight A+ student having all of your friends asking how you managed to swindle that, having your fiends wanting to know your secret while one of them asks “all those time you’ve been ditching, you must be going off to secretly study huh!” Your closest buddy just laughs and nudges you during practice unable to tell him that you’ve been whoring yourself out to the most hated teacher on campus.

Sweetheart
Summary: Tyler Owens x Fe!Reader -> Times when you told Tyler to not call you 'Sweetheart' and the one time you did.
Disclaimer: This had been a w-i-p over the last couple of days so if it feels patchy, I apologise. Best friends to lovers, mutual pining, completely oblivious and scared idiots. Two almost kisses, one actual kiss, long love confession, little angst, lots of fluff, one bed trope, fake dating (sorta), lots of uses of the nickname 'Sweetheart', getting caught in a tornado, cowboy romance books mentioned. Not Proof Read.
You could remember the first time you told Tyler to stop calling you ‘Sweetheart’.
It had been when he had been fixing his truck outside the fifth motel of the season.
You’d both been friends for years. Ever since college. In fact, you were the first friend he made there. You’d been sitting under a tree since every bench either had a couple or a massive group of friends at each one. That was when he joined you.
“Hey, do you mind if I sit here? It looks like most places are taken.”
Moving your bag from the spare patch, you let him sit down. Then you noticed his text book.
You both got to talking and you found out your classes shared a building, and with a similar timetable for classes and a shared fear of student society nights, you both stuck together.
Tyler took you to a couple of rodeos, showing you round and explaining everything that went on behind the scenes. Which was also when you found out he was an ex-bull rider.
You showed him around campus and the best place to study, and when neither of you were working, you’d show him around your home town.
And the rest was history.
You’d both been together ever since.
However, it wasn’t until after you both experienced an EF-4 whilst ‘off duty’ that you found something out about yourself.
You were in love with Tyler.
Of course, you’d always loved him as a friend. He was your best-friend and had been for years. Except, until that moment, you didn’t realise how deeply. And you couldn’t remember when it had happened. Had it been right away and you just confused it with friendship love? Or was it long after you made friends with him?
You had a thousand and one questions about it, but something you didn’t question was how Tyler felt about you. Of course, he loved you, too. You were one of his best friends. But that was how he loved you. As a friend.
And you were happy with that. More so considering letting your new fact be known out-loud might not only cost you your job but also your long time friendship with someone who you considered family.
Except, as time went on, you picked up on more and more things. Like how you always leaned into him, or found yourself by his side at most times of the day. Or like how he threw his arm around you when everyone sat around the campfire, or how you’d fall asleep beside him only to wake up in your bed the next morning.
Or like how he’d always called you ‘Sweetheart’. Like he just did, when he asked you to hand him the socket wrench.
You know, you gotta stop calling me that. People are gonna think we’re together.”
Tyler took the wrench from you with a small chuckle. “But I always call you that.”
“That’s my point. What if someone wants to chat you up but they think you’re with me?”
“But I am with you.” Tyler told you.
You scoffed and kicked the sole of his boot lightly. “I’m being serious. What if you miss out on meeting your wife? The mother of your children because she thinks you’re with me?”
From under his truck, Tyler rolled out. “Is everything okay?”
“Everything’s fine. Why?”
Everything wasn’t fine, but the less he knew about it the better.
“You’ve never had a problem with me calling you Sweetheart before.”
You shrugged, trying your best to remain casual about it. “I was just thinking about it, s’all.”
Tyler hummed in confusion before disappearing back beneath his truck. “Okay, I’ll try not to call you Sweetheart in public anymore.”
Though he couldn’t see, you gave a small nod to thank him. You didn’t want to let him know that it was killing you asking that of him. You loved when he called you different nicknames, because that was him. If nothing else was right in the world, you knew he was.
But the more and more you became aware of who you were when you were with him, the more you started to think about how it would start to affect him, even if he didn’t realise it.
Except, for as much as he tried, he still slipped up every now and again.
But the second time you told him to stop calling you that, he’d fully done it with intent.
Another week, another motel. Only, this time there weren’t enough rooms to go around, with the rodeo in town. So, whilst you stood and listened to everyone fight over who had to share, you searched for some sticks before shoving them into the middle of the group circle.
“Lily, here. Whoever pulls the short straw shares. I need the bathroom.”
So, you disappeared.
However, when you came back, you found most of your family disappearing into their own rooms whilst Tyler was still standing inside of the motel office.
“I think he’s gonna need your help.” Lily told you as she grabbed her bag from her car.
A little confused, you followed her advice and headed for the office. Only when you opened the door…
“Ty, Lily said-”
“Sweetheart! There you are. Thought you’d gotten lost.” You were about to correct him and tell him to stop calling you when suddenly, you found yourself being dragged to his side. “Molly, this is my girlfriend.”
“She’s not your wife?”
Tyler seemed to panic for a moment.
What the hell was going on?
“Is everything-”
Tyler looked at you, but something in his eyes begged you not to ask.
“Well, no. Not exactly.”
“Well,” the owner drawled. “How long have you two been together?”
“Just a little over ten years.”
She almost exploded. “Ten years?! And you still haven’t put a ring on it yet? Oh, honey, what are you two doing?”
Tyler chuckled a little all the while your body became fully aware of his arm around your waist and his hand at your hip. “See, that’s the thing. We wanted to get married but-”
“Your parents don’t approve?”
You practically gave yourself whiplash for how quickly you turned to look at her, an offended look on your face. Okay, maybe you didn’t look your best but you’d all been on the road for six hours and you hadn’t slept the night before. And it wasn’t your fault Tyler looked good at any time of the day.
Tyler, a little shocked himself, shook his head.
“Her parents don’t approve?”
“Well,” Tyler seemed to be making it up as he went along. “Her parents don’t believe in marriage.”
You came back to earth. Lying, right.
You nodded your head. “I’d love to get married but I kinda want my folks to be there. But, we’re getting around them, aren’t we, honey?”
You tried your best to ignore how easily the pet name rolled off your tongue for Tyler.
Tyler smiled and you could have sworn he blushed. “That’s right.”
The owner looked between you both. “Well, I suppose…that’s okay. Here’s your key. I hope you two have a nice stay.”
“We will, thank you.”
Taking the key, Tyler took hold of your hand before opening the door for you and leading you outside. Once more, your hand was in his all the way towards the car, only having him let go when he climbed into the bed of his truck to grab his luggage and your own.
“Do you…” You looked to see if the owner was still watching. She wasn’t. “Do you wanna tell me what just happened?”
“She thinks we’re together.”
“That’s my point.” You told him. “Why?”
He hopped down from his truck. “Boone took the short straw and since you were in the bathroom, the others called their own rooms. But, since he’s eaten nothing but spicy tacos for the last three days, I offered to share with you.”
“What a gentleman.”
Tyler smiled. “You’re welcome.”
“That still doesn’t explain why she thinks we’re together.”
“Hey,” Tyler held his hands up. “I was gonna correct her but then she started talking about how nobody who wasn’t wed shouldn’t share a room. So, when you walked in, I just rolled with it. The next motel is an hour away, but the rodeo in town is probably booked up.”
And everyone was tired. Dragging everyone back on the road would just feel illegal.
So, taking your bag from him, you followed him up to your shared room. With just one bed.
Considering the owner didn’t like unmarried couples sharing a room, it shouldn’t have been as much of a shock as it was.
“Want me to take the floor? You already offered to share, seems fair.”
Tyler shook his head. “That bed could fit me, you, and probably a herd of cattle.”
You rolled your eyes before walking inside and dumping your bag on the small bench by the window.
“We can share.”
Remember; normal.
You and Tyler had shared a bed a hundred times before. This was no different. Other than your self-aware feelings for him and the fact that you’d been trying to complete less of them ever since.
“Okay.”
And like normal, you both took your registered sides. Tyler by the door, you by the window.
Barely an hour later, both yourself and Tyler were lying in bed staring at the ceiling.
“How many people do you think have lied about being married just to get a room here?”
You shrugged. “Considering there are like, a thousand romance books out there with the main couples doing that exact thing…I guess…a lot.”
Tyler turned to you with a shocked smile on his face.
“What?”
“You read romance books?”
You furrowed your brows a little. If you had been talking to anyone else, or talking to Tyler before you found yourself harbouring such a big secret from not only him but also yourself, you would have owned it.
But this was a man you had secretly been in love with for god only knows how long.
“I read other stuff, too.” You managed to stutter out.
“I’ve never once seen you read a book that isn’t a textbook.”
“And? Plenty of people read romance. That’s why it’s a genre.”
“So, what else happens in these romances of yours?”
“They’re not my romances.” You clarified. But nothing could wipe that shit-eating grin from his face.
“Are they all as cheesy as they used to be?”
You found yourself stumped at that question. “Used to be? Wait, you’ve read a romance book?”
Tyler nodded. “Just after I got stomped on by my second bull, I was waiting with the medic. I got bored and she gave me a book to read.”
“And how was it?”
“Cheesy,” Tyler said. “But the cover did have a half naked man on the cover. The doc tried to pass it off as her friends, but since she went bright red in the face, I knew it was her. So, what are yours?”
Then he started listing off different characters, revelling in the embarrassment it was causing you to admit it to him.
“A hot firefighter who saves kittens from trees? A…18th century Duke from London, England who just so happens to ‘hate’ his sister’s best friend? That was what the Doc’s book was. Oh my god, is it a Prince in disguise who falls in love with the local baker and they win a pie contest together?”
“You’re an asshole.” You told him before turning over.
“Oh, come on.” Tyler laughed. “Just tell me. If you don’t, I can always ask Boone to go through your goodreads. Maybe I want to buy you one for your birthday, but I don’t know which one you’ve already-”
“It’s cowboys.” You felt like you were shouting.
“What?” You could already hear the grin on his face, which made you only try and repress yours. But he heard it anyway.
“It’s cowboys. Bull riders, ranch owners, cowboys. Those are the romances I, mainly, read.”
You managed to build up enough courage to turn onto your back, only to look over and see Tyler’s smile still on his face.
“Go on, go ahead. Laugh at it.”
“Are any of them Tornado Wranglers?”
With a laugh behind your voice, you threw a pillow at his head. “Shut up and go to sleep.”
From behind you, you heard him laugh as he fixed his pillow. “Whatever you say, Sweetheart.”
You turned the lamp off. “Go to sleep.”
He was still smiling as he turned his own off. “Night, Sweetheart.”
By the time you woke up in the morning, you were scrambling to find out where you were.
In your head, you’d been in bed with Tyler. You’d all been sitting around the campfire, listening to Tyler finally agree to tell an actual spooky story. Of course, after scaring the crap out of you, Dexter told a nicer one which…you fell asleep to. Only, you’d woken to Tyler being in your bed. He’d carried you to bed. Again. But, just as you were laying in his arm, you felt the ground beneath you begin to shake before a cold draft came up the back of your neck.
By the time you turned to look at the window, you saw…
Flying cows.
Tuning back around, everything went from colourful to dim. Almost black and white. You could just about make Tyler out beneath the covers but each time you took a step, you found yourself unable to move.
But when you finally did move, a pair of arms reached for you and held you back to the window.
You woke up with a start, trying to figure out where you were.
You were in bed.
With a pair of arms around you.
You sat up.
You were in bed.
In a motel.
With Tyler.
You were in bed with Tyler.
For the second time in less than twenty four hours, you nearly gave yourself whiplash. The window was open a little. Tyler must have woken up in the night and opened it. But there were no flying cows. You made a mental note to not watch The Wizard of Oz, and have it be the last thing you watch, before bed.
Looking down at a sleeping Tyler, you noticed where his arms were around you. Around your back, and since you’d moved to sit up quickly, across your thighs with his hand closer to your hip.
Trying your best, you tried to ignore how attractive he looked even when he was asleep. You’d seen the same image many a hundred times in the last ten years, and yet it never got old. Of course, at the time you weren’t trying to bury feelings.
Slowly, you tried to peel yourself from him only to have him tighten his hold on you and pull you back towards him a little.
“S’everything okay, Sweetheart?”
Sweetheart. Morning voice. Looking like that.
“Every…” You swallowed and forced yourself to look away before he caught the heat on your cheeks. “Everything…everything’s fine.”
Having most of his face buried into his pillow, he opened up one eye and looked at you. “You’re looking a little flushed there, Sweetheart.”
The nickname rolled so easily off his tongue, you knew he didn’t notice how casually he used it with you.
If you weren’t awake before, you were when he spoke.
Almost throwing yourself from him, you scooted out of bed and stood up. “I’m fine. Promise. I’m gonna get some coffee.” It almost sounded like a question as you looked around for your jeans.
From behind you, you heard him shuffle around the bedsheets. When you looked back, you almost melted at the sight. Lay there in bed, watching you with that smile on his face that you could never quite pin a meaning to. One arm behind his head, the other out of the covers and by his side, white tee on, his pj pants that you’d gotten him almost seven christmases ago just visible from the flipped corner of the bed.
“Yeah. Coffee. You want one?”
“You sure you’re okay? You never usually have this much energy in the morning.” Tyler said. “Sure you don’t wanna wait. Don’t think the diner’s even open.”
“That’s okay.” You grabbed a random shirt from the chair by the small dining table.
Again, that smile was on Tyler’s face.
“I’ll be back soon.”
From their own rooms, the others watched as you left your shared room with Tyler, dressed in his shirt, looking like you’d just rolled out of bed.
Lily: Do you think something finally happened?
Dex: If something did, I don’t think she’d look so freaked.
Dani: Or be leaving their bed so early in the morning…
By the time Tyler had actually gotten out of bed, showered and had changed, you still weren’t back from your freaked coffee run.
“Hey, Boone!”
“Yeah, dude?”
“You seen Y/n?”
Boone shook his head. “No. Why?”
Tyler looked…sad. And confused. “Nothing. No reason.”
But rather than wait around, he went and looked for you. And it wasn’t long before he found you. Sat inside a mostly empty cafe-diner, you were waiting on another two coffee’s to go.
“Hey.”
Tyler could have sworn you’d jumped out of your skin.
“Oh, hey.”
“Was starting to get worried. Need some help.”
You looked at the two coffee holders. “Uh, sure.”
Tyler watched you. You couldn’t look him in the eye. And you still looked flushed. He was starting to get worried. For years, you’d both been attached at the hip. But in the last six months, you’d asked him to stop calling you ‘Sweetheart’, had stopped leaning into him or even standing by his side when in a group. You’d stopped fighting Boone for riding shotgun with him. You’d stopped falling asleep on his shoulder or even sitting beside him at night. And he was pretty sure if the owner of the motel didn’t make a point of the married couple sharing a room, you would have taken the flatbed of his truck over sharing a room with him.
“Are we okay?”
That got you to look him in the eye. “What?”
“I just mean…Are you sure you’re okay? In all the years I’ve known you, you’ve never even been awake before a diner has opened unless you’ve had to be.”
You nodded and looked back at the drinks. “I just needed coffee, that’s all.”
“But if something was going on, you would tell me, right?”
You forced yourself to look at him, hoping he wouldn’t see through your lie. “Of course.”
Tyler nodded, but something in his gut told him you weren't telling him the full truth.
Either way, he kept his eye on you for the rest of the day. And the days that followed.
You’d always go to bed earlier than everyone else, or much later. He’d fall asleep watching you read over data and old textbooks but would wake up and catch a glimpse of you curled up either on the bench by the window or on the bed beside him reading a book he could only guess was a ‘Cowboy Romance’ considering a cowboy hat was just one of the small details designed into the cover.
He’d smile and close his eyes again, listening to you turn the pages every now and again, gasp quietly or let out a soft laugh every now and again.
Only, when the morning came round, if he woke up before you, he’d close his eyes, still holding you close because he knew the moment you woke up, you’d stay still for a moment but if he moved, you’d shoot right out of bed.
It was getting harder and harder each day to pretend you didnt worry him. And it was getting even harder to ignore the feeling in his chest he got each time he looked at you, or heard your voice or even thought about you.
But all of that finally came to a head a few days after rolling into town when a tornado hit.
All the data had shown no tornado was meant to come into town and what with the rodeo on, everyone headed down to it. Walking down there, Tyler could remember when he first brought you to one of the circuits he used to run on. He’d loved to have you there. To have you know of his life before he met you, because in a way, it put you there. Like, even if you hadn’t met til college, you had a place in all aspects of his life.
And for the first time in months, you met his eye and smiled. Like you used to. Watching the bull riders, and the cowboys and him asking you if you remembered when you and him first attended a rodeo together.
But just as he looked back at you, your gaze matched his for a second too long and…you looked away. Flushed, embarrassed, then…annoyed.
Not at him. He knew that look off by heart.
You were annoyed at yourself.
But why?
Forcing himself to look back at the rodeo, he tried his best to not think too deeply into why you were annoyed with yourself. But it still worried him.
But then something else worried him.
Everyone’s alert on their phones.
“We weren’t picking up cells this way.”
One look shared between both yourself and Tyler let the other know what to do. People had to get to shelter there and then. And for the next fifteen minutes, everyone started running, staring up their engines to drive away or running to find shelter.
You and the rest of the team helped who you could before finding shelter for yourselves.
“Down here!”
Tyler pulled you closer and followed you down the steps inside the cramped underground shelter before you helped him shut the doors. Bolting it shut before the Tornado could whip them open again, you and him (like everyone else) huddled to the floor.
With his arm across your back, you turned into him, gripping onto his shirt for dear life. And despite the rattling of the doors, people’s nervous screams and the battered weather outside, you eventually only heard one thing.
“It’s okay. We’re okay.”
Tyler’s voice in your ear provided soothing words that eventually started to slow your heartbeat. He pressed a kiss into your hair, his other hand coming around your front, before holding onto your hand that was gripping onto his shirt.
“We’re okay. I promise. Just breathe, Sweetheart. Breathe with me.”
And you did.
You didn’t know when the tornado had passed or when everyone felt like they could breathe again. But you did know you’d just fallen so deeply in love with Tyler at the thought of losing him, even if he’d been wrapped around you the entire time, that you were almost paralysed in those moments.
Slowly, you looked back up and directly at him. Any closer and you both might have kissed. Tyler’s eyes were searching your face just as yours were searching his. He was okay. He wasn’t hurt. No scars. No bruises.
Instinctively, he let his hand from round your back come to your face, pushing the hair from it all the while letting his finger trace your cheekbone and your cheek.
If he didn’t fear losing you forever, he would have kissed you.
“I love you,” he said in his head.
“Tyler…”
He just nodded. “We’re okay.”
Leaning forward, you hugged him and he hugged you back.
It was slow getting back to the motel. It wasn’t until early hours. You took turns getting cleaned up and for the first time in a long time, you didn’t scoot to the end of the bed only to make your way over to him in your sleep.
As he climbed into bed, you turned towards him.
“Come here.”
That night, you fell asleep in his embrace, listening to his heartbeat inside of his chest. Feeling his lips press a kiss to your temple twice before he locked you inside his hold, warming your entire body.
And when a lighter morning rolled in, Tyler woke to his name being quietly called.
You were having a nightmare.
Holding you closer to his chest, he stroked the back of your head with one of his hands before his other hand took hold of yours. He pressed a kiss into your palm before pressing a similar one to your temple.
“Shhh, it’s okay. You’re okay. I’m here, Sweetheart. I’m right here.”
You calmed after that. But you woke up not long after. However, before you could scoot away from him and launch yourself out of bed before your body was ready for it, he told you something.
“You were calling out for me. You were having a nightmare.”
Going off your previous track record, you were about to lie. Tell him you weren’t or that you weren’t even having a nightmare. That you’d been arguing with him or you’d been talking to him and the other Wranglers.
But you didn’t.
You told him the truth.
“You were hurt.”
Tyler was a little taken aback.
“You were hurt and I needed you to be okay.”
Tyler didn’t know what to do. He didn’t know if your nightmare had been frequent or if it was just a fluke after everything that had happened in the last twenty four hours.
So all he could do was say…
“Sweetheart.”
His voice soft, his touch even softer against your skin and yet secure in all the same aspects, he pulled you closer to him as he pressed a kiss to your head.
“I’m okay. I promise I’m okay. I’m right here.”
He kissed your hand. “I’m right here.”
All you could do was just…look at him.
The man you’d been best friends with for as long as you could remember, the man who’d shown and invited you into parts of his life, the man who had invited you to be apart for the rest of it, the man who you’d spent almost every single day with ever since, the man who you’d been and only fallen deeper in love with each day…was right by your side.
He was right in front of you.
He wasn’t a dream.
He wasn’t a nightmare.
There were no flying cows, there were no more tornadoes (for now at least), there were no elements of anything being fake.
And the longer you looked at him, the more you realised…
You would always be in love with him.
And there was nothing you could do about it.
It wouldn't matter how much you avoided him, or pushed yourself or even pushed him to find someone. You would always love him.
With his thumb caressing your cheek, Tyler watched you.
“God, you’re beautiful.”
He hadn’t meant to say it outloud. But he was glad he did.
Your other hand came to his chest…but you didn’t push him away. And you didn’t push yourself away, either.
“Tyler…”
All of a sudden, it was like the only thing either of you could hear was your heartbeats. Blood pumping faster and faster and you got closer and closer, if that was even possible.
Finally, Tyler made a decision.
Cupping your face, he moved until you were almost under him, placing the hand he kissed over his heart.
Suddenly, he was nervous.
He swallowed, gazing at you.
“C…Can I…” He swallowed again.
Except, just as he went to ask, and you would have replied, a booming knock came to the door making both of you jump out of your skin.
Neither you or Tyler moved, but when it came a second time, you looked at each other quickly before bolting out of bed. You didn’t know what to do. Your mind was still trying to process the last ten minutes.
Whilst you stood on your side of the bed, Tyler took a final look back at you. And when he opened the door, Boone thought Tyler looked like he was guilty of sin.
Boone had known Tyler long enough to know that look. Anybody who didn’t know him, well, they wouldn’t have noticed. But he did.
“Boone, man. We were asleep.”
“Shoot. Sorry, dude.” Boone apologised. “Well, we were all gonna get some food before we hit the road to help. Want something?”
“Where’s your phone?”
“Dude! We tried. Tried Y/n, too. I’ve got a charger if you need one.”
Tyler sighed. Right. Dead phone.
“No, that’s good. We’ll just…get us the usual?”
“And coffee!” You heard yourself add.
Tyler smiled at the sound of your voice. “And coffee. Wait, here.”
Handing Boone a twenty dollar bill, he thanked him before shutting the door.
“He’s gonna give someone a heart attack one day.” You said as Tyler finally shut the door.
Tyler scratched the back of his head with a nervous chuckle. “Almost gave me one.”
Then the silence hit.
“Well, I, uh…we better….bathroom. I’m just gonna…yep.”
In his heart, Tyler was elated at the thought of what almost happened. But in his gut, it was like a punch to his soul.
You couldn’t even meet his eye when you spoke and ran towards the bathroom. And when you left and he entered, it had never been more awkward between you both.
He could only hope he hadn’t lost you.
He loved you.
He was in love with you.
But he didn’t want that to be the reason he lost you.
For the rest of the day, he only felt worse.
And so did you.
You’d almost kissed him. Then Boone had knocked on. And suddenly him being the only other person in the room made you feel like the walls were closing in. No matter how much you wanted to go back to the bed and finish what had almost started…something inside you forced you away from it.
Being on the verge of telling your best friend who you’d been in love with for years was suddenly a much higher cliff than you’d originally thought.
Due to the wreckage of the tornado, you and the rest of the crew spent the day helping people, giving them food and water, making sure they were okay.
However, just a little after two, you looked around for him. And, like usual, you found him instantly.
By his truck, he was loading a toolbox back into the flatbed. And he turned. He’d seen you.
He’d been looking over at you all day. And for the first time, you met his gaze.
He would spend the rest of his life loving you. There wasn’t a single doubt in his mind or in his heart about that. And there never would be.
He could only hope that what had almost happened that morning wouldn’t make you hate him.
After a moment, you heard your name being called and you forced yourself to look away from Tyler.
“I love you,” you told him, in your head.
“I love you,” he told you, in his head.
Hours passed and every five minutes, Tyler’s gaze would find yours again before being forced away.
When he wasn’t looking at you, he was thinking about you. Thinking about the tornado, thinking about the rodeo, thinking about the motel room. And watching you from across the wreckage, he made a decision.
He could only hope it was the right one.
And getting back to the motel couldn’t come quick enough.
By the time everyone did get back, it was long after the sun had gone down. And entering your motel room, Tyler tried to get you to talk to him.
“We need some ice. I’ll go and get some.”
“Y/n.”
“I’ll be back in five minutes. Promise.”
Only, you weren’t. And when Tyler heard a crash, he practically ran out of his room and down the stairs.
“Y/n?”
Looking around, he saw you stood at the end of the building scooping ice into the bucket.
“You okay?”
You looked up. “Yeah, why?”
Tyler looked around. “I thought I heard something.”
You were confused. “I didn’t hear anything.”
But as the ice stopped, you both heard it. Trash cans.
“This way.”
“Tyler-”
Grabbing your hand, he pulled you round the corner. Neither of you were cast in the light from the motel but rather hid in the darkness beside it. You looked behind you and around the wall whilst Tyler stood in front of you.
“What was that?”
“I don’t know.”
It happened again and then…
Laughing.
You physically relaxed and turned back to Tyler with a relieved smile.
“It’s just people coming back from the bar. We’re safe.”
Only then did you realise how closely you stood together, or how you could feel his weight slowly pressing against you. Or maybe you were pulling him forward.
Softly, you pressed yourself into the wall as Tyler started towering over you, his hands slowly grazing over your hips as he looked at you.
It was like what had happened that morning only…more.
Slowly, your breath tangled with his, your heartbeat steadily rising as one of his hands ran up your body and pushed your hair from your face.
“Tyler…”
“We should get back inside. Before you get cold.”
You were anything but that, in the moment.
And when you both got back inside your room, having Tyler carefully take the ice bucket from you and place it on the table, only made you feel hotter.
“We need to talk about this morning.”
“Tyler…”
“Sweetheart, I mean it.”
“Didn’t I tell you to stop calling me that? There’s nothing to talk about.”
“We almost kissed.”
You closed the bathroom door in his face before reaching for your toothbrush and paste. Only, you forgot to lock it.
Opening it back up, Tyler stood by the door, one hand on his hip, the other on the handle.
“Y/n, will you please listen to me?”
“Tyler, please. Please, just…just stop. Before either of us say something we can’t take back.”
He stood tall. “What if I don’t wanna take it back? What if I want to say it out loud so we can both finally be finished with this…this…this weird awkward…thing between us. In ten years never once has it been awkward.”
You sighed, dropping your toothbrush under the tap before rinsing out your mouth. “Well, whatever it is, you can say it to an empty room.”
Pushing past him, you grabbed your jacket and headed for the door. You weren’t going to stick around to hear him tell you your friendship with him was over. That your worst fear was about to become your reality.
Only, as you reached for the handle and opened up the door, the next three words that came from Tyler’s mouth, as he stood, still in the opening of the bathroom, stopped you right in your tracks.
“I love you.”
He’d told you he loved you a thousand times over the years, but it had always been quickly and in the same way and same tone as he told anybody else who he loved. But those three words. They were different.
They meant something entirely different.
You could hear him slowly taking a few steps forward.
“I love you, Y/n. I’m in love with you.”
You physically couldn’t move. Everything inside of you wanted to do…something. Kiss him, tell him the same, tell him he was mistaken, that he didn’t love you, tell him to stop, tell him to keep going.
“And I think…” He took a breath. Not of fear, not of worry, but of relief. Like finally saying these words out loud was a weight off his chest. “I think you’re in love with me, too.”
You didn’t know what to say, so you just waited.
“Now, you can run out of here. You can leave, if you want. But know that I want you to stay. I want to talk about this. All day, the only thing I’ve been able to think about is you. About the rodeo, about the other morning. About all the other times I’ve wanted to kiss you and to have you be the one I share a room with. Not because we’ve drawn straws but because you would want it, too. Again, if you want to leave, you can. The door’s open. But I’m hoping you’ll stay.”
Tyler couldn’t comprehend what was going on inside your head as he watched you. He could have swore he saw your body move a little. Maybe he was wrong. Maybe you were going to leave after all. Maybe all of it was just in his head.
But then you let go of the handle.
The door shut in front of you and suddenly the white noise from outside floated away. You’d made your choice. But you were still scared.
“I…I don’t know what to do from here.”
“That’s okay.” Tyler moved closer to you until he was directly behind you. Carefully, he took your jacket from you and you let go of it willingly, allowing him to place it on the bed behind him. “We can figure it out together.”
Still behind you, Tyler’s hands lay gently by your sides. “Is this okay?”
“Yes.”
He took another step closer. You could already feel the heat from his body behind you, warming you from the cold draft that had wafted through when you’d opened the door.
“I’ve loved you since before I can remember. But I know the day I met you, you were gonna be in my life forever.”
Feeling brave, you turned in his arms to look at him. For a moment, he looked scared. Like it would be the last time you’d ever look at him and he’d never see you again. Scared that you’d leave.
But as your gaze landed on his, that smile came back.
“What?”
Still with that smile, he told you. “You look like you love me.”
“How can you tell?”
“Because you get this look in your eyes. Like something I’ve never seen before. And it’s new every time. Do you love me?”
You didn’t have to think about your answer, but the courage you had to build to tell him took a moment. “Yes. I-I don’t know when. But I think one day it just…clicked. But I was scared. I still am…scared. Tyler, what if…what if something goes wrong? What if we lose each other forever?”
“That’ll never happen.”
“How? How can you know that?”
“I just…do. It’s like a tornado. Part science; all the chemicals that go into loving someone. Part religion. I don’t have to physically see how something happens, but I like to believe it’s there. Maybe I don’t have all the answers, but I knew I had to listen to what my gut told me.”
“And what did your gut tell you?”
Tyler gave you that smile again. “It told me that; ‘that girl, right there, under that tree. You need to talk to her, because she is going to be the best part of your day for the rest of your life.’”
You felt the heat in your cheeks rise.
“You have always been, and always will be, the best part of my day, Sweetheart. No matter how many tornados, no matter how many sleepless nights on the road or how much data we collect. The best part of my day is talking to you. Is looking over at you and having you look back. The best part of my day has forever been, and always will be, you.”
“So, trust me when I say that,” he continued. “Nothing bad will ever happen to us. Because I don’t plan on letting you go just because of fear. I’m in love with you, Sweetheart. And I want to be in your life, for the rest of your life.”
You smiled, “Say that again. The ‘I’m in love with you,’ part.”
Tyler was a little confused, but he would say it as many times as you wanted.
“I’m in love with you, Sweetheart.”
Watching you blush and try and hide your smile made him realise why you’d asked him to say it again.
“I knew you liked it when I called you that.”
You looked back up at him. “You know, you’re lucky I love you.”
Tyler smiled. “That’s the first time you’re saying that outloud.”
“Does that mean you’re gonna kiss me now? Or are you just gonna keep talking, Cowboy?”
“No, ma’am.”
Pulling you in closer, Tyler finally kissed you.
And it was…
Everything.
Every moment he’d dreamed of finally kissing you, every moment you’d wished he’d do so, every moment you’d both shared, harbouring those feelings, wishing for something more and being too scared to reach for it…
It was a lot to put into a first kiss.
But it came out naturally.
Having waited years, you both had some catching up to do.

