The first time I went to the Playa del Carmen/Riviera Maya region two years ago, I totally fell asleep on the bus ride from CUN to Hotel Xcaret Mexico--though I blame how long it took us to get us there given that we spent a good hour driving around the airport picking up people from the other terminals and I didn’t have a great view from the bus windows. This time around for our trip to Playa del Carmen proper, we opted for the private transfer option and I’m absolutely thrilled we did--the peace of mind alone was worth the price.
While I greatly appreciated Xcaret’s approach to making everything inclusive, the one thing I didn’t like was the transfers from airport to hotel and back again. The ride to the hotel took forever, while we had to get up at the crack of dawn to make sure we were on the right bus so that we could leave five hours early for the ride to CUN. Even then, depending on the time of day, that still wasn’t enough time to get to the airport as others in our travel group missed their flights to Europe and similar, which is also quite infuriating! We didn’t have that problem; instead, we wandered around the CUN duty-free that comes right after security screening before making our way to Air Margaritaville eventually and spending way too much time there too.
This time around, we went with Travicons because it was specifically heavily recommended by the Facebook group of the resort we were going to stay at, and I must continue that train by recommending them as well. I was able to easily communicate with them via WhatsApp, my husband spotted them quickly in the scrum that surrounds the Welcome Bar, and they had beers and water bottles in a cooler for us for our drive down to Playa del Carmen, which were greatly appreciated. They also got us to and from our resort quickly and efficiently, and I will forever be grateful for that.
I love that the road that takes you from Cancun to Playa del Carmen and beyond has all of these signs on it, between the tourist signs to the actual useful signs for cities and hotels, etc. I will do another run of these on our way back to soothe my spirit for being bummed that we were leaving.

Cancun Airport Transfers: Your Gateway to Paradise
Introduction
Cancun, with its stunning white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant nightlife, is a dream destination for many travelers. But before you can fully immerse yourself in the beauty and excitement of this Mexican paradise, you need to navigate the logistics of getting to your hotel or resort from Cancun International Airport. This is where Cancun airport transfers come to the rescue, ensuring a smooth and stress-free transition from the airport to your desired destination.
Cancun Airport Overview
Cancun International Airport (CUN) is the second busiest airport in Mexico, serving as the primary gateway for tourists visiting the Riviera Maya and surrounding areas. With its ever-increasing popularity, the airport receives millions of passengers annually. Navigating the airport's customs and immigration procedures, securing your luggage, and finding transportation can be overwhelming. This is where professional Cancun airport transfer services step in, offering a hassle-free solution.
Advantages of Cancun Airport Transfers
Convenience
Upon arriving at Cancun Airport, the last thing you want to do is figure out how to reach your accommodation while battling the language barrier and the unfamiliar local transportation system. Cancun airport transfers are incredibly convenient as they offer door-to-door service. Your driver will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name, ensuring a smooth and stress-free start to your vacation. No more wandering around the airport with heavy luggage, looking for transportation options.
Reliability
Cancun airport transfer services pride themselves on punctuality and professionalism. They understand the importance of a seamless journey from the airport to your destination. By pre-booking your transfer, you can rest assured that your driver will be ready and waiting for you, even if your flight is delayed.
Safety
Traveling to a foreign country can be daunting, especially if you're not familiar with the local customs and road conditions. Opting for a Cancun airport transfer means you'll be in the hands of experienced and safe drivers who know the area well. This not only guarantees your safety but also ensures you can relax and enjoy the scenic drive to your destination without the worry of navigating unfamiliar terrain.
Comfort
Cancun airport transfer vehicles are typically well-maintained, air-conditioned, and spacious. This means you can relax and enjoy the journey, especially after a long flight. Whether you're traveling solo, with a partner, or in a group, there are transfer options available to cater to your specific needs, from standard cars to luxury vehicles and even buses for larger groups.
Local Expertise
Your driver can be a valuable source of local information and recommendations, helping you get the most out of your Cancun vacation. Whether you're looking for the best places to eat, hidden gems, or local insights, your driver can offer valuable suggestions, making your trip more memorable.
Cost-Effective
While some travelers might be concerned about the cost of airport transfers, it's important to consider the overall value. Taking public transportation or a taxi can sometimes be more expensive and less convenient, especially if you're traveling with a group. Pre-booking a transfer can help you budget effectively and avoid hidden costs or price surges that can occur with other transportation options.
Types of Cancun Airport Transfers
Shared Transfers: These are cost-effective options where you share a vehicle with other travelers heading to the same area. While it may take longer due to multiple stops, shared transfers can be a budget-friendly choice for solo travelers or those looking to save money.
Private Transfers: If you value privacy, comfort, and efficiency, private transfers are the way to go. You'll have the entire vehicle to yourself or your group, ensuring a direct and personalized journey to your destination.
Luxury Transfers: For those seeking the ultimate in comfort and style, luxury transfers provide high-end vehicles, often with added amenities like complimentary drinks and Wi-Fi. This option is ideal for honeymooners, special occasions, or travelers looking to make a grand entrance.
Booking Cancun Airport Transfers
Booking Cancun airport transfers is a straightforward process. Most providers offer online booking platforms, making it easy to reserve your transportation in advance. Here's a typical process:
Visit the transfer provider's website.
Enter your flight details, including your arrival date and time.
Choose the type of transfer you prefer (shared, private, or luxury).
Provide your accommodation details and the number of passengers.
