How to Make Money by showing ads in website
In today's digital world, having a website has become a necessity for businesses and individuals alike. It not only serves as a platform to showcase products and services but also provides an opportunity to earn money through advertisements. Here's how you can make money by showing ads on your website:
Choose an Ad Network
The first step is to choose an ad network that aligns with your website's content and audience. Some popular ad networks include Google AdSense, Media.net, and Amazon Native Shopping Ads. These networks allow you to display relevant ads on your website and earn money when visitors click on them.
Create High-Quality Content
The success of your ad revenue depends on the quality of your content. It's essential to create original, engaging, and valuable content that attracts visitors to your website. The more traffic you have, the higher the chances of earning money through ads.
Optimize Ad Placement
Ad placement plays a crucial role in the success of your ad revenue. You should place ads in strategic locations where they are visible to visitors but not intrusive. A common practice is to place ads above the fold, which is the area of the website that visitors see first without having to scroll down.
Monitor Ad Performance
Monitoring ad performance is essential to optimize your revenue. You should track metrics such as click-through rate (CTR), cost per click (CPC), and revenue generated. This information will help you optimize your ad placement, type, and content to maximize revenue.
Use Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is another way to earn money through your website. In this model, you promote other people's products or services and earn a commission when someone buys them through your referral link. You can sign up for affiliate programs such as Amazon Associates, Commission Junction, or ShareASale and promote products that are relevant to your website's content.
Sell Ad Space
If you have a significant amount of traffic, you can sell ad space on your website directly to companies or individuals. This allows you to negotiate the terms and rates of the ads and potentially earn more revenue than using an ad network.

one webcomics trend I've noticed for a bit is comics where the creator casts a wide net and publishes to as many sites as possible, so like there's a tumblr mirror, a webtoons mirror, a tapas mirror, a twitter mirror, I've even seen one that has a tiktok mirror (god). Some of these even have the decency to actually have their own website
the idea was to cast the widest possible net in order to get the maximum audience possible, as this was the excuse for people using webtoons despite it sucking raw hot dogs but i dont understand how on earth this strategy could ever work lol
full lol i love to hear myself talk damn. fucking. subnormality webcomic behavior
anyway to highlight the uselessness of google analytics, these are my analytics arranged on "looker studio", a google product i guess they forgot about, in order to make sense of the useless shit they're showing me. you can see this enormous traffic spike from a traffic bot farm advertising their services by ruining your metrics. you can no longer filter these urls from your data.
full image
here's my google adsense conspiracy theory from me shedding light on why i think (STRONG EMPHASIS ON "THINK". IM HYPOTHESIZING) with commentary from someone who knows way more about the subject than my armchair observations.
my marketing strategy is to talk bullshit with people with similar interests while letting people know when my comic updates twice a week. if they want to read it, they can. they're not stupid, they don't need to be forced into reading it if they want to. i assume most of my readers are as broke as i am so i don't hound them to give me money they don't have. i'll never run ads again unless its like. for a friend's thing. hand-cultivated by me. im not looking for a wide audience, i'm looking for an audience of people who "get it" and can see an inherent value in what i create. if they have some spare cash, i make my barrier to entry on my patreon extremely low; 1 dollar a month and you can see things early and go through a backlog of author commentary and design stuff and rewards im sooo behind on im so sorry. im so sick i promise, im coming back!!! anyway i just want real human people to have a chance to see things and enjoy things without making it a fucking hassle, you know.
the most organic, actual traffic i got from my site is from a friend's webcomic that links to mine. 11 people read a lot of pages! that's genuinely making my head spin! that's great! i hope they liked it and will check in again. i love the comic they came from so they are clearly ppl of taste lol.
oh uh. and heres my comic lol. for any cantankerous gay old losers out there.

