#drank too many coffee to get my brain going for this article that I am writing for my uni's magazine#and now I am overthinking every word#globalisation is leading to increased inequalities and global warming#colonial history leads to difference in development and wealth in global north and south#albeit there is a convergence trend now#however globl north bcz of its resources (both own & colonised) is reaping the most benefits of globalisation exploiting resources worldwide#global south is catching up in emissions#colonisation though made colonising countries prosperous#prosperity is not shared equally#rich in western countries gain the most#rich in global south is catching up#bottom quantiles in both are bearing the consequences#what I am trying to write is rich everywhere emits way more emissions than middle & lower income groups#fuck it