Confirm your booking and receive a confirmation email with instructions for your arrival at Cancun Airport.
Conclusion
Cancun Airport transfers are your key to a smooth, comfortable, and stress-free journey from the airport to your destination. They provide a range of options to suit your budget and preferences, ensuring you can start your Cancun vacation on the right foot. With the convenience, reliability, safety, and local expertise they offer, airport transfers allow you to relax and enjoy the beginning of your tropical getaway. So, whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, consider booking a Cancun airport transfer to make the most of your time in this stunning Mexican paradise.

Whether you’re an adrenaline-seeking adventurer or simply looking to take in the sights of this tropical paradise, a catamaran voyage is an unforgettable way to explore one of the most beautiful regions in Mexico.
So what exactly can you expect on such an outing? Allow me to be your guide as I take you through the ins and outs of sailing aboard a Catamaran  Riviera Maya. I’ll tell you all about what type of equipment and amenities are provided, how to choose the best plan for your group, and some tips on how to maximize your time out at sea. Let’s set sail!
Exploring the Riviera Maya on a Catamaran
Exploring the Riviera Maya aboard a catamaran is a sailing experience like no other. From the comfort of your own private yacht, you can get up close and personal with some of the world's most beautiful seascapes, including the Caribbean Sea and its breathtaking coral reefs. Whether you're looking to go on a romantic sunset cruise or set sail on a full-day tour around some of Mexico's renowned beaches, embarking on a catamaran tour is the perfect way to explore this stunning coastal region.
What makes sailing Riviera Maya aboard a catamaran unique? The answer lies in the vessel itself. Catamarans provide a comfortable and spacious accommodation as you travel across this historical landscape—allowing for plenty of room to accommodate large groups or families while still providing an intimate setting. Furthermore, they offer smooth and reliable sailing which makes them ideal for reaching more remote areas around Mexico’s coastline. Finally, the stability of catamarans make them an excellent choice for anyone who suffers from seasickness!
What to Expect on a Cancun Booze Cruise
If you're looking for a truly unique experience in Riviera Maya, then a boat tour is just what you need. A Cancun booze cruise is the perfect way to explore the Caribbean Sea and all its wonders, from crystal blue waters to stunning seascapes and beyond.
So what can you expect when you head out on the open sea? Well, first up, you'll get to take in some incredible views from the comfort of your catamaran. From shoals of colorful fish to dolphins leaping through the waves, and breathtaking views of the jungle-lined beaches, it's a chance to see Riviera Maya's natural beauty in all its glory.
On top of that, you'll get to enjoy some time snorkeling or swimming with your friends and loved ones as you kick back and relax with a few drinks onboard. With drinks included in your package, it's the perfect opportunity to cool off under the hot Mexican sun or simply chat away as you discover hidden gems beneath the waves.
Whether it's a private tour or an organized one that offers access to party spots along the way—you won't soon forget this magical journey through Mexico's Caribbean paradise!
Taking a Riviera Maya Jungle Tour Onboard a Catamaran
It's not just about sailing the seas—you can also explore the lush jungle of the Riviera Maya on a catamaran. Imagine gliding along the coastline with the sun shining and turquoise water, plus tropical birds flying overhead. Sounds like paradise, right?
If you want to experience something truly magical, a Riviera Maya jungle tour aboard a catamaran is perfect. The tour starts off with a mesmerizing sail along the coastline, followed by an exploration of the lush jungle on-shore where you can experience a totally unique ecosystem. Plus, you get to stop along crystal clear inlets and take a dip while admiring amazing rock formations.
Onboard your catamaran there's plenty to see and do—from snorkeling in hidden coves to kayaking or paddle boarding off-shore. Who knows what surprises await? Plus, your expert guide will teach you all about the region's rich culture and provide insight into its ecological significance. There's no better way to explore beautiful Riviera Maya!
Tips for Finding the Best Catamaran and Crew
Are you ready for the sailing excursion of a lifetime? Before you set off, here are some tips to help you find the right catamaran and crew:
Safety First
Make sure the catamaran's crew is experienced and reliable. Ask around before you book your trip and look up reviews on its services. You'll also want to ensure that the catamaran meets all safety regulations before signing up for the journey of your dreams.
Comfort Level
An experienced crew should be able to accommodate your comfort level and make any necessary adjustments. Whether you're an experienced sailor or a novice, they should be more than willing to cater to your needs whether it's sails, navigation or just advice on what to bring along for the trip.
Knowledgeable Guides
A knowledgeable guide can help teach you about the area, provide tips on activities in Riviera Maya and answer any questions you might have about sailing in general. Choose a captain who is passionate about his or her craft and can give you an unforgettable experience!
Availability
The best catamarans will require advance reservations, so make sure to book your spot early if possible. And lastly, when booking a catamaran for a day tour—or multiple days—be sure it's available when you need it. The perfect catamaran could be booked solid during peak months, so plan ahead!

The best places to visit with your family
A family vacation is a great investment because you may need a couch or new carpet but the furniture or the carpet will wear out; but the memories made on a family vacation will last a life time and only grow better with age.
Now where you take your pre-teens may depend on what you want to do or what they like to do.
In my opinion, here are a few of the top 10 family vacations.
Hawaii, go here for your family vacation to enjoy beautiful white sand beaches, towering waterfalls, whales, dolphins, volcanoes and more activities than I could possibly mention.
