This is your brain after several years of bootlicking SEGA:
Tumblr media
You're racist because you *checks notes* don't like Sonic Forces, got it!
Do I even need to say anything? The simple fact that someone can conflate criticism of a product with racism is beyond sad. And by this person's logic, they're racist against Westerners!

Again, an extreme response to the comment you described, but there's no harassment or threats. He's not my lord and savior, you're more obsessed with him than any fan I've ever seen, as evidenced by you continuing to whine about him. And for what, because he didn't mindlessly consume Thieves in Time like a corporate zombie?
An English major that doesn't know the meaning of a threat or harassment... Holy shit, now I've seen it all.
And I take issue with wishes of death towards writers for the crime of... writing badly. I don't like many games released in the last two decades but do you see me saying that kind of thing about Iizuka, Kishimoto, and other staff? No. I'll occasionally mock Sega staff for dumb shit they say in interviews and criticize their games, but that's about it. I can easily turn your last sentence back to you; I bet you've never seen seen a single frame of the comics.
See above
Do you mean DLH as in Darklightheart? Their activity consists of being an oversensitive bitch about other opinions and mean words. The others you mentioned I have never talked about, I did talk about several of your friends but not those listed.
J's reviews never threatened Pontaff
Premy never threatened Pontaff

LS Mark never threatened Pontaff
KingK never threatened Pontaff
"J's Reviews never threatened Pontaff"
Yeah, he did. Especially in his (frankly shitty) video that he supposedly now regrets posting.
"Premy never threatened Pontaff"
Check his Twitter during 2014-2018.
"Chaomix never threatened Pontaff"
Course he didn't; he was too busy complaining about Sonic's quills.
"LS Mark never threatened Pontaff"
1 decent guy out of like a thousand entitled brats doesn't inspire confidence.
"KingK never threatened Pontaff"
You're reeeeaaally stretching here.

What Sonic characters you think have the best designs?
I think Sonic himself has one of the very best character designs out of all videogame characters. it’s simple, yet with so much personality in him. There is just something that makes him timeless and appealing to so many people.
Amy also has great designs both in her classic and modern selves. From modern, what I like if how cute she looks with little details like the petticoat underneath her red dress or her boots with a design that makes me think of racing stripes. Plus the headband that has always been part of her design since forever. Classic is also cute, but her more colorful palette is something no other character has ever matched (not even the Sega CD, with it’s techical improvements over the Genesis, could render all of her colors of her in-game sprite, lol) and really is the most eye-catching of them all. XD
Eggman too is great in both incarnations. His classic design has so much charm and easily deceives anyone that looks at him because it’s a bit hard to believe that he is actually the bad guy. Really a very enjoyable subversion from the typical bad guy that looks threatening at first glance. His modern version has a jacket that resembles a bit that of a circus ringmaster, which makes a lot of sense as it fits the doc’s egotistical personality and his desire to be the center of everyone’s attention.
Rouge also has an awesome main design that makes her tease her charm while still being practical and having very feminine flair to it. She also has very good taste for her alternate costumes, especially a very elegant coat and beret combo from Sonic Channel that is also featured in the cover for IDW’s Sonic #35.
All caracters in general are very well design as nothing in them is left to randomness. However, I think these four are the best designed ones. ^_^

FOR YOUR VIDEO GAME ASKS: 5, 8, 11, 14, 16, 20 (or could be first you remember playing), 23, 27, 28, & 30 !
oof this is so many.
5. A popular series/game you just can't get into no matter how much you try?
pokemon. absolutely can’t get into it, find it boring and dull and repetitive, don’t get attached to my teams like at all. pokemon as a concept are very cute and the games look cute and the show was cute but actually playing them is such a chore to me
8. Best soundtrack?
this is really hard. uhhh everything nobuo uematsu has ever done?? the music in ffvi was absolutely breathtaking, he really outdid himself with that one, but i love ffvii and ffix’s as well. i like tactics’ a lot but that one’s kind of an acquired taste, sakimoto does a lot of weird things. the hollow bastion theme from kh1 is one of my favorite video game themes of all time. so is the sovngarde theme from skyrim. aaaand big shoutout to the assassin’s creed 2 and black flag soundtracks, which are both very good