What’s up, my friends? It’s your boy Karl, and today we’re talking about something that can help you make some serious cash online. That’s right, we’re talking about Google Adsense! And specifically, we’re talking about a Fiverr gig that I found that can help you create a profitable Adsense-approved website for less than $5.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. How is it possible to get a high-quality website with Adsense approval for such a low price? Well, let me tell you, my friends, it is possible, and it’s all thanks to this amazing Fiverr gig.
First of all, let’s talk about what this gig offers. The seller promises to create a profitable website on any niche with a guaranteed Adsense approval. But what sets them apart from other sellers is that they don’t just create your website, write a few articles, and call it a day. They take care of all the mandatory things required for Adsense approval before delivering your order.
That means they’ll fix issues such as low value, privacy policy, site unavailability, rewritten or unoriginal content, site navigation behavior, third-party APIs content, minimum content requirements, affiliate content with little added value, and thin content that doesn't meet Webmaster quality guidelines. They ensure that your site has unique, high-quality content and a good structure that will help you get approved for Adsense.
But what does Adsense approval mean for you? It means you can start earning money by placing ads on your website. Every time someone clicks on an ad, you get a commission. And the best part is that you don’t have to do anything except create the website and place the ads. Google takes care of the rest.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. Creating a website can be complicated, and getting Adsense approval can be even more challenging. But that’s where this Fiverr gig comes in. For less than $5, you can have a professional website that’s ready to make you money.
And the best part? You don’t have to worry about the quality of the work or whether you’ll actually get Adsense approval. The seller has a proven track record of success, with plenty of positive reviews from satisfied customers.
So what are you waiting for? If you want to start making money with Google Adsense, then this Fiverr gig is the way to go. Place your order today, and within a few days, you’ll be on your way to earning some serious cash online. And who knows, maybe one day you’ll be able to quit your day job and live off your website earnings. The possibilities are endless, my friends.

The reason I won't be able to sleep tonight is that google and twitter are actively trying to influence the voting of a bill in my country, one regulating the responsibility of the service providers on the spread of misinformation and fake news, impersonation and bot activity.
Google's answer was to pen scare-mongering articles (based on an older version of the bill's text, but they don't say this) and link those in its front page, urging brazilians to contact our senators so they'll vote against the bill. Willful misinformation.
Twitter's answer was suppressing the trending topics related to the bill (PL 2630). Shadowbanning, but on steroids, but you'd expect that from twitter. We generally joke that if twitter was forced to take down all nazi propaganda (yes *that* is on the bill) they'd have very little content left.
I've read the full text of the bill.
(this is when I say I'm not a lawyer, I'm an academical. I know how to read the text and can interpret it, though I can't debate the minutia.)
While there are some areas that could potentially be used as leverage to infringe on personal expression, you have to understand that, legally speaking, freedom of expression in Brazil is not as important as bodily autonomy/freedom from harm (you can have opinions on this, I sure have opinions on laws from other countries, it won't change our constitution or the manner in which judges make their decisions over here.)
Some highlights:
The articles related to enforced demonatization have been scrapped. I mention this because it's all you find when you search about this bill in english.
The obligatory identification of all users (which was in the previous text of the bill) has been exchanged for a possible (the word "may" is used) use of official identification as means to curb impersonation.
Social media providers are expected to not only clearly mark ads, but also inform when someone paid for boosting. In case of political ads, the providers are expected to conform to existing electoral legislation and report the total amount of ad money spent on campaign by each candidate/party (which they were refusing to do. That was already illegal, this has already been to courts, the inclusion in this bill is just so that the commission created in it would receive such reports.)
That said, the bill includes some interesting requirements. Big tech companies would have to keep a portuguese speaking team over here which would be responsible for sending periodical reports to a government commission (mostly over bot activity and account suspensions), and the collected data should be made available to the academic community (!).
But, the way I see it, the important part is that this bill has this:
Capítulo III
(...)
Art. 20.
