Take Us With You
Day 9 ~ Christmas Life Day fair/market ~ late shopping (together) ~ Hunter & Omega, Hunter x Reader
Word Count: 850 Content: fluff, talk about legacy, mentions of clones accelerated aging
You clung to Hunter’s hand, trying your best not to get separated from him in the bustling crowds of Life Day Festival goers. You could tell he was uncomfortable, but the poor, sweet man was determined to pick out gifts for each of his siblings, even if Life Day was tomorrow.
“We still need something for Omega,” he grumbled as the two of you sat outside a small cafe, sipping hot cocoa. He’d looked at practically every booth for just the right thing, considering your suggestions, but nothing sat right with him.
“Darling,” you smiled softly at him. “You know she’s going to love whatever you give her, don’t you?”
He sighed. “Yeah, I know,” he agreed. “It’s just– she’s growing up, you know? I mean it was easier just a few years ago. I could get her a stuffed toy or art supplies–”
“She would still love art supplies.”
“She doesn’t draw as much as she used to.” He sighed again, pulling his silver-streaked hair loose from the small bun he’d situated at the back of his head, rubbing at his scalp. You watched his eyes grow sad. “I want her to have something that will last. She’s gonna be the last of us left. We always thought we wouldn’t live long enough to have a legacy but then she came along and now, it’s her.”
You gripped his hand. “You’ve raised a kind, smart, capable young woman, Hunter. That’s a beautiful legacy to leave behind. And I think I have an idea.”
The next morning, you rose lazily to find your husband still snoozing. You smiled. It had taken so long to get him to not only be able to sleep comfortably for more than a couple hours at a time, but to sleep deeply enough to wake after the sun rose.
You scooched yourself closer, brushing his long hair from his face so you could press soft kisses against his jaw.
“Mmm?” he hummed, his eyes barely open.
You smiled at him. “Good morning, sergeant.”
He hummed again. “Too early,” he decided, lifting the blanket to flop it over top of you.
“It’s Life Day, honey,” you laughed. “If we don’t get up soon, our bedroom is going to be invaded by–”
As if on cue, the door to your room slid open, revealing Omega and Batcher.
Batcher was on the bed in an instant, giving hushed barks as she bounded onto Hunter, licking his face. Omega laughed from the doorway, where you joined her as the ambush quickly turned into a hound wrestling match.
After begging, pleading, and eventually bribing with the promise of Wrecker’s cookies, Batcher jumped off the bed, trotting off to the kitchen.
“Morning,” Omega laughed as she left.
When the two of you finally came downstairs, Wrecker was making breakfast with Omega and Batcher working as enthusiastic taste-testers.
Echo had gotten in yesterday and was sitting at the table on a datapad, still looking somewhat asleep as he sipped his caf.
It wasn’t long before the doorbell rang, revealing Crosshair, Tech, and Phee.
Gifts were exchanged and your little house on Pabu was filled with laughter, joy, and warmth.
Once everything began to settle down, you knew there was one more gift being given.
Omega had made her way to the balcony outside for some fresh air, and a moment later, Hunter joined her.
“Hey kid,” he smiled.
She chuckled. “Not so much a kid anymore,” she said, her lips growing into a smirk. “Old man.”
Hunter laughed and agreed. “I know, I know. You’re all grown up.” He went quiet for a moment, watching the waves lap against the docks not far below the house. “You know, Mega, I tried to find the perfect thing to give you today. We even went off-world to a festival to look at their shops. But in the end, I couldn’t come up with anything that felt right.”
“Hunter, you know I’d like anything–”
“I know, I know,” he waved her off. “But I wanted to get the right thing. This might be the last one of these we’ve got with you–
Omega balked. “Don’t talk like that!”
“I didn’t mean it like that. Omega, I know you’ve been talking to Echo about joining the rebellion,” he smirked at her.
“Ah,” she sighed. “I wondered if you knew.”
He took her hand. “You’re going to do great things, kid, and Echo, Rex, and the others aside,” he gestured to their brothers inside. “We’re getting too old to keep up with you out there.”
He reached up, untying his ever-present bandana, letting the curls it typically held back fall in his face. “Clone Force 99 is gonna live on in you long after we’re gone and I want you to take us with you in a small way.”
He set it atop her head and tied it under her ponytail. She was beaming. Once he stepped back to admire it, she made a couple of little adjustments.
“How does it look?” she grinned.
“It suits you,” he said, pulling her into a tight hug.

Looking at this I can't stop thinking about how now they're going to live day by day, enjoying a peaceful life full of love and laughter in their little slice of heaven, and one of those days Hunter will be hit with a realization that he doesn't have to kneel to be on Omega's eye level anymore. And his back will creak when she falls asleep under that tree and he'll pick her up to carry her to bed. Another day he'll notice she's too tall to be seamlessly tucked under his chin. And she'll show up to breakfast one morning with his bandana in her hair because it got long enough. One of those days she'll become too tall, too big, too old to be carried around but it won't stop her from jumping onto Wrecker's back. People will turn around when she walks by and it will dawn on him that it's because of her beauty. She'll pick up a knife and twirl it between her fingers as smoothly as he used to do and she won't even think about it much but he'll be replaying it in his head for days.
And one day he'll hear the words he's been secretly dreading for over a decade. She'll get her own ship. Get in touch with some old friends, maybe find some new ones. She'll tell him that she's ready, then hug him just like she used to do when she was a little girl. And it will break his heart into a million pieces but he'll watch with a smile as she flies to the sky, ready for her next adventure. And he'll know that he raised her right.

For shits and giggles, here are the hyper-specific descriptors my brain came up with for the Bad Batch:
Hunter
Sexy bandana man with a voice like good whiskey who got hit hard with the Dad genes
Crosshair
Hissy quasi-feral rescue cat with an injured paw (who likes one (1) person)
Note — My brain came up with Crosshair’s descriptor long before season 3 dropped. Season 3 proved how right my brain was.
Tech
Chaotic autistic badass AKA being the smart one does not automatically make you the responsible one (it just means you have extra reasons to be a chaotic little shit)
Wrecker
Emotionally intelligent gentle giant bruiser who needs a budget and supervision when he goes to buy fireworks
Echo
God’s favorite chaos gremlin had to become the Mom Friend (and he’s really grumpy about it)
Omega
Kind, compassionate, caring, and chaotic feral ball of sunshine

Nail Polish - Hunter (TBB)
Summary: After Omega shows an interest in some nail polish, you steal some for her. Hunter pretends to be annoyed. Length: 1816 words Warnings: Female Reader; Former Bounty Hunter Reader; No Physical Description of Reader; No Y/N Used; Pickpocketing; Mentions of Dark Pasts (Reader)
Walking through the busy streets of a Mid Rim planet, you kept a close eye on Omega as you made your way back to the Marauder. The Bad Batch had split up to gather supplies and you and Omega had been sent to get a new water purification filter, which was securely strapped to your chest.
“Come on, Meg, this way,” you directed, resting a hand on Omega’s shoulder.
“Wait, what’s that?” Omega asked, pointing at a stand to the side.
You glanced over before slowly leading Omega over to the small stand. A group of merchants greeted you as you approached, and you quickly sized them up. Glancing down at what Omega was curiously examining, you bent down to Omega’s height.
“That’s nail polish.”
“What’s its purpose?” Omega questioned, turning to you.
“You paint your fingernails or your toenails with it. It’s pretty to look at,” you explained to her.
“Is it permanent?”
“No, just temporary. It’ll last longer if you add more layers of it,” you continued, glancing over the various colors at the stall.
“And can you only pick one color?”
“No. You can pick as many as you want. In the Inner Rim, there’re artists that spend their whole day painting people’s nails.”
“Really?” Omega gasped, causing you to nod.
“Where are you two from?” the vender asked, eyeing the two of you.
“Outer Rim. Just passing through,” you replied, shrugging your shoulders nonchalantly. You stared down at Omega, who was still curiously studying the vials of nail polish. You paused for a moment before nudging Omega in the side. “Come on, Meg. Let’s get going. The boys will worry if we’re late.”
“Alright,” Omega agreed, setting the vial of nail polish back.
Bidding the venders goodbye, Omega and you turned to head back to where the Marauder was docked. You waited until you were a few streets over before sliding two vials of nail polish out of the hidden compartment in your vambrace.
“I thought that you liked these colors the best,” you stated quietly.
Omega’s eyes widened in surprise when she spotted the two vials of nail polish in your hand. She quickly grabbed them, smiling giddily, before she quickly connected the dots. Turning back to you, Omega frowned.
“When did you pay for these?”
“That’s not for you to worry about, Meg,” you dismissed, pushing Omega forward to stay on schedule. Omega hissed your name, looking around nervously.
“We can’t do that," she insisted.
“Why not?”
“It’s illegal.”
“Well, I can think of quite a few other illegal things that we’ve done,” you replied evenly, leading Omega into the docking bay. “We’ll just add it to the list.”
“How did you do it?” Omega asked curiously.
“That’s far from the most impressive move that I can pull off,” you stated, shooting Omega a smirk. “Come on, Meg, give me more credit than that.”
“Can you show me?”
“I don’t think that Hunter would approve of that,” you mused. After a moment, you added, “We can start tomorrow.”
Omega grinned, but you shot her a look to keep a low profile. Omega stowed the nail polish into her pockets as the two of you walked towards the Marauder. Tech looked up from his datapad and perked up when he spotted the water filter.
“Ah, just what I was waiting for.”
“Sorry, got a little sidetracked,” you replied, tossing it over to Tech.
“What kind of sidetracked?” Hunter asked, stepping off of the ship. “Imperial trouble?”
“Just some window shopping,” you spoke evenly, folding your arms over your chest. “Don’t get your bandana all in a twist.”
“We now possess all of the items that we needed to acquire on this pitstop. We should depart shortly, if we want to return to Ord Mantell for a new mission,” Tech announced, causing the Bad Batch to make their way onto the Marauder.
You were about to take your seat in front of the computer when Omega gestured for you to follow her to the back of the ship. Smiling, you headed back, missing the way that Hunter turned in his seat to look back at you. He heard the clinking of glass earlier when Omega and you approached, but now he was certain that it was coming from the two of you.
“Can you show me?” Omega asked quietly, holding out the vials.
“Give me your hand,” you instructed, sitting across from Omega.
Opening the nail polish bottle, you gently grabbed Omega’s right hand and started to apply the dark gray nail polish. Omega watched, fascinated, as you worked to carefully paint her nails.
“Where did you learn how to do this?”
“I used to paint nails. When I was about your age,” you explained elusively.
“For who?”
“A lady.”
“Did she paint her nails like this too?” Omega asked, causing you to shake your head as you switched to Omega’s thumb.