Washington DC, this family vacation would be educational as your kids would see so much history their head would spin. But if you get your kids involved in researching the different.
Museums and historical sights, let them choose which ones they want to visit, you will be surprised how excited they will get about what they are going to see.
Costa Rica, this is one of my favorite family vacation destinations for those that like adventure and nature. Costa Rican's are so friendly and proud, they want share their beautiful country with you.
While drifting down a river you will see trees full of howling monkeys, toucans and other colorful birds, crocodiles and lizard like creatures that seem to walk on water. On this family vacations you can
Visit frog farms at night and zip through the tree tops during the day or simply relax at the beach.
Gulf Shores Alabama State Park, if you want to stay in the US , this is a wonderful family vacation. It has gorgeous beaches, fishing, skiing, nature hikes, golf and swimming, just to name a few of the things to do.
Colorado Springs area, also a great family vacation spot in the US . Here you can white water raft, horseback ride, go to a cowboy dinner, pan for gold, rock climb; and the list goes on.
Disney, this is a given. But don't forget about Disney in California . It is smaller, but there are so many other things to do in the area that it is a fantastic trip for a family vacation.
Cruises, kids love cruises because they have special activities on board for the different age groups and they make friends and before the cruise is over they will want to have sleep-overs.
Dude Ranches, Texas , Colorado , Wyoming are a few states that have Dude Ranches. These are about the closest thing in the US to an 'all-inclusive' family vacation. Here you can go on trail rides, tube float down a river, watch and sometime participate in a good old fashion rodeo. And most all meals and activities are included in the price. Activities that are included vary.
Riviera Maya, Mexico, this area has some of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico and amazing all-inclusive resorts. Choose the right resort and your kids will never lack for something to do. They can go snorkeling, build sand castles, sail on a sunfish, slide on huge water park slides and all of this is included in the price along with all meals and drinks.
Smuggler's Notch, VT, Located in beautiful mountains, while on this family vacation your family can spend time together mountain biking, fishing, swimming, canoeing, skateboarding, painting, making jewelry, playing golf or just being quiet and enjoying the scenery around you.]
I would always check into purchasing a good travel insurance for your family travel because you never know when you will need it. I always tell my clients 'travel insurance is one of those expenses that if you purchase it and don't need it, then you feel it was a waste of money; but if you don't purchase it and loose all of your money or need the medical part of the insurance while on your trip, then you wish you had purchased the travel insurance'. So it is worth investigating.

Struggling with finding happiness in life? Tune out to social media, skip the epitome of incomprehensible psycho-couch-babble and go spend time with a child.
For the last nine months of my life I have been staying in an AirBnB rental in the Maya Riviera of Mexico. It is a worthy setup most preferred and conducive to constantly meeting new and interesting people and personalities. Having a steady supply of fresh people from all over the world ensures there is never a time without someone to serve as a new teacher in my life. Life is a mirror, what we see in others we are ourselves. Sometimes that can be a prickly thorn of annoyance, a lesson on what we need to work on in ourselves, and at others a wondrous gift in disguise. As with living, it is our perspective that counts most.
There is no doubt you will get knocked down in life, of that you can be assured. The question rather is whether or not you decide to get back up. The rosy glasses through which we choose to view the world ultimately determines the outcome. At each crossroad we face this dilemma as ever present. Otherwise, life is outside of your control – don’t take the drama play too seriously. Like water in a river, learn to go with the flow. How we decide to react to our circumstances sets the path to either suffering or growth. Not many on my journey thus far have willingly chose agony, so there is still hope for those in want.
It is not common but every once and a while an adult is accompanied by a child here at our complex.  One couple, she, Mexican, he, American, stayed here for a short period; only for the female to return later for another stay, but this time she was accompanied by her eight year-old daughter, Ivanka. She settled in as my neighbor and in due time we all became friends. The daughter was extremely timid and guarded at first, taking only but a few requisite princess and tea chat sessions and gifts of sweets to win her over. As her mother was often busy, Ivanka would have no choice but to roam about the courtyard.
Other than your own rug-rats or children of immediate family, whom you are too close to and also a part of their development, it is hard to see every child with “fresh” eyes. There are so many practical lessons missed as a result. How often do you intentionally go out of your way to spend time with adolescents, watching how they maneuver their instantaneous fabricated reality, observing their selfless actions and surprising reactions, conversing with them at their level about things that interest them, or simply being in awe and wonder at their inherent guiltless disposition on seeing the world as one massive funhouse?
Much time outside while having a refreshing tropical fruit juice, meditation or soaking up some sunrays was spent observing Ivanka at play. Without any electronics or applications to steal away her focused attention and stupefy her to the world and nature all about her, I was in utter amazement the creative ways she found to pass time and enjoy her odyssey of perusal. Nothing is off limits! Kids can give rise to their own worlds of boundless radiance as quickly as an adult worries about impending bills or any other pointless trivialities. Kids are busy conquering their latest dream milieu – and its innumerable iterations.
One evening, as her mom talked on the phone, she occupied herself at the public courtyard table where I was enjoying a cup of newly acquired chai tea shipped from India. She was carrying with her two small dye-cutout red castles, a tiny plastic princess figurine and a large stuffed pink hippo named Oscar. She was in her own little sphere; nothing could take her attention away as she transmogrified herself into the beautifully adorned princess and subsequent scenes played out for my viewing delight. The princess liked to hide inside the castles, when not lazily lounging atop the neck of her best friend for life, Oscar.