hi can I please make an order of crème caramel, berry trifle, mango sorbet and a spicy upside down cake with a side of lemon water served by Max Verstappen please? Sorry it's a bit long tho...
bakery menu
want to submit your own order? then hit up the menu, i'd love to hear your order! and thank you to everyone who submitted orders! i am working through them!!
crème caramel ("oh. you thought you were getting away from me?" ) + berry trifle ("wrong. try again.") + mango sorbet ("you are by far the dumbest thing i've ever fucked. how did they even let you graduate?") + spicy upside down cake ( "let's play a game: don't get caught.") + lemon water (university/college au) served by max verstappen (formula one)!!
cw: smut/pwp, university au, bully!max, mean!max, semi-public sex, library sex, fwb gone horrible, dirty talk/degrading language, obsessive!max, oral sex (max receives), choking/deep throating
"where are you going, schat?" max loomed over you like a heavy cloud as he placed his hands on your hips. he held you like he owned you, and in all fairness... sometimes it felt like he did.
you thought the one time you'd try to have a one night stand that everything would go swimmingly. but you picked the wrong man on campus.
graduate student, about three years your senior. with hands like bear paws and about the same strength as one in his grip. and he held you in the middle of the library.
"you just came in and now you're turning around in leaving? surely you had something to do here today. it was close to eight in the evening, the library was next to dead. you remained silent for a moment before he added, "oh. you thought you were getting away from me? is that it, you thought you could leave before i found you?"
you swallowed and lied, "i forgot something."
he chuckled as he leaned in a little closer, "was it your panties? because i found them in my car yesterday. pink with flowers? they kept me busy all of last night when you were ignoring my texts." he held onto you a little tighter, "it's not polite to ignore me, liefje."
the issue was that you wanted a one night stand with someone outside of your little english department. so you ended up with a geography graduate student... however, after that night, max became your shadow.
"what did you do to my panties, max?"
he let go of you and turned you in his arms. he smiled at you, the kind of smile that most at the school would trip over themselves to see. but you could see something else in those blue eyes, "don't worry, i washed them when i was done." then leaned in to kiss you on the cheek.
you pulled back a little, but couldn't go far as he had you basically trapped against him. you could call for help, but the student librarian at the front desk was more occupied with her phone.
max pulled your attention back to him as he said, "why don't we study together? think of it like a date."
you'd never date someone like max. not even as his thumbs tried to push up your t-shirt a little, you managed to get away. you swallowed, you could run and hide. but, max had more eyes on the school than cameras. someone would catch a glimpse of you somewhere on campus and max would find you.
max verstappen was denied very little in his life. and he wasn't going to start of trend of not getting his way.
"so why were you running away, my love?" he asked as he pressed himself up against you. his strong arms were around you middle as he pressed you to him. he smiled was threatening and you felt a cold chill down your spine.
"i told you. i forgot something." you tried to use the last bit of fight in you. but those eyes of his were all knowing.
"wrong. try again." he said before he went in and kissed you on the cheek, "i remember our first night together. you made me feel like nothing else could. you made me feel alive. i hate when you run away from me." he kissed the corner of your lip softly, "now, why don't we study tonight."
you looked up at him. he was a bit taller than you and for sure stronger. the gaze in his eyes warmed up when you nodded, accepting his offer for studying.
see, you knew what max needed. he wanted to be closer to you, he wanted to feel you all over. he even wanted to take you out on dates and make you the center of his world. he was obsessed with you, and you just needed to see that he loved you. but that meant less struggling.
he led you into the back of the library, the furthest part with two chairs in a desk. there was no one else around for a good while. most had left for the evening. which left you alone with max.
"liefje." he said as he sat on the chair and unzipped his fly, "come here." it was a siren's call before he sank his teeth into you. before he ripped you to shreds and drag you under the waves.
you knew what you had to do, you were thankful that the pants you wore were comfy because you knew that one round, even in a semi-public space, wouldn't be enough for max. you knew another pair of your panties would end up in his car.
he watched you lower to your knees and licked his lips, you looked like a doll to him. he said quietly, "let's play a game: don't get caught." before he ran his hands through your hair.
your face was up against his cock and you shuddered a little bit. the size of it was impressive and it made your mouth water a little. this was how he trapped you. the allure of his heavy cock in your face.
with a small whine he pushed your face further against his cock and you had no choice but to take it in your mouth. but few pleasantries were made when he got the tip up against your throat. you whined a little bit, it was almost a whorish noise as you relaxed against his grasp.
mad max, mean max, whatever you wanted to call him. you felt almost at home on your knees in front of him. he was your hook up gone wrong. horribly wrong.
his voice was a curl in your brain and made you shift a little bit on the carpeted ground, "you are by far the dumbest thing i've ever fucked. how did they even let you graduate?" he knew you had to take an extra semester because you failed a course. in a slight fairness it was max's fault, he wouldn't let you go write your final exam. too busy bruising that cunt of yours well into the morning.
even if you tried to write the exam all your brain cells were gone due to how hard hew as fucking you. even now, with his cock in your throat, you felt a loss in most brain activity. no higher thinking while he was choking you on his cock.
you felt amazing around his cock, there were few words to describe how it all felt. he could feel the flutter in his chest as he rammed his cock up against your throat. and when you made a choking noise, he told you to "shut up." before he kept battering his cock up against the back of your throat.
you looked up at him, your eyes looked so innocent as he pressed his cock into your throat as deep as it would go. he still had a lot to teach you about deep throating, but for now he'd take a small pleasure in your choked noises.
"such a pretty girl." he said, "you look so good on your knees. is this how you were passing all your courses? pretty blouses and dick sucking lips." he chuckled lowly as he gripped onto your head further.
you whimpered a little bit as you held onto his strong thighs as you worked yourself onto his cock. you felt the buzz in your head as you continued to move your head.
"this is how i like you. i don't get why you don't understand that. most would kill for a chance to be in your spot. but you get it so easily." he said in a low, harsh tone.
you whined a little bit and arched your back. you felt your body splashed with heat. you trembled a little bit with a certain want. max verstappen knew how to play you like a fiddle. he knew how to take you apart and put all your pieces back together as he liked them.
"such a good girl for me. i'm glad i got a hold of you before you became a slut. now you can't cum on anyone's dick but mine." he said harshly.
in the back corner of the library you gave him head. your brain felt unfocused as he bullied the tip up against your pretty throat. he wanted to bruise it so you couldn't talk for a few days.
"no need to speak words, liefje. not when your boyfriend could do all the talking for you." he said and the words marked on your brain and made your core soaked.
"max." you tried to say with his cock in your mouth.
"shush." he said.
you looked at him once more before his grip on you started to tighten even more. he pushed his cock up against your throat once more, you knew it would be bruised come morning.
you whined and relaxed yourself enough for him to finish down your throat. he groaned and held onto you as he finished in your mouth. you tasted the saltiness down your throat. and your mind went little a blurry for a moment.
when you got your mouth off his cock, you rested your face on his thigh and looked up at him. max was almost sweet when he brushed the side of your face.
"you should be studying how to make me feel good. stupid little thing already knows enough about english." he pinched your cheeks, "be my bride."
you pouted a little, your lips glossed with spit and pre cum, "no, max."
he sighed before he gripped your hair again, "enough thinking. get on the table. i'm not done with you." max knew you inside and out, no other man on campus could compare to him. he'll teach you eventually, that his love was the only one you needed.

You're not as informed as you think, and age does play a factor.
This is going to ruffle some feathers, but it needs to be said. You're not as informed on the I/P Conflict and the history of the region as you think, and age plays a major factor. Hell, you're not as informed on a lot of topics as you think. I want you to think about what you were doing 5 years ago. Were you still running around on the playground? Were you making dioramas for a science class? Were you in high school worried about being a first year? Were you just starting to pick out colleges or deciding to even go? Did you ever call a teacher by their first name? Now, there is a line that we hear thrown about that people don't fully mature till they're 25. While this is bupkis and misrepresents the research, it is true that the brain does not stop developing till sometime in the mid to late 20s. In fact, the brains of undergraduates age 18-22 and their respective thought patterns more closely resemble high schoolers than they do mid 20s and above. So what does this mean in the course of the I/P conflict? For one thing, this is your first incident. Your first I/P war. Those of us in our 30s and above have seen a good number of them at this point. I even remember when the use of child suicide bombers became a standard method for Hamas and other terrorist groups during the Second Intifada. As such, many of us are used to the manipulation that we see in this particular region. We're used to seeing antisemitism be dismissed and well intentioned people be manipulated. Many of us are just tired because you're going through the same shit we did at your age and we look back and go "oh, we were severely misinformed". Because this is your first, you're super passionate about it, but that passion can be manipulated. Second, you're not as smart or well informed as you think you are. This has to do with the age and maturation thing mentioned above. While 25 is an arbitrary number, there are some milestones that happen by then. By 25 you have had enough life experience to really start piecing together your education, your life experiences, your world experiences, and your respective beliefs into a coherent way of approaching topics. Hopefully by that age you're less likely to have the emotional outburst in response to a subject (think about the stereotypical slamming the door teenager behavior, many of us did that and we cringe thinking about it) and more likely to approach something in a levelheaded and informed manner. Unfortunately there is some research that shows evidence that Gen Z and Millenials are susceptible to propaganda and misinformation, with the former exhibiting behavior akin to Boomers. So keep that in mind that none of us are safe for misinformation, but some generations are worse than others. Now, who am I to say this to you? Some of you are quite mad right at the moment. Some of you have strived to be seen as well informed young adults or to be taken seriously, and in some cases you are. However...
I'm in my 30s and I have been teaching at the college level for a decade and some change now. By no means am I an expert, but I have enough experience to say something. The ages I teach are 18+, meaning I've had students that are typical fresh high school grads and students that are in their 50s. Myself and my colleagues have heard repeatedly from students the "I'm an adult, I know what I'm doing" line to only watch that 18-22 y.o. student fail miserably or come crying to us later. I have personally watched students go through the stages of grief as they realized in my classes that their pet science activism is not what they thought, but they've wrapped so much of their identity around it. You're still learning, and thinking you know more just because you read something online is an issue. You're also still growing and developing as a person. Recognize that you can be manipulated. Recognize that you can be wrong. Recognize your own inherent biases. Then do better.

"You act as if you do not recognize my feelings for you—I am in love with you, and graduation is almost here, meaning you'd be gone in a bit. However, I could not let that happen, letting you out of my grasp. You are mine, ____, I am here to claim you.”