“No, she preferred this weird green color. It looked horrible but apparently it complimented her eyes.”
“Can I paint yours next?” Omega questioned, causing you to look up.
“Course you can. Maybe if you ask nicely, you can paint the boys’ nails too,” you mused, dipping the brush back into the polish.
“They didn’t have nail polish on Kamino,” Omega continued, causing you to nod.
“I wouldn’t expect the Kaminoans to have much need for it. Do they even have fingernails?” you snorted, working on Omega’s left hand. “But a lot of species use this stuff. And there’s other types of polish or things that people put on their nails. But you have to be really rich to get those.”
“Like what?”
Some people get gems and other valuables embedded into their nails,” you explained, causing Omega to frown.
“Why?”
“The same reason that why rich people do most things. Because they can,” you stated a bit blunter than you intended.
“Did you ever get your nails painted?” Omega asked, causing you to shake your head. “The lady whose nails you painted, she never painted yours?”
“No,” you replied, placing the brush back into the vial and screwing the bottle shut.
“Why not?”
“She wasn’t as nice as I am,” you responded, not meeting Omega’s confused gaze. “Now, keep your fingers apart and don’t touch anything. You have to let the paint dry first. It could take some time, but I didn’t put too thick of a layer on it.”
“And then what?” Omega asked, looking at her newly painted nails.
“Then we can put another layer on, or I can start with the red,” you explained kindly. “Your choice, Meg.”
“What did you do when you painted nails before?”
“I would put another layer of the gray first,” you stated, causing Omega to nod. “It could make the polish a little more durable.”
“What do we have here?” Hunter drawled, leaning against the doorframe with his arms folded across his chest. He noted the nail polish bottles on the floor and paint on Omega’s nails. And even if she hid them, he would have smelled it. “I didn’t realize that we had a salon back here.”
Hunter’s gaze drifted over to you, and you stared back at him with some measure of defiance, knowing that the edge in his tone was directed at you. But Omega got in between the two of you.
“Look at my nails, Hunter!” she called, causing Hunter to turn to her. He bent down to her height and reached out to grab one of her hands, but Omega quickly drew them towards her chest. “Careful! The polish is still drying!”
“I’ll be careful,” Hunter assured Omega before looking down at her nails. “Dark gray, huh?”
“To match your armor,” Omega explained, causing Hunter to nod. “We got red too. She said that she’s going to do designs on my nails once the layers dry.”
“Anything specific picked out?”
Omega turned to you with a questioning look, but you simply smiled and casually leaned back against your hands.
“It’s whatever you want, Meg. You get to pick,” you assured her.
After the top layers of the nail polish dried, you got to work on the red nail art that you promised Omega. You did a horizontal stripe to represent Hunter’s bandana, two adjacent dots to represent Tech’s goggles, an ‘H’ to represent Wreaker’s lula, and a ‘V’ to represent Echo’s kama. And then a '99' symbol too.
“They should be all set now,” you stated, causing Omega to smile and get to her feet.
You watched with an amused smile as Omega ran around and showed off her nails to every member of the Bad Batch. Wrecker seemed most excited for Omega, though the others offered her their praise in their own ways. And it wasn’t long before Omega was going around and painting all of their nails.
You walked over to where Hunter was sitting in front of the computer, watching as Echo offered Omega his hand. Wrecker was blowing on his nails, not wanting to disappoint Omega by ruining her hard work. You folded your arms over your chest, as Hunter had done earlier.
“You going to give me a lecture on pickpocketing again?” you asked him, not taking your eyes off of Omega.
“I’ll make an exception. This time,” Hunter replied, slowly turning to look at you. “I still don’t like it though.”
“Yes, I’m aware,” you stated, pushing off the computer table.
“Then why do you keep doing it?” Hunter asked, causing you to raise a playful eyebrow.
“Well, someone has to teach her how to have fun,” you responded, brushing past Hunter. He turned slowly in his chair, watching as you kneeled down beside Omega. You smiled at her work and offered some praise. “You’re getting the hang of it, Meg.”
“You think so? It’s still sloppy compared to yours,” Omega replied, glancing down at her own nails.
“With practice, comes perfection, as with everything else,” you assured her before standing up.
Walking past Hunter once again, you could feel his eyes on you, but kept walking. Hunter shook his head and turned around to find Wrecker staring at him with a grin. Nudging Hunter in the arm with his elbow, Wrecker let out a teasing laugh.
“Did you want her to do your nails, Hunter, huh?” he teased, causing Omega to pick her head up.
“She’s the best at it,” Omega vouched innocently.
“I’ll just wait for you, Omega,” Hunter replied awkwardly, sinking in his seat.

As Iron Sharpens Iron
"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17
Beta-read by @dragonrider9905
Chapter 6:
Previous // Next
Warnings: Jealousy. Canon violence.
--------------------------------------------------
The mission was simple.
You stood, picking at a loose splinter of wood beneath the bar, leaning on the counter as Cid explained the objective.
“Just remember I need that asset undamaged or you ain’t gettin’ paid.” She said, taking care to emphasize ‘undamaged’ as she shot a glare towards Wrecker, “That means no blowing it up, Muscles.”
“Hey! That was one time and it wasn’t my fault!”
Cid rolled her eyes, “Regardless. I want you in and out. Grab the staff and get outta there before the gang even realizes you’re there. You better not lead anything back to me. I can’t afford any more trouble around here. Especially with you lot.”
Hunter bristled but remained silent. It was a testament to his willpower that he hadn't yet told her off for the blatant disrespect she showed towards them.
You'd think she'd be more reasonable since we're the ones making all her money here, you thought, then sighed, but then again, we don't have much of a choice and she knows it.
Hunter pulled his pack over his shoulders and signaled the group to head out, not missing how quickly you turned away, not meeting his eyes.
***
The Marauder lay in quiet flight as it hurdled through hyperspace - the silence only broken by Wrecker's occasional comments and Omega’s responding laughter. Tech lay asleep on his bunk and Echo tinkered with something in the back. If it were any other day - any other time - it would've been peaceful. An oasis of relaxed preparation before the chaos of a mission.
Now the silence hung taught - stretched and pulled uncomfortably over the atmosphere. It was stifling. Stale.
Part of you longed for that normalcy - to take advantage of this time to go over strategies with Hunter, mapping out the best course of action, listening to his baritone words coaching you to think outside the box.
He was sitting right there beside you across the cockpit.
Say something, you begged silently. Anything. Ask me to stay and I will.
But no one made a sound.
Hunter sat stiffly in his chair staring directly ahead.
You sighed, pulling your feet up onto the chair, resting your chin on your knees, hugging your shivering bones.
Had space always been so cold?
Hunter shifted in his seat. You wondered if he could hear how your heart raced, desperate to relieve the tension in the room. He was staring at you again. You could feel his eyes burning into the side of your head.
He took a breath as if he'd finally decided to say something and you glanced up meeting his eyes.
The proximity alert went off as the ship snapped into orbit, shaking Tech from his slumber as he stumbled to his feet.
Hunter stood up - whatever he had to say was gone in a flash of professional duty. Time to do the job.
***
The ship landed smoothly on the landing pad - courtesy of Cid’s given coordinates.
“Alright, let's see what we're dealing with.” Echo said.
Hunter nodded in agreement, “Tech, how's it coming with that scanner?”
“Almost done.” He replied, fingers moving quickly over dials and screens.
“Good.”
Hunter pulled his pack on and straightened the bandana over his forehead.
“Alright, Echo you'll scomp in and locate the treasure vault. Tech you need to splice into their systems and deactivate any security systems they may have in place. Wrecker and I will keep a lookout and take care of any trouble that comes our way.” He glanced at Wrecker, “Quietly.”
Wrecker grumbled as he rolled his eyes.
Then Hunter turned to you. “I need you and Omega to stay here and keep watch. We don't know much about what we're walking into, so we need to be prepared to make a quick getaway if we have to. Got it?”
You nodded and Omega jumped to her feet. “Yes sir!”
***
Of course he doesn't trust me. You thought bitterly. He put me on babysitting duty.
A burst of regret tore from your chest as you watched her.
Omega hung upside down on a rock just outside the ship, fiddling with her trooper doll and a toy shuttle that Echo had found for her - oblivious to your traitorous thoughts.
You sighed, feeling the shame darken your cheeks.
You can't take your problems out on a kid, your inner voice scolded. Omega didn't deserve to be caught up in the middle of whatever this was.
“Heads up,” Hunter’s voice sounded through the coms, yanking you from a bored stupor, “You’ve got hostiles coming in fast.”
Omega looked over to you, eyes wide as she processed the information. She took a breath and nodded, keeping eye contact with you, lips settling in a grim determination. She unslung the bow from her back.
“Copy that,” she responded, “We’ll be ready.”
“Negative.” Hunter’s curt response came back immediately. “Do not engage. Get back on the Marauder and take off.”
You all but grabbed the com from Omega. “But what about you!?”
Silence. “We’ve been compromised.”
Omega snatched the com back defiantly, eyes narrowing in concern. “We’re not leaving you!”
“That’s an order!” Hunter hissed, keeping his voice low.
“No. Omega’s right. We’re not leaving here without you!” The com was once again in your hand.
“Listen to me!” Hunter snapped, “Get Omega out of there now! We can handle this on - “ The message cut off in a garble of static and shouting.
“Hunter!” Omega grabbed the com again in a desperate attempt to get him back. “Hunter, come in! I repeat, come in!”
Nothing.
Omega looked at you, wide eyed, shoulder’s bobbing up and down as she breathed, processing the situation.
Your head shot up. Muffled footsteps - voices echoing in the distance, carried on the wind. Gruff and unforgiving in a boastful confidence.
“Kriffing shit…” you hissed under your breath, grabbing Omega’s arm as you ran back to the ship.
“What are you doing!” Omega tried to yank her arm from your grip as you dragged her up the ramp, “They need our help! We can’t leave them!”
“Shhh!” you commanded, boosting her up into the storage hatch before clamoring up behind her.
“No!” she struggled, “We’re a squad! A family!”
A pang of hurt speared through your gut. Not me. Not anymore.
“We don’t leave our own behind!” she said adamantly, glaring daggers of betrayal and confusion at you.
Hunter’s words.
She looked up to him, constantly and unconsciously copying his mannerisms and ideals.
Hunter doesn’t trust you. The antagonizing voice of your subconscious snapped. That’s why he left you here with the kid. You’re just an asset. A body. But maybe you could be more than that. Maybe, upon rescuing them, the team would see you differently. Hunter would see you differently.
You sighed, “We’re not leaving, but we’re no help to them if we’re dead or captured.”
She nodded silently, relief palatable on her young face. Sometimes it was easy to forget that she was only 12 years old.