What a wonderful way to experience life, with not a worry in the world –  gratitude for everything – as it is meant to be – as seen through the irreproachable guilt-free eyes of luminous God-like purity. As is with the perfect divine order of the universe, to kids all things in sight are enchantingly inter-connected, infinitely interchangeable: everything is faultlessly synchronistic, according to their juvenile eyes. As adults we lose the ability to perpetuate the allure and excitement, reverence for the wonderment of the omnipresent supernatural, the omnipotent attendance forever surrounding us on this spinning hot rock.
When the myriad priceless royal scenarios ran dry, off she went frolicking in the rain puddles from an earlier downpour. Nothing mattered to her at that time, succumbed by the instantaneous consciousness of excitement and untold astonishment that aimlessly splashing about in water can illicit – she was living unknowingly in the present. She was experiencing her life in the now, without a care for any distractive foreign stimuli. In sports psychology this is referred to as ‘being in the zone.’ Children do not need to practice mindfulness, it comes preternaturally. They can find untold joy in the tedious hum-drum of life.
Soon after my respite, it was time to head off to the corner market to get some sugary foodstuffs for the evening. I asked Ivanka if she wanted to join me. She finds immense happiness in helping assist others in need. I barely had finished my question and she was already bursting with fiery elation. She insisted on unlocking our front gate and opening the heavy metal door for me to exit safely in my wheelchair. Once at the store, she was unwavering about wanting something sweet. She wasted no time in finding the most decadent chocolate and nut ice cream bar in the store – while grinning an ear-to-ear smile to boot.
She was over the moon that her neighbor not only bought her small delights each day but that he also took her to the store and gave her full consideration of choice over which treat(s) she received. As she was always so well behaved, she was never in lack of favor. She was overflowing with gratitude the whole walk home; replete with absolute authentic gratefulness. We give to others in life to bring them a smile but also because it makes us happy, even releasing feel-good chemical hormones in our brain – a type of a ‘mental-gasm.’ The more you assist others in life, the better you feel. Give it a whirl sometime.
Some other days we would just chat about her day or homework or dreams of the future. It goes wholly without saying her biggest dream is to be a princess, living in an enchanting castle.  In the middle of our conversations, as soon as something caught her attention, without haste or hesitation, hurriedly she would run off with a sparkle in her eye – most often to something small an adult would overlook – such as the blossom of a new flower, an unknown bug or an impending rain storm. Nothing is off limits to the imagination of children; mysterious and otherworldly creation is always at the forefront of contingency.
As adults we have lost our effervescent God-innocence, our admiration and fascination at everything our eyes see, the thrill of new smells and adventure of new tastes, the spectacular feeling of living in a world that truly is our playground – we have lost our ability to find pleasure in living life, in appreciating the small things, in not yearning for tomorrow – in our ability to live in the now. We are too busy living in the past (depression) and the future (anxiety). We have been trained like Pavlov’s dog, responding to the bell, under the choking societal confines and rules meant to keep you a caged and obedient robot.
Tat Tvam Asi – “thou art that” in Sanscrit – the relationship between the Absolute and the individual in Hinduism. You are me, and I am you – we are the same, one shared conscious – undefined indescribable mysterious energy: God. We are all in the same boat; when the water rises, all boats rise. Children live their lives God-like, only for the present moment, able to metamorphose no end of marvel and suspend judgment enough to find the divine touch in all things. Buddhists speak on the beginners mind, being a child that knows nothing, seeing the glory of God’s existence and creation enveloping us at all times.
Children are naturally aligned by love; they are born knowing no different. Children are a by-product of what they learn and mimic from parents and peers. Over time this view becomes adulterated with the stresses and responsibilities of living in a vessel – an ethereal body covered in a meat-draped costume, on a hot boulder of magma flying through space; in a life where happiness is incessantly chased but often eluded; in an era with more wealth and access to information in all of history, yet we do all we can to avoid from plumbing the intense chasmic ineradicable depths of our heart and soul to find our “self.”
The mind itself is incapable of answering the bigger esoteric questions of humanity – the riddles of the universe are unanswerable. Dr. Seus considered adults as “outdated children.” Life does not come with an open guide book. If it did, life would be boring: one would never face challenges or obstacles that impel him to find out who he is, essentially what he is made of, or his eventual primary purpose. Neither fruitless exoteric inquiry nor intellect is sufficient; it is only through probing inspection of the heart that one can attain inner peace, contentedness, happiness. Children, with minds still unmolded, innately live thru heart-conscious, spending everyday living by way of perpetual stimuli and emotions, not intellect.
For it is through the profound innocence of solipsism, being the center of the world, that allows for the exploration of the child by dint of interaction with their environment and others, concluding that he is not the world but a part of it – his own little person. Children have no natural inborn prejudices or set ideations of things, people and places – they are pure of heart. This allows them to see others through a prism of love, ultimately teaching them that the world is smiles and laughter. Over time this innocence of sight loses focus to living life and how we perceive it; the mundane daily responsibilities of adulthood.