"Ohhhh yeah! Graduation is nearly here, only a couple of days away!"
You were so excited, walking the halls of Shiratorizawa with your friend, also a volleyball player of the team. Shirabu, who was just as excited as you were, even if his calm demeanor didn't really express it, his smile said it all. You were nearly a straight A student, and having the opportunity to walk across that stage made you all the more excited, nearly cheering as you walked. "Yeah! I can't believe how fast these years went by. I also can't believe we won't be seeing each other, as much."
It was an understatement to say that you would be seeing them, as much as you do now, considering you're going out into adulthood to start your own lives. It bummed you out a little, in all honesty, but a quick smile pulled to your lips as you pat Shirabu on his back twice, for he was looking down a little saddened. You two always hang out so you could understand how he felt. "Don't worry, Shirabu! I'll make sure to keep in contact, with you and the others. I'll make sure to text you, at least fifty times a day!"
He could only smile, your bright personality always seeming to calm his nerves. A nod of his head showed that he was taking you seriously, knowing that you'd literally text him fifty times a day. Possibly even more, if you've got the time to do so. If you could add one more year to your high school education with him, you would honestly, if that meant you could still see him everyday but it is what it is.
You couldn't be in school forever, but you're really ready for college, having already made your choice. Since you were the manager of Shiratorizawa and a third year, this year was your last so you had a choice, and your choice was to attend a college. You didn't know where everyone on the team was going or what they've planned on doing after graduation, but you knew some like Ushijima would be staying in volleyball.
You honestly didn't know what Shirabu was planning on doing, so you looked at him, raising an eyebrow which made him turn to you with a confused expression and a hum of question. You weren't insulting him though, just really curious. "What are you doing after graduation, Shirabu? I don't think you've told me, honestly."
He looked at you for a moment, as if he was thinking just before his eyes went to the floor whilst answering your question. "Well, at first I didn't know, but I think I still want to play volleyball. I don't know what college I'll be going to though, but hopefully one with the best volleyball teams. A powerhouse team, just like our Shiratorizawa team was. It'd be awesome, if you could still be my college teams manager, though."
You lit up at the idea, but you had no clue as to which college he wanted to attend. It'd be awesome if you could be his manager, but it'd be different if the entire team was different, meaning you would have to meet an entire bunch of new people. Yes, you had to do that with Shiratorizawa, but they were more welcoming and open to you, which easily formed a bond with them.
If you tried being a manager with a college team, they may not be as nice, but it's just a thought. Plus, that's the same thought you had when you first became the manager of Shiratorizawa, thinking they wouldn't like you but honestly, they freaking loved you. None of them would shut up about you having to leave, well Ushijima didn't really seem to care, honestly. It bothered you a bit, however, you weren't going to tell him though.
You scratched that thought, returning your gaze to the bowl cut male, beside you. You realized you didn't reply to him, smiling to shake off your thought of Ushijima. Shirabu was really your bestfriend, so if he would miss you, then you were okay with everything else for now. Plus, you knew that everyone on the team was busying themselves with getting ready to leave the academy, so you didn't complain too much about it.
"Well Shirabu, we'll just have to see which college we'll be going to. I wouldn't mind being your manager, so I'll think about it! But, let's hurry, I know the team is waiting!"
"Yeah, right!" You two were on the way to the gym, as your team was doing one more team practice game, just before you were released into the real World. You of course wouldn't participate in the practice game, more like just cheer them on and enjoy your last game together, before your leaving.
Your grumpy old coach let you decide this, considering that when it came to you, he wasn't as explosive as he was with the guys. Everyone just all around adored you, as your calm demeanor and personality tended to sooth the tension between anyone, which they loved. It didn't matter how bad games gotten, even if that never really happened, you were always the one to say something to keep them going. You were the kind of manager to never lose hope on your team, no matter how many points you were behind, you'd always have something to say that would boost their confidence, bringing home the win.
It wasn't long before you two made it to the gym, the sound of shoes screeching on the floor sounding throughout the gym, and flowing into the hallway. You were so excited to see your team, since you didn't get to see them the other few days, as you were setting up the graduation ceremony. Some of it, at least. Your face lit of with a smile that was nearly brighter than the sun, seeing as your entire team turned to you with a smile, running at you which made you flinch a bit as they called out your name whilst charging at you. They looked so big, coming towards you...
"____!!!!"
All of them was running at you with open arms, causing you and Shirabu to freeze, your lips twitching thinking that you were about to get tackled to the ground. Well, they stopped once you all heard it. Heard him... you'd rather say...
"Hey! Sit your lazy asses down, and let ____ in the gym! For crying out loud, she just got here, give her some damn space!"
"Sorry Coach!"
You should've known your coach was going to say something, but it relived you that he did, considering your size compared to your teammates. They still proceeded to approach you, but more calmly this time, big smiles etched across their faces as you hugged all of them, one by one. Still though, Ushijima was the only one who didn't approach you, but you weren't really focused on that right now, just so you could catch up with your friends right here. You lastly hugged the little Goshiki, he always managed to brighten your day, and you really hoped he'd become the new Ace, of the team. He was that good, to you.
"Do you really have to go, ____?! I'm gonna miss you so much!"
"Okay Goshiki..."
You chuckled a bit, trying to calm him as he layed his head on your shoulder, both his arms around you which instinctively made your arms wrap around him, in return. You found him so cute, and his personality even cuter, considering that he always tried impressing you when he's playing, on the floor agaisnt other teams. You'd cheer for him, of course, but that didn't mean you didn't cheer for your other teammates.
He was so dramatic, with you, resting his head on your shoulder as he cried, real or fake you didn't know. You just chuckled, stroking his dark hair as his sobs only seemed to get louder, but you distracted yourself as you looked to another one of your teammates. His brownish orange hair catching your attention, you releasing the hold on Goshiki to hug Taichi as well.
"I'll be sure to visit you all, once I get settled into my college. Since I've already been accepted, y'know."
"Yeah totally, just make sure I'm the first one you visit."
"Nu uh, she's gonna visit me first!"
You could only smile as they tried debating on who'd you get to see first, who you honestly couldn't choose. However though, you always had an idea, one that you suggested to them almost immediately, smiling it out as you said it.
"Guys, how about my first week in college, we all get together and do something?! Or before the graduation ceremony, we could probably do a little get together, before we officially leave the academy?" They seemed to love the idea, all smiles appearing on each one of their faces, but one and that's Ushijima who decided to join the group, without you even noticing. He was quiet too, but he was listening in on everything you were saying with the team, and he wasn't really enjoying what he was hearing.
Low groans were coming from him, groans of disappointment and disapproval, but of course no one could hear them. His eyes were glazed over with slight anger, narrowed as he eyed you down, listening closely on what you were saying. He could feel the anger in his chest boiling, tightly straining the muscles in his arms, containing him from striking blows at something.
He didn't want anyone else hanging around you, but him and only him, that's why he was more quiet than usual. But once you glanced at him, you smiled and walked up to the taller male, his eyes softening as he looked down at your shorter figure, your arms extending to offer the male a hug. He doesn't give hugs, but to everyone and your surprise, he engulfed you in his arms, a genuine hug as he placed both hands on your back.
Considering the height difference, Ushijima had to bend down a bit, just to get a full embrace on your body. You melted into the hug though, but as it concluded, everyone was silent, more out of shock and surprise. For some reason however, the hug felt different... like something that you've never experienced before, but it was a good feeling. A feeling that you kind of didn't want to get rid of, a slight tint of pink ghosting over your cheeks, faintly.
His scent was causing your hold on his body to tighten, as he smelled of a bit of sweat and faint cologne, from an earlier time. You didn't want to seem weird or anything, so you tried releasing the embrace, but Ushijima wouldn't let go. Not yet, at least. You could hear the teasing words of your friends around you, and the gasps of some who were befuddled with the whole ordeal.
"Woooow, Ushiwaka! I never expected to see the day, you went soft for some girl." The red haired middle blocker, Satori Tendou, commented as his lanky body dramatically moved to insinuate his words. Your face was flushed blood red, by now, thinking the thumping of your heart could be felt on Ushijima's chest. He was so close as he held you flush agaisnt his body, which didn't sooth your nerves at all.
He did however loosen his hold on you and let you go, once he heard the voice of his bestfriend. You stood off to the side, patting the side of your thighs as your eyes trailed to your legs masked with black tights, then trailed to your feet to try and relieve the fast beats of your pulse, that was beating quickly with embarrassment. Ushijima stared at Tendou without a concern in the World, as what he just did to you was on purpose. He wanted everyone to see him do that, wanting everyone to know just who exactly you'd be giving your last and only hugs to. He wasn't going to speak on that though, only staring at Tendou with that usual bored look of his.
"____, isn't just some girl, Tendou."
His bland and short answer was to be expected, but it still made your heart pound agaisnt your ribcage. He was always this way so you were used to it, though everyone began to clear out as the two spoke, but with you still off to the side. You couldn't believe your friends, including Shirabu, left you in the middle of this conversation.
"You're right, she's a special girl. A really special girl, that I know you're soft for."
You didn't know if Ushijima was getting upset or not, but you began to slightly panick as Tendou proceeded to talk. There was absolutely nothing wrong with Ushijima being soft for you, but you didn't want him to get upset with that, as you don't really think that you're Ushijima's type. As bold as he is, he was possibly about to crush your self esteem, anyway. Standing between the two, you chuckled to try and brush off the conversation, averting your gaze between the two males. It's not like you were disappointed in Ushijima not liking you or whatever, you just didn't want to hear those kinds of words coming from his mouth. If you didn't know any better, you would probably say that Tendou is doing this on purpose, honestly.
"Hey guys, how about we just-"
"No, he is correct, ____," Ushijima looked down at you, his words penetrating your chest and causing a gasp to escape your parted lips, "You are indeed, a very special girl, to me."
"And it's unlike the great Ushiwaka to confess, something like this, wouldn't you agree too, ____?"
Honestly, you would and you did agree with that. Never have you ever heard him say something like this and hearing him say this to you, made it all the more unbelievable. It made you smile though, knowing that Ushijima did in fact care, to some extent which you didn't know how much but it was a good start. It may have started too late though, considering you're graduating in a few days. "I guess you're right, Tendou. Didn't think you'd be saying anything like that, about me, y'know."
Ushijima's deadpan facial expression was still unreadable, as he was looking down at you, but you weren't complaining about what he said. It was kinda nice actually, and you really appreciated what he said, since you thought that he didn't necessarily care for you? In the beginning. He's just so put together and private that you didn't know anything, so it was reasonable as to why you'd think that. He rarely even conversates with you anyway, so that's another reason you didn't think he was really interested in talking to you, or whatnot.
Whenever you two do talk though, he's always replying with the shortest statements, sending awkward tension between you two. At least you found those moments awkward, as you would always try engaging in a conversation with him, whenever you had a chance, but it gets shut down quickly. You were still his manager for now, though, but in your mind you would hope he considers you as his friend, as well. There was no telling what was going on in that mind of his, as he never exactly expressed himself, not to you at least. That's just who he is and you don't judge him for that, having accepted that when you first were introduced.
"Expect the unexpected, ____."
That was the last thing Ushijima said, just before he turned tails to proceed with team practice. You watched him walk away, gulping a bit as it nerved you for some reason, because you honestly wish he would sit down and converse with you sometimes like your other friends, on the team.
You weren't going to force him though, especially since you know that this is just how he is, and you didn't mind him being that way. If he didn't want want to open up and talk to you one on one, you honestly didn't mind, but you would at least like to know where he stands with you. Is he your friend, or what..? You didn't know that and you wanted to ask, but you were a little too shy when it came to being around Ushijima, by yourself. Just because he's... well, a little awkward and you didn't want to say or do anything that'll potentially make him upset, with you.
"Well right now, we should probably just practice and enjoy our time, before it's over. Y'know ____, just like he said, expect the unexpected." You narrowed your eyes at the red haired male, he shrugged as he began trailing over to the rest of the team. You just followed behind him, but your mind was so focused on what Ushijima said about you, but you weren't upset about it. It just surprised you, in all honesty as it was unexpected.
He's just never seemed interested in talking with you or anything, so you were curious if what he said was true or not. As usual, Ushijima's whole vibe was unreadable, but you also would think that he wasn't the type to joke like that. Seeming as he's always serious, well that's what it looks like. That was something you totally didn't expect, so you could agree with both their words... expect the unexpected.
You were super bummed that practice seemed to end fast, your teammates already leaving which kept you in the gym, as you always tended to clean up after matches. Everyone was tired so you didn't mind cleaning up by yourself, the silence making you feel at peace with yourself. It was nearly clean already, as you're currently taking down the net to place it back into the storage room, finishing it up easily by yourself.
The sound of shoes walking towards the exits notified you that you were alone, waving at your friends that were leaving. After this though, you'd have to finish helping set up the graduation ceremony, but you didn't mind it to be honest. Considering you've got the opportunity to walk across that stage and officially become an adult, it exicted you so much that you didn't mind helping set up everything for the ceremony. You were putting away the net and some volleyballs, along with the brooms you've used to clean up the gym. You were carrying them all at once, which made some fall from your hands, you having to put some down to get the ones that had fallen upon the floor. The only thing you could hear was yourself sighing, that's until you heard footsteps behind you followed by a deep voice, one that you recognize from your team.
"____."
Firstly you turned your head, setting eyes upon the source that called out your name. The tall olive haired male, Ushijima was in your presence once again, and alone which almost instantly caused you to become awkward. You began dropping everything, tripping over things, trying to calm yourself as your nerves went into overdrive, filling with unintentional tension. You kept saying sorry as you tried straightening your act up, but you didn't even realize that Ushijima found your actions cute. He wouldn't say that, however, continuing to stare at you with lightly tinted cheeks, both his hands balling into fists as he tried to contain himself. This was his moment, and he didn't know how to approach it, but he was thinking as he watched you.
One last object made you trip, falling on your bottom with your legs crossed, which embarrassed you. You sighed, just before helping yourself up knowing that he wouldn't, but it was okay. Using both your hands, you maneuvered your hands behind your back and down to your bottom, brushing off the little dirt and dust that managed its way on you as you fell. "Uh, I'm sorry about that! Hopefully, you can unsee that," A string of chuckles escaped you, awkward and embarrassed chuckles that Ushijima could easily catch onto but you proceeded to talk, questioning him. "Anyway, why are you still here? Everyone else already left, probably... twenty minutes ago."
"I am well aware of that, ____."
Instantly, your eyebrow arched up, confused and questioning him once again in your head. Everyone on the team was already gone except him, and you had no idea what else would make him stay. You clean up here by yourself nearly everyday, and the Ace has never stayed behind for you, as he was usually one of the first ones gone.
"Okay, then why are you still here?"
"Can I not stay behind, to accompany you, ____?"
It wasn't a bad idea, but you didn't like it for whatever reason. His bland facial expression always confuses you, leaving you bothered and concerned for whatever he was thinking. You just hoped you weren't upsetting the taller male, not knowing if he was actually capable of getting upset or not, considering that you've never seen it. But it was weird that he wanted to stay behind and keep you company, obviously he's not the type to do that. You weren't going to complain about it though, because you didn't know what triggered the male, or what would make him upset with you so you just decided to go along with it. Letting this situation flow like water, clearly.
"Well sure, you can."
Nothing else was said from him, but his body walking over to you, his shadow covering your entire figure. It was so awkward and silent, you didn't even know what to do nor say, as you could feel the males body heat on your back. Hesitantly, you looked behind you seeing as the olive haired male was standing really close to your body. He was like two or three feet away, and it was still uncomfortable to you no matter how many feet. You tried your best not to think much of it, but you couldn't help it, considering that you aren't very fond of people in your personal space. However, you didn't know what to say to Ushijima, him of all people was the most intimidating to you.
He's so quiet, big, and awkward to you and that's something you really didn't know how to deal with, as mostly all your friends aren't like this. Still though, you didn't judge him, but the intense look in his eyes made your entire body stiffen. He always looked like this, but that stare of his was practically making you shake to the bone. If he was here to talk to you, you didn't know but you stood up straight, standing completely in front of the male. Considering his height, you had to crane your head upwards to look him in the face, as that cold stare of his seemed to intensify. You didn't want to be here right now, for some reason, but you weren't going to say exactly that. "Um... I have to go... help with the graduation ceremony."
He didn't seem bothered by what you said, his large body standing in your way, blocking you from walking around him to leave. You were so confused, your eyes a little wide whilst staring at the male, who didn't even attempt to move away to let you leave. The tension in the small storage room was getting more intense, your heart thumping harshly agaisnt your chest. It was until you heard him say something, snapping you out of your trance.
"You are not going anywhere." The venom in his voice caused your body to tremble, as he seemed to be more serious than usual. His body turning and his arms reaching to close the door freighted you even more, and it made you more scared that you didn't know what the hell he was doing. You didn't want to stick around and find out, though.
"Ushijima, what are you doing? I gotta go help with the-"
"What you're going to do, is stay here and help me."
You weren't going to do that, at least it was in your plan, you shrugging off your fear to try and walk around the taller male. He easily blocked your way with a single step, once again in your full view, your eyes going up to the males face. He was still looking down at you, his eyes still dark and intense which brung your fear back. You had no idea what he wanted, and the click sound of the storage room door scared you more, indicating that he looked you both in there. It was honestly scaring you and pissing you off a bit, not knowing what he had in store drove you crazy, because this was also a bit creepy. What in the World could the great Ushiwaka need help with?
"Um... wha—what do you need help with?"
He didn't answer you, not verbally at least, but visually when he began approaching you. His hands went to your arms, holding you down which made you begin panicking. Why was he manhandling you, his grasp on your arms really tight which didn't really give you room to struggle. He was only staring at you, with his usual calm face but that didn't better the situation. You just wanted to leave, but he wasn't allowing you to wiggle out of his grip. Everytime you moved though, his hands on your arms tightened, nearly breaking your bones at the moment.
"If you struggle against me, I will not be gentle with you." Your eyes widen and your body went stiff, the males grip on you loosening but he didn't let you go. You were beyond petrified with his statement however, because what in the fuck does that mean? You honestly didn't know and you weren't eager to find out, just to be honest with yourself. "You act as if, you do not recognize my feelings for you." That sentence caused a sharp gasp to escape your lips, did you hear that right? "I am in love with you, and graduation is almost here, meaning you'd be gone in a bit. However, I could not let that happen, letting you out of my grasp. You are mine, ____, I am here to claim you."
What the hell? You were confused as shit, as you've never heard Ushijima talk like this, not in your presence at least. Whatever this was, you weren't interested in it, because you were more scared than excited to see what he had in mind. You just wanted to go because something about this situation, did not feel right at all, but you couldn't pinpoint it. "What do you mean by, you're here to claim me? Listen Ushijima, I really don't have time-"
His grasp on you tightened, pulling your body flush against his bigger build, your eyes nearly popping out of your head as you felt a stiff object against your thigh. Was this some kind of sick joke, or is this what he meant by he needed your help with something? You honestly didn't know, but you still weren't interested in knowing.
"You are mine. I have been in love with you, far too long and you have yet to realize my feelings, for you. Never have I ever felt this way for someone. You are not going anywhere, until I claim what is mine. No matter if you were to graduate, I'd follow you as I've already planned. Though, our earlier conversation, with Tendou, made me want you even more. I see how my teammates look at you, that is why I'll be claiming you here and now."
Still though, some fight electrified your veins, pushing some courage back into your body as you once again tried wiggling out of his grasp. Your movement was just making the male groan deeply, your thigh was rubbing against the hard muscle agaisnt you. He welcomed that, honestly. "Are you crazy, Ushijima?! Let me go, before I tell coach!"
"We are close to graduating and adulthood, meaning he can no longer tell me what to do, nor you. You can struggle all you want, you will be mine." In an instant, his hands were on your clothes, snatching them away from your body, your tights being the first thing to go. You were panicking now, trying your best to scream but who would hear you? Everyone left already so there was no one who could come save you, from this man.
"What the- what the hell, Ushijima?! Let me fucking go!-"
"If you keep struggling, it will just get worse for you. I will not take you gently, if you keep fighting me with this."
You still tried pushing him away, as you didn't hear the words he just stated. His hands tore your tights completely off just before one of his hands went to your chest, ripping your shirt open, the buttons flying in different directions. Your bra was on full display to the male, as your insecurities began to arise but he didn't seem to care. His right hand was fondling your breast, and your hands began trying to pry his hands off your body, but his left hand easily took both your hands in his to pin above your head. All you had was your legs to kick at him, but those kicks were doing absolutely nothing to him. His grip on your wrists were tight, and all you wanted to do was scream.
He was staring at your chest, the fabric covering it making his body even hotter than it already was. Your chest was heaving quickly, his eyes slowly trailing to your face but he didn't say anything, and you ceased your kicking once he did. You both were locked in each other's gaze, and it made all the fear in your body rise again. His right hand was removed from your body, going to his own and to the hem of his shorts, pulling them down which made you panick. He didn't seem to care about your reaction, his eyes still focused on you as he pulled them down. You weren't even sure if you were dreaming or not, because this did not feel real, at all.
"Ushijima! Stop, what are you doing?!"
His hand continued pushing his shorts down, until they fell to his ankles and upon the floor before he stepped out the holes of the shorts. The boxers that were restraining him did little to cover him up, and it made you panick even more. This wasn't right, as you two are still in school no matter how close graduation was.
His hand that was on the hem of his boxers stayed there, calming your heaving chest and beating heart, but it didn't sooth the situation. Your insides were screaming at you right now, your brain punching you to fight this man off of you. It's obvious that you aren't going to like what he was planning, it didn't take a rocket scientist to know. "You belong to me and I belong to you. After this happens, you will not be able to leave me."
"Why didn't you just ask me out, like a logical person would, Ushijima?!"
He paused from your outburst, and you did as well, since you were the type to not really raise your voice. His hand on his boxers slid them down a bit, riding a little under his v line, but you refused to look at what he was doing. He didn't seem to care for how you felt in this situation.
"As close as you and Shirabu are, I know what his real intentions were."
You gasped, eyes wide listening to the words of Ushijima. You didn't speak though, just listening to him continue with what he had to say about Shirabu, your bestfriend. If Shirabu had a secret he was keeping from you, you sure as hell haven't even heard of it, didn't even have a hint of it. "He has told me that he would ask you on a date, after graduation. I refuse to let him have you, for I know you would not deny his feelings. It is clear that you love Shirabu, when you should be loving me. You belong to me."
Of course you love Shirabu, but you didn't know what level of love it was on. You didn't even know Shirabu loved you, as much as Ushijima said and you believed him because, when has Ushijima lied? You can't recall, even if you tried but you still would've preferred him just asking you out.
You know you wouldn't reject Shirabu, so all Ushijima would have to suffer was a rejection, but he's attractive enough to get someone else so that's why it confused you. Out of everyone. "Why do you want me, out of everyone in this school I mean... I'm nothing special, I'm just your manager! There are girls who are way slimmer and prettier, than me!"
You hated admitting that, but you knew it was true and that's why you said it, because you needed to know why he wanted you of all people. It's okay that he finds you attractive, but this wasn't what you should do, if you wanted to show someone that you found them attractive. He still didn't seem to care about what you were saying, his eyes burning holes in your skull as if he was seeing right through you. This would be the last thing you'd expect him to do to you, and it really confused you as to why he was doing this, because he was supposedly in love with you. You listened to his words though, as he spoke.
"I told you before, that you are special to me. No other girl could compete with you, ____. Skinny or not, your weight is what attracts me to you. Besides your personality, how you tolerate me even if you know how I am. It is obvious that people get annoyed by my ways, but you do not seem to care. That is why I want you and only you."
His hands pushed his boxers completely down before you could say anything else, your eyes widening once that stiff organ bounced out and stood at attention. You gasped, really getting a feel on the entire situation and once he brushed the tip agaisnt you and he was still standing some parts away from you, it really showed you how big he was.
Way bigger than you would've imagined, and it scared you as you realized what was about to happen. He didn't just have extreme length, but major girth that seemed a little too heavy for him to carry around all the time, the twitching veins intimidating you. Also the amount of leaking pre-cum scared you. In an instant, you were on your back on the mats that they use sometimes in the gym, to rest. Your hands were still pinned above your head though and when he flipped your skirt up to lay agaisnt your stomach, you once again tried kicking at him. He easily slid his body between your legs, his length too resting on your abdomen.
You froze, feeling his balls agaisnt your covered heat, your legs ceasing and your body stiffening once you felt the heavy cock resting on you. He was staring down at you as you were staring up at him, his eyes holding nothing but want and need for you. You've never done this before, so that's why it scared you more. It didn't take long for him to push himself back off of you with your hands still in his hand, just so he could push your panties aside and pull back enough to grip his throbbing cock. A sharp gasp escaped you, your legs beginning to kick once again, but it wasn't bothering Ushijima. You just wanted to reason with him, at least try to because he was obviously not stopping.
"Wait wait, Ushijima!” He ceased his movements, as his eyes trailed back to your distressed face. You were relived, thinking he was actually giving you a bit of mercy. "You don't have to do this! We can just... just go on a date, and see how it goes! We can both just forget that this ever happened!"
"I am afraid that I cannot do that, nor do I trust your words that you won't tell anyone."
"Ushijima please-!"
He cut you off with a harsh penetrating thrust into your body, the wind being knocked out of you as your hymen snapped. You practically screamed out, but he used his right hand to cover your mouth, his own eyes and teeth closing shut from the tight hold you had on his thick cock. The other thing is that he wasn't even all the way inside of you, but he was still pressing agaisnt your cervix, which soothed the pain by a lot, your cunt spasming violently around the thick cock lodged inside of you. He was panting heavily as both his hands went to your hips, trying his best to push himself deeper inside you.
Your back arched so much into the male, allowing his cock to slide in easier but slowly which caused a slight burning feeling. He was pushing past your cervix, placing himself inside your womb until his hips were flush agaisnt yours. He thrusted once, before you nearly cried out, your walls clamping around his length, gushing out around it to coat his abdomen and thighs. He was confused, until he looked down to see your pussy convulsing and squirting on him, your body shaking which notified him of what he did to your body. He just made you cum from entering you, barely doing anything which made the male crazily smirk. His grip on your hips tightened, slowly pulling out before thrusting harshly back in, his cock easily kissing your cervix.
Your hands were trying to find anything to hold onto, since Ushijima was sitting up and rapidly thrusting deeply inside your overstimulated pussy. Deep grunts and groans came from the male, his hands grabbing yours to put them on his shirt, your hands instinctively gripping it as he picked up his pace, the obscene squelching sounds meeting your ears. There was barely any pain, his cock hungrily trying to get all your juices to coat him, his eyes looking down at your joined bodies watching as your sheen coated him. He let his head fall back, thunderous moans escaping his chest from how tight you were. Water was trickling from your eyes, warming your cheeks in an onslaught of pleasure that your lower regions were recieving.
"Fuck..! You're so tight for me ____, I love you..! Keep squeezing my cock, just like that—ngh!" You could barely focus on his deep voice, for another orgasm was winding in your abdomen, Ushijima's thrust were so intense and strong that it had the mats underneath you nearly sliding you off of it. His hands went to your legs, pulling them agaisnt his body as both his hands slammed on the sides of the floor, trapping you underneath his body.
In this position, his cock seemed to push pass your cervix, fucking into your womb which made the male growl like a beast. One of his hands went to your hip, holding you there whilst he fucked down into your weeping pussy, his huge cock opening you so wide to his cock. The feel of his balls smacking your ass had you screaming his name, the male grunting in your face. “Ushi..!"
You couldn't even get his name out, each pounding smash of his hips agaisnt yours keeping your words in and letting your moans out. Both your eyes were closed tightly, all that was heard was your synchronized moans and your individual screams. It wasn't long before your second orgasm broke, your grip on his shirt pulling him down on your body. "Wakat..! Ushi..!"
You didn't know what you were saying, the male still pounding into you, but slowly as your walls securely took a grip on his thick shaft, keeping him almost trapped inside you. It took so much effort for him to pull out, his grip on your waist becoming painfully tight but you couldn't respond to that.
You were so tight that it nearly pained him, an unexpected deep moan escaping him while his hips slowly continued to sink inside of you, your body shaking and your head against his chest to conceal your screams and shameful moans. The male slowly fucked into you, letting you ride out the parties of paradise enhanced in your pussy. Your eyes were burning with overstimulated tears, a white coat of your cum coating his cock in a ring of your juices, that now belonged to him. You couldn't believe how good he was making you feel, but you still didn't want it to be this way, losing your virginity in such a forceful way.
Once his hips came to a stop, he pulled out and layed you on your stomach, on the mats you were currently layed on your back. You couldn't do anything, as he once again lined his throbbing length up with your spasming pussy. He didn't waste anytime with sheathing himself balls deep into you again, your body screaming almost. He didn't even give you time to recover from your orgasm, his hands going to your hips as he pulled you back with his aggressive thrust. He seemed to hit deeper in this position, your walls feeling the thick veins protruding his length, but his thrusts weren't as hard as they were the first time.
They still kissed your cervix sweetly though, his balls now smacking your clit that was already overly stimulated and leaking with your own juices. His hands went to your front half, pulling you up and forcing your body to arch into his thrust, now his cock sweetly caressing your g-spot. His hands were placed on your throat, his eyes looking down to where he was entering your body from, loving the sight of your small pussy trying to eat up his cock. It was kind of hard for him to thrust back into your body, but when he did, it felt like absolute heaven to not only you, but him too. "I'm coming..! I'm coming, ____! I want you to take it all..!"
You began panicking, but you couldn't get out his grasp as your body already felt like it was jelly. Your hands could only hold onto the mat underneath you, feeling his thrusts speed up which caused a clapping sound to secrete in the room. His thrusts were so hard, your body convulsing as another orgasm formed.
Your entire fate was sealed, you'll be with him forever if he gets you pregnant, and you couldn't let that happen but what could you do? Absolutely nothing, but take him deeply inside you. His moans were getting louder, his hands around your throat before he pulled you flush agaisnt his chest. Both his arms were around your chest, one hand going to your throat and squeezing it as he began slowly sliding in and out of you. The sounds were so erratic, and you couldn't help the way your walls trembled as you listened to it. "Scream out my name, ____..! Tell me... tell me you love me..!"
His pace picked up again, your orgasm snapping harshly in your abdomen, your legs kicking under you as he continued to drill through your orgasm. This one was more intense than all the other ones, seeming like it ripped your entire body with tidal waves of pleasure. A harsh smack on your ass made your body jolt, as you screamed out the words he demanded you say. "I—I love you..! Wakatoshi..!"
His grin widened, his body went stiff as he plunged himself deeply inside of you, his lips latching onto your neck as he moaned agaisnt you. You could barely register the hot pulsing liquid surging throughout you, the male biting a deep mark into your neck. His orgasm was so intense that slight tears escaped his eyelids too, as he's never felt something this good. He definently wasn't planning on letting you go, at all. You're finally his, and will always be his.
Literal tears escaped your eyes as another orgasm broke over you, one not that hard but enough to have you screaming. He held you close to his body, slowly grinding his hips agaisnt yours to empty out his seed into your womb. His grasp on your throat was removed though, before his arms went to wrap around your waist.
A stinging pain was on your neck, and that was when you realized he imprinted a dark hickey on you. Your body fell agaisnt the mat, his hands holding his body up and off of your body. He was still deeply seated inside you, his cock still pressed firmly against your cervix. You could still feel him cumming, your eyes shut still feeling the thick spurts of his seed filling your womb. His hand went to caress your ass, before you heard his deep rumbling voice.
"You will not go to college, ____. You will be with me, at all times, no matter what. No matter how much you want to leave, I will punish you, if you do not cooperate with me." You were so ready to graduate, as you didn't think it would turn out like this. It was correct to expect the unexpected.