Translation (mine):
Chapter III (...) Article 20. The Public Administration shall curb the allocation of advertising to electronic sites and accounts on social networks that promote acts of incitement to violence against a person or group, especially due to their race, color, ethnicity, sex, genetic characteristics, philosophical convictions, physical, immunological, sensory or mental disability, for having served time or for any particularity or condition.
This basically means AdSense gets no government money, that Twitter can't serve government ads on hateful profiles. It could mean Twitter can't serve government ads at all as long as there is hate on the ad viewer's TL.
This is why Big Tech is working against this bill.
#pl 2630#brazil mentioned#except it's a bad thing sorry everyone#and yes I'll stand by the reading that this is all about ad money#otherwise why would google go all weepy saying they might have to stop operations in the country?#that's blatant scaremongering#I'm very furious#oh and I'm posting this to tumblr and in english so that there's something out there about this that hasn't been shadowbanned

Hey, I just noticed something. So I've been blocking bots by the dozen every day, as I'm sure lots of you are. And normally it's a pretty fast and painless thing, just open their blog to make sure it's a bot, and then block them. Then I realized, there's an ad on the right side. Normally my adblocker is up so I don't notice this, but for whatever reason my plugins didn't start up today and I saw it.
Now this might be conspiracy levels of thinking, but I wonder if this is intentional? The person making the bots must know we all check new followers and block bots regularly (which has almost turned into part of tumblr culture at this point), but if we have to click on the blog to check it and block it, then we count as a view for that ad.
The way ads work with google adsense is the space posting the ads gets paid per thousand impressions (CPM) and if someone clicks an ad they normally earn more (CPC). It's normally not much, the average CPM is around $3 per thousand, but if you're a bot following thousands or 10s of thousands of people per day, and even one thousand of those people click the blog to block it, that bot is making $3 a day. Now, how many bots have you gotten today? That all adds up pretty fast over the hundreds or thousands of new bot accounts out there.
Now, I have no idea how ads work on tumblr. I know you can enable ads to make money from views (I think I have this enabled? Maybe on side blogs? I have adsense from youtube so I think I enabled it since I already have an account. I'm not a big enough blog to get paid either way), but I don't know if that payment goes through tumblr in any way, or if they just enable the html to automatically link your adsense ads if enabled. So I don't know if getting an account banned even stops payment or not. Like, if tumblr is hands off and just enables the html so you can do your thing and earn something, then every view before ban is recorded by google, not tumblr, and that counts towards earnings. So they might not care about being banned, because the money is already earned.
Now, I'm not saying we shouldn't keep blocking, but it does make me wonder if they're playing to our need to keep blocking with that in mind from the start.
I'm going to add here, I could be completely wrong. 99% of my adsense knowledge comes from my youtube channel, which works a little differently. It's possible that the banner ads are only CPC and not based on views, but I don't think that's the case from my experience. And honestly I don't even know where to read up on how non-youtube ads work specifically. But, it's definitely something that I think might be possible. If anyone knows more about this, feel free to add to the conversation. Maybe some big blogs who actually earn anything? Does those even exist on here?
#spam bots#stop the bots#tumblr bots#bot shenanigans#pornbots#spam#conspiracy#adsense#ads#Man this feels like one of those things that might be too real but also kind of crazy

Remember, success won't happen overnight, but with determination and the right approach, your blogging journey can lead to financial independence and fulfillment.

1. One of the most common methods is through advertising.
When you have a significant amount of traffic coming to your website, you can sell ad space to businesses that want to promote their products or services to your audience.
These businesses pay you for the exposure they get on your site, and the more traffic you have, the more you can charge for these ads.
You can also collaborate with advertising networks such as Google Adsense, Ezoic, Mediavine, and similar platforms.
By gaining approval from these networks, you position yourself for greater opportunities to generate income through advertising, which is based on the volume of traffic to your website.
2. Another way to monetize your website traffic is through affiliate marketing.
This involves partnering with other businesses and earning a commission for every sale or lead that is generated through your website via your unique affiliate links.