We are indescribably complex spiritual beings of light, living out this flash of a lifetime in spirit school on earth. We are created in God’s image of pure light, an imperceptible invisible vibration of flawless love, but the farther we suppress the self through the busyness and stresses of everyday life, the multitude of contemptible vices, whether psychological, mental, social, chemical or other, at all times losing sight of the “I” behind the “I,” we corrupt our child’s mind  – which is perfectly illustrated by Sri R. Maharshi’s instruction: “Just Be” –  therefore inflating the egoic conscious, moreover reducing our supernal sub-conscious valve, and to a great extent constricting the consummate symbiosis, the indelible connection to the Absolute source, our higher-self, our not-self, our cosmic-conscious, our super-conscious, God.
The older we get the further removed we are from the feeling of being a child awestruck by our intense surroundings. We no longer see life as simple – we treat it too seriously. We forget that we are all actors in a play of cosmogenic proportions. As you move forward, forging an onerous course on the road less traveled, the eternal quest of illumination of the heart, consider once more being a kid again, finding your inner-child, discovering your inner-Christ, your inner-God-conscious. Finding the child within will evermore reignite your soul and help you find bewilderment in everything you see and experience in life. So what if people think you are strange – the enchanting star-filled possibilities are without limit.
It all starts with being a child. What are you waiting for? Go be a child again. Your Happy Meal awaits!

Their family and friends were so welcoming and loving, and the day of the wedding came and went like a breeze. The picturesque, tropical landscape served as the relaxing spot for their 60-some guests, and not only was the resort absolutely perfect, I was treated like family. Catherine and Zach have impeccable taste, and treating their guests to a good time while there was important to them. Photographing their wedding at Unico 2087 Hotel and Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico was like dream. That’s just one small sampling of the many stories I’ve heard about the two of them, and after getting to know them over the last year, I just know they are going to be so happy in their life together. Zach sent her flowers “to Liz” just because he knew it would mean the world to Cat. The first month they were dating was the first year Cat had to celebrate her sister’s birthday since she’d passed. They’ve spent their time growing together. It’s a beautiful, unselfish love. Of everything I’ve loved about getting to know them, though (besides how sweet they both are and our shared love for travel), by far my favorite is that when they do something, they are in it together – they are always thinking of the other and making decisions with the other in mind. Cat and Zach have had many date and wine nights here in Cincinnati, traveled the globe together, got engaged in Paris, and got married in Mexico. They met while working the surgical trauma ICU together, and from there, they started their adventures.

The Truth Behind All-Inclusive Resorts in the Riviera Maya - What You Need to Know
Tumblr media
The Riviera Maya is one of the hottest vacation spots (no pun intended) and accounts for 40% of the tourism dollars of Mexico. All-inclusive resorts line the Riviera Maya coast to facilitate massive numbers of visitors, and these tourists often feel secure staying at a resort in a foreign land such as Mexico. But in determining whether an all-inclusive resort is right for you, you should consider some little-known facts about such resorts, regarding eating at the better restaurants, the type of alcohol you consume, and the tours outside the resort when you want to venture off the property. This article will aim to show you a few of the snags when staying at an all-inclusive resort and what other options you have in the Riviera Maya.
If you desire more than just buffet food for the length of your stay at a resort, be aware that many Riviera Maya resorts have deterrents in place to not make it too easy to eat at their better sit-down restaurants. Oftentimes, the resort will require you to make a reservation if you want to eat at a sit-down restaurant. While this seems reasonable on the surface, it is actually designed to discourage numbers of tourists from eating at the better restaurants. First, the resort may often require you to make such reservations a day in advance. So, at the very least, if your resort requires this, you will not be able to eat at a sit-down restaurant the first day of your stay!
And they may be able to only take such restaurant reservations during certain hours in the morning, further limiting when you can secure a meal at one of their better restaurants. If you have been up late drinking the night before or if you have a tour reserved outside the resort in the morning, this can be a very inconvenient time. And then the resort will require you to wait in line for the concierge to make the reservation. It is only one line and because of the limited time allowed to place the reservations, the line is often long and requires a long wait, something you may not want to do on your vacation. This is even more frustrating when in the evening, if you stop by one of the restaurants, you may notice that a particular restaurant has many open tables but will not allow you to eat at the restaurant without a reservation. So when researching to stay at any Riviera Maya resort, consider contacting the resort and asking their policy for making dinner reservations.
Another concern if you are thinking about staying at an all-inclusive resort in the Riviera Maya is the quality of their alcohol. Some resorts will advertise that they serve certain top-shelf alcohol. But be aware that some resorts, while they advertise they serve top-shelf alcohol, may only offer such top-shelf alcohol only at particular bars. These bars may not always be accessible or easy to get to. So, if top-shelf alcohol is important to you, inquire with the resort before making your reservations to determine whether they provide such top-shelf alcohol at all their bars or only a select few and how easily accessible those bars are. An excellent tool is the Riviera Maya EZ-Locator which will allow you to search for vacation rentals by owner instead of resorts, and locate only those villas or condos that meet certain conditions, such as whether restaurants are within walking distance or if top-shelf alcohol can be provided in your vacation rental on the Riviera Maya. Click here the london resort
Finally, many tourists do not realize that Riviera Maya resorts want to keep the tourists on the property, spending money at the resort. The resort knows it has tourists locked-in, so to speak, so it charges a premium for many services. Tours to explore the Riviera Maya outside the resort are another way that resorts like to charge premium prices. For example, at one resort I know, the resort charges $100 per person for a tour to a nearby ruin. And this is on a crowded bus with other tourists. Now if you like to stay with a group like that and not venture off on your own, then this may be for you. But one can simply grab a private cab outside the resort, pay $25 for a one-way trip to the ruins, and pay $5 for the entrance fee. Round trip that's $55 and you get the privacy of your own cab, you can explore the ruins at your own leisure, and you didn't have to wait in line at the resort to book the tour. Consider venturing outside the resort for better deals on tours or exploring the Riviera Maya yourself via a cab or rental car.