Price for Falling in Love
Summary: Loving a fae is something nobody even thought of. A human fallen in love with a fae but said fae..has his eyes on another person. Why is love so painful with those with a disease of unrequited love?

Word count: 1,615 words
Fandom: Twisted Wonderland
Warning: Angst, unrequited love, death(reader dies), Malleus is already in love, reader is a Diasmonia 2nd year Student, gore

Love. Is it a blessing or a curse?
For you..It is a blessing. You think love needs trust, affection, loyalty and all that lovely crap. But if that is true..why does a certain fae not know about your love for him? You were a regular Diasomina student in Night Raven College and you are a second year. You fall in love with Malleus Draconia, the head warden of Diasomnia and future prince. You know, everyone and their grandparents knew you were in love with him but…Malleus didn’t know that. No, he has his attention towards the new magicless student named Yuuken. Even though it is wrong, you can not help but feel a bit of jealousy whenever you see Yuuken and Malleus hanging out together. You heard Yuuken’s story, immediately felt sad for Yuuken and even asked him to be your friend in private.
‘Love is fine. Love is getting closer.’ You thought to yourself in a naive way as if you were so pleased with everything in your life. In Yuuken’s room, helping him study when you felt a pain in your lungs, turning around and coughing. To say you were horrified when you see blooded blue roses and daffodils in the palms on your hand is an understatement, you were..speechless at the sight. “[Name},” Yuuken spoke up after he saw you standing still. “Are you okay? You are quiet-” Yuuken watches you show the blooded flowers in a way which makes Yuuken feel worried and concerned for you. “Yuuken,” You slowly speak up after a moment of silence. “W-What is this? W-Why am I coughing up these?” The magicless student just stands up and slowly walks towards you with a concerned and serious expression. “You..have..hanahaki disease. A disease of unrequited love.” This shocks you to your core as Yuuken later explains the hanahaki disease.
Hanahaki Disease..one of the two unrequited love diseases. Those who have hanahaki disease will start coughing up flowers. The person will have two choices: Confess their love or get surgery. But if they confess their love to the crush and their love was rejected, the hanahaki disease will claim another victim and if they have surgery, they will live; however they will never have feelings for the person they once loved. The Hanahaki Disease is a very rare yet tragic disease that there are very few reported cases.
“So..[name], who do you fall in love with?” Yuuken asks the question to which you answer. “Malleus Draconia. However, he did not know about this..my love for him.” you started to cry while Yuuken hugged you tightly as he knows how dangerous yet tragic that disease is to love. “You have to get surgery to remove these flowers..” You heard Yuuken but you..simply refused because you never think that you will have this disease.
“I will not have the surgery..I would rather die than lose my feelings.” Yuuken only looks at you for a second before taking a deep breath. “I see. I will keep this a secret but we have to meet up secretly. If you do not want anyone to worry, trust me with this secret.” You were hesitant and you want to suffer this alone but you can not deny..seeing how Yuuken is so kind to you with no hidden intentions unlike certain people. So the promise was kept between two students one who is Diasomina student and a magicless student
Malleus was confused by your actions. You were spending less time with him, avoiding him even in the hallways and class. He even watches you hang out with the first years, the second years with a pout on his face, he thinks that you are his friend..a friend who never abandoned him and you just ignore him completely. Lilia is not a fool..he had seen everything despite being the sneaky and mischievous third year. Yet..he cannot help but feel suspicious of you and Yuuken’s behavior. Secretly meeting each other, hearing your coughs while Yuuken comforts you and you both even left the meeting place with no evidence. He needs answers to this so when you and Yuuken are at the woods for another secret meeting, he appears behind Yuuken and speaks joyfully.
“Hello fellow lads,” You and Yuuken jumped in surprise when Lilia spoke. “A wonderful day in NRC, no? However I can not help but notice that you two are acting so..what is the word?..Ah! Sus are you young lads spoke of.” Yuuken gulps in nervousness as Lilia keeps speaking. “No there is nothing wrong with that but..I want an explanation from either of you two.” Silence fills the air as you three did not speak a word..that is until. “Lilia-senpai.” Yuuken speaks. “We have something to tell you but you must promise that you won’t make a peep of it to anyone..not even Tsunotaro.”
Lilia was…not expecting that from the magicless student but he did not know why this ‘secret’ shouldn’t reach Malleus’s ears. “Explain to me about this and I will determine whether to follow that promise or not.” You look at your feet, biting your lip however you gather your courage to speak. “Lilia..I have hanakai disease..” your voice is..not as strong and confident as Lilia remembers. “W-Who do you fall in love with?” Lilia knows the answer but he wants to hear it from your mouth. “Malleus Draconia. But I will not get surgery..I would rather..perish than lose my feelings for Mally..” Then suddenly, you started to cough up bloody green petals harshly which Yuuken later helped you clean up and take deep breaths with you.
Lilia was..worry..scared and now deep concern for you. But since this is your wish…he had no choice but to accept it and follow the promise. Lilia and Yuuken only watched as your health is slowly declining. Pale skin, hollow cheeks, your eyes are bloodshot due to crying but you always have a smile on your face even when you can’t walk without looking like a skeleton. ‘This is your wish..we have no choice but to accept it.’ Yuuken and Lilia both speak in their minds while Malleus is oblivious to everything. Oh that poor poor boy..he will soon learn the terrible news that will happen tonight.
“My time is nearing.” You look at the night sky through the window in the empty classroom with Lilia and Yuuken. “It is hard..to live any longer as this disease is slowly killing me. I want to confess my feelings to Malleus but I..I cannot.” You chuckle weakly to yourself. “I think my fear of rejection has finally won.” Lilia went up to you, gave you a peck on the forehead as he saw you like a little sibling/child to him. Yuuken just hugged you tightly with tears flowing down his cheeks. “I will never forget you, [name]. You make my first year in NRC..worth it..Rest in Peace..” When he pulled away from the hug and took a few feet back.
You felt your lungs ache in pain as flowers started to grow rapidly, filling them up. You cough, gag and scratch your neck to breathe. You were tearing up as blood and bloodied flowers began to land on the ground where you had stood. You never noticed you had fallen on the ground until you saw the ceiling. You kept..choking on the flower petals but..you slowly stop resisting the urge to stop the disease from claiming you. As you stared at the ceiling, you felt warmth..but not one but two. It was Yuuken and Lilia! They hugged you as you took your final breaths. Lilia hummed a lullaby he once hummed to Malleus, making you tear up. “Thank..you..for..accepting my wish..” You spoke so weakly that Yuuken wanted to cry like a baby. You had passed on peacefully in both your vice warden and the magicless student’s arms with a small smile on your face.
The news of your death spreads like wildfire, reaching the ears of many..even the lonely future heir of Thorne valley, Malleus Draconia. He was heartbroken by your death but was horrified when Lilia reported that you had fallen in love with him. “[Name]..is in love with me?” Malleus asked Lilia in a tone of disbelief. “Yes, Malleus. They were in love with you.” Before Malleus even tried to deny it, Lilia then spoke. “Think back to those memories you had with [name] and answer this. Is your relationship with them romantic or platonic?” Now that got Malleus into the memory lane, remembering each memory he has of you. The flirty banters, the playful yet cute nicknames you both give each other, the brushes of your fingers and then felt the spark in their veins. It is all there! Their actions are not..platonic. “It was..romantic. I was..too blind to see it.” He looks at Lilia for a while before tearing up. “Lilia..what did I do to [name]?” Malleus just broke down in front of Lilia who later hugged him silently, crying along with him.
It was a price for falling in love. But it was your price for falling in love with a fae like Malleus. It is not either you or Malleus’s fault. Fate is cruel but since you have passed away, you take away a piece of everyone in NRC’s hearts..and leave Malleus now regretting his actions. You never want to lose your love to Malleus and..it is your downfall. Rest in Peace [name]. You live a good life.

❀ ❝ 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿'𝘀 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵 ❞
━ malleus draconia x gn! reader (reader can be yuu and/or your oc) ━ it was malleus' birthday and you planned to surprise him with a gift you've made with your own hands. (f/n means first name)
this work may contain spoilers for chapter 7, diasomnia’s arc.
do not steal or translate without my permission.
it was another hectic day for malleus. though he was not in the briar valley palace being overwhelmed with plans for his birthday, he was still busy in night raven college. lilia was in the room with him, smiling at the fae as he greeted, “happy birthday, malleus! come, the guests await.”
the diasomnia dormitory head followed his guardian’s request, trailing behind him as they both went to the lounge. the celebration was splendid, to say the least. he received gifts and was greeted by students he never personally interacted with before – though they were steps away from him while delivering their greetings.
the platinum outfit he wore for this year’s birthday theme made him stand out – quite so, as he is the birthday boy. the interview was something he enjoyed as well; having deuce as his interviewer made it even more pleasant.
the celebration was nearing its end, and while he was grateful, he cannot help but feel as if something is missing. his eyes wandered around the lounge, looking for a certain person but to no avail. lilia, who stood beside him, intuitively knew who he was looking for, merely smiling, and not saying anything.
once the celebration ended, the rest of the guests returned to their respective rooms and dorms, leaving only lilia, silver, and sebek in the lounge with malleus, sorting through the gifts. while doing so, the young fae’s gaze landed on a green envelope, opening the letter as he did not recall who handed it to him.
‘to my dearest,
pleasant salutations, my love. today marks the day of your birth, and i am more than happy to wish you a happy birthday. thank you for the beautiful memories you have made with me, and i hope we can continue to make more memories together.
you might wonder about my whereabouts throughout the whole party. in all honesty, i was preparing your gift. once you have received this letter, it is time for you to take a moment to indulge in my present made for you and only you.
let us put you to a test. search for an item that fits the description i underlined. good luck!
amongst the thorny bushes, i remain bright and romantic.
forever yours, f/n l/n’
a smile ghosted over malleus’ lips, chuckling to himself as he was intrigued by your behaviour. you would go as far as putting him to a test and sending him out on a scavenger hunt, searching for objects with nothing but riddles as a clue.
“how amusing,” spoke malleus with that amused smile on his face, “quite creative, however.” lilia peeked at the letter before chuckling and gently patting his shoulder, “what are you waiting for? time is ticking!”
and with that, malleus went around the dormitory in search of something that stayed bright and romantic amongst the thorny bushes. he has gotten his first clue. thorny bushes must mean the location is in the garden of diasomnia, no? however, they do have flower bushes and whatnot, so what exactly is he supposed to find?
still, he went to the dormitory garden, eyeing all the colourful bushes before his eyes landed on the thorn bushes nearby. nothing seemed out of place, but as he stepped closer, a glowing red rose hid within the bush.
“ah, is this the item i’m supposed to find?” mumbled malleus as he quickly grabbed the rose, the thorns not pricking him as he used his magic to avoid damage. upon contact, the rose glowed even more before disappearing into thin air, and what came in replacement was a quick reveal of the words, ‘turn around.’
and so, he did. the young fae turned around with a puzzled expression before his eyes landed on you standing there with a smile. how did he not notice you? surely, he could have heard your footsteps, no? his puzzled expression morphed into a shocked one before he smiled at you, noticing your arms tucked behind you as if you were hiding something.
“and what are you hiding, dearest?” asked the male with a smug smile.
“oh, nothing~” you replied, “close your eyes.”
malleus raised a brow, eyeing you for a moment before complying with your request, closing his eyes without another word as he waited for your action. he heard a soft twinkle as you spoke, “okay, you can open them…”
once he opened his eyes, you stood with your arms out, a snow globe rested on your palm as the miniature scenery had two dragons that look identical, but one seemed to be a baby dragon holding an ice cream cone. his eyes widened as you held it out to him with a shy smile, “i made this for you…”
made?
“made?” asked malleus. you nodded as you avoided his gaze, thinking he might not like it as you mumbled a response, “yes, i don’t have much to offer, but i am skilled with arts and crafts…” you eyed the snow globe again, shaking it a little to make it snow with a soft twinkle.
malleus smiled softly as he watched you shake the globe before gently grabbing it from you, looking at it closely as he realised the dragon looks like him. “a personalised snow globe… thank you, f/n…”
“happy birthday, malleus,” you greeted with a smile, the same smile that he had always loved, the same smile that brightened his lonely days, the same smile that greets him every morning. his eyes stayed on you as he looked at you like a lovestruck puppy, wishing for this moment to never end.
an eternity with you and those he holds dear is all that he asks for.