Is it selfish to want to prove yourself as more than just a useful tool?
Omega crouched by the closed hatch at her feet, bow in her hands, mimicking your own stance as you poised for action, blaster in hand.
Footsteps thudded up the ramp, carelessly clattering through the cockpit.
“Find anything?” one of them called out to his companion.
“Nah… there’s nobody here.” Another crash as he dumped a chest, “Nothin’ good here neither.”
Another clanging slam as another trunk was forced open. A loud chuckle came from a third voice.
“Ha! Hey, come get a load a this! The boss is gonna like this one!”
More footsteps, “Holy shit! Who keeps an entire trunk full of thermal detonators beside their bunk?”
“No clue, but they’ll go for a ton on the black market.”
“...and why is there a kriffing stuffed cat inside a trunk of thermal detonators?”
You side-eyed Omega.
“Ohh… that’s where I put her…” she whispered to herself, relieved that she no longer had to figure out a way to tell Wrecker that she lost his Lula.
“Whatever man, just grab the detonators and let’s go. This place stinks.”
“Yeah what a bunch of losers.”
Omega’s grip tightened on her bow, face contorting in anger as if she was ready to jump down and give the thieves a piece of her mind.
You placed a hand on her knee and slowly shook your head. Not yet.
“We are not losers!” she whispered harshly, insulted that the thieves had insulted her team - her family.
But not yours. You grit your teeth bitterly.
Once you were sure the offenders were gone, the hatched hissed open and you jumped down, catching Omega as she jumped.
“Okay, what’s the plan?” she looked at you expectantly. You nodded, practiced mind already running through various scenarios.
“We’ll track those thugs back to the compound. They have to be holding Hunter and the others there somewhere.”
Omega nodded solemnly. “Good plan. And then when we get there, I’ll keep a lookout while you search for a way in!”
“Right. Just follow my lead and stay out of sight!”

Flowers
Tech x afab!reader everybody lives AU, spoilers season 2???
Word count: 2770
Warnings: NSFW minors begone, oral (f! receiving), p in v sex, mentions of f! masturbation, Tech being the king of consent
Summary: Tech gets you a bouquet of flowers with an… interesting meaning.
a/n: I’m back babyyyy also, I got these flower meanings from various websites, if these aren’t exactly right, oh well
You had been living on Pabu for over a year now, and you couldn’t help but look back on how your time on the island had been thus far. You had met Phee at one point when she was on Ord Mantell, and you and she had gotten along pretty well. Once you’d known her for a while and became more comfortable with her, you opened up about your living situation and your past, which… wasn’t great. She decided then and there that she would take you to Pabu, not giving you any advanced notice- only telling you to pack your stuff and get ready for a surprise. You had been a bit overwhelmed by the island atmosphere at first; it was like nothing you’d ever experienced before. Initially, you were suspicious of how perfect everything was, expecting something to go wrong eventually. However, as time passed, you became more relaxed, even making a couple of friends. Then they arrived.
They were unlike anyone you’d ever met before. They moved into the home next to yours, and you were very curious as to the nature of your new neighbors. After they’d settled in, Phee knocked on your door and asked if you would like to meet them. Before waiting for your response, she grabbed you and pulled you out the door over towards where two of them were talking to Shep.
You took a good look at them, a bit confused. They looked like soldiers, but didn’t look like they were here in any sort of official capacity. The one closer to Shep had shoulder length curly black hair with a red bandana and a skull tattooed on the left side of his face. The other one was a bit taller and had a scomp link where his right hand would be. Phee pulled you over and introduced you. The tattooed one introduced himself as Hunter and his companion as Echo. They seemed friendly enough, if a bit reserved. Not that you could complain; you were the same way, especially when you yourself had first arrived on Pabu.
After standing and talking for a bit, two others joined the conversation- a giant of a man with a scar on the left side of his face, and a girl who looked to be in her teens. Hunter introduced them as Wrecker and Omega. They both smiled and waved at you, Omega coming over to you and asking you about your experiences on Pabu thus far. You found that she was light, bubbly, and easy to talk to.
After you’d been talking to Omega for a while, you were about to go back to your home and do some work around the house, when one more person appeared. He was tall, lean, and wore goggles. He seemed engrossed in whatever he was looking at on his datapad before Phee went over and introduced the two of you. His name was Tech. You weren’t entirely sure why, but you immediately found yourself drawn to him. He seemed a bit stiff at first, but when you mentioned that you worked as an environmental scientist, the two of you began conversing about what that entailed- from analyzing the levels of various compounds in the water to studying marine life to tracking seismic activity. Normally, when you discussed work stuff, no one else understood most of what you were talking about, and you eventually learned how to dumb it down to the level of whoever was listening. That wasn’t the case with him.
He asked you all sorts of questions, some of which were even above your level, and you loved every bit of it. Finally, someone who you could connect with intellectually. The two of you stood there talking for a long time, before Hunter called Tech away to help with the moving in process. From that point on, the two of you became fast friends.
Soon after the group came to Pabu, Tech began joining you in your work. Having his knowledge and expertise in the field was invaluable, and you could tell he really enjoyed the work- as did you. Sometimes Omega would join as well, but that was usually when you were working with cute baby sea animals. The two of you became a very effective team.
After a couple of months, the two of you started to spend time together outside of working as well. Whether it was grabbing a bite to eat, going for a walk by the water, or strolling through one of the markets, you’d grown comfortable in each other’s company.
One day, you were resting at home on one of your days off when you heard a knock at your door. You opened it, and you saw Tech standing there with a bouquet of flowers in his hands.
“I saw these flowers as I was walking through the market earlier, and I, umm… well, they made me think of you,” he said shyly, handing them out to you. It was truly beautiful, with red roses, red camellias, red lilies, red tulips, and sweetpeas scattered throughout.
“Aww, Tech, these are beautiful! I really appreciate it,” you gushed. “Would you like to stay for a while? I’m almost done with dinner.”
“I would very much appreciate that, cyare,” he responded before stepping through the door frame and taking off his boots. You paused for a second, not recognizing the word, before brushing it off as Tech being Tech and moving towards the kitchen area. You grabbed the vase off of the small table in the kitchen, and removed the old flowers (Omega had picked them and given them to you!) before adding the new ones Tech had just given you. He went around to the stove to see what you were making, taking a whiff and humming in approval. He was quiet, which was unlike him, and he seemed to be fidgeting more than usual. You sat down at the table next to him, wanting to make sure he was okay. “Is everything okay? You seem nervous,” you queried.
“Oh, yes, I am doing well. Just a bit preoccupied, I suppose,” he responded, a bit rushed.
“Tech… You seem off. Is there something on your mind?”
“Of course there is something on my mind, cyare, there is always something on my mind. In fact, there are very few instances in which there is nothing occupying my thoughts,” he clarified, though there still seemed to be something off. There that word was again- cyare. It sounded like a nickname of sorts, but you couldn’t tell.
“That word you just said- what does it mean?” you questioned.
“What word?”
“The one you just said- I think it started with a ‘c’?” you clarified.
“Oh, um… well…” he hesitated, almost seeming to psych himself up. “Cyare. That is what I called you. In Mando’a, it means ‘beloved’, though it can be used in several different contexts. It can be used as a term of endearment for a loved one, though it can also be used for someone who is well-known, although-”
“Tech. Did you just… did you just call me your beloved?” you whispered.
“I… yes, I did,” he confirmed. “I have had feelings for you ever since we arrived on Pabu, but I was never able to muster the courage to be this forward about the situation. If I have made you uncomfortable, or if you do not share my feelings, I fully understand if you would want to keep your distance in the future-”
You paused him by putting your hands over his, which were now almost shaking. You could tell how nervous he was. “Tech, I have feelings for you as well, and I was hesitant about bringing it up as well. I didn’t want to stress you out.” You laughed to yourself a bit before continuing, “I guess I didn’t have anything to worry about.”
He seemed to relax a bit before adjusting his goggles and asking you, “Given that we have established our mutual feelings of attraction, would it be too forward if I asked your interest in the two of us starting a romantic relationship?”
“Of course it wouldn’t be too forward, how else would you ask me?” you ask, intentionally leaving room for him to fully state his intentions.
“In that case… would you like to be romantically involved? With me?” he professed, looking into your eyes. You gazed back at him and said, “Absolutely. I would love it, just as I love you.”
You took his face into your hands and rubbed your thumbs against his cheeks; he melted into your touch.
“Cyare, may I kiss you?” he added.
“Yes, Tech, you may,” you giggled before closing the gap between the two of you and pressing your lips to his. This first kiss was light and a bit hesitant, but soon you both relaxed into it, exploring each other but still keeping things relatively tame. After a little while, you remembered that you were still in the middle of making dinner, so you pulled away, gave him one last peck on the cheek, and moved back over to the stove to check on the soup you had simmering away. You decided that it was done to your satisfaction, ladling some into two bowls and placing them on the table. You grabbed the loaf of bread you had sitting on the counter and brought that over as well. Dinner was uneventful, save for the glances you both stole at each other and the occasional shy smile. Glancing back at the flowers, you asked, “What made you choose those flowers specifically?”
“Well, some cultures assign specific meanings to various flowers, so I wanted to make sure what I chose reflected my intentions. These flowers represent passion, love, romance, desire, and pleasure, and those are things I desire to give to you,” he asserted.
“So, if I’m understanding this correctly, you gave me a bouquet of flowers that means you want to have sex with me?” you clarified.
“That is certainly one way of putting it, yes. I do find you sexually attractive and desire to be intimate with you. Only if you consent, of course,” he added. You blushed profusely before responding, “I would love to. I’ve wanted that for a long time. Did you have a timeline in mind?”
“Well, not exactly, but… I have no objections to doing so tonight,” he proposed, a blush creeping across his cheeks as well. You clenched your thighs at the thought of being intimate with him. Little did he know, there were nights where you would get yourself off solely to the thoughts of his fingers (or certain other parts of him) between your legs, and the notion that such dreams could become reality brought heat to your body.
“Let’s finish dinner first, but then I’m all yours,” you affirmed. The rest of dinner went by quickly in anticipation of what was to come. When everything was cleaned up, you led him to your bedroom and closed the door. Before you could turn around, he grabbed you and brought his lips to yours in a passionate kiss. You kissed him back with equal intensity, allowing your hands to roam around his body. He curled one hand around your lower back, and carded the other into your hair. He backed you up until your thighs hit the back of the bed.
“Y/n, please let me know if you are feeling discomfort at any time. I want to ensure that you are feeling nothing but pleasure,” he murmured into your mouth.