“You must have made a really good first impression,” Tatiana commented, blowing out a ring of smoke. Her charcoal lined eyes creased with her pleased smile.
You shrugged, “I was just working.”
“Don’t try to be modest now. It’s not becoming on you,” she laughed in response.
She had called you into her office to tell you that you had been specifically requested for an assignment. It seemed Tony and Steve’s mob were going to be taking a vacation and they wanted you available. You were not one to turn down a paid vacation, especially if they were going to be there. As dangerous as they were, they had been a good fuck and Tony had made sure to get you off. That was far more than probably eighty percent of the people you had been with since you started working the service.
You hated the smell of the cigarette smoke and it was always the hovering stench in her office. She was going to kill herself far too young and maybe shave a few years off your life in return for however she made you stand in here. You adored her, there was no doubt about that. But you wished she would kick the habit.
“Where are they going?” you asked, feigning that you were contemplating about refusing the assignment.
“Riviera Maya.” You narrowed your eyes and she said, “It’s in Mexico.”
An inclusive resort no doubt. It could be fun. Maybe you could ask someone to travel with you so you would not be completely alone when they were not wanting to bed you. Or maybe not… some time alone might do you well.
Tatiana added, “Wives are going to be there though.”
“So, why am I gonna be there?” you asked honestly.
Tatiana snorted, “Oh, stellina.” She took another deep inhale exhaling as she said, “There are so many things there to keep the spouses occupied. They’re rarely together except for dinner. It’s just for appearances.”
Rich people’s lives sounded exhausting.
“You just need to be out in the open, keeping yourself available for them whenever they have an opportunity to slip away and have some fun with you. Otherwise, just keep yourself occupied with the beach and nice drinks. I know you hate suntanning but there are shops to poke around in. I know you like shopping.”
“That I do.”
“Maybe they’ll give you extra.”
“I don’t want to go around trying to get greedy.”
Tatiana smirked at that. “That’s my girl. I trained you well.”

Pushing your sunglasses up onto your head, you hopped up onto one of the barstools on the bar you had just walked by and circled back to. You had yet to see either Tony or Steve and you had been here since yesterday. The place was relaxing and the room was great. You had basically sunk into the bed, having one of the best nights of sleep you had had in a long while without any noise from Elisha in her room along your wall back home. Leaning over the counter, you asked for a strawberry lemonade.
“Strawberry lemonade? It’s a party, dollface.”
You recognized that voice and you straightened back up, turning your head to look in his direction.
Steve was standing there, leaning on the counter. He was a sight for sore eyes. He was only in swim trunks, aviator glasses perched on the bridge of his nose. That did not hide the fact you knew his eyes were running unabashedly over your body. Your stomach fluttered at the sight of him, thinking of how he handled you last time.
“I bought this specifically for this vacation,” you said, hopping down from the stool and turning around for him to let him see the whole suit. When you turned back around, he was grinning. “It looks good right?”
He nodded, “You look damn sexy.”
“That’s what I like to hear.”
“My wife is here,” Steve said, and you frowned instantly at this immediate change in conversation. Was he trying to kill the mood so quickly? He said, “I know. She’s got her little masseuse guy here to keep her entertained, so I should be able to have my own fun. But I’m trying to be good.”
Picking up on his hint, you sauntered towards him. Your hand came up, resting on his chest. “Why do you have to be good if she isn’t being good?”
“I had to hold it in until she ran off,” he told you.
You pulled his sunglasses down to see his eyes, keeping them on the bridge of his nose. You smiled when you were able to actually meet his gaze.
“Well, when do you get to not be good?”
“Right now,” he said and you smiled in response. “It’s why I came and found you. I saw you yesterday. Wandering around. Took everything in me to not come up to you. Looked like you found yourself a nice little boyfriend though?”
“He was trying really hard but no… no dice for that guy,” you told him.
You pushed his glasses back up and your arms wrapped around his neck. He grinned back at you, his fingers tracing along your exposed back.
“I’m assuming you’re liking what you’re seeing?”
“Very much,” he murmured, his fingers playing with the hem of your suit.
You nuzzled your nose to his. “Hmm. So we know where this is going?”
<><><>
You stood in front of the mirror, completely bare. Steve had brought you back to their villa. Tony’s wife was gone, off to a spa treatment. The room had a wide door open to the patio overlooking the ocean. There was a hot tub and pool on the patio and although you wanted to indulge, you refrained. You got undressed for them instead, waiting for them to get antsy enough to take charge. It did not take long as you predicted.
Tony came up from behind you, nude as well. His hands ran across your breasts, cupping.
“Don’t you look marvelous…” he murmured, his fingers tweaking at your erect nipples. You bucked ever so slightly, and he smirked. His nose came to nuzzle into the nape of your neck. “I knew I chose right… a perfect gem.”
“You still seem to like what you’re seeing?”
He chuckled, one hand snaking down to toy with the top of your sex.
“You’re gonna look even better underneath that mirror.”
You turned in his arms, your forehead pressing against his. “A man that likes to review his work. I don’t know if I should be worried.”
