New to Tumblr and still trying to figure out how it works; am I doing it right?

My wife has made be a better cook.  Not simply because she has taught me new skills,  but she has made me care.  I take more time to build flavor instead of falling back on a single dish I know how to make.  I try recipes of things that look  good online, but complicated enough to be intimidating.  I need to find a less dorky way to thank her.