On Being a Published Writer: Without a Degree
This is a bit of a vulnerable share today, and I am writing it after a sleepless night, the monster of anxiety and shame weighing heavily on my chest. However, I have come far in life and undergone an incredible amount of healing, and refuse to be ashamed of my past. I hope sharing this can help even one person like me remember that when it comes to craft, when it comes to art, the only thing stopping you from being worthy is you.
This year, I became a published writer. After years of hard work and dedication to my craft, I finally felt good enough to begin submitting my work to literary magazines. I'm proud of that accomplishment. It's a little tag I get to add to my bio now as I submit work that helps make me feel *valid.* But that quickly, all it takes is for someone to remind me that I did not have access to a degree, that I did not learn from the best, and I will spend the rest of my life without a formal education behind my writing, and they achieve the goal they set out: to make me feel less than for not having their background.
In America, the education system is for profit and public school system inconsistent. There are many factors that can contribute to whether or not a person gets through it successfully, and it often has little to do with intelligence, work ethic, or strength of character and drive before the age of 18.
So here is my story:
I graduated high school with a 2.1 GPA.
My first hospitalization (out of the 17 I would have in my life) for edometriomas happened at age 15. I spent the majority of high school struggling with chronic pain, stage four endometriosis and the accompanying endometriomas cysts, and illness. By age 16, social services was threatened by my school to be called on my home for suspected neglect and abuse. I moved out of my house that year, and was given temporary guardianship by a friends family.
By the end of my senior year, I continued to bounce around between friends houses, sometimes sleeping in my car, and struggled to keep on top of my coursework. I was enrolled in the work study program designed for students who had to keep a job during their high school years, and earned school credits for staying employed.
Despite all of this, I still maintained high grades in Advance Placement literature and language, proceeded to get 5's on my AP tests (a perfect score, and a rare accomplishment) as well as near perfect scores on my ACT's. I spent every spare second reading and writing from the moment I learned how. My intelligence and comprehension were not the issue. My health and my home life were.
The only reason I got into college at all was because I decided to audition for a school play freshman year. Much to my surprise, I was cast in the lead role, and thus the course of my life was set. I poured everything I had into acting, I finally had a purpose and something to keep me out of having to go home after school. Still, applying for colleges was one of the most stressful and shame inducing experiences of my life. I got into many top performance programs in the country, then would not get into the university itself with my GPA. The conservatories that did not look into school performance did not provide the financial assistance required for me to attend.
There was one university that offered limited talent admissions that would allow the university admission requirements to be overlooked for students that had displayed exceptional talent in their specialized field of study. I had to put together a request for the school board, complete with letters from my high school teachers providing context for my low GPA paired with high test scores, character assessments on my likely ability to maintain the minimum required GPA in college, as well as a letter from the head of the performing arts department of the university stating that I was worthy of this talent exception. The wait was unbearable. But I was accepted. And I was approved for the work study program that allowed me to gain employment at the university to help offset the cost.
I felt like my whole life had changed in college. I had gotten in. I had gotten out. I was a new person, no one knowing about my past or the stain of my struggles. I had a fresh start. While I continued to battle my illness throughout college, it was manageable with a consistent bed to sleep in every night, as well as access to physical and mental health services. And although I tested out of being required to take any English classes with AP, I still filled my elective credits with writing classes. Screenwriting, playwriting, poetry, creative writing. Performing became my work, and writing became my joy. I took every class that sounded remotely interesting, often filling my schedule more than required on top of my work and performance load.
I am withholding some of the more personal details of my life, but when I finally moved out to LA, I hit the ground running. I accomplished more in a few years than fellow artists and performers who had been out there for more than a decade. And I valued every person I met. I was in small, independent theatre shows with Juliard grads. I was on professional sets with wildly naturally talented people working to get their GED with no formal education but that undeniable *it* factor. People from all walks of life set out for the Angel City to make it, and I was one of them. I also began writing again, this time short films and audition monologues. I began writing pieces for friends and classmates at their request. I secured my first talent agent with a performance piece that I wrote, along with an offer to renegotiate my contract to include literary representation should I complete a script worth shopping. I began to organize applications for writing fellowships at top studios, when my condition became so severe the only option to move forward with my life was surgery. And then my life completely changed again.
I came out of that surgery with nerve damage that left me unable to walk for six months, as well as developed a new permanent nervous system disorder.
My career and my life never recovered. I was permanently changed. However, during that time, I turned one of my sci-fi short films I had written into a 160k word novel, with outlines for a trilogy. While it was one of the darkest times of my life, writing got me through it. I moved out of Los Angeles to a more affordable city and threw myself into writing. I learned that ivy league schools like Stanford, Harvard, and Yale shared their syllabi for continued study coursework online, including the required textbooks for the courses. Example here. I took myself through the textbooks and coursework of top schools, I took every local workshop possible when it was in budget. Any education on craft that was within my means, I reached for.
I will never be able to change the course of my life. I will likely never be able to go back to school. However, this amazing video by Bandon Sanderson helped me overcome my shame, my lack of access to returning to higher education when my life and career were irrevocably changed: Be Anything But an English Major
I had already done what he had encouraged, pick a subject I was passionate about, fill my college coursework with things I found interesting, and let it inform my writing. While this is not to disrespect or degrade English majors or say successful authors think the degree is worthless, I am simply sharing to say this video helped ME combat against English majors who made me feel worthless for not having access to their diploma.
So to anyone feeling insecure today, you do not need a degree in the arts. Whether you want to be an author, an actor, a painter, a fashion designer, a poet. And I say this as someone whose greatest privilege and joy in life was getting a performing arts degree.
We must continue to prioritize art being accessible, value diverse backgrounds, and wish for it to be open and available to all. We must continue to treat art as subjective, and reject ideals that learning from a certain set of paid individuals makes all other opinions, choices, or ideas invalid.
There is no dollar amount I could give to a piece of paper that would make my mind, my intelligence, and my ability to organize and understand words in an impactful way that would make me more valid than I am today. There is no degree that could replace my work ethic, my empathy, my desire to write stories to do good. To give something to the world and help people survive in the ways that I had needed to survive.
Maybe I'll tell this story again one day, and it will help another young person with my background believe there may be more in life than the cards they were dealt. Maybe this will be the first and last time sharing these words. Maybe I'll never get another piece published, but will continue to write fanfic and poetry and prose pieces to share on the internet for free because I believe in my heart it is valuable. To look at myself, and my work, and deem myself worthy of my efforts and passion.
I am proud to be a member of the community of published writers without a degree.
I am even more proud to be a member of online fandoms full of writers, artists, creators, contributors and more who give their free time and energy towards something that does nothing more than make others happy.
So,
to the people who look at the stars and wish.
to the stars who listen— and the dreams that are answered,
this one is for you.

The Prince's Precious Brother [2] - Leona Kingscholar [Platonic Yandere] [Male Yuu]
Summary: Yuu Arisugawa is actually Feore Kingscholar, the Prince of Sunset Savannah who was kidnapped 16 years ago. However, Yuu refuses to accept his true identity and insists on living as Yuu Arisugawa. His friends are shocked to discover that the Prefect of Ramshackle is actually the younger brother of Savanaclaw's Dorm Warden. But why is Leona so angry about Yuu's Choice?
[After The Reveal - Crowley's Office]
The golden glowing eyes of the Headmaster of Night Raven College seemed to have widened behind his ask as he looked at the new body of the Prefect of Ramshackle Dorm, Yuu Arisugawa - who recently found his true identity as Feore Kingscholar, 3rd Prince of the Sunset Savannah.
Yuu's hair was dark brown and shoulder length with white tips on the ends of his hair; it was currently tied in a back ponytail, thanks to Vil tying his hair back for him since Yuu wasn't as used to having long hair but he didn't have time to cut it at the moment. Unlike the genetic Kingscholar Emerald Eyes, Yuu's eyes were Sapphire Blue instead of the Coal Black that Yuu had when he first arrived at Night Raven College. Yuu's bare chest and abs were on full display since his shirt was too small to fit after transforming, but his pants were still on, just tighter than before.
Crowley looked Yuu up and down before realization hit his face; he'd been overworking a Prince like a slave. He inhaled and exhaled before speaking to Yuu.
"Well, Mr. Kingscholar, it would seem that..." Yuu stopped Crowley from speaking for a while.
"I am not a Kingscholar. I am Yuu Arisugawa, not whoever the 3rd Prince of the Sunset Savannah is or was. Nothing about me, other than my appearance has changed. I'm just here because I need some larger clothes that would actually fit me. and where I can get a pen of my own to funnel my magic properly." Yuu said before lowering his hand with a soft glare in his eyes.
"Well... There are some larger uniforms in the closet behind you; as for a possible pen, I would have to send in a request for some blank pens into which you can funnel your magic. I'll send the letter and the pens shall be here within 3 days. Can you use your magic without a pen?" Crowley asked.
"It's possible but I am going to need some practice to better control my magic. I can keep my magi under wraps, however, so you don't have to worry about me lashing out at students and possibly hurting them. See you later, Headmaster." Yuu said as he turned on his heel, walked over to the closet in Crowley's Office, and took some larger Savanaclaw Uniforms; they appeared to be the only ones that would fit him but he could do something about the color later when he arrived at Ramshackle. He hoped that Grim wasn't freaking out at the moment to find out he had the blood of a certain cat the chimera couldn't stand.
Yuu walked out of the Headmaster's and instantly bumped into someone, he looked up to apologize and came face to face with the green eyes of Leona.
"Sorry about that, Leona, I wasn't looking where I was going." Yuu said before tucking the clothes under his arm as Leona looked at him with a tender smile; which is weird since Leona would always look at him with a teasing smirk ever since Yuu arrived at Night Raven College.
"It's alright, Feore. I was just coming to speak to the crow about some business." Leona said.
"Yuu." Yuu said, causing Leona to look at him with a raised eyebrow.
"What?" Leona asked.
"I explained it to Crowley and I shall explain it to you: I am Yuu Arisugawa, not Feore Kingscholar." Yuu said.
"What are you talking about You are Feore Kingscholar, The 3rd Prince of the Sunset Savannah. That's who you were born as." Leona said.
"Yuu Arisugawa is who I have been for the past 16 years and that is who I am going to stay as until the day my heart stops beating. I have no intention of changing my name or who I am just because I found out that I am originally from this world and I happened to be linked to the Kingscholar Family by blood. I need to head back to Ramshackle See you later, Leona." With that, Yuu walked down the hall to reach the Hall of Mirrors to reach Ramshackle, leaving Leona standing there with his fangs locked in anger and his fists balled before turning to Crowley's office and slamming the door once he was inside, startling the Headmaster who looked up to face the very pissed off prince.
"Mr. Kingscholar! What can I...?" He was cut off by Leona slamming his hands on the surface of the desk and glaring into Crowley's Golden eyes with his Emerald Green ones; anger evident in his eyes.
"I want you to start a Dorm Transfer, now! My little brother is coming to Savanaclaw with me and he is going to be my Vice Dorm Warden! I want his identity on all of his paperwork and I.D.s to be changed to his real name and I want him to have access to the Kingscholar Account; I have a letter, send it to my home, and have a card delivered here for Feore!" Leona demanded.
"Hm... Welll... I would love to do that, Mr. Kingsholar, but I cannot do that." Crowley said, making Leona even madder.
"Why?" Leona growled out.
"In order for a transfer between dorms to happen, there are several parties involved: the current dorm warden, the possible future dorm warden, and myself. Mr. Arisugawa has indicated that he is not interested in changing anything about his current situation. He has only come here to acquire larger clothes and place an order for a Magic Pen. Although Mr. Arisugawa holds the title of Prefect, he is still technically the Dorm Warden of Ramshackle. If he has no desire to change his position, there is nothing that I can do about it, even if his older relative requests it." Crowley explained.
"Then do something about it! I want Feore in Svanaclaw as soon as possible and if it doesn't happen sooner rather than later, I shall take matters into my own hands, Crowley. Do not test me." Leona said before removing his hands from the desk and marched out of the room towards the Hall of Mirrors to get to the Old Dormitory.
He needed to speak to Feore himself and make him understand that he was the younger brother and needed his older brother's guidance.
He lost Feore once.
He wasn't gonna let that happen again.
[Ramshackle]
"I have to admit, Trickster; altering the Golden Color of Savanaclaw into that lovely shade of Blue really brings out your eyes." Rook said as he watched Yuu use his magic to change the golden color of the Svanaclaw Outfits to a deep blue that matched his eyes,
Yuu looked at himself in the mirror before exhaling and turning around to face the people in the sitting room of Ramshackle; after everything was said and done, all of the other dorm wardens with the exception of Kalim and Leona, along with some of the Vice Dorm Wardens like Rook and Jamil arrived at Ramshackle to check on the one who helped them for so long.
Upon arriving at Ramshackle, Yuu brewed some tea and made some desserts to entertain his guests while he changed his outfits to his liking. Upon arriving into the room, he could smell Jamil in the kitchen [Yes, there is a kitchen in Ramshackle. Small but Functional], while Riddle and his Dorm Mates were enjoying the tea and desserts that Yuu had prepared for him. Vil walked over to Yuu and ran his fingers through Yuu's long dark brown hair.
"I have to say that long hair suits you better now; I have some lovely hair care products that would best aid you in the upkeep of your lovely hair and skin, First Potato." Vil said.
"I thank you, Vil, however, I shall need your hand in learning how to properly use them." Yuu said before sitting on the couch beside Cater who was on MagiCam while recording himself and Yuu's new appearance, telling everyone at Night Raven College that the 'Prefect got an upgrade'. Yuu pinched the bridge of his nose but smiled nonetheless at the fact his friends still saw him as Yuu Arisugawa, not Feore Kingscholar, the 3rd Prince of the Sunset Savannah, or the Younger Brother of Leona Kingscholar. They still saw him as himself and he thanked the Great Seven for that.
Jamil walked out of the kitchen with a plate of food that was composed of meat and vegetables and placed it in front of Yuu before folding his arms and glaring at the Prefect, "You have too much frozen food in there; you need proper meals in your diet, not just the already made stuff you can buy from Sam's Place."
"I know. I know." Yuu said as he stabbed his fork into some of his salad before lifting it to his mouth; just before he could take his first bite...
There was a massive pounding on the surface of the front door of Ramschakle before Ace went to answer the door, before he could ask who it was, Ace was pushed out of the way and Leona stood there with all eyes on him but his eyes were focused on Yuu.
"Feore. We need to talk. Now."