“Tech, dear, please, I need you so badly,” you begged, desperate to feel his hands against your skin. He pulled your top and breast band off before kissing down to your chest and laving at the skin there, leaving marks only he would see. It was your turn to run your fingers through his hair, marveling at how soft his curls were. You briefly thought to ask him later what products he uses, but he brought your attention back to the present by picking you up and lowering you down to the bed, laying you so that your head was resting on the pillows. He kissed down your torso before running his fingers under the seams of your pants, a silent request for you to lift your hips so that he could remove the offending clothing separating him from his prize. As he removed your pants and panties, he kissed up your legs, taking his sweet time with you. He wanted to memorize every inch of your beautiful body.
Eventually, he reached the apex of your thighs, pushing them apart to reveal your wetness to him. He looked up at you and asked, “Cyare, may I-”
“Tech, please, I need this,” you begged. “I need you.” He wasted no time, licking a stripe up your folds, drawing a moan. You covered your mouth with your hand, but he grabbed it and held it, resting it against your stomach. “Let me hear those beautiful noises; there is no need to cover such a melodious sound.” He turned his attention back to your wetness, moving his tongue in such a way as to have your thighs quaking around his head and you grinding against his face. Once he felt that you were sufficiently lubricated, he slipped a finger inside you, moving it in the “come hither” motion that you had so often dreamed of him doing. Soon he added a second, and used a scissoring motion to open you up for him. The last thing he wanted was to cause you any undue discomfort later on.
Before too long, you started to feel your orgasm building, and your moans increased in volume. “Tech, I’m gonna…”
“That’s it, cyare, come for me,” he mouthed against your sex. Everything felt so good, so right, and soon you came- hard. Your body thrashed around, unable to contain the pleasure that he was providing. He worked you through your orgasm, only stopping when you pulled his head away from you. He kissed his way up your body before reuniting his lips with yours. You pulled at his collar, and he backed away to disrobe. Once he had removed all barriers between his skin and yours, he climbed back onto the bed and settled on top of you, pushing your thighs apart once more. When he was undressed, he grabbed a biosheath, and he proceeded to apply it before looking at you and asking once more, “Do you want this? We can stop now if you need to.”
“No, I want this. I need this. I need you,” you declared, reaching down to stroke his length a few times, him thrusting into your hand. Tech lined himself up with your sex and rubbed himself up and down your slit a few times before slowly entering you, not wanting to cause any pain or discomfort, but your face showed nothing but pleasure. You gasped, not realizing how big he was until he was inside you. Once he was fully seated inside you, he rested there for a moment and you brought his head down into a searing kiss. After a moment or so, he pulled out a bit and thrusted back in, causing your head to roll back. He picked up the pace a bit, and you grabbed onto his shoulders for support. In that moment, everything felt so good, so right, and there was nothing else in the galaxy but the two of you and the love you were making. This was not the time for roughness, but for gentleness and sweet, slow sex.
Tech felt your heat drawing him in and he reached between you to rub on your bundle of nerves, making you clench around him. You lifted your hips, timing the movements of your body with his, and soon, you were coming again, pleasure rushing over you like a tidal wave. You clung onto him for dear life as he worked you through your orgasm. You could tell he was close, too, his thrusts becoming rougher and more erratic, before he came as well. Exhausted, he lowered his body next to yours, pulling out slowly due to your oversensitivity. The two of you lay in silence for a moment before Tech whispered, “I love you, cyare. I love this, and I want so much more of it.”
You pulled back to look at him before responding, “I couldn’t agree more.” After some time, he got up to get you some water and a cloth to clean you up with, and when he opened the bedroom door, you saw the flowers that started it all, still sitting in the kitchen.

Pairings: Hunter x Fem! Reader
Summary: you and hunter had a one night stand, and he left you with a child because of it. You never told him, but when you went back to bounty work you ran into each other, and eventually you told him... how will he react?
Warnings: Canon violence, fluff
Word count: 3,265
You had no idea how long you had actually worked for Cid in the past, you weren't contracted but she did give you some exhilarating and high paying jobs. during the clone wars the senate actually gave you most of your bounties, and you would consider yourself a republic bounty hunter, though you held no allegiance to them and that also made you dangerous. But at the end of the clone wars, maybe a month or so later you had to drop from existence on a little backwater planet called Pabu. It was a nice little place, and it was your permanent home, until you had to leave for jobs again… but the only reason you disappeared was because you were pregnant from a one night stand. The other party had no idea, and even if you could reach out, you wouldn't. He didn't need to know, but you remember him vividly.
Tall, tanned And muscular. He had a hard body tattoo resembling a skull, and the skeleton as it traveled down his body. He wore a red bandana, and kriff knows he never took it off… unless it was to tie your hands behind your back but regardless that was one time, the first and the last… and then he left you with a child, the bastard.
So it had been a full 6 months since you had your child, and with all the support you had on pabu you were able to go back to work, knowing your child was safe.
So, you stood in front of Cids parlor, your helmet fastened to your head, having donned your classic armor previously. Nobody knew this but you had Mandalorian lineage, so certain pieces of armor were made if beskar But were formed and painted in a way to make it look nothing like beskar.
Regardless, you were back, and your looks alone sparked fear into those who walked past you. Your mask was not necessarily a helmet, because the back of your hair which was put into a long braid that draped over your shoulder could be seen. But you had two metal bands that were fastened to each side of your temple, and upper cheek, which was strongly magnetized to the mask, which had a voice mod to hide your voice, and was also connected to a small oxygen tank that was clipped to your small backpack, and attached to that was your long ranged rifle, and vibrosword.
You had two blasters in each holster that was strapped to both your thighs, and a few throwing knives were also attached to one other holster, whilst you had a few knives tucked in your boot, or in a hidden holster under your armor plating, and even in your braided hair.
Your armor itself was painted a deep blue with black accents and very faded and worn gold lines in the dips and crevices of your armor, however the thicker Long sleeved undershirt you wore underneath was a dirty cream color, and your pants were a deep brown.
You patted yourself down quickly, nodding to yourself when you recounted everything you had before walking into Cids parlor.
The Bad batch, that is to say Hunter, Wrecker, Tech and omega since Echo was off with Rex, and Crosshair was working for the Empire, were sitting At their usual table, wrecker and omega chowing down on some Mantel mix. Hunter was the first to notice Joe silent the bar suddenly got, but Texh and the others were not to far behind as their attention went to a stranger who walked in, a bounty hunter by the looks of it. To Hunter though, there was a sense and smell of familiarity, and he furrowed his eyebrows watching you walk to Cids office, the door automatics closing behind you. Hunter turned to look at Tech, who also had furrowed eyebrows.
“Why does that Bounty hunter seem so familiar to us?” He asked, typing on his data pad, searching for any info on this bounty hunter. Hunger shook his head, running a hand through his hair. “Not sure…” He trailed off, staring at the door for a few seconds until Tech grabbed his attention by showing him the data pad. “It is Y/n L/n, AKA Cicatrix, she was a very famous bounty hunter for the republic during th-”
“-I know Tech, We've worked with her before, before the empire…” He trailed off, memories resurfacing in his mind, memories he pushed down because he got too attached.
In the meantime, you were talking with Cid, your helmet was off, and now attached to your left hip were similar magnets were sewn into your clothing to hold your mask, and you were getting the best pick of the bounties and jobs… until Cid spoke up.
“Yeah one thing Trixie-”
“-Its Cicatrix” You interrupted, and Cid cleared her throat. “Right, one thing, in order to do this big jobs your going to have to work with a few other people, a group I like to work with… The Bad Batch.” She explained, and you narrowed your eyes, gripping the fobs in your right hand. “The bad batch huh?” You sneered at Cid, before grabbing the fobs. “Fine.” You muttered, fastening your mask to your face once more, and Cid led you out of the office, and towards the bad batch.
Your eyes scanned over each of them, some familiar, most of them were except for one… however when your eyes landed on that man… the one with the half skull tattoo on his face, you wanted to turn and run… However, you stayed put as Cid started speaking some nonsense that you couldn't really bother to listen to, because even through your mask he seemed to know where your eyes were, and he wouldn't let your stare go… that was until you felt someone tug at your shirt.
You quickly looked down, seeing the small blonde child smiling up at you. “Hi! I'm Omega, and these are my brothers, Hunter, Tech, and Wrecker! We've read all about you- well at least I have on Kamino, But your so cool! I read one story about you where you and a Jedi were on a mission and you got separated! And a Rancor came out of nowhere and you wrestled it till you killed it- and-” omega was quickly cut off as Hunter rested a hand on her shoulder. “Omega..” he muttered softly, silently telling her to calm down
You chuckled, thinking back to your own child on Pabu before you knelt down in front of her, and took your mask off, clipping it to your thigh once more. You smiled at omega, and pointed to a big scar on your face. “I didn't get out unscathed that's for sure, the rancor gave me a big scar, And I had to get a new eye, luckily for me I had the credits and the connections so now I have a cybernetic Eye, and I can scan my surroundings for infrared signatures, like other people or animals when it's dark out. It's pretty cool.” You explained, winking at her as your cybernetic right eye flashed blue before settling to your eye colour again. Omega squealed in excitement, turning to her brother, Hunter.
You stood up, glancing at him as he stared at you, before standing up. “We can work together, just like old times.” He muttered the last bit, but you heard him clearly, and you couldn't help but roll your eyes. “I'll leave my ship here, and come with you on yours. You stated, resting your hands on your hips as you took a step back, nodding to Cid. “You owe me a solo.” You stated, before walking to the parlor doors. “Let's get a move on, we only have so much time.” You stated, walking outside as the batch gathered their things.
Once all outside, you started walking with them, omega mainly at your side, asking you questions about your old stories, and your weapons… however as you answered, you noticed the crossbow on her back, and it piqued your interest. “Is that an energy bow?” You asked, and she smiled and nodded. “Yeah it is! Though I'm still learning how to use it.” She huffed, and a soft chuckle left your lips. “Well I could teach you? In my youth I was quite the bow slinger myself.” You stated proudly, seeing how her eyes lit up. She immediately turned to Hunter, who was walking behind you.
“Can She teach me after the mission? Please?” She asked her brother, who stopped walking when she did. You stopped as well, turning to look at him with your arms crossed over your armored chest, a smug look over your face. Hunter gave you a look which you weren't quite sure what it meant, before he looked at omega and sighed. “Fine. I suppose some training can be useful.” He stated, and she cheered before running to the Marauder, grabbing your hand and dragging you with her so she could show you around. You laughed with her, the same hearty laugh that Hunter heard all those months ago…
He sighed, and entered the ship, closing the ramp behind him before making his way to his seat in the cockpit where Tech already was.