For example, if you have a blog about fitness and you recommend a specific brand of protein powder to your readers, you can include an affiliate link that directs them to the product's website.
If someone makes a purchase using your link, you earn a percentage of the sale.
Of course, these are just a couple of the most important examples that are commonly adopted by website owners, bloggers, influencers, and other content creators.
3. Other ways to make money from website traffic include selling your own products or services directly on your site, offering premium content or subscriptions, consultations, or even hosting sponsored content.
4. But here's the catch - it's not just about getting any kind of traffic to your website.
It's about attracting targeted traffic - people who are genuinely interested in what you have to offer.
For example, if you have a website selling organic weight loss and vitality products, you want to attract people who are interested in health, diet, nutrition, and fitness.
These are generally the people who are most likely to buy from you. This is where SEO (search engine optimization) comes into play.
5. By optimizing your website for relevant keywords and creating high-quality content that appeals to your target audience, you can increase your chances of attracting the right kind of traffic.
SEO helps your website rank higher in search engine results, making it easier for people to find you when they're searching for information or products related to your niche.
“If you need to move the needle on website traffic and conversions, Site Architecture is often one of your toolkit’s most effective SEO levers” – Zyppy
As a bonus, you can further leverage your website traffic to build an email list by offering free, valuable resources as a lead magnet based on your niche.
Subsequently, you can nurture these leads through email marketing campaigns [via email service providers] and ultimately convert them into paying customers.
Comprehensive Ways To Make Money From Website Traffic:
Here are the various ways and methods you can utilize to convert your website traffic into profitable opportunities that align with your unique situation.
In conclusion, yes, website traffic can definitely make money. But it's not just about getting any kind of traffic - it's about attracting the right kind of traffic and providing value to your visitors.
By focusing on SEO and creating compelling content that resonates with your target audience, you can increase your chances of turning that traffic into profit.

Introduction
In the digital age, YouTube has become a powerhouse for content creators to share their passions and connect with millions of viewers worldwide. What's even more exciting is the potential to turn your YouTube channel into a lucrative source of income. In this blog, we'll dive deep into actionable strategies to help you monetize your YouTube channel within just one month. Buckle up and get ready to supercharge your YouTube journey!
Step 1: Find Your Niche
Every successful YouTube channel starts with a clear niche. Think of your channel as a specialized store that offers something unique and valuable to your target audience. To get started, ask yourself:
What are you passionate about?
What knowledge or skills do you possess?
Is there a demand for content related to your interests?
By answering these questions, you'll identify your niche and set the foundation for your channel's success.
Step 2: Create High-Quality Content
Quality is king on YouTube. To attract and retain viewers, focus on creating engaging and well-produced content. Here's how:
Invest in a Good Camera and Microphone: High-quality visuals and audio are essential for viewer retention.
Plan Your Content: Outline your videos, so they have a clear structure and purpose.
Engage with Your Audience: Respond to comments and build a community around your channel.
Step 3: Optimize for Search
YouTube is the second-largest search engine in the world, so you need to optimize your videos for search. Here's how:
Keyword Research: Use tools like Google Keyword Planner or TubeBuddy to find relevant keywords for your niche.
Optimize Titles and Descriptions: Incorporate your target keywords naturally into your video titles and descriptions.
Eye-catching Thumbnails: Create visually appealing thumbnails that grab viewers' attention.
Step 4: Consistency is Key
To build an audience and monetize your channel quickly, consistency is crucial. Stick to a regular posting schedule, whether it's once a week or more frequently. This helps your viewers know when to expect new content from you, keeping them engaged and coming back for more.
Step 5: Promote Your Channel
Don't rely solely on YouTube's algorithm to promote your content. Take charge of your channel's growth by promoting it through other channels:
Social Media: Share your videos on platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
Collaborations: Partner with other YouTubers in your niche for cross-promotion.