synopsys: after a bad run you are forced to look for a second job, and you end up covering the first shift at the campus café. every morning you find the same guy waiting for you to open, leaning on the wall, looking flawless, and it gets on your nerves. until one day you see him leaving the dance academy where you teach, getting on the same bus as you. warnings: in this one she's the barista, guys. a part from that, we have mentions of reader not having enough money, lee know with his misterious aura but being a literal sunshine, also he's insecure :(( unusual hopeless romantic minho too, he's a softie (and whipped) reader's insecure too 😔 mentions of overworking and skipping meals. minho saves the day!! let me know if i missed something.
If life as a college student was hard, life as a broke college student in a country completely different from your own was pure hell. You had never let it get to you when you said your dream was to make it as a choreographer in Seoul and everyone laughed in your face, so you certainly weren't going to let anything stand in your way now that you had gotten a chance at Seoul's famous arts university, JYPU. The plane ride had been a challenge, because you kept wondering if you were really doing the right thing, but when you landed and saw you had messages of encouragement from your sister and the few friends you had left in your hometown, their words had filled you with determination.
A couple of years had passed since that moment, and perhaps the circumstances were still not the best, but you were still determined to achieve everything you set your mind to. The language barrier had not been a big problem, because you had learned some Korean while you were in high school, but it had only helped you to find that tiny room you were living in and get hired at the dance studio a couple of blocks away from the faculty. You were earning enough to pay for food, rent, and the materials you needed for class. But when understanding your classmates became a little more complicated, when the language used in the lectures became more technical, you had to pay a personal teacher to help you improve your Korean. And since you didn't have enough money, you were forced to fit a second job into your busy schedule, getting a little bit of extra money to live slightly more comfortably.
A friend of a friend from the Music Production department had recommended you to the owner of the most famous café on campus, and after hearing your story, he had hired you right away. This Chris guy had been very nice, and had taken an interest in your schedule to find the shifts that suited you best, even waiting for you after one of your classes to have lunch with you and talk about everything in peace and quiet. You had never met a boss so concerned about his employees, and he made it much easier to have to get up before dawn to be the one to open the café, because he always left you some candy hidden in your apron pockets or a note encouraging you to start the day with a smile.
However, the first time you had covered the morning shift, the 5.30 am shift, there was a guy waiting at the door. You had arrived, exhausted as you were every day, the laptop and your college books weighing like heavy bricks in the backpack on your shoulders, along with the sports clothes you wore for the afternoon classes. Chris had told you to be there at the normal time and he would show up to explain some of the details and give you the keys. After all, it was your first day. But instead there was a tall, slim guy leaning against the metal grille, his slightly long bangs covering his eyes, though that didn't stop him from scrolling lazily on his phone, headphones hanging around his neck, and looking flawlessly put together. Certainly not how someone should look on any given day at 5:30 in the morning.
You flashed a shy smile as you reached his level and he lifted his head to find out who you were, his sharp cat-like eyes sparkling from the reflection of the light on his phone screen, and you grabbed your own in a hurry to send a message to the cafe owner.
You 5.32am Hi, Chris I already arrived, where are you?
Chris 5.32am Hi, sorry Still in the subway Like... 2 minutes away
You 5.33am Yeah, no worries It's just There's this guy...
Chris 5.34am OMG wait Dark aura, looks like a cat and gave you a dirty look when you showed up?
You 5.35am Yeah, quite accurate
Chris 5.35am Oh, that's Minho Don't mind him, he's inoffensive Most of the time He's there for his morning coffee
You 5.36am Okay, then See you!!
Chris 5.36am 👍🏼
And then he showed up, out of breath, in a hurry, around the street corner, phone still in his hand, unblocked. You smiled unconsciously, trying to ignore Minho's gaze weighing on you while Chris approached, flashing his dimples as he stopped in front of you to catch his breath, breathing some kind of greeting that you responded to with a nod. He pulled out a dinosaur-shaped keychain, a very adorable doodle version, and bent down to unlock the metal grille, pull it up ーgiving a little jump to get it all the way upー and unlatch the lock on the door. Minho hadn't bothered to greet him, you guessed it was a common thing between them, and he didn't look up from his phone screen either, a bored gesture plastered on his face. You followed Chris as he entered the café, leaving your backpack on the counter, and standing awkardly in the middle as he went to switch on the electrical panel.
"Get his coffee ready while I finish up in here," he instructed you, stepping into what you thought was the kitchen, "I'll be right out to help you."
You nodded, grabbing the apron from the rack that already had your name on it, and stood behind the counter, Minho having rested his forearms on the surface, again with the phone in his hands. If he was reading some article or playing some online game it must have been interesting, because except for the few furtive glances he had given you, his eyes had been glued to the screen the whole time. Clearing your throat, making just enough noise to get his attention, you flashed your best customer service smile, "What'll you have?"
"Cappuccino" he mumbled, sitting up and stretching absently, "grande, to go".
You made a small affirmative noise, turning on the coffee machine, and picked up the cup in the size he had asked for, with its respective lid.
"Chris, where's the milk?" you asked, walking into the kitchen, stifling a laugh when you caught him wrestling with the flour, staining his dark blue t-shirt white.
"'Storage room'" he muttered, his ears taking on a reddish hue, "If there isn't any under the counter, Jisung must have forgotten to restock it last night."
You hurried into the kitchen supply room, after grabbing a scoop of coffee powder and put it in the machine to make some espresso, and came out with two packs of milk, setting them down on the floor to place them as soon as Minho left, but grabbing one of the bottles to make the steamed milk and creamer.
It wasn't your first time working as a barista, and not in the hostelry industry either, so really the only thing you had to get used to was the café distribution. Luckily, Chris seemed like a pretty neat guy, so you didn't think it was going to be much of a problem. You set about pouring the milk into the necessary containers to heat it to your liking and get the effect you were looking for, as the coffee dripped into the cup you were using to measure the amount, the chestnut-colored liquid falling, first in drops and then in a small stream of caffeine, flooding the white porcelain.
You mixed it on the counter, in front of Minho, so he could see how you did it, although you hadn't seen him look up from his phone at any moment. Actually, he had been watching you. He always did 一observing his surroundings, that is一, but with you his eyes flashed with curiosity. Chris was known for rescuing stray souls in need of a job, a quality through which he had met most of his friends, and he wanted to find out why a girl like you would have caught his eye, or would need extra money. Usually JYP University students had wealthy parents, and if that wasn't the case, they had at least gotten a temporary job that allowed them to live comfortably. But you had arrived, with your worn converse and patched hoodie, your backpack full of safety pins and big dark shadows under your eyes, screaming to anyone who could see that you didn't quite belong there.
He had wanted to take care of you. It had crossed his mind for an instant to give you a friendly smile, to introduce himself, to ask you about you; he had felt the need to approach you and engage you in a conversation that would allow him to get to know you better. Because as soon as he laid his eyes on you, he knew that despite being two strangers, you were going to be the one who, only with the sweetness of your voice and the kindness of your gaze, would break through all that was and what was remaining of him once you left him, would turn his unleashed fire into a warm hearth. But he wasn't good with words, and you had rushed to grab your phone to busy yourself, watching his chance fade before he could even realize it. It had bothered him how comfortable you seemed to feel with Chris, even though he knew his friend had that effect on people, and how you'd smiled when you'd seen him show up, like he was saving you from someone 一from him.
But at the same time, he had struggled not to curl his lips as he realized how strange you felt in the situation you were in, standing at the entrance of the café, as if waiting for instructions. It wasn't that you were a contradiction, but that you caused him too many dilemmas. Like having to repress that electricity that ran through him the only time you looked into his eyes, when you looked up to check how much his coffee cost and he already had the money in his hand. He had tried not to brush his hand against yours, dropping the coins onto your palm at full speed and picking up his cup, leaving the place, with you still on his mind. He couldn't concentrate in class that day.
Unfortunately, you had no other choice but to focus. The scholarship you had been given depended on your grades, thanks to which you had obtained a place at the university. If you dropped below your grade point average, they would take it away from you, and that was something you couldn't allow. But some thoughts had slipped in your mind about the boy you had met that morning, remembering the shape of his eyes, sharp and rounded at the same time, and his slender figure. You had allowed yourself to smile at the memory of him, even as you hurried to stuff your backpack and boots into the locker at the academy where you worked, your jeans exchanged for a leotard and the most comfortable sweats you had, always arriving a couple of minutes earlier than required so you could get ready.
But even if you wanted to stop thinking about him you couldn't, because soon what you had considered an isolated event became a habit that every day was harder to break. The next morning, after barely five hours of sleep, you got up again, crawling as best you could to the outside of your cramped room, your body trying to feed on the freshness that the shower had left on your skin, your heavy backpack digging into your shoulders. And when you managed to reach the café, the keys tightly clutched in your fist, he was there, again, his long figure leaning against the grille, again, and his gaze fixed on his phone, again.
When he heard you, your stifled pants revealing your presence, he sought your eyes, separating himself from the wall so that you could open. You bent down, sitting back on your heels, to undo the lock on the grille, and accompanied it with your hand as you stood up again, mimicking the hop you'd seen Chris take the day before to get it all the way up. Unfortunately, it only got halfway up, and you felt your cheeks redden with embarrassment, fearing that Minho had seen it. Still you pretended nothing had happened, trying to straighten your shoulders under the weight of the backpack, unlocked the door, leaving it open behind you, and stepped inside.
You repeated the steps that Chris had indicated to you the previous morning, going directly to the electric panel to turn on the power, and then you entered the kitchen, crossing it until you reached the room reserved for the staff, leaving your backpack on one of the chairs, and taking the apron that had your name on it before leaving. You hung it around your neck as you undid your steps, and by the time you got behind the counter Minho was already pinning his catlike gaze on you.
"Grande cappuccino to go?" you asked, your fingers tapping on the surface like a piano in a nervous gesture that Minho found adorable.
He merely nodded, averting his gaze to his phone screen, as if he had somewhere more important or urgent to be and was checking the time to make sure he had enough minutes left to get there. It was a somewhat pretentious gesture on his part, without stopping to think whether it would make you feel better or worse, but he couldn't help it. He was torn between absorbing every detail you could offer him, and trying to delay the moment when you would reject him, when his feelings would be too obvious to be denied. And even if he had mentally chosen the second option, he let his gaze follow you as he performed a graceful dance with the sole purpose of making his coffee.
He had noticed a difference from when Chris made it to when you had made it. Minho didn't know if it was your expert hand or some ingredient you had used to make it, but it tasted slightly sweeter. And since he had tasted it he hadn't been able to stop thinking about what your lips would taste like, if he got to kiss them someday. Minho kept telling himself that it was a silly crush, that the butterflies he felt in his stomach when you handed him his glass were the effect of hunger, of thirst, of any excuse he could think of but the ghost of the feel of your skin on his. Or maybe you were a witch, and had used his cappuccino as a love potion.
However, it didn't matter anymore. If you had wanted to have him trapped in your web, he wasn't going to be the one crying out for help to be rescued. Not when he felt his heart falling off a cliff every time you looked at him, adrenaline racing his pulse, not knowing for sure when it would stop. At least until he handed you the money, turned around and walked out of the café, the bite of the cold winter air bringing him back to reality, leaving behind the pleasant warmth of the place, and also of your smile, which he could still feel in the palm of his hand thanks to the coffee you had made for him.
And meanwhile you watched him walk away, the coins still in your hand, until there was no trace of him left. Then you sighed, coming out of that strange daydream in which you were interacting ーif you could call what you were doing thatー and put the money away, leaving the apron on the counter and taking a chair. Your problem wasn't being short, it was not knowing how to jump high, you decided, as you leaned the chair against the street and looked up, more than willing to climb the grille to the same height Chris had left it the day before.
To your surprise, it was in place, even though you knew perfectly well that you had left it halfway up only five minutes earlier. You shrugged your shoulders and went back inside, leaving your chair in place and hurriedly putting on a black shirt before tying on your apron and starting your day.
The next morning, you went to work with your heart in a fist, expecting to see him leaning against the grille, letting out a small sigh of relief when you saw that he was. You hid the smile that struggled to appear on your lips, and frowned as you looked at him, refusing to let the mere presence of a stranger affect your mood that way.
This time, Minho greeted you with a quick glance and a small nod, a display that made you blush, hiding your reddish cheeks from him as you bent down to lift the grille. You figured that this routine between the two of you would be repeated quite often, since you weren't planning to quit your job and he was going to need his coffee every morning, so you decided to put all your effort into maintaining a cordial relationship with him.
You soon realized that he was the type of person who also got up early on weekends, since you still had to cover your shift and he was still at his usual 5:30 am spot. You had no idea what he was studying ーor even if his major that was the reason he was getting up so early. And it wasn't like you were going to ask Chris either, you didn't know him well enough to figure out if he would tell Minho or not.
In fact, he kept making stupid excuses for why he had to go to your unofficial morning appointments. He told himself you wouldn't have anyone to climb the grille for you. What if the lock on the door got stuck and you couldn't get in? His coffee addiction had nothing to do with it, although he would probably develop one just from drinking so much cappuccino, and if he didn't feel like getting up one day, just the thought of knowing that he would be able to see you before going to class made him wake up instantly.
And somehow he ended up going on the weekends as well. The first Saturday just to see if you were also working those mornings, stuttering his order when he saw that you had already opened and he hadn't been there, but after taking the first sip from his cup he had to sit for a long time on one of the benches in the nearest park, feeling sick at the fixation he had developed with you.
Could he consider it a crush when he tried to look for you with his eyes every time he leaned to wait for you, pretending to use his phone? When he walked through the corridors of his college and thought he recognized your beautiful hair in the crowd, only to end up being a random girl? When his heart stopped for a few moments as soon as he entered the café that morning just because he heard you laugh?
That Sunday he was on the verge of not going. But every minute that passed and it got closer to the time to open the café, his anxiety increased, so he dressed in the first shorts he could find and a shirt he had lying on his bed and decided to go for a run. He wasn't a big fan of doing sports, but he liked the feeling that flooded his body once he finished, exhausted, knowing that it had been worth it. He had jogged towards 5STAR, towards you, ready to drink his morning coffee.
Until that moment the only thing that kept him from murdering anyone who bothered him as soon as he woke up had been the caffeine shot, but he had lately been smiling only thanks to you for a week, and it was much healthier that caffeine. That Sunday you had looked at him, surprise on your face, probably because he had changed his normal outfit for a slightly more revealing one, and you had had to clear your throat before asking if he would have a cappuccino. He had smiled shyly and asked for a pastry to go with his coffee, since he wasn't willing to go running on an empty stomach, and had waited as long as it took while you put the first batch of croissants in the oven.
He had pretended not to notice, too, when you stole glances at him from the kitchen, blushing when he couldn't help himself anymore and made eye contact with you. After all those days he still wondered why you kept asking him if his order was still a cappuccino, when his answer had always been yes, but he would never dare to find out, because hearing your sweet voice was a hell of a lot better than all the alarms on his phone. What he didn't know was that you adored the look on his face, his lips curving slightly and nodding adorably, and that you weren't willing to give that up either.
The mornings went on, each and every one of them with the same repressed interaction, and the same warm feeling in your chest as you said goodbye to each other until the next day, neither of you making the first move. You had grown accustomed to his presence, almost inherent in your morning routine, and he had learned to soften his attitude in front of you, but never without exchanging more than three words in a row.
The first time you said something different, a few weeks later, was when you mustered the courage you needed to thank him for raising the grille for you every morning. At first he had done it slyly, taking advantage of you coming into the kitchen to make a little jump and push it up. Then he hadn't cared if you saw it or not, realizing that if he wanted you to notice him he would have to be a little more obvious. And now he was doing it without any kind of embarrassment, waiting for you to pull it up more or less to your height to take the leap, in front of you.
"Thanks for helping me with the grille" you had whispered, pouring the milk into the glass, while the coffee was being made behind your back.
He had made a nonchalant gesture, as if it wasn't that important, or if he had done it for anyone, and he had seen you smile, embarrassed, but his ears had turned red.
That same day, taking advantage of meeting up at Han's apartment with the group of friends, he followed Chris into the kitchen when he offered to go get more beers and tried to ask some sly question about you. Chris was no fool, evidently, but he let Minho get the information he wanted. It was most adorable to see his gaze light up at the mere mention of your name, or how he drank in the words Chris whispered hurriedly about you, fearful that any of the others would walk unannounced into the kitchen and interrupt them.
You, on the other hand, had begun one of the most difficult periods of the term: when your exams were combined with the recitals of the girls you were teaching, limiting your time even more and drowning you in due dates, subjects to study and two jobs you couldn't afford to loose. You couldn't complain about how lucky you had been to find jobs that matched your preferences, but you did say, without hesitation, that the one at the café was much better than the one at the dance academy. Not only in something as obvious as the salary, but the conditions were nicer with Chris as the boss than with that man who had assumed that because you were a woman and beautiful you would surely be better at teaching ballet and dealing with the little girls.
That was what you had confessed to Han, since his shift was the one after yours, while you took advantage of the brief ten minutes he managed to save for you, arriving earlier than he should have, and you spent by having a coffee. He had nodded, giving you to understand that he was listening to you, while he stored all that information to be able to communicate it later to Minho. All the co-workers you had dealt with had been very nice to you, but Han was your favorite. He compensated for your introversion with witty and funny comments on his part, which made you burst out laughing and the mood relaxed. He always paid attention to everything you said - even if he had hidden intentions to do so - and you had several hobbies in common.
Besides, he was the only one who would talk to you about Minho without having to ask, and even if you pretended to be disinterested, he could see the way you nodded at his words, and your lips tried to avoid curling up at the silly anecdotes in which you were utterly oblivious to this different version of the gentle Minho who said good morning to you. He would brighten up your breakfasts, at least until you realized what time it was and rushed off to avoid missing your morning classes.
Because the classes were also demanding enough. It may not have been as difficult as a science degree, but the exams on music history and dance, along with all the physical sessions and dances you had to prepare for the end of the semester not only tired you mentally, but you would arrive home at night totally exhausted, with just enough energy to take a shower and go to bed. You would also skip a meal or two due to lack of time, resulting in quick snacking whenever you had a second. More than once your belly had growled in the morning, in front of Minho, and you had formulated a quick apology, without even turning around, too embarrassed.
They weren't the best conditions for a healthy life, even less if you were a teenager trying to survive, but it was the only - and best - thing you had. At least you had your mornings at 5STAR, with the opportunity to see Minho every day without fail, and the hours at the academy with your girls, who were immensely fond of you. Seeing their excited faces when you proposed to change the typical play based on the Nutcracker or Swan Lake for an invented version with all the Disney princesses made the two nights you had spent almost without sleep planning the story and the choreography worthwhile. That way everyone would have a starring role, and not just the one who got the main role, which was something you had missed in your childhood, so you were happy too.
One morning, however, when Minho came to your not-date, the café was already open. It wasn't that the fact itself was strange ーyou had sometimes arrived early because you hadn't been able to sleepー but that the grille was all the way up, and you always left it halfway up no matter what time you arrived. When he entered, the door bell ringing behind him, the one who came out to greet him was Changbin, another of his friends, who flashed a mischievous grin at his confused face.
"Looking for your girl?"
"YN is not my girl" he protested, slipping his phone into the pocket of his jeans.
"Ah, but you took it for granted I was talking about her" the boy replied, winking at him, starting to make his coffee.
Minho missed your sleepy voice as you murmured good morning to him, and the graceful way you moved behind the counter, in and out of the kitchen, gathering all the ingredients and utensils you needed to prepare his breakfast, which although varied in pastries, always consisted of a cappuccino. He pulled out his wallet, preparing the coins he always counted out before handing you over, and the movement caught Changbin's attention.
"So you're not going to ask?" he said, rephrasing, still with his back turned.
"You seem to be eager to tell me," he replied, rolling his eyes, "so go ahead."
"Oh, you're no fun" Changbin complained, his face contracting into an adorable pout.
"I didn't mean to be" Minho said, cracking a sarcastic smile.
"You know what, I'm sure you wouldn't have responded to her like that" he muttered, pouring the milk into the cup. "Anyways, I'm sure Han will text you as soon as he finds out, but Chan hyung convinced her to ask for a couple of days off."
"Chan hyung?" Minho couldn't help but frown, not understanding.
"Apparently, YN has been pushing herself more all month" Changbin explained, picking up a cup-sized cap, finishing his friend's order, "and you know how Chan hyung is when he sees someone overworking."
"He gets all protective" summed up the dancer, paying for the drink.
"Exactly" he stated, crossing his arms once Minho had his coffee in his hand, "and she must have been having a really hard time. I guess Chan hyung asked her about her schedule to find out which days would be better for her to rest, and yesterday he asked me if I could cover her shift."
And it had been that way. Just the day Chan had decided to stop by to see how you were doing, he had found you passed out on the kitchen floor. You had made him promise not to tell anyone, and he had sworn to keep his lips sealed, only if you let him make sure you were okay. He had woken up one of the other employees, and then had taken you to his house. You had been somewhat shocked by the seriousness with which he had taken it all, but you had let him do it, rambling about everything you had to do and how little time you had, while he prepared a very nutritious breakfast for you.
"You should quit that job at the academy" he had advised you, his gaze fixed on the chicken frying in the pan.
"I can't" you had protested, whining, "there's less than a week until the Christmas performance. I couldn't let the girls down like that."
"Are you willing to quit after that, though?"
"If I find a better job," you had supposed, shrugging, trying to avoid yawning.
"What if I offer you a double shift at a higher salary?" he had proposed, filling the plates with food and setting them in front of you, reaching for a clean set of chopsticks, "I can even switch you to the afternoon, so you'll get more sleep."
"That's very kind of you, Chris," you had murmured, "but I don't know if it would be a good idea. Or legal, at this rate. You're already paying me more than my fair share."
"You could find a roommate, then" he had continued, not giving up, "I know a guy who..."
"Thank you, really," you had tried again, feeling somewhat uncomfortable at his effusiveness, "but I'd rather sort it out myself."
Chan had looked down, blushing as he realized he had gone too far anyway, and had apologized, leaving you to eat in peace. You couldn't thank him enough for how much it had meant to you that he had accepted you into his house and fed you, but he had more surprises up his sleeve. He had told you that he was going to give you two days off, and also that he knew someone in your class who could get you the notes of what you would be taking that week in the main subjects, so that you could spend the next few days resting. Before saying goodbye, you had given him a big hug, almost crying, and you had returned to your little room, more than ready to faint from exhaustion.
But Minho didn't know that. For him it was the first time you had been absent, and the first notice that you were really that unwell. Not that he hadn't noticed the dark circles under your eyes, but you had always looked so cheerful in front of him in the mornings, with that bright smile that lit up the café when you saw him, that he hadn't realized the real gravity of the situation. And he blamed himself for it, for his lack of attention to detail, for having been so absorbed in his feelings that he hadn't realized your own reality.
That's why the next day he didn't go: it didn't make sense, since he knew you weren't going to be there. And in any case, he wasn't in the mood to get up so early. He didn't go to class either, his mind too absent-minded to attend to three straight hours of long, monotonous explanations. But he didn't miss his daily appointment at the dance academy, one of the few places where he could let himself go, it's physical exertion and music taking him away from all the buzz he had in his head. He would go to practice the dances he had to present in his subjects, but also to memorize choreographies he found on the internet or create his own from scratch.
The mere fact of putting the bottle of water and the change of clothes in his sports bag for later made a slight curve form on his lips, wishing that the subway would move at the speed of light so he could arrive as soon as possible, and nodding as a greeting to one of the owners of the place, who was always sitting at the reception desk, heading straight to the studio he had booked.
That evening Yewon was not in her usual place, but running back and forth, somewhat stressed, having exchanged her usual low heels for ballet slippers.
"Hello, Minho!" she greeted him, waving some papers with a hurried gesture. "You have studio C10, as usual, but I will have to change it tomorrow!"
"What's all the fuss about?" he asked, securing the strap of his bag over his shoulder in a nervous gesture.
"Two of our teachers couldn't make it today, and it was unexpected," she explained, not bothering to use the comfortable office chair to type something quick on the computer. "Jisoo took maternity leave after a little scare with the baby, to be at home and rest. But Jinyoung has finally quit."
"The one who wanted to set up his own academy?"
"That same one," she replied, trying to stifle a complicit laugh. "I'm covering his ballet classes, but I'm short of someone to take over Jisoo's hip hop classes. You wouldn't be willing to volunteer, would you?"
"With kids?" Minho tried not to let his panicked face show too much.
"Yes, but only today," she replied, letting out a melodic laugh. "You can wipe off that scary face, don't worry. My sister is in Jeju, sorting out some family issues, and she'll be back tomorrow. She'll take care of it until Jisoo and her baby are healthy and the happy mom can continue working."
"Huh" he knew he couldn't refuse, not when Yewon had always been so nice to him, even if he was late on one of the months' payments, always greeting him with a smile. But children made him panic. Those little humans who judged you without a filter, always bursting his eardrums with the screams they made, and so wild that they deliberately ignored any orders they received. He realized it sounded like he was describing real demons, but in his experience, it was totally justified. "Right."
Yewon clapped her hands in excitement and led him to one of the studios reserved for afternoon classes. They always put the children in the larger rooms, so they could run around freely. And if you were able to teach ballet for whole afternoons to children, surely it couldn't be too bad for him. After all, he was pretty good at hip hop, and he had a couple of easy choreographies he could teach.
Luckily, the group was small ーfour boys and three girlsー more than willing to learn, half of them with dreams of becoming idols, and all of them with wide eyes watching him dance for the first time. It wasn't the first time people had complimented him, but the fact that eight-year-olds were looking at him with such admiration made him die of embarrassment, and also made it seem much more real than any empty words they could ever give him.
When the time came to an end, he had gotten as much exercise as any other day, had laughed a lot more, and had not been alone, like the vast majority of his afternoons, though unfortunately he had not found a solution to your problem. Yewon left the ballet studio, sweating but smiling, waving goodbye to his students, thanking him again and again after Minho high-fived all his children. It was only after a quick shower that he knew what he should do.
The break had been wonderful for you. You had dedicated yourself to sleeping and eating, without worrying about anything but going to your ballet classes on time, and you were afraid that getting used to it would be easier than breathing. You kept telling yourself that what you were experiencing was a temporary hiatus for a couple of days, something Chris had managed to do but it wouldn't last forever, and that you should be grateful. Although you should also try to figure out what was going to be your life after that, because going on as you were was not an option.
But you were tired of looking for a job and the options getting worse. If the pay was perfect, the schedule was bad for you. If it fit with your classes, it wasn't worth it because it was too far away or the salary wasn't enough. You were definitely going to keep the job at the café, but you also wanted to keep the job at the academy. You were totally lost. Maybe you could stay the same for a couple of months, asking for fewer hours and saving a little more at home. Cut back on showers to the academy bathroom, and try to ration your meals. It could work.
After the established time had passed, you came back. And you were looking forward to it. You got up energized, grabbing a couple of pieces of fruit while you packed your stuff in your backpack, and even noticed it less heavy on the way to the café. When you arrived, you didn't see Minho in his usual place, but since it wasn't the first time either you shrugged your shoulders and opened the grille, leaving it halfway and going in, following the routine that by now, you knew by heart. You busied yourself with the trays of croissants and brownies that some co-worker called Felix was leaving ready on his shift for the next day, waiting for Minho to arrive. You had the milk ready, the coffee powder already in the machine. All you needed was for him to show up to press the button and serve it to him.
Only he didn't show up.
It was the sound of the grille going up that made your heart race, and you left the staff room totally hopeful. But although you expected to see the young man with the mischievous smile and gentle gaze, you found a guy you didn't know at all, looking lost, and a little nervous tic in his hand. You took a big breath of air, forcing a smile, and stood behind the counter.
"Good morning," you murmured. "What will you have?"
"Oh, hi" he said to you, trying to avoid your glance. "I didn't know if it was open yet...".
"Yeah, yeah" you affirmed, the shy curve of your lips reassuring the boy, "don't worry. I usually have a friend of mine come over to help me with the grille, but he's not here yet."
"Then I was right to put it up, wasn't I?" he asked, his fingers still drumming on the surface of the counter.
"Yes, of course," you confirmed, your hands fiddling with the edge of the apron, trying not to let your disappointment at the boy's presence show too much, "thank you. What will you have?"
"A macchiato, please."
Similar to a cappuccino, you thought, unable to get Minho out of your mind. You didn't know why his absence was affecting you so much. You didn't even have that much of a relationship. Outside of your greetings, and small conversations here and there, you didn't interact much else. Even if after all this time you felt you had known him all your life, even if seeing him in the mornings made your day, even if you wished you could spend your whole life mixing espresso with milk if it meant Minho smiled the way he did.
Your shift took forever, each coffee making lasting longer than necessary, and perhaps too short, customers coming and going and none of them being who you expected. You understood that the shock must have been the same for him ーin case his feelings for you were remotely similarー on the days you had been absent, and you feared that he had grown tired. That so many shared mornings would have been for nothing, and yours would have been a relationship by proximity. It wasn't the first time you had maintained such a friendship with people, because you were forced to go to the same place together every day, and not because there was actually any bond.
Maybe he thought you were not coming back, and had decided to look for coffee somewhere else. Maybe you had misinterpreted everything you had experienced, and had taken cordiality for friendship. Maybe nothing of what you felt was reciprocated, and again you had been daydreaming.
Despite all your efforts, you couldn't concentrate on your classes that day. You took the lunch break you had promised Chris, pulling out of your backpack a container of a small salad you had made yourself in the morning and a piece of brownie Han had slipped in when he thought you weren't looking. After retiring to the library for a couple of hours to study you went to the academy, ready to go over the dance with your girls.
You wore your leotard under your jeans, so, as usual, you only had to put on your sweatpants and ballet slippers, locking yourself in the studio half an hour early to dance by yourself for a while, and at five o'clock, letting it fill up with energetic and joyful girls, ready to become their favorite Disney princess for a few hours. You always had a great time, and in your heart it made up for everything it meant in your private life.
After the shower, as you were coming out of the changing room with your hair still slightly damp but back in your normal clothes, your backpack slung over your shoulder, walking down the hallway towards the lobby, you stopped when you heard Minho's voice. You couldn't make out what he was saying, but you could hear the angry voice of your boss, and you peeked your head around the corner, trying to see without being seen, in time to see your boss hit the table lightly and Minho frown in an annoyed gesture, turning around.
You hurried out, ignoring the exclamations of your boss calling you, and followed Minho. He was carrying a cup of coffee that wasn't from 5STAR, and for a moment you feared it was over altogether. That he had found somewhere else to buy his cappuccino. That maybe your friendship had broken down without you realizing it. That it didn't mattered if you thought you didn't care if it never evolved into something more ーsomething you longed forー, you were content with whatever it was that you had. You noticed also the jacket he was wearing, the logo of a dance academy that wasn't yours drawn on his back, and tried to match his long steps to reach his pace.
He was heading in the direction of the bus stop where you usually caught the one that dropped you off near where you lived, and you got on after him, sitting down next to him, still frowning.
"YN?" he mumbled, taking off one of his earbuds so he could talk to you, turning his body slightly to try to face you.
"What were you doing talking to Mr. Kang?"
"Huh?" he asked, as if he hadn't understood anything you had said.
"I've never seen you outside the café before," you told him, propping your backpack between your feet, "and just the day you don't come in the morning I see you in the afternoon at my academy, when you don't even come here."
"Well... It has an explanation" he tried to defend himself, his ears turning red. "Han had said... Ehem, since you didn't come to work these days... I..."
"I was resting" you told him, leaning your back against the backrest, "I had been having some complicated days, and Chris has recommended me to change jobs, but I don't know..."
"I know" he interrupted you, "I know. That's why I was talking to your boss."
"What?"
"He told me that next week is the performance you've been working on for the past few months" he summarized, avoiding looking at you, not feeling ready to find out if he had taken too much of a risk or not. "I wanted him to make your work conditions better, and maybe I told him that the academy I go to they have an opening for a ballet teacher so he should watch out how he treats you. They pay like a normal job, not a part-time one, and the schedule is the same."
"Really?" you stifled a cry of excitement, covering your mouth with your hand, "Oh my God it's perfect! It's literally the miracle I was waiting for! I'm so happy I could..."
"You could...?" he repeated, urging you to finish the sentence.
But you couldn't finish it. You didn't know if you should. It would be crazy, in fact.
"Whatever," you solved, seeking to change the subject, "it doesn't even have to do with dancing."
"And what does it have to do with?"
You cleared your throat, mumbling an answer you knew he couldn't hear, too embarrassed to let it sink in, hoping he had heard it, and also hoping the opposite at the same time.
"With you" you repeated, this time louder, looking into his eyes when he asked you to say it again.
"With me?" he breathed, his heartbeat increasing its speed, roaming his gaze all over your features.
"Yeah" the worst thing it could happen was that he rejected you, and he never came againg to the café. And you already thought that was what had happened, so there was no point in not trying it. "I was going to say that I'm so happy I could kiss you right now".
"Kiss me?" unable to think straight, he was only repeating what you voiced, watching your lips moving and your cheeks slightly blushed.
You flashed a bright smile and caressed his cheekbone, the pad of your finger gentle and soft against his skin, and his breath got caught in his throat, swallowing hard, and confirming your crazy theory of him liking you back. He tried to touch you the same way, his hand twitching with anticipation, but it fell to his lap when you kissed him, his eyes closing down immediately to focus on the way your lips moved over his, lazy, slowly, enjoying every single second.
Minho knew that he had fell first, and harder, and then he had waited patiently for you to reciprocate his feelings. And when you did, you understood that his heart was so full of love and adoration you couldn’t stop yourself to love him in the same deep, absolute and fathomless intensity.