“I didn’t get to where I am by being a half ass.”
Steve was at your other side and he enveloped you to him. To both of them, you asked, “Any critiques?”
“Loaded question,” Steve chuckled. “I mean, the biggest is you haven’t sunk one of your holes on either of us. I mean, it’s been a whole five minutes. What’s the hold up?”
“Sorry, I was enjoying the company.”
He kissed the tip of your nose lightly, “And I’m sorry for being so charismatic.”
“I’m assuming you can’t multitask then? Be charismatic and fuck me at the same time?”
A low growl left his mouth now, “You’ve got a mouth on you.”
“Are you complaining?”
“Not at fucking all,” he told you pulling you over to the bed.
Steve was looking upwards, and you knew he was taking in the sight of you hovering over him as you sunk onto his length in the ceiling mirror. His eyes were swimming with arousal and you hoped to always be the cause for that.
<><><>
“Y/N, you got a gift,” Wendy said, pointing at the table as you walked into the brothel’s kitchen. You had come in to get a drink but smiled seeing the bouquet and gift.
“Really?” you asked, letting your backpack fall from your shoulder and along with your carry-on drop to the ground. You had just gotten back from Mexico; that was quick if it was from who you thought it was. Upon seeing the flowers, you knew your assumption had been correct. They had asked you what your favorite flowers were and even though that was extremely obvious why they were asking, you had told them all the same.
The bouquet was large and there was a nice heart balloon in the center. You smiled, leaning in and smelling the flowers deeply.
“Where’d you get those from?” Elisha asked, coming into the kitchen. You shrugged, smiling sheepishly, and she rolled her eyes, giving a little laugh, “I know exactly where those came from.”
“There’s also this,” you said picking up the gift bag from beside it, waving it at her.
“That’s dangerous,” Elisha commented, grabbing the bloody mary that Wendy had made her. They must have had a rough night.
You shrugged again, opening the bag. Your lips curled into a smile as you pulled out a bright blue teddy. “Cute,” you giggled. Elisha and Wendy shook their heads, taking a drink. You held it up against your body and asked, “Think they want me to wear it for next time?”
“I don’t think they bought it for shits and giggles,” Wendy snorted. “How was the trip?”
“It was nice.”
“Good to hear it. You should relish in this.”
“Oh, I am,” you said, putting the teddy back into the bag. You thought of the extra money that Steve had tucked into your bag, remembering that you should tuck that away. It was smarter to not spend all the money that was thrown at you. That is what fools did; you needed to think ahead.
<><><>
The dress was loose and casual, perfect for the saloon they had asked you to meet them at. They had sent a car for you and met you at the curbside. When you got out, you looked around, cocking an eyebrow at the sight of them dressed in nice, pressed jackets. You were going into a dive bar, what were they doing?
Tony took your arm, Steve trailing behind. “Hmm, a sun pattern,” Tony commented, his fingers pulling at the fabric of your dress.
You gripped his arm, smiling. “I like to be a shining beacon in people’s lives.”
Tony chuckled in response, his grip tightening on your waist. The bouncer did not ask for your IDs; they must know them. It was dimly lit, packed. There were dancers on the stage and your eyes were drawn to their movements. The woman dancing had curves to die for.
“Where we going?” you asked as they led you through the bar. Your eyes ran around the tables the further you went in. Did they have a reservation?
“For the real party, sweetheart,” Tony told you, his lips brushing your ear. You shivered at the touch.
It was dark back here and you tensed. Tony felt it, a light chuckle leaving his lips. “Don’t worry, sweetheart. I got you.”
Two men were standing in front of a door and they opened it when they saw the three of you approaching. There was a table with a group of other men, looking like they were waiting for the three of you. There were a handful of other women sitting around the perimeter of the room behind the players. They made brief eye contact with you, sizing you up quickly before averting their eyes again.
“Took you fucking long enough,” one of them drawled at Tony and Steve.
“Sorry, we were waiting for our lucky dame,” Tony returned.
Tony kissed your hand as you sat, before he turned away and sat in his chair. Steve’s hand grazed you affectionately, before he sat down as well.
You sat quietly, watching them play. It was poker, that much you knew. It was intense, the tension in the room could be cut with a knife. They were taking this seriously and you surmised they were gambling a bunch of money.
Steve was staring across the table at the first man who had spoken to them when they walked in, his eyes narrowed. The other man was not flinching but something must have been a tell for Steve because he pushed chips forward.
“Well, senator… I’m gonna raise you,” Steve commented.
Your heart stopped a bit, hearing him call him that. Your eyes narrowed at the man across the table. You did not pay attention to politics but the way the man’s face scrunched at Steve’s tone… you knew he had to be one. A senator. What had you let them drag you into?
The man chewed on his lip before throwing his cards down on the table without showing what they were.
Steve’s mouth broke into a wide grin and he held out his hands.
“Fuck you, Rogers,” the man snarled before getting up from the table. He buttoned his suit jacket, leaving the room without a second glance.
“Sore loser,” Steve commented, much to the amusement of the other men at the table to your surprise. You thought they would be more angry about losing the money they had but maybe the man had been a common enemy.
They gathered up the chips, tossing them into a bag. Tony’s hand snaked around your waist.
“Wanna spend this?” Tony asked, grinning broadly, holding the bag up to you as he guided you towards the door. You giggled and he kissed your cheek. “Steve’s treated us. But especially you, baby.”