undertale soundtrack is also fucking amazing
11. Hardest game you've played?
bloodborne. couldnt even get past the first area, im a casual. also HUGE fucking shoutout to the original three crash bandicoots. especially the first one -_-
14. A game you think would be cool if it had voice acting?
hmm.... lots of games ive played have voice acting, even if its not throughout the entire game. like tactics would have been the answer to this if war of the lions had not come out a decade ago and added voice acted cutscenes. oh man you know what? vagrant story. as long as they got a real good cast - like how they cast stage actors to voice ffxii, which is the game with the best voice acting of all time
16. Character you've hated most? From what game?
god this is such a tough question. there’s a special place in hell for seymour guado from ffx. tseng as well from ffvii. fucking GENESIS RHAPSODOS from crisis core, absolute WORST character ever added to a video game series ever. im of the opinion that absolutely no prequels or sequels should have been made of ffvii because the original was so perfectly complete in its original incarnation and all the extra material has done its damnedest to soil it.
20. What was the first video game you ever played?
this is always such a tough question because i honestly couldn’t say, even of the ones i remember playing. i think the best answer is trying to play final fantasy tactics when i was super little and my mom and sister were very into it, but doing very poorly at it because i was like. tiny. so instead i played rhapsody a musical adventure. i really think that game is probably My First game in a lot of ways. kh1 happened not long after this
first games i remember watching people play: the original sonic games on the sega genesis; gunstar heroes; tomb raider 2 (and the other ones, but mostly tomb raider 2); final fantasy tactics & final fantasy vii
23. Biggest disappointment you've had in gaming?
honestly just stuff being released for systems i dont have mainly?? also crisis core.
27. Has there ever been a moment that has made you cry?
of course.... for the sake of mixing it up a little i’ll go with a non-final fantasy answer and say my most recent instance: when i beat ghost trick over the summer. god the ending of that game is so fucking good, i was bawling.
28. Which character's clothes do you wish you owned the most?
balthier’s concept art / war of the lions outfit. the fancy white shirt with the absolutely ridiculously popped collar? the super tight black pants that exactly match his boots? fuck dude. i’d never pull it off but I Wish. i’d also like his original outfit if i could wear a vest like that and also if he wasnt wearing dumb elf shoes.
30. A game that hasn't been localized in your country that you think should be localized?
all the rhapsody sequels!! i want to know what happened with cornet’s daughter! and cornet’s mom! and the one song i heard from angel present was so good!

See How Easy Zynga Poker Cheats Can Be With These Tips
Whether you are talking about XBox 360, Wii, Sega, or Playstation, there are countless ways you can play video games. Even if you're not able to game on a console, your PC can play many games as well. Keep reading to elevate your Zynga Poker Hack passion to a new level.
Don't waste your money on survival guides. Video games are expensive, buying a guide on top of the video game makes them even more so. You can find free, in-depth guides online for just about any video game. Before you pay fifteen to thirty dollars for something you might not need, check online.
If you feel like you targeted your enemy spot on in a shooter and still missed, check what weapon you are using. Just like in real life, different weapons have different strengths and weaknesses. The weapon you are using may not have the short distance required or the weapon recoil is actually putting you slightly off target.
Moderation is important in all things, and playing video games is no different. Playing for hours on end isn't good for you, physically or mentally. There are a few games out there that know this and include measures to remind you to take breaks. Take the initiative yourself, though! Set an alarm so that you don't play for more than an hour straight.
Parents should take the time to look in the Zynga Poker Hack Android console's settings for parental controls. Consoles will have these controls within their setting's menus. These can allow you to control games by ESRB rating, the amount of time on the system and limit online access. With these controls set, your child can play games more safely.
When choosing video games for your children, it is important to do a little research first. Make use of the rating symbols on the front of the packaging, and the game descriptions on the back. But, you can also gain valuable information by talking to other kids, parents and checking out online forums to get real answers about appropriate content.