Tech glanced over at Hunter, but stared right at his data pad while he spoke. “You should talk to her, statistics show that being honest yields better results then not saying anything at all.” He stated, adjusting his goggles. Hunter grunted in response, glancing back at you and omega as she showed you around. “Maybe…” He trailed off, his eyes trailing down your figure. You were muscular, and fit unlike most women he had been with, however you were a bit softer then the last time he was with you… like something had changed you…
Eventually omega brought you to the cockpit just as you were taking off, and you quickly handed the main tracking fob to Hunter, your clothed finger tips brushing against each other as you handed off the fob. A spark shot through your spine, And you quickly cleared your throat and placed your hand on the back of the chair instead of by your side. “Its on a pretty heavy imperialized planet, so we have to be cautious when retrieving the goods. I did some more research and found a map of one of the facilities it's in… though I do have an idea on how we could stealth this, instead of going in guns blazing.” You suggested, staring at Tech as they both looked at you.
“There are rounds of patrols, two or three troopers at a time. And they circle around this mountain pass-” you explain while pulling out a holo map, pointing your finger at the red dot that indicates the patrol, and then the mountain
“If we land around here, a small group, most likely Hunter or Tech and myself can take out the patrol and switch out our armor for theirs. We put our gear in this little alcove in the mountain, and whoever is left behind can come pick it up so it's safe. Anyway, we complete the “patrol” and get back to the facility, getting in like we were one of them. I can use my tools to get into the control room, where we knock out the guards and then take the data, and get out the same way we got in when the next patrol is about to leave, we tail them, take em out and go.” You explained thoroughly, and Tech hummed at the plan.
“That is… one of the best plans I've ever heard. Hunter? What do you think?” Tech asked, and you glanced over at Hunter, noticing that he was staring at you already, a very small smile curled on his lips. “Very good, I'll go with Cicatrix then Tech and omega can pick up our armor and get back to the ship and be on standby in case anything goes wrong.” He stated, and gestured For you to sit down as they were about to drop pit of hyperspace. You did, sitting down behind Tech and across from Hunter.
Soon enough you were docked at the area you pointed out, it was a secluded little landing area, hidden by the mountain, but it gave you easy access to the patrol route. So once landed, you and Hunter headed out Towards the patrol, staying closer to the mountain side and in the shadows, so you weren't seen. You and Hunter rounded the corner just as a patrol did, and before you could even think of what to do, Hunter pushed you into what seemed to be a larger alcove, but one that could hide you both. However it was a tight space, and you were pressed up against each other… at least the armor made it so you couldn't feel his warmth, except from the hands that now found purchase on your lower ribs. And you could feel that warmth radiating from him. You sucked in a sharp breath through your nose, not looking at him, and instead watching the patrol of two as it walked by. And once they were out of sight you nodded. “Okay let's go” you whispered, and Hunter quickly tore his hands away, and left the alcove, and you followed after, sneaking up behind the troopers before taking them out. You stripped from your armor before donning the troopers armor, making sure your armor was in a neat little stack before placing it in the alcove you were just in. And finally you placed the helmet on your head, but not before tucking your braid up, as if not to give your gender away.
You turned back to Hunter, and he was already done with his outfit change. He nodded to you, and you both made the trek back to the facility. You had completely missed the warmth in his eyes when he had shoved you in the alcove, the contemplation on his face as he was torn between forgetting what he felt, and actually telling you what he wanted to say. You never saw it, and he never knew when he'd actually tell you, and now he wondered if he'd even see you again after this mission was over…
Regardless you arrived at the facility and got in unnoticed. This place seemed less guarded then what you would have expected, and you raised your guard, just in case. Hunter took the lead from then on, leading you to the control room where he stood look out as you started splicing the control panel by the door to open it up. You were going quickly as you could, and you managed to open the door within seconds.
You and hunter walked in, and you closed the door behind you before taking out the guards and workers stationed in this room, leaving it empty and easier to work with.
You quickly sat down at one of the terminals, feeling Hunters presence behind you as you slid a data stick into the computer port, hacking into the network that the imperials used with ease since it was the same Tech used by the republic, and you hacked into the republic networks a lot. Just for security…
Regardless you downloaded the info and pulled it out of the port, standing up and turning to Hunter, tucking the data stick into his belt. you walked to the door, poking your head out to see if it was clear, and you nodded to Hunter, walking out side by side, passing another patrol group, pretending you just got back from your patrol. The plan was working, and you couldn't stop the grin growing underneath the helmet you wore.
This might have been the smoothest mission you've ever been on-
“Hey! Patrolman! wait up.” A voice commanded, and you and Hunter froze before turning around, one of the clone commandos standing in front of you. “You finished your patrol quickly, and you didn't input your report.” He stated, and you sucked In a deep breath, looking at hunter. He quickly spoke up. “Right, apologies sir, we will do that right away.” He stated, saluting, you quickly copied his movements, and the clone commando seemed to buy it before leaving.
A sigh left your lips, and you nudged hunter playfully before the both of you left the facility, acting like the next patrol. And as quickly as you got in, you got out, halfway down the patrol route as the alarms started going off "they found my handy work, about time” You huffed, taking your helmet off and tossing it down the canyon before doing the same with the rest of the white armor you wore, however hunter just tossed his into the same alcove that your armor was in prior, though it had long been grabbed by Tech and Omega.
Before hunter could say anything, you both had reached the marauder, climbing on board where your beautiful armor was waiting. And quickly you strapped it all on again, feeling comfortable with the added weight. Tech then started up the ship, and off you flew, with the info that you needed, though it was encrypted, but that's what Tech was for.
You and Hunter didn't really speak after that, but the atmosphere around you both wasn't… uncomfortable. Just silent. You were back on Ord Mantell in no time, and you cashed in the info and got your cut. You still had a few other fobs, but they weren't as time crunching… and maybe you didn't have to work alone…
Hunter seemed to think the same as he walked up to you at the bar, sitting beside you, silent for a moment before he spoke up, right when you did as well
“I missed you-”
You both said at once and chuckles fell from your lips as you turned to look at him. You sighed, and stared down for a moment before pulling Put a hold puck, sliding it to hunter.
He turned it on, and saw a small child, six months old with thick brown hair already growing from his head, and the same hazel eyes that he had. He looked like hunter, but as a baby of course.
The man turned to look at you, and you sighed. “one year and three months ago we slept together. Apparently my implant had expired the day we had sex and… well… he happened. And to be honest he was the best thing that ever happened to me…” you trailed off, staring at the hologram. “Hunter, I'm so-”
“I'm a father?” He asked, cutting you off. You finally looked at him, noticing the tears welling in his eyes. You nodded, reaching out for his hand, squeezing gently. “Would you like to meet Tracker?” You asked, smiling gently. “You'll be shocked to know that boy has your talents… I hide his toys sometimes, and he tracks my trail to where I put them, I don't know what he sees or feels but- compared to a regular child hes- he's got your senses.” You explained, and Hunter finally looked up at you, before grabbing your shoulders and pulling you into him, his lips landing right on yours. You were tense for a moment, but quickly relaxed onto him as you reciprocated that kiss.
You pulled away, a chuckle leaving your lips. “I'll take that as a yes.” You whispered, resting your forehead against his as he held your hands in his own.
“Yes”

woven comforts / hunter x gn!reader
pairing: hunter x gn!reader (no y/n). reader has a nickname.
description: hunter comes home after a long day, and you're there - as always.
word count: 1,309
warnings: none. it's soft hunter at his softest.
this is a request from a lovely twitter mutual who asked for some cozy post-work relaxation/stress relief! i got a little carried away and actually wrote two pieces for this. this is the second one because I didn't think the first was cozy enough! but I will definitely still post the other one because I love it too. soft hunter is so nice to write. i hope you enjoy it!
also posted this on ao3. feedback is welcomed, reblogs are appreciated.
The Pabu sun streamed in and warmed the side of your face as you scrolled through the datapad on your lap. You heard the front door open and close from your spot on the couch, and you smiled when you turned and saw Hunter stroll in, his body slightly hunched.
“Hey,” you stood up, placing the datapad on the caf table. “You’re back later than I thought.”
Hunter stretched his neck out, eyes drifting closed before he forced them open again. “A couple of the boats broke down before they left the dock, slowed us down.” He smiled tiredly at you after running a hand down his face.
“Sounds stressful,” you commented before meeting him in the open kitchen.
Hunter shook his head, downplaying and evading his troubles as he often did. “It was nothing.” He moved closer to hold your arms and gave a lingering kiss on your cheek. “How was your day?”
“Fine,” you smiled, leaning into his kiss. He kept holding you, like if he didn’t he wouldn’t be able to stand upright. You took his hands as you surveyed his appearance. The bandana that kept his hair in check was askew, and his hair was knotted from the sea breeze. His clothes lightly smelled like sweat and the brine of the ocean, and his strong hands were slightly red and his palms calloused. He needed to relax, but he would never ask for it. You tucked some tangled hair behind his ear. “Why don’t you go shower and change, and I’ll make you some food?”
“It’s my turn to cook tonight,” he protested weakly.
“Don’t worry about that,” you said, cupping his cheek with one hand and kissing the other. “Just go and clean up, cyare.”
Hunter smiled, evidently too tired to argue and softened by the endearment. He pulled you in for a gentle kiss that almost made you forget your name before pulling away from you and going to shower. You smiled as you heard the door close and the water turn on.
The water running quickly became a comforting kind of white noise as you made Hunter a sandwich with the Pabu’s famous seeded bread that he loved so much. You just finished cutting the sandwich diagonally when you heard the water shut off and the bathroom door open a few minutes later. Hunter emerged with loose pants hanging low on his hips and a sleeveless undershirt, wet hair stuck to the skin around his collarbones and neck. He looked a little more refreshed, his tattooed face a little brighter as he ran the towel over his wet hair.
“Better?”
“Much,” he draped the towel around his neck as you pushed the plate with the sandwich across the bench. He smiled at you with such gratitude you would’ve thought you had done more than just make him a snack. “Thank you,” he took the plate.
You returned the smile. “You’re welcome.”
You poured him a glass of cool water and then you both made your way over to the couch to sit down. You pulled your legs up under you to face him as he leaned forward to eat over the plate he’d placed on the caf table. You watched the tendons in his neck move as he took a bite, he hummed in enjoyment, making you smile. “Good?”
He nodded. “Thank you,” he repeated after swallowing. “Tell me about your day?” he asked eyes meeting yours in genuine curiosity as he took another bite.
You launched into a retelling of your day; a trip to the market and the bakery for the bread with Omega before dropping her off to help Tech and Phee with cataloguing the Archium, then helping an elderly neighbour with her pruning since her hands often locked up before coming home and tidying things up after Omega stayed with you both last night. She tended to hop around to each of her brothers’ bungalows, but this was her home base.