this has been a thought in my mind forever, but can we get a modern mizu x reader who is getting bullied or made fun of at college or whatever. rumors are spread about the reader at parties, and in general the reader is having a tough time dealing with all of the false rumors or like bullying, and mizu just FLIPS and puts matters into her own hands? :3 (if you dont write modern mizu, thats okay, i just thought this would be a fun idea getting to see a protective mizu)
Anon, thank you for this request! I genuinely had such fun doing it, and had so many ideas that I tried to capture as many as I could (so it might be a bit over the place- sorry 😬). And I in fact do write modern Mizu!
The dynamic I was going for was Nana and Hachi (from Nana- if you know them ily)- and just kinda rolled with it. I also tried to use Y/N instead of reader or ‘you’, and I think I prefer it, however am open to feedback.
Also, again, Requests are open!
Enjoy!!
Word count: 3229 words
Warnings: Bullying, rumors, drama, I’m not sure what else to warn about
“I heard that she’ll sleep with anyone who offers themselves to her”
“No, really? Well, I guess when you look like that, you get desperate for attention..”
No one besides Y/N was really sure how the rumors had started. It was as if over night, the quiet, sensitive Y/N that everyone knew was erased and replaced with a much more sinister outlook on her.
“She never struck me for the type, not with her non-existent social life-”
“I wouldn't be too sure. She doesn't associate with people on campus, but have you seen her at the parties recently? There has to be some merit to the rumors with the way she dresses.”
But Y/N could pinpoint the exact moment they had started. It started with Y/N and Mizu meeting.
Campus was huge, and completely new to Y/N, who was still trying to find her way around. Y/N was a transfer student completing her bachelors after transferring from a community college in her area. To make matters worse for the already social awkward Y/N, she came in during spring semester- the middle of the academic year. By then, new students and transfers from fall had already formed their social groups, and that left Y/N to once again, be outcasted.
However, Y/N had already made a promise to herself that she would find friends and go out more often. And so when she heard of a Valentines day party that one of the Sororities on campus was hosting for students in her year, she decided she would go. Worst case scenario would be that she left if the vibe wasn't for her.
And so the fateful evening came and Y/N found herself getting ready for the party. That was how she had met Mizu. Y/N could still remember the sight of her. She had walked into the small, cramped house that was blaring with music. She couldn't walk two steps without bumping into someone, and couldn't hear her own feet hit the floor. It was a change from her usual solitude and quietness, and becoming dizzy with all the movement and sound, Y/N made a beeline for the nearest door leading outside, which happened to be to the backyard. In the backyard, the music from inside was muffled to a tolerable noise level, and Y/N took a deep breath in and out. And then, as if by some magic, she looked up and there she was, with a red solo cup in one hand, her hair in a half up and half down style that perfectly framed her sharp features, and the bluest eyes that Y/N had ever seen. Mizu drew Y/N to her with just a single glance, and call it fate, but Y/N (for the first time in her life) had the courage to go and introduce herself to the loner who stood at the edge of some makeshift garden.
After some talking and discovering that despite Mizu being a year ahead of Y/N, they both were studying the same major. They quickly exchanged phone numbers, and when Y/N woke up the next morning, Mizu had texted her asking if she would like to grab lunch. After having lunch, time seemed to pass quickly. Summer came, and they spent it together at one of mizu’s friends family summer home (His name was Ringo, if Y/N remembered correctly). Just them and the beach. There were times when they would both dive in the water, with Mizu going underwater and staying there long enough that Y/N would panic and wonder if she drowned. Luckily, that never happened and Mizu would emerge just as Y/N would dunk her head underwater to check for her.
And the fall came, and the happy times just… ended. The leaves turned brown, the flowers started to wilt and die off and Mizu’s schedule was packed fall semester with classes that she needed to take.Aside from the occasional meet up, they mostly conversed through text. Still, Y/N looked on the bright side and smiled when she would receive a text from Mizu. That was always the best part of her day. When she would receive the text messages that asked things like “did you eat today?” “Have you done your homework or are you procrastinating again?” and the rare “I miss you” text, Y/N would giggle and kick her feet, as if it was her lover asking her these things and not her best friend. She was sure, if Mizu had asked her to follow her to the ends of the world, Y/N would have. Is this how having a first love felt?
—-
The rumors made their way through campus, particularly though Y/N’s class and her major. It had started after Y/N had received a text messages in the middle of one of her classes from Mizu, asking if she was out of class yet. Y/N quickly responded back that she had 5 more minutes but before she could send that text, she heard a voice whisper something.
“Who is so important for her to be texting in the middle of class?” Y/N ignored it, as the person who whispered it didn't need to know and she hit send.
At the end of class, before Y/N could stand up to leave, she was confronted with the girl who had whispered wondering why Y/N was texting, and a few of her friends.
“Its rude to text during a lecture. What could be so important that it couldn't wait?”
Another one pipped up “What do you have a boyfriend or something?”
“Who im dating is none of your concern.” Y/N should have just said sorry and left it at that, but after hanging out with Mizu, she had found a new confidence in herself.
“So you were texting your boyfriend?”
“Thats rude to make assumptions-” Y/N started but was quickly cut off before she could get another word in.
“Oh so it was a hookup then? Never took you for the type.”
“I wasn't-” Y/N was cut off again
“How pathetic- so desperate that you have to text in class.” And finally, after the last berate and Y/N refusing to say anything, they all left, leaving Y/N to breath out a shaky sigh and stand up on her shaking legs.
After that day, Y/N received texts from unknown numbers asking her to hook up. She ignored them, playing it off as a prank, but then rumors started to go around campus, and those were harder to ignore. Y/N wont like and say that it was easy to ignore them, but she had been bullied for almost all of middle school and throughout high school, so she had thicker skin. However, what she wasn't expecting was a text. A week after the initial spread of the rumors, Y/N received a ominous text from Mizu:
‘we need to meet up.’
Y/N stared at the text for a good 10 minutes, thinking of how to respond. Should she deny the rumors? What if the reason why Mizu wanted to meet up wasn't because of the rumors but was to catch up? That would be self-centered of Y/N to think that Mizu wanted to meet up because of the rumors. But then why else when they hadn't seen each other for weeks? It had to be about the rumors going around.
This couldn't be happening to her. The only good thing in Y/N’s life ws Mizu, she couldn't lose her too. So with shaking hands, she typed as quickly as she could.
Y/N🌸:
‘Ok, how about we meet at luna’s?’
Mizu 🌊:
‘Does tomorrow morning- 10am work for you?’
Y/N🌸:
‘Yeah! Sounds perfect.’
Y/N shut off her phone before she got the urge to write anything else. She flopped onto her bed, and buried her head into her pillow. She hoped that this meeting with Mizu would clear the air and wouldn't break their friendship apart.
——
Y/N had arrived 15 minutes early at where they were supposed to meet- a tiny coffee shop near campus that they would go to in the spring. She decided she would get in line and order both of their usuals. When both drinks came out, Y/N sat down at an empty table and waited. The wait was horrible, though she knows that she was the one who decided to arrive early, and really she would only need to wait a few more minutes. And at exactly 9:58am, Y/N looked up and saw her.
“Hey Mizu,” Y/N waved the blue-eyed girl down from where she sat. Mizu took notice of Y/N and made her way over to the table, a small smile on her face. She had her hair up in a bun and wore casual attire, which somehow she looked even better in.
“Hey Y/N- how have you been?” The question was definitely loaded and Y/N wasn't sure how to respond to it. Y/N could feel Mizu’s eyes scanning her face, waiting for some sort of reaction or sure sign. Y/N shrugged her shoulders casually.
“I've been…. Well.” She said hesitantly, and then looked up into Mizus eyes. Judging by Mizu’s glare, she did not buy that. “Actually, it’s been a bit… rough lately…”
“I bet… I’ve heard what’s been going on…” her voice was calm. There was no ill will or anger mixed in her voice.
“How??” Y/N asked as concern reached her voice. Bad scenes ran through Y/N’s head just imagining how Mizu reacted when she found out. It would be even worse if it was the mean girls and her friends who told Mizu directly.
“I overheard Taigen saying something about it…” she closed her eyes and sighed in frustration. Y/N looked down and started fidgeting her her own fingers. “Do you have anything you wanna say or add?”
“The rumors… the- they aren't true. I would never…” she stopped to compose herself before continuing “Whats being said isnt a reflection of my character. I would never do any of the things that anyone is saying.”
“It doesn't matter, thats your own personal business Y/N, and you don't have to defend yourself.” She reached her hands out to calm Y/N as she could see her friend getting worked up. Mizu had meant well with her words. She had meant to phrase it as if there was nothing wrong even if the rumors were true, but Y/N shook her head fiercely as if objecting to her statement.
“It does matter for me!” Mizu’s eyes widened at the sudden voice raise from Y/N. She had never seen Y/N so angry about anything, and it worried her. “ I care about how you think of me… and right now, all I've been hearing is how I'm some slut making her way through the campus…I don't want you to see me like that, because thats not me. I want you to know the real me.” she paused. She could feel the tears in the corner of her eyes and hated the way that no matter how many times she blinked, they wouldn't go away. She took a deep breath in before finally saying “And I just want to know one person actually believes me… I’m so tired of being told what I am and what I’m not…”
“I believe you.” Mizu firmly said after thinking for a minute.
“Y-you do?” Y/N asked, hesitant at Mizu’s answer.
“I do. Over the past few months that we’ve talked, I never took you for the type. And I like to think I'm able to read a person very well. Regardless of what anyone else says about you, I like you…” Her words rang in Y/Ns head. They were warm and truthful and honestly, it made majority of Y/N’s fears disappear. Still- Y/N stared at Mizu in shock, not sure how to respond. The way Mizu stared at her with a small smile of reassurance and the gentleness of the hand that was placed atop of hers made this feel like a more intimate moment than it originally was. Then a cough erupted from Mizu-
“I mean- I like hanging out with you and you are really cool…” she placed a hand behind her head, a little bit of an awkward pose, and Y/N giggled responding back
“I like you too.” With that, Mizu sighed out and felt reassured by the pat of Y/N's hand on the back of her own. She had never been good with affection…
“So.. Now I guess we should start talking about how to solve this situation…” Mizu prompts, and Y/N raises an eyebrow.
“Solve it? How do we do that?” Y/N asked. She had tried to ignore it and that hadn’t worked, and Y/N standing up for herself made her worry that she would be bullied and targeted even more.
“Well, there are many ways we can do that, however it all depends on who started this and why? Do you know anyone who isn't particularly keen towards you? Anyone who would want to damage you reputation?” Mizu started tapping her fingers on the table, and Y/N shrunk her shoulders in embarrassment.
And so Y/N explained it. She started from the beginning, of how she had received a text (she left out that it was mizu’s text that started this), and how some of the girls in her class had made it their priority to ruin her reputation within their field of work all because Y/N had tried to stand up for herself.
There is a quiet that hangs in the air as the tap of Mizu’s finger stops. That instills more fear in Y/N than anything that Mizu could have said to her, as the blue eyed woman just stares at her intently. And then, as if in slow motion, Y/N sees it register in Mizu’s eyes what to do, and she starts babbling, saying anything she can to talk Mizu out of whatever she had planned.
“I-its not that big of a deal Mizu, Im a big girl and can handle myself- Besides i've heard much worse sa-” But before Y/N can ramble anymore, Mizu lays a gentle hand over her mouth. Not hard enough to truly silence her, but close enough that Y/N gets the hint and stops mid-sentence.
“Shut it. Nothing you say or do will change my mind.” Yeah, Y/N knew that. Knew better than anyone that when Mizu is set in her ways, she bends others to her will to achieve her goals. And so, there was really nothing that Y/N could do to change her mind, but even then, that was a hard pill to swallow.
“So… what are you planning on doing now?” Y/N asked, after Mizu removed her hand.
“Hmm. You'll see.” She shrugged as she stood up, gathering not only her things, but Y/N’s as well, and throwing it over her shoulder.
“I don't like the way that sounds… Also- where are you taking my things???” Y/N stood as well and stared incredulously at Mizu’s back as she walked away.
“We are going to go get dinner- my treat.” Y/N couldn't argue with that, and if she did, there is no doubt Mizu would walk away with her belongings and leave her without a computer or her textbook, so Y/N followed. She couldn't stay mad though, dinner was good and it tasted better knowing Mizu believed her and still wanted to see her.
—------
The next day, Y/N attended class, with her head down low, and trying to be as noticeable as possible, though that proved harder than she thought. Throughout the class she could hear students whispering about her. She couldn't make out exactly what they were saying but she knew what they were talking about. As the class wrapped up and the first student left, a familiar figure walked through the door and made a straight line towards Y/N.
“Mizu?” The shock of seeing the woman here had Y/N speechless “How did you know that I have this class today? And that I get out at this time?” Y/N asked Mizu, as Mizu picked up her bag for her. This was becoming a regular occurrence and Y/N wasn't sure weather she liked it or made her worry for Mizu’s back (especially with all the books she carries).
“That one day we were texting and you said you got out in 5 minutes? I made it a point to remember your schedule after that day.” Y/N blushed, and just gave a small ‘thank you’. Before either of them could get away though, they were both stopped.
“Hold it right there-” Mizu turned around, murder on her face, and Y/N shivered. She had to make a mental note to never get on Mizu’s bad side. And as she turned to look at who had stopped them, the fear she had of Mizu vanished and a cold ran through her.
It was her… the one who had started the rumors about Y/N and put her in this place in the first place. She felt so many emotions, mainly ranging from anger to sadness. Mizu on the other hand, just saw red.
“So what? Are you dating now too? I didn't know that Y/N slept around with both guys and girls-” Her high pitch voice rang in Y/N’s ears, and she felt her ears go red at the question and just the thought of it. However, Mizu’s face showed no indicator that the question had affected her at all. In fact, she gave a sly grin, and before Y/N could answer the question for the both of them, Mizu responded.
“Sure we are. Actually- Im the boyfriend that is being referred to…” The girl widened her eyes, as if not believing what she was hearing. Actually, Y/N was quite sure that a majority of the class who had not left were now focusing on their conversation after hearing Mizu publicly announce her affiliation with Y/N. Not only her affiliation- BUT THAT THEY WERE DATING?! “Not that that should matter to anyone else, especially not garbage like you.” A few gasps emerged from the students. No one dared to defend the girl against Mizu. And in a swift fashion, Mizu reached an arm around Y/N’s waist and brought her closer. “And I can assure you, that whatever rumors are flying around are false-”
Before anyone could argue against Mizu, Mizu was practically dragging Y/N away.
‘M-mizu?!” Y/N whispered as they both walked away, Mizu’s hand pressed on her back feeling heavier and more prominent than it probably was. This would surely gain the attention of not only the students in her class but now the upper class, now that Mizu was involved.
The only response that Y/N received was a barely an explanation: “If they want something to talk about, we’ll both give them something to talk about.”

Hello reader, this was honestly a hot mess- and definetly not grammatically correct. Still, hope I got the general idea of this across!