Do not neglect the secondary market for console video games when looking for titles. You can find good condition used games at a number of sources. Online, they are available through individual resellers and auction's sites, both as single titles and in collections. Offline, you can buy them used from game stores, video and music stores and at flea markets.
Consider buying second hand video games instead of new video games. Video games can be very expensive to buy new. Therefore, if you are operating on a limited budget, you may want to consider buying  your video games second hand. There are many places where you can buy second hand video games, including eBay and local car boot sales.
You should think about visiting a video arcade to play games sometimes. Today, people often play Zynga Poker Cheats alone. When you go to an arcade that is not near you, you get a chance to play games with others and can open up new and exciting social interactions.
If you are purchasing a game for a child and have no idea what type of game to choose, use the ESRB rating on the case as a guide. The rating system isn't perfect. It does give you a good idea about the content of a game. Even so, so you can ensure the game is age-appropriate.
Maintain a firm budget during the course of the year on video games. Video games can be a very expensive good to purchase, which can set you back thousands of dollars if things get out of control. Try to pick a few games and stick with those, to reduce your overall expenses.
If you are looking for video games for your child, make sure that the games are age-appropriate. A lot of video games are designed to be played by adults and may contain content that is too violent for children. Read the description, ratings, and reviews to ensure you will choose wisely.
Think about selling your game system before buying a new one. There is always a new gaming system coming out, and if you're like most people you have more than one system. However, consider that newer models are likely to come out soon. It might be worth it to sell the old ones and wait.
Choose video games for your children that are non-violent or threatening. Kids easily love games that involve shooting or violence to feel powerful. Choose adventure or driving Zynga Poker Free Chips that still keep your children's interest, without being violent. It is imperative that you use their gaming experience to teach your kids something new and still keep them entertained.
If you want your partner or spouse to try gaming, carefully choose some games that he or she might enjoy. Forcing your own tastes onto your significant other won't work. Cooperative games are a good place to start, so you can share the experience and find out what your significant other likes and doesn't like.
Try renting a video game before buying it. Many stores will not take returns on Zynga Poker Hile you've played, even if they're expensive. When you rent a game, you can buy it afterwards if you like it.
Read the manual! You will never learn all the things the buttons do on your own as they often react differently in diverse situations. Examine the controls and how they function to ensure you're able to master every level without any frustration. The more you know, the better you'll play.
Purchase the largest memory card possible if you are an avid gamer, to store as much information as you can on one piece of equipment. This will help keep you as organized as possible, and store all of your information on one device. Memory cards are absolutely essential, regardless of the type of game you are playing.
No matter what you use to play Zynga Poker Mod Apk be it your computer, cell phone or console, as long as you have an Internet connection, gaming is possible. The tips contained here make sure you maximize your time gaming.

Retro Game Blog
April 19 GAME ROOM TOUR
Tumblr media
April 2019 Blog: Game Room Tour
Hey guys, this is my second blog relating to retro video gaming/collecting and, for this one, the focus is on my collection, systems I’m collecting for and some photos of my collection so far. It is a spiritual game room tour... minus the actual game room.
The main reason I am doing a blog on this subject is that I see all of these video game channels on YouTube and they have all invariably have made some sort of game room tour video. It’s very self indulgent but I do enjoy watching such videos to see how they all manage their space and watch in envy of their wall-to-wall video games. Often, there is too much clutter for my taste but, occasionally, you see the most amazing spaces that every geek such as myself dreams of. I also tend to pick up ideas of how to store and manage my own collection, with the dream being a dedicated room for gaming! (one day, one day... ha ha).
The space that some of these collectors have is just amazing but, due to space constraints, I have quickly learned how to maximise the small home for this space-consuming hobby. So, this is really a kind of game room tour, without a game room. Hopefully my tips may help you with any physical media collection you may have or want to start.