Online Communities: Engage in forums and online communities related to your niche, and subtly promote your channel when appropriate.
Step 6: Enable Monetization
Now that you've laid the groundwork for your channel's success, it's time to start making money. To enable monetization, you'll need to meet YouTube's eligibility requirements:
1,000 Subscribers: You must have at least 1,000 subscribers.
4,000 Watch Hours: Your channel must have accumulated 4,000 watch hours in the past 12 months.
AdSense Account: Set up an AdSense account to receive payments.
Once you meet these requirements, you can enable monetization and start earning money from ads, channel memberships, merchandise shelf, and more.
Step 7: Diversify Your Income Streams
While ad revenue is a primary source of income for many YouTubers, don't limit yourself to it. Explore other income streams:
Affiliate Marketing: Promote products or services related to your niche and earn commissions on sales.
Sponsorships: Collaborate with brands for sponsored content.
Merchandise: Create and sell your own merchandise to your loyal audience.
Conclusion
Monetizing your YouTube channel within one month is achievable with the right strategies and dedication. Remember that building a successful channel is a journey, but by finding your niche, creating quality content, optimizing for search, and promoting your channel, you can accelerate your path to financial success. So, start today, and watch your YouTube dreams turn into a profitable reality! Happy YouTubing!

BRUSSELS, June 14 (Reuters) - Alphabet's (GOOGL.O) Google may have to sell part of its lucrative adtech business to address concerns about anti-competitive practices, EU regulators said on Wednesday, threatening the company with its harshest regulatory penalty to date.
The European Commission set out its charges in a statement of objections to Google two years after opening an investigation into behaviours such as favouring its own advertising services, which could also lead to a fine of as much as 10% of Google's annual global turnover.
The stakes are higher for Google in this latest clash with regulators as it concerns the company's biggest money maker, with the advertising business accounting for 79% of total revenue last year.
Its 2022 advertising revenue, including from search services, Gmail, Google Play, Google Maps, YouTube adverts, Google Ad Manager, AdMob and AdSense, amounted to $224.5 billion.
Google has a few months to respond to the charge. It can also ask for a closed hearing in front of senior Commission antitrust officials and their national counterparts before the EU issues a decision in a process that could take a year or more. The company also could potentially settle by offering stronger remedies than previously proposed.
EU antitrust chief Margrethe Vestager said Google may have to sell part of its adtech business because a behavioural remedy is unlikely to be effective at stopping the anti-competitive practices.
"For instance, Google could divest its sell-side tools, DFP and AdX. By doing so, we would put an end to the conflicts of interest," she told a news conference.
"Of course I know this is a strong statement but it is a reflection of the nature of the markets, how they function and also why a behavioural commitment seemed to be out of the question."
Google said it disagreed with the Commission's charge.
"The Commission's investigation focuses on a narrow aspect of our advertising business and is not new. We disagree with the EC's view," Dan Taylor, Google's vice president of global ads, said in a statement.
Vestager said investigations would continue into Google's introduction of a privacy sandbox set of tools to block third party cookies on its Chrome browser and its plan to stop making the advertising identifier available to third parties on Android smartphones.
She said the EU had closely cooperated with competition authorities in the United States and the UK.
The European Publishers Council, which filed a complaint to the Commission last year, welcomed the charge.
The Commission said Google favours its own online display advertising technology services to the detriment of competing providers of advertising technology services, advertisers and online publishers.
It said Google has abused its dominance since 2014 by favouring its own ad exchange AdX in the ad selection auction by its dominant publisher ad server DFP, and also by favouring AdX in the way its ad buying tools Google Ads and DV360 place bids on ad exchanges.
Google is the world's dominant digital advertising platform with a 28% market share of global ad revenue, according to research firm Insider Intelligence.
Google had sought to settle the case three months after the investigation was opened but regulators grew frustrated with the slow pace and the lack of substantial concessions, a person familiar with the matter told Reuters previously.