<><><>
Pulling your dress back on over your head, you straightened it, making sure it was covering your ass. It was short and you did not need to be flashing anyone on the sidewalk.
“You sure you don’t want me to order you a cab…?” the man asked from behind you, taking a long drag on his joint. He was still lying in bed, watching you get dressed.
Confidently, you turned around, fluffing your hair. You shook your head, “It’s not too far. I’ll be fine.”
“You’re a tough cookie,” he said, shooting you a smile.
“I try to be,” you said winking at him, grabbing your purse.
You left his place quickly, heading back to the brothel. It was not a lie, it was not far.
The distance did not matter though when it came to what was waiting for you outside.
A hand closed around your arm, yanking you into an alley. You screamed but another hand slapped across your mouth as you were slammed up against the wall. Your heart was pounding, your eyes wide in fear staring at your assailant.
Your fear melted away to a mixture of anger and disgust. You would recognize those hazel eyes anywhere. You had stared into them far too many times as he towered over you, beating you into submission. You had run away from them far too many times, locking yourself in the bedroom until he got tired of trying to beat the door down.
Garnering strength from a place you did not know existed, you shoved him away, much to his surprise. He did not expect you to fight back, and he stumbled back.
“Have you been fucking following me?” you demanded, your chest heaving.
“Just interested to see what you’ve been doing since you ran off. Looks like you are visiting a bunch of men,” Jared sneered at you, getting back on his game and closing the space between you. Your fists clenched by your sides and he noticed, smirking. “You gonna hit me?”
“No,” you spat.
“So, what’s got you leaving someone’s apartment this time of night, baby?”
“That is none of your business.”
He shoved you back into the wall and you winced against the cement scratching at your skin. You swallowed it though, clenching your jaw, glaring at him. You were acting far braver than you felt. Jared always had the power to make you feel small and weak and it seemed just his presence had that same power. You felt just as helpless as you did a year and a half ago. He was frightening; you knew what violence he could unleash.
“What’s this?” Jared asked, yanking at your purse.
“Nothing, it’s my purse!” you said, your hands closing around it to try to yank it back from him.
“Looks pretty expensive, Y/N… Marc Jacobs? What have you been up to?”
He gave another hard yank, and the chain broke and you hissed against the pressure against your shoulder as it snapped away from you. You reached for it and he shoved you back again, harder this time and you let out a pained noise. Your eyes searched the buildings that surrounded you, hoping someone would be looking out the windows and be able to come to help you. It looked like no such luck.
He yanked out the hundreds the man you had just left had given you.
His eyes were dark, glowering at you. “Where’d you get this?”
“From work!”
His backhand was swift, knocking you off balance. But he was there to catch your falling momentum only to slam you up against the wall for the third time, his forearm pressed into your throat. You gasped, trying to breathe.
“You left me to spread your legs all over the city?”
“What are you talking about?” you exclaimed pitifully, trying to deny it. Your hands clawed at his arm and he only pressed in harder, making you gasp more desperately.
“I saw you go into that building with that man. Yes, I was following you! And you come back out with all this money? I shouldn’t be surprised. You always were a worthless slut.”
Tears pricked at your eyes and he growled, “You always did cry too soon for my liking.”
Your purse fell to the ground and his other hand reached up between your legs. You tried to fight him, and he socked you this time. Your head knocked against the wall and you saw stars.
Jared pushed away and you crumpled to the ground, gasping for air. You squeezed your eyes tightly, trying to gain back some sense of balance.
“Hey!” you heard someone shout from far off.
All you could see was Jared’s shoes coming in and out of your vision. You felt a sharp pain in your stomach making you lose all your breath before his shoes were gone. You blinked again before losing consciousness as you saw a new pair of shoes come into your line of sight.

How Puerto Morelos is Drawing The Attention of The Visitors?
Tumblr media
Puerto Morelos is an anti-glowing Yucatan town on the Mexican Caribbean coast, as is Cancun and the Beach of Carmen. Eco-reserve designations by the government are protecting against excessive over-development of the living coral reef and lush mangroves—and the hamlet itself. This Riviera Maya city is all about the outdoor, from thrilling jungle and scuba diving experiences to peaceful bike trips and beach treatments. Regarding accommodation, book one of the Puerto Morelos Oceanfront Luxury Condo at an unbelievable cost.
Whenever there’s a tropical destination, one thing is obvious to talk about the idyllic beaches. One of the best water (so far) to swim and enjoy being in the sea. The Caribbean waters. It's a spot to get into the sea and take it for all its wonderful things. Although the beaches in Puerto Morales had quite a few sea algae, the water was fairly warm and quiet due to the reef.
In the middle of the city lies the major beach at Puerto Morelos, beside Pelicanos Restaurant, right outside the city center (town square). There are other private beach sections on both sides of the main beach, which are utilized by beach clubs, private homes, and holiday rentals. Just with the Playacar Beaches, these sections are the first to offer their visitors, with condo and hotel guests having beach chairs. Go to the finest beach location where people love to hang out and repeat visits. To accommodate here, a wide range of Mexico Oceanfront Vacation Rentals are available for your comfort. They are designed with authenticity and are filled with modern amenities.
One of the main reasons to stay in Puerto Morelos, it is not crowded. In Yucatan, you’ll generally see the crowds that Cancun, Cozumel, or Playa Del Carmen attract. So when it is about reasons to go to Puerto Morelos, this is a huge one!