I live in a small home with one small spare box room; all of the rooms are relatively small, so I can’t just hoard and gather every single video game I see. Personally, I wouldn’t want to do that anyway. I collect mainly classics, personal nostalgic games and games I’ve heard of via advice from other gamers. I’ve never really understood going for a complete collection of any console, as there is a lot of trash/shovel ware out there, but each to their own. I am as much of a gamer (not saying a good one) as I am a collector and I don’t want to play/waste time on too much rubbish. I do have to utilise backward compatibility as a way of minimising the amount of consoles I have and, as you read on, you will see how I maximise each console I own.
I tend to keep a list of video games (with the price from Cex (let them do the work) written next to each) that I’m looking out for in my wallet. This ensures that I don’t spend way over value for anything. I keep my eyes peeled on eBay, pawn shops, charity shops and boot sales and, if I am desperate for a game and I still can’t find it cheaper than Cex, then I will just buy from them.
People talk about the quality of emulation all the time and ask why have all this stuff when it is so good. I am totally not against emulation. For games that I want to try before I buy or that are just out of my price range I use emulation. Also, utilising save states greatly reduces the brutal difficulty and frankly tedious death repetition of some games. I personally would prefer the games be appreciated in any form then to be lost in time. Apart from that, I personally don’t think emulation will ever be better than playing on a game’s original hardware, and there is something special about owning a physical game with the box artwork and instruction manual. Playing on original controllers is more often than not a much better experience also.
My current consoles, including their backward compatibility, are as follows.
Consoles:
C64 plug n play
NES Mini
Sega Megadrive model 1
SNES Mini
N64
PlayStation 2 slim (fully PS1 compatible)
Xbox 360 slim (partial Original Xbox compatible)
Wii (fully GameCube compatible)
PlayStation 4
Hand helds:
Game Boy advance sp (fully Game Boy and GB color compatible)
Nintendo DS lite (fully GBA compatible)
Playstation Portable
I’ve also tried to cover other consoles by selecting Saturn and Dreamcast games that have had a release on other systems such as Shenmue 1&2 on PS4, Project Gotham Racing 2 (essentially a sequel to Metropolis Street Racer) and Panzer Dragoon ORTA (has original Panza Dragoon is an unlockable) on Xbox, Sonic adventure 2 on GameCube and Quake 3, Crazy Taxi, Resident Evil Code Veronica X, Ready 2 Rumble Round 2, Virtua Tennis 2, Dead or Alive 2 and Marvel vs Capcom 2 on PS2.
One final way I have managed to cover some of the best games from other consoles is with anthology collection discs, such as the Atari and Activision Anthology on PS2 to cover the Atari 2600, a Metal Slug Anthology on Wii for a bit of quality run-and-gun action from the NeoGeo. One final special mention goes to Castlevania The Dracula X Chronicles on PSP, which not only has the PS1 classic Symphony of the Night but the amazing Rondo of Blood from the Turbografix 16, both on one UMD disc as unlockables.
My current living room set up sees my PS4, Xbox 360, SNES mini and N64 all plugged in and ready to play with the associated games in my sideboard next to the sofa. I will generally always keep a hand-held console in the draw with a couple of select games. Currently, the PSP is getting some love.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My consoles spend time on rotation in my living room but, for now, everything else, including all their leads and controllers, are living in a Tupperware box in the spare room alongside my game display, purchased for £49 from Argos. My only regret is not going to the Heart Foundation charity funature store first, as they had some awesome media storage at amazing prices (and it would have helped a good cause so 👍). Not to worry, I’m sure I’ll need more storage/display shelving at some point 🤓.
Tumblr media
My Game boy collection is kept in a small plastic tub at the moment. Keeping my eyes peeled for display options for these...
Tumblr media
I’m not really sure how this happened but I’ve also got a lot of unboxed PS1 titles. I seem to remember buying these in one or two lots really cheap. I keep these in a pretty sweet PlayStation CD case.
Tumblr media
And here are a few loose Megadrive games I own.
Tumblr media
I am lucky that my old living room tv has served me very well for many years and, with it’s dated nature, I am able to hook up Coaxial RF connection, RGB SCART (which is the best analogue signal that you can get for old consoles) and HDMI. I spent a little money on relatively cheap and frankly poor quality cables from eBay in order to maximise picture quality and I am actually really pleased with the results. This is my solution rather than spending hundreds on analogue-to-HDMI converters such as the Framemeister. Playing consoles in their native 4:3 aspect ratio is a must otherwise images will be distorted and stretched.