What are some of your First Year headcanons for TWST?
Ohmygod, I am sooooo sorry this took so long. It was way harder than I thought it would be to corral all my ideas together, but FINALLY, here it is. I hope this is good enough lol.
Hooooooo boy. The amount of brainrot I’ve had for these little guys is unreal, even during the times when I wasn’t that into TWST. But honestly, I don’t really have a whole lot to say — not that much of a “headcanons” person, myself. And a lot of what I do have to say has already been said in my fics. But I’m going to do my best here…
Ace Trappola
Because of the whole Book One fiasco, there are a lot of… things, let’s say, that Ace has absolutely fought tooth-and-nail to keep from his seniors; injuries sustained from stupid stunts, fights, bad grades, etc. It’s sort of like he’s doing whatever he can to avoid getting collared, despite knowing, logically, he probably isn’t going to.
Basically, Ace is the definition of a kid whose parents were strict, so he learned to be sneaky.
He’s actually a really snappy dresser, and not half-bad at doing makeup. He probably would’ve been in Pomefiore if it weren’t for his lackadaisical views on hard work. Meanwhile, while he’s not a strict person by any means, his stubborn, relentless attitude about his own twisted morals is what got him into Heartslabyul.
Out of all the upperclassmen, Ace feels the closest to Floyd… surprisingly. Jamil used to be a close second, but after the winter break fiasco, he’s since been replaced by Cater.
With Floyd, Ace can mostly chalk up the underwater museum incident to Yuu’s own meddling. With Jamil, it’s a little… less certain.
Before coming to Night Raven College, Ace’s nervous habit was to scratch the back of his head. After coming to Night Raven College, it was to rub the back of his neck.
Not really related to Ace, but I always headcanoned that his older brother was twisted from the Ringmaster from “Dumbo (1941)”.
Deuce Spade
Surprisingly, there are a lot of things Deuce also tries to hide from his upperclassmen. He hates himself everytime he does it, but it’s better than bothering them every time he loses his temper and they have to sign him out of the infirmary.
Deuce has scars on his knuckles from his delinquent days.
Deuce’s main job at an Unbirthday Party is to move the tables and chairs.
The Dark Mirror briefly considered Deuce for Savanaclaw due to his strength and his instinct to hit a problem until it got out of his way, but his self-imposed pressure to be an honor student landed him in Hearstlabyul instead.
Out of all the upperclassmen, Deuce feels the closest to Silver.
Having a mommy/daddy complex will do that to you.
He likes to put oyster sauce on his tarts now — not because he particularly likes the taste, but because it makes him feel warm inside. (Tell Ace, and you’re dead.)
Deuce is actually really good at croquet for some inexplicable reason.
Jack Howl
Whenever Jack needs to leave Savanaclaw outside of school hours, he just leaves without telling anybody.
At the beginning of the year, he used to actually scrawl a shitty note saying "I'm leaving" everytime he needed to leave, but rarely did people ever actually find it by the time he got back.
After everything that happened in Book 2 and Book 3, it's obvious to him that Ruggie and Leona really don't care enough, so he stopped leaving notes.
For the briefest of moments, Jack was considered for Heartslabyul by the Dark Mirror for his inflexible moral code. However, his steadfastness in the face of overwhelming odds landed him in Savanaclaw.
They grow nighthowlers in the Botanical Garden. They look exactly like blueberries. Not related to Jack (yet), but I thought it was important to mention.
Besides Vil, Jack feels the closest to Riddle in terms of upperclassmen.
He really does like Ruggie and Leona, but that’s… a lot to unpack, at best.
He and Epel regularly get into fights over whether pears or apples are better, even in situations where neither pears or apples are involved.
Professor Crewel, especially, is very exasperated with them.
For absolutely no real reason whatsoever, Jack has the entirety of the “Shaftlands’ Etiquette Manual for Youngsters (Ages 14—18)” memorized.
Not related to Jack, but I always headcanoned his young sister as being twisted off of Bolt from “Bolt (2008)” and his younger brother as being based off the Sheriff of Nottingham from “Robin Hood (1973)”.
Epel Felmier
Epel is a transgender male. Just wanted to get that out of the way.
Epel does actually like macarons — strawberry-flavored ones are his favorite.
Epel does still get into a lot of fights around school, but he’s gotten better at hiding the evidence. Employing a trick he learned from Vil, he hides the bulk of his injuries using his clothes and makeup.
More often than he’d like to admit, Epel accidentally refers to Vil and Rook as his “parents” in his essays. Luckily, Professor Trein still gives him full credit, and he doesn’t comment.
He does the same thing when he’s talking about them to the other freshmen. They don’t stop him because a) it’s sweet, and b) it’s funny.
Once, Epel vented to Riddle about Vil, and accidentally referred to him as his “Ma” the whole time. By the end of it, Riddle looked very, very, very concerned.
Out of all the upperclassmen, Epel feels the closest to Leona.
Epel had no chances of ending up in Savanaclaw, but with the Dark Mirror sensing great magical power emanating from him, he very nearly ended up in Diasomnia. However, because he hadn’t developed his ultra-mega-powerful Signature Spell yet, it ended up diverting him into Pomefiore. Sorry, bud.
Am I only saying this because Epel is actually twisted off of a magic object, unlike the other characters? Yes, yes I am.
Ortho Shroud
He’s twisted from Hercules, don’t freaking @ me.
Ortho has a few issues with looking into mirrors, especially since he looks so much like OG!Ortho.
Ortho has a few attachment issues, as a result of being an extrovert trapped in an introvert’s bubble for most of his life.
The first-years completely and absolutely baby him, no questions asked.
It’s so bad that even if Ortho is completely at fault for something, they’ll take his side anyway.
Honestly, as much as I love this little guy, I really don’t have much to say about him…
Sebek Zigvolt
Suffers from severe attachment issues, for about the same reason as Ortho — being “too much” emotionally, and surrounded by people who put in the emotional bare minimum.
Silver is kind of an exception, but he’s so stone-faced, it also kind of doesn’t make a difference.
Has definitely called Trey “Father” more often than he’d like to admit. Trey thinks it’s funny, meanwhile Sebek is just straight-up mortified everytime.
Out of all the freshmen, Sebek actually feels the least close to the upperclassmen. But if I had to say which one he feels the closest to, even if it wouldn’t be saying much at all, it would have to be Silver.
While Sebek’s favorite food is salmon carpaccio, his (closeted) second-favorite is his dad’s homemade yogurt.
Am I projecting? Yes. I love my dad, sue me.
Sebek was actually way more comfortable with his human side than he was with his fae side when he was a kid, but because Briar Valley, that didn’t last too long.
Back in Briar Valley, Silver could usually go out by himself and not be bothered—mostly because he was General Vanrouge’s son and Malleus’s sort-of brother. Sebek, unfortunately, did not have that luxury.
The Dark Mirror considered Sebek for Ignihyde because of his never-ending diligence when it came to protecting Malleus and the other people he cared about. However, once it became extremely obvious that Sebek didn’t know how to turn down the volume on his own phone, it put him in Diasomnia.
Honestly, though, I think Sebek and Ortho would’ve both been better off if he HAD been sorted into Ignihyde.
Not related to Sebek, but I headcanon his older brother as being based on Tick-Tock the Crocodile from “Peter Pan (1953)” and his older sister as being twisted from Louis from “The Princess and the Frog (2009)”.
Yes, I know Louis is technically an ALLIGATOR, but shhhh. Lemme have this.
If it makes you feel better, though, I also headcanon their father as being from Port o’Bliss (the same place Sam is from), so through the power of genetics, it kind of works out.
Okay, I think that’s everything. I considered adding Yuu in here, but then again, anything we know about Yuu is mostly headcanons, so I don’t think it counts lol.
Thank you SO MUCH for your patience, and I hope my headcanons didn’t bore you, I know they’re kind of mundane lol.

My Inner Sins is an interactive fiction game series being made with SugarCube (previously Harlow) on Twine. It has an urban supernatural theme where you will discover things about yourself, your family, and maybe even the hidden truth about your town. In this tale, you will meet new people, but beware; you don't know who you can trust or who has a knife to your back.
☛ Content Warning: My Inner Sins is an interactive fiction game for players 16 and older that focuses mostly on NPC interactions and character growth. It will feature violent scenes, sexual themes, mental illness, suicidal thoughts, and strong language and is meant for older audiences.
☛ About the Author: Hello, I go by Florence (she/her), and this is my first interactive fiction; however, this world has been in my mind since I was thirteen and watched Twilight for the first time. I plan for this to be a three-book series; however, I am a full-time college student. If you want to support me, then please send me words of encouragement via Tumblr or Itch.io. I want to make a series out of this story and the characters I created, but I want to make sure people enjoy this world and this story as much as I do.
Four new people end up coming into town, and while that might be a little strange for the small town of Lockwood, Massachusetts, they seem to be keeping a watchful eye on you. But why should that matter? You have other things to worry about, like the feeling that you are being watched....
But everyone is welcome in Lockwood.....
Simple. Those were the words that once described your life, and you would’ve nodded your head in agreement. Your day was a never-ending cycle of the same thing. Wake up, go to work downstairs at your Aunt Zinnia's tea shop, try not to fall asleep at the cash register, sneak yourself a few muffins, go to sleep, have weird nightmares, and repeat for another day. So, it would be an understatement to say that you didn’t expect your life to be turned upside down by demons.
While most normal family secrets are mediocre or maybe a bit surprising, those of your family, the Oleanders, are mind-blowing. You find out that your family is best known for being monster hunters, or were until your mom fell in love with a demon, making you not only have the most profound hunter blood through your veins but also make you a cambion, a half-human, half-demon spawn.
Now, with an ancient evil coming after you, you have demons coming back to the mortal plane once again after already dying to guard you. Will you dive headfirst into this supernatural world, or will you crumble under the pressure this new world puts on your shoulders?

you are always my life (1/??)
A few years after post-game. Established relationship. GN!reader. Unspecified home region, so up to you wherever you’re from! Summary: Not long after you return to your present-day world, Volo shows up, too. (Various shorts about domestic, modern-day moments with Volo. Probably will continue more of these at some point!)
clothes shopping – (day one.)
One of the first things that you decided when it had finally, totally, completely sunk in that Volo had also made it to the present day, was that he desperately needed new clothes.
He couldn’t be walking around in a kimono during winter. The weather had just started turning icy. Besides that, it was clear from the moment he’d appeared beside you that people were unfortunately intrigued by him. You had too many thoughts about why, although you tried to disregard them. It was hard to neglect just how attractive Volo was though, and that he stood quite obviously a head above most others. You’d also lent him an overcoat so that he could accompany you outdoors, but it didn’t fit him properly, and that only worsened the staring.
Then, there were the comments as well.
A group of college students passing by spent much too long gaping at Volo. You even heard one of them ask if he was some kind of cosplayer. Another was raising their phone for a photo, and that was when you tugged Volo away.
If you weren’t in such a rush to find suitable clothes so your lover wouldn’t freeze, you might’ve turned back around and snapped at them, but you had more important things on your mind. Like how you’d just been reminded that Volo would probably need a phone, too.
“Ho-oh’s tailfeathers,” you mumbled the curse under your breath.
Tightening your grip on Volo’s hand, you leaned in closer to him and ignored how he blinked back at the students in unabashed confusion.
“I will say,” Volo began as he threaded his fingers through yours, “I’m quite curious to know what a ‘cosplayer’ is.”
You were too busy watching the crosswalk light to humor him, however. “See? This is a crosswalk light. When it’s red, that means we can’t cross, but when it turns green, it means we can go. The flashing numbers mean how long we have before we can’t cross again.”
Volo nodded, keeping pace with you as you hurried down the street. There were plenty of things he didn’t yet understand about your modern world, but he was doing his best to remember all of them, at least.
“Oh, and,” you said with a start, when you made it to the other side, “I’ll explain what a cosplayer is some other time.”
“Perhaps it’s not something you need to worry about at all,” answered Volo immediately, his brows furrowing. He’d noticed that you were on-edge. It was obvious that his presence was concerning you to the point where you were stressing yourself out.
You shook your head. A knowing smile flitted onto your lips, despite how anxious you seemed. “Everything about you—whatever’s on your mind, whatever you want—that’s all I think about. You’re bound to have more questions anyway, aren’t you?”
“Well, yes, but—”
“We all know what happens when you have unanswered questions,” you laughed shortly, some amount of your anxiety melting away when you saw him huff and roll his eye at you.
“You’re quite unfair, my love.”
“And you’re not?”
However, you were unprepared for the smirk he gave you then, followed by the swift peck to your forehead.
Volo chuckled at your startled reaction. “Hm, I suppose I am.”
“I’ll get you for that one,” you promised him as you harrumphed. “But later.”
Without waiting for him to reply (you did hear him laugh), you headed into the department store. There was still plenty for you to do, after all.
The doors whirred shut behind the both of you. The warmth of the heater at the entrance was certainly welcome, and instinctively, you gathered Volo’s cold hand between yours, rubbing it slowly. He’d been preoccupied with the splendor of the building, but noticing what you were doing, he turned to you, a gentle smile on his face. Looking at him with a similar, tender expression, you left a kiss upon his fingertips, then dropped your linked hands back to your side.
Volo squeezed your hand. You squeezed his in reply.
Then, squaring your shoulders as if you’d just received a much needed burst of energy, you announced, “Okay. Let’s get you some new clothes.”
While you rode the escalator up a few floors, you explained what the machine was, what to expect when buying clothes, and that you were lucky you were visiting during early afternoon on a weekday. Fewer people were about, and you didn’t have to deal with fighting crowds of shoppers like on weekends.
Volo seemed amused by your final point, especially after you’d likened it to the days when Anthe released a new line of clothes. It was a bit nostalgic though, to think of the time now past you both, but Volo was just glad that you were with him now.
He was pondering the memory, nearly lost in his own musings, until you told him that you’d reached the boutique floor.
With another word of encouragement, you smiled at him again—really, all Volo needed was you, and oh, your smile, how that made him practically forget where he was—and walked toward the storefront.
An employee, dressed in a trimmed suit, bowed and greeted you both as you approached. However, when he straightened upright again, you saw his eyes widen, and one of his hands nearly lifted to cover his face.
“Oh my goodness,” he said, shocked, whether by Volo’s mismatched clothes or the fact that he was alarmingly handsome, you didn’t know.
Hesitantly, you waved at him before urging Volo inside the boutique. You wanted to pretend as if you hadn’t really been there at all.
After sequestering yourselves at the back of the store, you finally breathed a sigh of relief. Maybe the staff had deduced you could manage without any of their help, as they left you alone where you were. It was better if you avoided any questions, even those unspoken, and simply focused on Volo.
He was still holding your hand. He was also regarding you with a mixture of worry and kindness, so much so that your heart trembled.
You looked away, feeling an inexplicable nervousness, as if you were once again surreptitiously harboring a crush on the man.
“If you see something you like, just let me know. We’re looking for warmer clothes for now, but it would be nice to get something you want to wear,” you rattled off, trying to settle your heart again.
The look on his face changed as he dipped in close to you and whispered, “I would much rather trust your judgment about what looks best on me.”
“That may be a bit difficult…”
“Why? Is it because you prefer nothing on—”
“Volo!”
He just laughed at you. But you knew what he was doing. He was trying to take your mind off your troubles.
“I jest, my love.”
Sighing with a smile, you swung your intertwined hands forward, a sign you’d like him to walk with you as you inspected the displays. Although you’d been worried about Volo since he’d quite literally been dropped into your world only a few hours prior, you had to admit that you enjoyed this moment with him. Shopping together wasn’t really something you had often done in Hisui. It was different then, much different, despite how you’d already lived with one another for years, in your little home.
Briefly, you wondered what had happened to it.
“What about this?”
You were glad that Volo had brought you out of your reminiscing. He was here with you. That was what was important.
“Oh!” Your attention was now fully on the sweater Volo was holding. “That’s exactly what I was thinking we should look for first!”
Volo tilted his head meaningfully. “We think quite alike.”
You eyes softened.
“Of course we do.”
Reaching out, you took the sweater from him and examined it carefully. It was a pale cream color, with light blue buttons that reminded you of the markings on Togekiss. Your lips twitched upward. Of course, you probably weren’t the only one thinking of the resemblance.
You peered at the tag on inside its collar and at the rack it’d been on. “It’s a good brand, Altaria and Blu.”
“And what does its name mean?”
“They’re a family of Pokémon—Swablu and Altaria. They kind of look like clouds, but they’re actually birds.”
“Hm. I would like to see a Pokémon like that one day.”
Draping the long sweater over your arm, you returned to perusing the other options while chatting idly. It was peaceful—more than you’d thought it’d be. Maybe it was because your nerves had eased themselves a little. It also helped you overlook how much this all might cost you. You could manage. Anything, for him.
For the most part, however, Volo defaulted to letting you choose his clothing for him, despite how often you tried to get his input. It was nice that he trusted you to do so—even if he was right beside you, observing what you selected for him. Once more, you couldn’t help thinking of how regular something like this could be for the two of you.
A normal life. Maybe not like the one you’d had in Hisui, but one where you’d be together, forever. You smiled at the thought.
Volo seemed pleased, too. Maybe it was because he liked what the two of you had picked. Similar sweaters, warm cargo pants, a variety of button-downs, and some comfortable, stay-at-home clothes, among the other clothing necessities like undergarments and shoes. (The sandals he was wearing had to go.)
…Or maybe it wasn’t really the clothes, but the principle of it all. That he was just as happy to be with you as you were with him. You caught him staring at you fondly—once when you were deeply scrutinizing a trendy pair of track pants and then when you were describing the different fabrics often used for modern-day clothing. He only smiled at you when you’d asked if something was wrong, before saying that he simply loved hearing your voice.
You had to wait a moment before you could actually make your way to the register to pay.
The exchange with the cashier went about as you’d expected though. They seemed curious about Volo, but you appreciated that they didn’t say anything. They did grin when you mentioned that Volo would be wearing some of the clothes you’d purchased out.
You sighed as the two of you left the boutique. You were glad that everything had gone smoothly, even if you’d been particularly worried on the way here.
Taking Volo’s hand again, you checked the time, then said, “We’ll go shopping for more clothes on another day, but for now, this should hopefully work.”
“I was worried about you.”
“Huh?” You looked up at him, surprised by the unexpectedness of his remark.
Volo plucked the bag of clothes you’d been carrying and hooked it over his elbow. He glanced at you softly. “You were worried about me throughout the entire afternoon. I was unsure of what I could do to help.”
“Volo…”
He smiled at you, and then he was the one guiding you down the sidewalk.
“But there’s no need to worry about me. As long as I am with you, I will always be all right.”
Your heart fluttered. How could he always say such things like this…?
“More than all right, surely,” he continued, brushing his thumb over the back of your hand. “No amount of words describe how fortunate I am to have you with me.”
Volo leaned in and laid a kiss upon your cheek.
“I’m just happy to be here with you, my love.”
grocery shopping – (a few days.)
“What’s that?”
Stopping your shopping cart, you turned back to Volo. He was slightly bent over the open-top freezer stretching alongside you and pointing at something within one of the containers.
You poked your head over the edge of the freezer. When you saw what he was pointing at, you couldn’t help smiling.
“They’re frozen pancakes.”
Volo scrunched his nose. He seemed unsure of why they were the way they were.
“The amount of frozen food that is here is… astounding.”
You held back your laugh. It was cute to see Volo like this.
“Of course, you can make pancakes without having them frozen. Maybe we should make some tomorrow morning.”
Volo nodded, moving to you again. He laid his arms over yours as you turned to steer the cart, his chest pressed against your back.
“Lovely.” You felt his voice rumble up your spine, and his warmth was almost instantly overwhelming.
Why did it always feel like you were falling in love with him all over again?
“…You’re lovely,” you told him, tilting your head back to look at him with a grin.
Volo laughed, and before you had a chance to react, he stole a kiss from you.
cooking – (two weeks.)
You were exhausted.
Work, to put it plainly, had sucked.
What you needed now was a chance to relax, to forget about everything that had happened, and ready yourself to repeat it all tomorrow.
What you didn’t know you needed, however, was waiting for you when you opened the door to your apartment.
“I’m home,” you called out tiredly. You kicked off your shoes, unbothered by how they’d flown somewhere across the front entrance, and barely remembered to slide on your slippers before ambling farther inside.
Something smelled nice—a savory, light scent. Maybe Volo was cooking?
“Welcome back!” came the sing-song voice from the kitchen.
Immediately, a smile flickered onto your lips. Oh, this man…
Poking his head out from down the hall, Volo waved at you. He rounded the corner, and you noticed he was also wearing an apron, confirming what you’d thought earlier. You wanted to run to him, to laugh, to scream about how glad you were to see him, but instead, you could only offer him the weak smile that was already on your face.
Volo covered all the ground to you, then embraced you gently. It was wonderful to feel him so close to you, with his fingers tracing soothing circles into your back.
“Another rough day?”
“Mhm.”
“Hm. Perhaps I should ask Giratina to… pay a friendly visit to a select few.”
You laughed. That sounded nice. Giratina, scaring your terrible boss and awful coworker.
“Maybe. Maybe, Volo.”
…
Volo smiled. The two of you wandered back to the living room, where you finally saw what Volo had been up to. An array of dishes decorated the dining table, with a hot stew at the center of it all.
“It’s just something simple,” began Volo as he cradled your hands in his own, “but I thought it might be a nice to have a fuller meal.”
Warmth flooded your heart.
“I love you,” you murmured, leaning in to kiss him.
He was more than glad to accept your kiss, and then he answered, an echo of your words,
“I love you, too.”

I've never made an au before but heres a concept for one! Basic story line below the cut
In an ancient city, sun and moon were made by the gods to warn humans of famine, giving them a chance to prepare and prevent. Due to confusion and fear however, the people mistake sun and moon for spirits that bring famine, and they're cast away into a deep pit of ruins, where they are bound to stay for eternity.
In the modern time, Y/N is a college student who happened upon an opportunity to travel - which came with the promise that when they arrived, they'd be given a tour of a faraway ancient city. During the tour of the city, however, a siren call of sorts beckons them away from their tour group, appealing to their curiosity. Following the call, they slip away from the group and fall down into a deep pit, where they're met by what they could only call a monster. Barely slipping out of it's clutches in a stroke of luck, they run, being driven deeper and deeper into the pit - which turns to ruins as they run - by their assailent. Eventually, they reach an opening, an area from where the sunlight shines through a hole far above, and the beast stops it's pursuit and reluctantly turns away.
Confused but grateful for their safety, Y/N realizes they're lost and panics. They shout for help, try to get service on their phone, or even try to start a fire to alert someone with smoke, but nothing works. Totally lost and inexperienced with the wilderness, and after many fruitless attempts to get help, they allow themselves to curl into a ball and cry. They can't retrace their steps for fear of the monster, and they might be able to go deeper when they're stronger and ready to fight, but they need an emotional release - plus the sunlight was nice. The ruins were so dark everywhere else, and at least here felt friendly. They'd decide what to do once they'd gotten themselves together, but for now they needed to rest from the chase and release tension as much as possible...all while completely unaware of the gaze that had tracked them from the moment they'd entered the clearing.
Sun and moon, although having a relatively strong distaste for humans, have been bored and lonely for a thousands of years, where their only company was food and prey. Few sentient beings found themselves in the ruins, and even fewer made it to their clearing - now, the first human in centuries, was sitting and crying at the center of their territory. They decide to put aside their dislike for mankind and approach.
Beyond this point, Sun, Moon and Y/N meet. Y/N is initially scared and Sun and Moon are unimpressed, but press on due to lack of connection outside of themselves for years. Eventually, they gain Y/N's trust and they become their roommate of sorts.
Sun and Moon help show Y/N how to grow food with the limited resources in the clearing and Y/N tells them about the modern world. They find each other's company enriching, and that enrichment turns into a bond.
This is all mostly just 1 am word vomit and general ideas, so the whole story is very underdeveloped, but I wanted to put it out there in case anyone was interested in reading! It was really fun to type out lol regardless of grammatical mistakes (I wrote it on the Tumblr app and have not proof read it...hopefully it's coherent lmao)
If you made it this far, tysm for reading!! Hopefully you enjoyed the concept :)
