Do I even need to say anything? The simple fact that someone can conflate criticism of a product with racism is beyond sad. And by this person's logic, they're racist against Westerners!

Okay I finished Entangled Life around the same time I finished Dawn (the first in the Lilith's Brood or Xenogenesis series) and now I have an idea for a story about a fungus who gains sentience and decides to communicate with humans by infecting corpses but the main fungus is underground pretty much everywhere. And some of the corpses decide they want to become individuals and stop reassimilating with the Master Fungus. All the infected corpses who just exist to interface between the humans and the Master Fungus are called Corporate Zombies. Part of the agreement between the humans and the fungus is that it's ok to kill corporate zombies cause it doesn't hurt the Master Fungus. To distinguish the Corporate Zombies from humans and individualized zombies (human-fungus lichens? Symbiotes?) the Corporate Zombies have to wear stupid mycelium suits and ties.

the thing is MY team are a family and there are so many intricate dynamics and relationships and friendships at play and every other team is full of work colleagues that barely know each other beyond maybe someone's coffee order or the person with the stinkiest feet in the dressing room. no one else has such a compelling narrative. no one else has such a lovable cast of characters. no one else is as interesting as my team.

I love Tumblr because I really get a whole person when I follow a person, shout outs to you if you have all of your fandoms on one blog. I’ve only been on this hell site for about half a year and I already have multiple tales of finding someone, following them, and discovering a whole new world of cool little things

A person who I followed for Yume Nikki art revealed the existence of a Plants vs Zombies fandom

A friend who recommended tumblr to me and often reblogs really cool and informative posts has revealed to me that fallout fans have taken a man with no skin and made him show so much skin

A person who I followed for fantastic Touhou art turned out to be a collector of dolls from Monster High, it’s always cool to see what they’ve gotten their hands on

A mutual I followed for their posts about Lobotomy Corporation managed to get my friend into Pocket Mirror, which they bought on impulse and played it nonstop for the next week

I love people like this, love your interests, I don’t care how dumb or embarrassing you think it is! Please, share them with the world, it make every day so much more exciting