In conclusion, I hope this helps anyone starting a collection of any kind of physical media and maybe even starting a few collections going on in your own homes. When your girlfriends kick up a fuss and demand you ‘get rid of this junk’, then I can be here to offer you a really cheap price to take it all off your hands, ha ha. Until next time!!! 🎮

Take on VANQUISH’s God Hard mode with ICHI!
From Platinum Games Blog
Hello, PlatinumGames fans! I’m ICHI, from the Platinum PR department. Back when VANQUISH first came out, I never imagined we might one day see it on the PC, with a beefed-up frame rate and resolution to boot. But seven years later, here it is!
It takes me back to where I was seven years ago. I was here at PlatinumGames, helping out on the original official Japanese Vanquish website and taking screenshots to help promote the hot, new title.
Here’s one of my screenshots from 2010.
When I saw Sam in his Augmented Reaction Suit, the first thing that popped to mind was That’s. So. Cool! I wanted to douse our fans in that feeling. I wanted to make sure they thought the ARS was as awesome as I did. I tried a bunch of different approaches to get that feeling across, taking all sorts of action-packed screenshots and making videos to show off the ARS’s cool, mechanical movements.
But enough old memories for now! Let’s focus on the Steam version.
When I was taking screenshots for Vanquish’s original console release, I kept thinking about how clean and cool the visuals were. The explosions, like fireworks; the barrages of missiles and lasers streaking across the sky; the rubble tumbling down – it all looks very stylish. But to make everything look so nice, we had to make some tradeoffs on the framerate; the game only ran at 30 frames per second. Motion blur effects did help smooth things out a bit on that front, though.
When development began on the PC version, I wondered just how much prettier the game could be with modern technology behind it. I was not disappointed.
The PC version is absolutely gorgeous and velvety smooth. You can follow the paths of each bullet and bombshell with your own eyes. I had to play it. And of course, I had to play it on GOD HARD.
For those who don’t know, God Hard is an extremely high difficulty setting that you can unlock by beating the main story. In God Hard, enemies are much more powerful and numerous, and Sam’s defenses are significantly weaker. To top it off, several tweaks to the game system add to the challenge; weapons no longer level up, for one.
Even counting all the old guard Vanquish fans who played it on console, I expect relatively few have tried God Hard. I expect that most of them who have likely gave up before making it to the first boss. In the spirit of full disclosure, that’s exactly where I was at first, seven years ago. I just couldn’t do it. I was sure our designers had deliberately made God Hard impossible.
Publicity screenshot for the 2010 release.
But then, I watched one of our programmers beat it before my very eyes. I knew then that I could at least make it to the first critical point – the first boss fight. At the time, people were saying that fight was the first major hurdle to beating God Hard. If you could just make it through, you probably had the skills to go far. My personal experience with God Hard showed that to be true.
As it turned out, I could handle God Hard better than I’d expected!
I’d really like everyone who hasn’t tried God Hard – and everyone who’s tried and given up since 2010 – to taste the joys that I felt when I started succeeding. To encourage you, I’ve made a video of myself playing and completing the infamous Act 1-3 on God Hard!
The PC version of Vanquish, now available on Steam, presents a great opportunity for me to share this joy with you. It’s a pleasure to play, and the loading screens fly by, too! I’m hesitant to call my video a “super play,” since there are plenty of people whose Vanquish skills are a million light years beyond my own, but perhaps my personal approach will be useful study material for your God Hard attempts. I’ve added my own text commentary, too – make sure you turn on the English captions for a translation!
Thanks for reading, and see you at the end of God Hard!
youtube
This video has been reduced in size; ICHI is playing in 1080p.
Oh, one more thing. If you’ve just purchased the PC version and you’re a Vanquish veteran or a glutton for punishment, use this trick to access God Hard difficulty without having to beat the game first: At the title screen, spin your right stick around in a full circle twenty times. You should hear a sound effect indicating that God Hard more is available!