Hunter listened intently as he ate. You watched him as you spoke, almost getting distracted by the way his hair fell in his face as he leaned over the plate so it would catch any crumbs. You reached out and placed some damp hair behind his ear, curling it gently. These moments between you were so practised that you often didn’t notice them anymore. Both of you just moving with each other automatically. You didn’t notice touching Hunter’s hair, softly running your fingers through it. You didn’t notice when he offered you a bite of his sandwich wordlessly, and you took one mid-sentence, covering your mouth as you talked around it while he took a bite where you just did.
There was an ease with Hunter that meant these moments, however insignificant, made up the pattern of your intertwined lives. Both of you weaved together effortlessly as if you were always meant to.
After Hunter finished eating and his glass of water was empty, he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and leaned back on the couch, closing his eyes. You shuffled closer and ran your fingernails over his scalp. “Today was pretty tiring, huh?”
Hunter peeked open an eye and nodded. “Since Shep opened up the surrounding islands for settlement, there’s always shipments coming and going, things to load and unload. Today felt longer than others.”
You smiled sympathetically. “You’re doing good, you’re a great help to everyone.”
Hunter smiled and reached to grab the hand resting in your lap, squeezing it as his thumb caressed the back of it. “Thanks, mesh’la.”
You smiled and gently tugged him closer and guided his head down, so his head could lay down in your lap. As soon as he realised what you were trying to do, he scooted down so he was comfortable and closed his eyes, sighing with content. You chuckled and looked down at him. “Comfortable?”
“Extremely.”
You laughed again and continued running your fingers through his damp locks, which were already starting to curl up as they dried in the setting sun’s heat that permeated the bungalow.
Instead of talking, you let him rest, watching his rest rise and fall. You adjusted yourself carefully under him, angling his head slightly so you had more access to his hair. You combed through it gently with your fingers before sectioning it in two, and then into three smaller sections on each side, braiding his hair. You softly tugged the hair as you weaved the strands together, watching his face and body slowly relax from the movement of your hands against his scalp. He loved it when you played with his hair. It soothed him in a way nothing else did.
You finished off one side before starting on the other, and by the time you were done with the braids, Hunter was asleep, his breathing deep and even. You smiled, gently brushing the bare side of his face with the back of your fingers, warmth filling your chest at the sleeping man of yours. You were glad he could finally rest.
Hunter stirred a little from the touch, reaching up to cradle your hand to his face. He cracked one eye open. He was always a light sleeper.
“Sorry, go back to sleep,” you whispered, gently caressing his cheek with your thumb.
“Closer,” he mumbled still half asleep, tugged your hand, making you smile.
You both readjusted, him lifting his head so you could get out from under him before he pulled you down, so you lay with him, head resting on his chest. Hunter’s arms went around you, one of his hands running up and down your arm as if soothing himself back into a slumber. You relaxed too, his steady heartbeat under your ear. Soon, his touch stilled, turning limp as he fell asleep again. You smiled before closing your eyes too.

Summary: When Omega convinces Hunter to finally train you in combat, things don't go to plan... or do they?
You’re leering, you know it. You really can’t help it, your spot inside the Marauder has left you with a perfectly obscured view to watch the training exercises happening outside. There’s a box of medical supplies in your lap while you stare through the front viewport, watching Hunter and Tech team up against Echo and Wrecker as they practice hand-to-hand perfectly in your view.
Hunter has long forgone his long sleeve black shirt, his tattoos on full display as his skin bakes in the sun. It is hot, you supposed, but you assumed nearly every midday on Jakku got this warm. They’re all in various states of undress, grappling with each other with the kind of joyful fighting that reminds you of the village boys and their games back home.
Sweat beads roll off his chest in a slight pattern, and you can see through the viewport that he’s used his bandana as a makeshift tie, pulling his hair up into some kind of knot on the top of his head. Echo has gotten Tech into some kind of hold, and the latter is thrashing against him trying to wiggle his way out. Hunter, however, is practically glistening as he shoots Wrecker a grin while they circle one another, until his legs push against the coarse sand outside and he lunges for his younger brother’s legs. He must’ve gotten Wreck with an element of surprise because the larger clone actually tumbles a bit, his center of gravity thrown off. You can’t hear them from inside the ship, but from the looks on their faces you can tell they’re laughing. Echo seems to have succeeded in locking Tech down, and the four of them exchange shakes and smirks–and move to repeat the game.
Happiness looks good on him.
“Why are you watching Hunter again?” Omega’s small, but chipper, voice startles you from your daydream (something involving Hunter and his back that you’ll never tell.)
“Nothing! I’m not, not even watching him,” you stumble, trying desperately to make yourself look busy with the box in front of you. “I’ve gotta keep an eye on his injuries Meg, that's all.”
“But I thought you said he’d be better three rotations ago?”
She’s caught you now, and your face grows hot with the realization. “Well, yeah, of course. But still, as a medic, it’s my job to keep an eye on you all.”
You move to stand and ruffle her hair, toting the box on your hip as you move to go back to the med closet. You suppose you’ve done enough gawking for today.
“Are you red because you’re embarrassed about something?”
Now this makes you stop in your tracks. You whip your head to turn and face the young girl, who’s mouth smiles innocently at you while her eyes smirk knowingly. Kriff. You knew you shouldn't have let her start watching romcoms.
“I’m not embarrassed,” you start, still making your way to the closet while Omega follows closely behind. “I just don’t know any combat, so I’m watching to learn, it’s just embarrassing not to know.”
Nice. Good save. You’ll pat yourself on the back for that one later.
“Oh, that makes sense.” Is all you get from Omega, before you’re met with the sound of her feet moving down the walkway. You’re left alone with your thoughts, idylly shuffling supplies around the closet, delving back to your daydream. Minutes pass like this, in quiet peace, before a rough, masculine voice snaps you back to reality.
“Hey,” Hunter starts, leaning against the doorframe that separates the main cabin from the armory and med closet. He’s not shirtless anymore, instead wearing a mockingly thin white tank top that’s becoming less and less opaque the more his chest is pressed against it. “Omega said you wanted to learn some moves?”
Sure enough, Omega stands behind Hunter, arms crossed proudly as she looks between the two of you. “She’s important Hunter, she has to learn!” The younger girl shouts, and Hunter smiles down at her.
“Sure she is. That’s why I’m gonna teach her,” he looks up at you now with questioning eyes, “that is, if you’re interested? Tech is gonna bring Echo and Wrecker on a supply run for a few hours, so you don’t have to worry about them?”
“Y-yeah, that sounds great.” Maker, is that stumbling voice yours? This is getting worse by the minute.
“Hunter, can I go with? Tech said the market is no worse than Mos Eisley, and you let me go there, Wrecker already said he’d watch me!” Omega pleads with her big brother, pulling at his fingers in a subtle gesture to lead the two of you outdoors.
“Sure, Meg. If it’s fine with them, it’s fine with me.”
* * *
Your body aches, your joints cracking with each move. You’ve barely even begun the training, merely the warmups Hunter has put you through in this scorching heat has gotten you coated in your own layer of sweat. He moved through each warm up with ease, and finished his last stretch lazily, leaning his weight on his back leg and placing his hands firmly on his hips. It took nearly everything in you not to stare at him, his shirt back on but replaced by a mockingly thin white tank top that grew less opaque with every passing moment.
“Thought you said you wanted to learn?” His voice brought you back out of your daydream, reminding you exactly why you were standing here. You had gone this long without him really knowing your feelings, aside from the simple flirtation the two of you shared to pass the time. One afternoon wouldn’t kill you.
“Thought you said we’d start slow,” you grumble in reply, moving to face him with an agitated determination.
He doesn’t give you a verbal response, merely moving to stand behind you, placing his hands and your shoulders before reaching them across to grab your wrists. “I’m gonna put you in the first stance,” he says, moving his hands, and your wrists, up to a blocking motion before kicking one of his feet between your legs. With gentle, albeit rough, taps to each foot, your legs slowly shuffled wider apart, granting you more stability on the sandy terrain. The motion of him slowly spreading your legs open, however, had the complete opposite effect, and your stomach dropped nearly to your toes as your chest flutters with warmth. This was exactly why you hadn’t asked for help in the first place.
“Looks good,” he started, moving back to face you. “Now, when you punch, you’re not just pushing your fist out, right? You’re punching with your whole arm, try hitting my hand.”
“But, I don’t want to hurt you!” You sputtered, and his lazy, easy smile returned.
“Trust me, you won’t.”
You pass nearly an hour like this, moving to punch Hunter with as much force as you could muster, and him blocking you with ease. It’s not that you were weak by any means, you wouldn’t have lasted as the Batch’s medic if you were, but this kind of strength was foreign to you. You were slipping, growing more tired by the moment. Your punches slowly falter. Finally, as the heat and the exertion caught up to you, your legs followed the swing of your arm, sending you toppling your whole weight onto Hunter.
He too must’ve begun feeling the heat, as his normally subvert reflexes failed him. Your weight and his surprise sent the two of you toppling onto the sand, his arms reaching to cup your elbows, carefully guiding you to land on his chest. The sweat on both of your skin made the two of you sticky, and your thin shirt did little to hide the flush of your chest as you pressed against his toned body. Hunter also seemed to be responding to the moment, his eyes opening and closing rapidly, his chest rising and falling with increasing speed.
Maker. You hadn’t thought about how awful you must’ve smelled.
“I’m sorry Hunter, I’m sure I smell-“
“Great,” he gritted out, you assumed his tone was dripping in sarcasm. Your wince must not have garnered the response he was hoping for, and his eyes widened in panic. “No, no, I mean it. Kriff, that’s not what I meant.”
“No, it’s fine, it’s warm out here, don’t mention it,” you shook awkwardly, moving to push off of him. Instead, Hunter’s grip on the backs of your arms tightened to hold you in place.
“I mean it,” he murmurs, “you’ve been driving me crazy all day.”
You blink in surprise as that warm feeling from before returns, and you resist the urge to press yourself against him even further.
“What, just because I’m a slow learner?” you blush and shake your head, trying to hide your face from the intensity of his stare, and the overbearing Jakku sun.
“Why do you always do that?”
“Do what?”
“That,” he removes one hand from its spot on your arm to tug your chin back at him, his eyes falling to your lips for the briefest moment before coming back to yours, “hide from me.”
Your response is quiet, timid. “Because you don’t mean it.”
“Why would you think that? We’ve kind of been toeing around it for weeks now.”
You’re sputtering now, “I thought you were joking.”
“I don’t joke when it comes to you,” something akin to hurt flashes across his eyes, and his grip on your arms loosens slightly. Kriff. You’re losing him now, and the panic that settles in your chest takes over before your brain can properly think its way out of it.
