Adrenaline rush repotting and I DIY-ed pots made out of my empty quaker oatmeal container. And I just added some few nice quirks out of my art stored collections. So, it doesn’t look boring. Coz if we love planting, it means we care about mother nature, so we really should recycle too. Recycling is life.♻️ Inabutan na ng hating gabi. Goodnight mother cactus and baby cactuses! 🌵
Bukas naman let’s repotting baby chilli sprouts and baby tomato sprouts in an ice cream containers muna. Hehe. Saka ko lang sila e repotting ulet pagsturdy na roots nila. I don’t eat raw tomato but I need it in my soup and sauté. Sana they’ll quickly grow and reproduce agad. I think It’s eggzoitng planting veggies, herbs and flower seeds by myself. In shaa Allah. Ameen.
I’ve been dreaming about having my own garden someday coz maybe I’ve seen my parents planting too. And my early childhood were spent in an urban area which most of the neighborhood has their gardens. And we used to have garden too even here in Marawi before, and Mom’s indoor pots are everywhere in the house. I could always remember her orchids, anthurium plants, other indoor plants which I’m not familiar with, coz hindi pa kase uso nun ung mga monstera plants, basta all I can remember— they’re tall green plants, and some plants with reddish leaves. Mom’s roses, pink and white bougainvilleas in our house in CdeO. I suddenly remember, back in biology in highschool, I proposed my investigatory project out of my own idea and inspiration of bougainvillea color pigments as an ink for stamps. Coz I used to collect sanrio characters stamps. So, I’ve experienced collecting bougainvillea flowers, mostly while I’m playing back then (you know when we were kids anything is as if possible☺️) and crushed them and collect its water or juice which were reddish pink and I used it as my ink in my stamps when I ran out of ink. And it’s working, I just make sure its sticky. So, I remember Ma’am Nadj found it interesting and she even announced it in class how unique my idea. And she said that is how an investigatory project supposed to be. Though it’s easy and simple but it’s my own discovery, research, experience, findings and product. It was not copied anywhere or from previous investigatory projects. She approved it and even assessed me how to write my objectives. Coz I’m not really good in methodological writing. Well, I added this memory coz, I suddenly remember my memory about gardens and planting. Especially, pink bougainvilleas in an investigatory project in biology class. Hihi. And...Nkkamiss lang tlga si Mommy and Dad.😞 Mom stopped planting when Dad died. Namatay din lahat ng plants niya. Some were given away. I knew it, she’d been so depressed pero pinapakita lang tlga niya na strong siya. She busied herself instead investing with our convenient store where you can buy all kinds of basic needs, miscellaneous and especially sch supplies and photocopy or printing machines. Computer shops. She continued finishing the floors both houses she and dad started to build to have more spaces for rent. She gave capitals for business each of my kuya right after they graduate college. Encourage them to find a work or business as early as they graduate. Giving them chances while single and believing them that through that capital they could live their own and afford their own cost of living eventually. And also other businesses she invested. Like airline ticketing which she employed me as the owner. She said it was her advance gift to me coz I was about to graduate college then and I have to manage it but, our business head chairman was fraud. Dietary supplements and herbal medicines dealership like Excellence and Classique she even enrolled me as a member, which I wasn’t so interested of anything of those before and I was so rebellious, huhu, I’m really sorry Mom. She must have been so worried for our future without Dad. Coz she used to say her salary weren’t enough for all of us if she don’t work hard. And make good use what Dad had left. She completely forgot about her hobbies, but she used to have a time and never skip her Islamic seminar, Quran reading and tafsir class. But also sometimes she used to remember and tells me, when you plant someday— you should plant herbs instead of other plants. Herbs are important in the kitchen and in health medication. Coz that was the time she was diagnosed that she was getting more ill. I always miss you Mommy and Dad. *tears* May Allah always bless you and elevate you both in highest place in Jannah for being so good parents to us. Ameen.
Well, just Alhamdulillah for today. I think I deserve some rest?
Goodnight, self. —_—
