i do not understand this post and at this point i'm too afraid to ask
#how on earth does a degree in medieval studies prepare you for a ma in bioinformatics#do people not need any kind of qualifications and/or prior experience to start a master's degree#like. i could have chosen to do bioinformatics for my master's next year but i'd need some exams to prove i can do basic programming#and I don't qualify i need one more bc i chose bioelectromagnetism instead#how on earth does the american college education works dnsbxsjwk#i guess this person could have learned programming on their own and didn't have to learn idk R from zero#but how on earth did the people accepting their application know that? shouldn't they require a certification of cs skills? like a ba?