You’re fully pressing your breasts against him now, relenting the rest of your weight onto him as your arms snake their way to his face and you pull him towards you before he has a chance to feel any more hurt at your expense. Your lips crash to his in a kiss that’s equal parts full of reassurance and want, and he molds against you quickly. Whatever doubt and hurt he might’ve felt a moment ago is replaced by something darker, something needier.
Hunter adjusts you on top of him easily, pulling you up and wrapping your legs around his waist. When you pull away from the kiss you watch as he brings your legs tighter around his waist and, with little struggle, manages to stand up against the sand, never dropping you from your perch.
You try not to go faint at the way his leg muscles tense beneath the rolled up cuffs of his pants as he lifts the two of you from the ground with ease. Hunter has always been scrappy, never as much bulk as Wrecker but easily the second largest of his brothers. Echo used to joke that what he lacked in height he made up for in muscle mass.
You can’t stop yourself from leaning in to him, placing needy open mouth kisses along the curve of his neck, the sharp edges of his jaw. He groaned at your touch, his steps quickening towards the Marauder. There’s a break as he fidgets with the controls to lower the ramp and it starts its painstakingly slow descent. In a fit of impatience, Hunter has your back pressed against the side of the ship and moves to kiss you again, this time it’s bruising and impatient. He’s been wanting this just as long as you, you realize. Whatever the door the two of you just opened isn’t going to be easily shut.
He’s methodical with the way he kisses you, but his hands are anything but. He pulls teasing tugs at your lower lip, slowly parts your mouth with his tongue–like he’s testing something.
“Hunter,” you beg, turning your head from him in a feeble gesture to get him to notice that the ramp has lowered.
“I’ve just wanted to kiss you for so long,” he admits, a tenderness in his eyes that your stomach doing backflips, “I don’t think I can ever stop.”
He walks to the two of you up the ramp of the ship before setting you down gently in the hull. You’re staring up at him now, his hands resting on the small of your back, keeping you close.
“You tell me what’s too much cyar’ika. I’ll take whatever part of you you’ll give me.”
“All, all of me. I’m not afraid.” You murmur, pressing yourself against him before leaning to loop your arms around his neck.
He meets you halfway to kiss you, albeit gentler than before, before turning you and moving you backwards with small steps. You know this ship like the back of your hand, even backwards and with your eyes closed, and you can tell from the way he’s moving you that you’re moving towards his quarters.
“We can go to my room?” You ask, breathless. They had graciously turned the small medbay into a space for your quarters, of sorts. You had a larger bed than any member of the batch, with the caveat that your roommates were small surgical machines and overflow boxes of bacta.
“No, want you in my bed, if that’s ok?”
You nodded while he continued to guide you towards the rest of the batch’s quarters, your vision becoming shaded from the darkness of the room. You were grateful now that Hunter’s bunk was on the bottom, as the backs of your legs bumped into the mattress.
He laid you down on the mattress and quickly stretched across you, giving you full freedom to remove your arms from his neck and let them roam against the broad expanse of his back. His kisses met your neck almost as soon as he settled on the mattress, and from the way his teeth nipped at the soft skin, you knew you’d be littered with marks.
Whatever. You’re sure they’d pick up on it eventually.
Your thoughts were interrupted as Hunter pulled you up towards him, using the space to pull your shirt off and discard it on the floor, leaving you in the thin cottony breastband you’d picked specifically because it was too hot to even think about something better. You, in turn, pulled at the hem of the thin white tank top, and he smirked at you as he moved back, pulling it up over his head. There was enough space between the bunks for him to sit comfortably upright, and you moved forward to meet him, bringing his hands to your waist.
“It’s too hot for all these layers.”
If he was surprised he barely showed it, raising an eyebrow before moving to unfasten your breastband, leaving the two of you bare from the waist up.
“Mesh’la, I can’t… I can’t stop.”
“Then don’t.” You smiled, leaning back on his mattress, watching his form cage you in.
His response was immediate, falling closer to you and moving his kisses farther down your neck before moving to bring his mouth to your breast, now bare to him. His lips dragged over your newly exposed flesh, before his tongue flattened over the stiff peak of your nipple.
He wasted no time in palming your other breast, and the briefest glance you got of your skin beneath his inked fingers was enough to elicit the smallest of whimpers from your mouth. He paused from his work on your nipple to glance up at you, before sending a devilish grin as his hand removed itself from your chest and made small movements towards your thighs. With a quick and decisive movement he placed his hand just on the squishy flesh of your inner thigh, before hooking a finger around the seam of your panties and shifting them down.
You jostled a bit to help them come off and Hunter surged to kiss you again, his breath warm and inviting on your mouth. In an instant you let out a soft gasp as his fingers began to move towards your folds, before he slowly pushed two fingers into your heat.
The feeling of being filled in any capacity by him immediately sent warmth flooding to every corner of your body, and you bucked your hips against him as he moved his fingers in a delicious hooking motion, pulling you closer and closer to oblivion with each movement.
“So warm for me, so wet.” He grumbled against your neck, and your hands threaded through his hair, desperate to keep his body against yours.
“Hunter, need you, now.”
“Shh,” he murmured, moving faster, and a twisting in your feeling in your gut suddenly struck, along with the realization that you were quickly approaching an orgasm. “Come for me first, princess. Need to make you feel good first.”
His words and motions combined sent that first orgasm crashing over you fast, the tips of your fingers and the lower half of your body shaking in pleasure while he took his sweet time, coaxing every bit of your oblivion out of you in slow, melodic motions. When you had come back down to earth, he pulled his hand from you before bringing it to his mouth, bringing his fingers to his mouth and tasting you finally.
“Next time you’re finishing on my tongue,” he groaned, head thrown back. You took his momentary distraction to pull at the band of his boxers, already eyeing the deliciously thick silhouette of his hard length pressing against the fabric.
“Hunterrr,” you whined, leaning up and pressing kisses from his collarbone down his chest, before deciding you couldn’t take it anymore and plunging your hand into his boxers, running your hand up and down the velvety skin of his shaft. You paused at the tip, running your fingers over it and collecting the precum already leaking out.
“Need to learn some patience,” he groaned, before shifting to pull the last offending article of clothing off, and pressing you firmly, and softly to the mattress. With his boxers gone you could see him now. He was big, bigger than any man you’d been with before, and prettier too. The inky black markings of his tattoos led down his whole torso, pausing just at the start of his shaft. It was one of the few spots on his body where you could admire every inch of tanned, warm skin.
Hunter moved down to kiss you, this one sweet and short, running a hand down your core to collect some of the mess he’d already made of you, before running it along his length. He leaned back and looked at you, his eyes warming with a fondness that suddenly had you feeling more naked now than you had this entire time.
“You take my breath away,” he murmured in a voice dripping with an emotion you weren’t bold enough to try and name, before picking up one of your legs and easily tossing it over your shoulder. “You’ve been my dream this whole time. Wanna make sure you’re ready.”
“Hunter,” you paused, reaching a hand up to his cheek, “if you don’t fuck me now, I’m going to go catatonic.”
His laugh had your leg shaking, and he rolled his eyes, “remind me to fuck some manners into you next time.”
Without any more pretense you felt his tip surge past your walls, stretching you out deliciously and giving a sense of satisfaction greater than anything you’d felt before. He pushed farther before bottoming out and nudging just right against that spot you’d always struggled to reach. The same one that had you tossing one arm over your eyes and another grasping at nothing out of pure bliss. His name breathed past your lips like a prayer, and you felt him shiver a bit at it.
“Fuck, that’s my girl.” He moaned, starting his thrusts at a slow, manageable pace. You felt one of his hands slide up the sheets on his mattress before sliding and weaving his fingers between yours. “Don’t hide from me.” He whispered, and you brought your arm down, placing it firmly on the bicep he was using to support himself against you.
He felt fucking amazing. You had met a guy in an alley on Coruscant who tried to sell you deathsticks once, and you felt like you had to go back and tell him he was wrong. There had to be a better high. Being fucked into your pillows by Hunter while he held your hand and whispered to you had to be better. You weren’t a scientist (ok, maybe you were) but this had to be the best feeling a human being could feel.
Hunter’s pace quickened, and soon the cabin was filled with the sickeningly sweet sound of skin slapping against skin, his hips snapping against you. His senses must’ve made him perfectly attuned to how you were feeling, any shift in pleasure, any barely audible moan. His hand had removed itself from yours, instead holding your wrist and pressing you firmly into the bed in a move that felt more possessive and dominant than threatening.
“You’re mine.” You had moaned without realizing it, and his pace picked up again. A twisting, numbing feeling began to blossom in your core and Hunter brought your leg down, surging forward to kiss you as he fucked you farther into oblivion.
“You’re my girl, you’ve always been my girl.” He groaned into your neck before pulling back. “Just been waiting for you to realize it. I wanna hear you say it.”
“You’re mine, I’m yours.” You groaned, his hips bucking up and nudging again and again into that spot. His hand removed itself from your wrist and you used the newfound freedom to rake your hands down your back, sending moans of pleasure out of Hunter.
“I’m all yours princess,” he groaned, “so sweet, so soft for me. Fuck, so tight.”
His praise and words and breakneck speed had you hitting your orgasm like a brick wall, turning you from head to toe in a shivering, gasping mess as your walls clenched around him. You gripped his hair in a desperate attempt to tether yourself to something corporeal as he fucked you through it, his own pace becoming quick and sloppy.
“‘M close, where,” was all he was able to rasp out.
“In, ‘s okay.” Was the closest thing you had to a response. You’d tell him about your implant later.
In an instant, he was groaning into your neck, his hips slapping against yours sending you nearly into sensory overload, before you felt his warmth against you. For a moment after he barely moved, just breathed against you as if he couldn’t imagine this had actually happened. The two of you stayed like that for a moment, you running a hand along his back and through his hair as he pressed sweet kisses along your neck, likely trying to soften the purple marks you were certain he had left.
“Lemme get you cleaned up,” he whispered, as if careful not to scare the moment away. He pulled back from you slowly, before reaching to tug his pants back on and heading to the fresher. He was only gone for a few moments, returning with a warm, wet rag that he lovingly dashed between your legs and a pair of clean shorts from your quarters and one of his shirts.
“Thought you might want something comfortable.” He said as he passed it to you, and you quickly changed into it, relishing into how the shirt smelled so distinctly of him.
You moved to sit up but he toppled in bed next to you before you could. His bunk was small, barely enough space for the two of you, so he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you into his chest.
“Don’t go. Meant what I said.”
You blushed as you shimmied to turn your face to him. “Which part?”
“All of it. I’ve always wanted you. Not just for, you know,” he stumbled, seeming suddenly embarrassed.
“Sex?”
“Yeah, but I’m not gonna complain about that part,” he winked, before pulling you into him again, resting his head on top of yours. “I want to… care for you. In every way. You really take my breath away, always have.” He pressed a kiss against your hair, and you pressed closer to him in return.
“Then you’ll have me. For as long as I’m here and then some.”
The two of you stayed like this into the night, wrapped up in each other’s arms, tangled limb to limb. Soon enough the lull of his heart had drifted you into sleep, and he did his best to shield you from the prying eyes and loud noises of the rest of the Batchers as they returned from the market, just as he swore to himself that he’d shield you from anything that threatened to take you from them, from him.
His girl he had said. And he had meant it.

Revenge Best Served Wet
Summary: It should be known, that an angry Omega is a scary Omega
AO3
Rating: Gen
Word Count: 719
“Whatcha doin’ there Meg?” Hunter asked as he crossed his arms and watched his twelve and a half year old sister fill up what seemed to be a water gun from the kitchen sink. That wasn’t really a strange sight seeing as Fives got her those last month when he, Echo, and Rex visited. She and Fives spent almost all weekend playing with the new toys and no one was safe from the chaos that was unleashed.
The truly strange sight was her dressed in a gray tank top with camo pants and one his bandanas wrapped around her forehead. Her face seemed to be smeared with mud and dirt, four lines across her face as if she did it with her own fingers. Thankfully that was the only place he saw any, with the rest of her being mostly clean. In addition to the gun in her hand, she had another one strapped to her back
“I’m preparing to hunt down Crosshair,” Omega answered casually, as if you asked her what time it was.
It had been six months since Crosshair left the Empire and rejoined his family in their relatively new home. It had been a rocky start for all of them, especially Hunter and Crosshair, but like always they learned and adapted. More often than not, it felt like Cross never left. Omega definitely loved having another brother to do stuff with.
“Uh huh.” Hunter leaned against the counter as he watched her fill up two refillable bottles that could be exchanged when her water gun ran out. Fives picked out a nice set.
“Do I want to know what he did to incur your wrath?”
She leveled him with a glare that made the hairs stand on the back of his neck.
“He ate my leftovers.” With that, she ran out the backdoor to do Maker knows what. Hunter decided it would be best if he stayed out of this fight.
An hour or so later, he heard the tell-tell sign of Crosshair’s car coming into the driveway. Hunter was slightly surprised to hear his brother open the door and watch him walk into the living room completely dry. Hunter would have figured Omega would have attacked as soon as Cross got home, which made him only more terrified of what she had planned. Echo and Tech were horrible influences.
“Why are you so surprised to see me?” Crosshair asked, pulling Hunter away from the horrors.
“No reason,” he dodged, “On an unrelated note, did you eat Omega’s leftovers?”
“Depends. Were they in a to-go box?” Hunter nodded. “Then yeah. Took it with me for lunch. How’d you know?”
“I didn’t. Omega did and she’s out for revenge.”
Crosshair scoffed. Oh boy.
“What’s the worst she could do? Give me the silent treatment?”
“I promise you, it’s not what you think.”
Crosshair looked warilly at Hunter before he headed upstairs to his bedroom. Hunter was just about to settle back into watching whatever show was on when a yowl made him jump. It came from Crosshair’s room. Terrified, Hunter ran as fast as he could, only to find Crosshair tensed up at his bedroom door, a wet spot directly in the middle of his shirt. When Hunter peeked inside his brother’s room, he found none other than his sister stradling the open window, water gun aimed toward Crosshair. Her mouth was set into a viscous smirk at successfully catching her brother off guard. What truly concerned Hunter though, was that she was on the window when he never heard her come back in.
“Omega!” he exclaimed, “How did you get there?!”
“I climbed the lattice to the roof,” she shrugged. The window would already be unlocked because Crosshair liked to sometimes sit on the roof of the back porch, so it really did make the best way to sneak up on him.
“You’ll pay for that,” Crosshair spat.
“I look forward to it,” Omega grinned, “You’ll find your weapon on your bed. See you in the backyard in five.”
With that, she climbed off the wind and ran back over to the lattice. Crosshair snatched the water gun and followed her out the window. Hunter watched for a moment before shutting the window, silently telling himself to warn Tech and Wrecker away from the backyard.
Hope y'all enjoyed reading that as much as I enjoyed writing it!!! Super excited for this summer!!!

Hi Sky!!!!! I saw your message!!! I'd love to help you out! How about a little Hunter and female reader drabble ;) Perhaps with the prompt 'nightmares'.
Hullo love! I seem to be in a Hunter streak lately, so we'll finish with this little drabble before switching to some other sexy clone.
Hope you like it, xx.
Sky.
"NIGHTMARES" –HUNTER/F READER
WARNINGS: MELANCHOLY, LOST OF A FAMILY MEMBER, FEELINGS, COMFORTING FLUFF. 📩💔💖
Hunter's six sense, as Omega often called it, woke him up in the middle of the night. He yawned in silence, blinking slowly; wondering at first what could have have happened to interrupt his slumber. He proped himself on his elbows and scanned the rest of the bunk room with his eyes; quickly noticing your bunk empty, bedsheets ruffled up as if you had left the room in a hassle, perhaps needing some air outside of the very manly smelling bedroom.
Hunter hummed distractedly and decided to go find your whereabouts; directing his sleepy, naked feet through the corridor towards the cockpit. He knew you came here to sit down and lose yourself to your thoughts and the stars when your mind felt too active; to try to center yourself and process your feelings and thoughts. To compartimentalise.
He came to a stop as soon as he saw you; observing you in the quiet of the night. You were, in fact, cuddled up in Tech's pilot chair; chin resting on top of your knees and eyes far away from the present reality of the Marauder. Hunter knew you were far, far away.
He resumed his steps and padded over to you; his voice finally annoucing his presence, voice raspy and deep with sleep.
"What are you thinking of this time, cyare?" he asked you, coming to a stop a meter away from you.
You turned towards him; eyes quickly scanning his comfortable thin pijamas –a set of deep blue shirt and low waist pants– and the sleepyness of his face. The lack of his red bandana was noticable –his hair falling freely and slightly tangled towards his shoulders–; giving his overall appearance a soft, safe look.
You pull up a small smile on your face, barely a tug of your lips; lingering sadness hiding from him.
"Do I have to be thinking on something specific?"
Hunter stays in silence, and then slowly makes himself a spot on the co-pilot chair next to you. His eyes are gentle and patient. Ah, there's no hiding away from Hunter.
You smile while redirecting your face towards the stars you can see through the Marauders front window and stay quiet for quite the time. Hunter doesn't say a word; nor interrupts.
"I was thinking of my sibling" you finally say, and you know he's paying attention without having to look back at him.
"Nightmares?" Is his only cautious word.
You shrug your shoulders and hum distractedly, eyes still lost on the stars in front of you.
"Yes, at first. It's what woke me up, and why I came here" you pause and quietly hum again. "It's not what I was thinking when you got here, though".
"What was that?"
You smile to the stars.
"I was imagining a conversation in my mind. Of what I think he'd have said of my intervention on our last mission, if he had saw that" You chuckle, finally turning to look back towards him.
Hunters lips turn up into a tiny nostalgic smile.
"Do you often do that? Speak with him like that, in your imagination?"
It's a private question; but you have full trust on Hunter. He's always been special to you.
"Sometimes" you confirm. "I know it might be weird, but it helps me feel him closer. Or even process his death better, even if it might look like the opposite".
Hunter gently places his hand on your shoulder. It's warm. It's him.
"I think it's sweet" he answers. "And if it makes you feel better, I see no problem with it".
You smile at him again. It's a bit less melancholic now, more sincere. More happy, eyes slightly sparkling in the darkness. More alive. Present.
"Thank you, Hunter".
He nods and slowly stands back up. He offers you a hand.
"Come on, cyare. Let's get some sleep back".
You glance one last time at the stars, breathe in and smile. You stand up, and slide your hand against his, letting him gently tug you towards the bunk room again.
He's the first to lay down in bed; helping you find a comfortable spot besides him afterwards. You both hug each other softly in bed, relishing in the safety of each others warm embrace.
Kind, polite, reserved, firm Hunter is always that for you; safe.
THE END.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Tara! Really short but I feel it's quite intense at the same time. A bittersweet feeling. Heavy feels but warmth and understanding, and support.
Again, hope you've liked it!

Whumptober day thirteen
Whumptober 2024 - day 13 - Prompt: “death will do us part”
(when i wrote the climax my heart was pounding SO BADLY)
Omega was at the rebel base when she got the call
“Hunter doesn't have long, he wants to see you”
And in 10 minutes, she was packed and in her ship on the way to Pabu, as she stared into the blue swirls of hyperspace, she thought of the first time she had even seen the beautiful mix of blue and white, it was the same time she realized she finally had a true family.
She sighed Hunter.
She knew that it would happen sooner or later, she just hoped that maybe, they would have more time.
As Omega landed she practically barreled into the waiting arms of Echo nearby
“How long” she hesitated “does he have?
Echo sighed, leading her to their house
“Not long”
Omega quickly embraced Crosshair and Wrecker in the Living room and Echo led her to Hunter’s room.
“Hunter” she whispered, too shocked to speak, here he was, the man who was her pillar, who was strong for her whole life, now bedridden and weak.
“Omega” he whispered to her after Echo left “It’s been a while” he weakly chuckled, she hurriedly sat down on a small stool next to the bed.
“Hunter I’m-” she choked back a sob “I’m sorry i haven't been around I should not have left!”
Omega suddenly burst into tears and put her head on the side of the bed, sobbing into her hands.
Hunter sighed, stroking her head gently
“Omega, how many lives have you saved after joining the rebellion? How many little kids who were just like you? As much as I resented it at the time. You made the right choice” He whispered to her.
“I just thought that I would have more time, that we would have more time together. I’m… Sorry i was gone” She put his hand in hers and rested her chin on them
“But you’re happy about the time we did have together?” he whispered, barely audible
“Of course!” Omega cried, gently squeezing his hand to her chest.
he put something into her hand, she looked down at it and silently gasped. It was the pendant she wore on her forehead as a child.
“You saved it?” She choked, it was cracked in the center, probably from all of the battles they went through in the ship and there are chips in the edges but it looks perfect.
“Thank you Hunter” Omega softly whispered, wiping away a tear “You’ve given me the best life I could ever ask for, you were-” she swallowed a sob
“You were more than a brother to me, you were my Father”
Hunter smiled and kissed her forehead, laying back down, he sighed
“Then I can rest” he closed his eyes and let out a tired breath,
“Hunter?” she fearfully asked, when she didn't get an answer, she cried out for AZI, as the medical droid and her brothers rushed into the room, she stumbled back, she already knew.
Omega was a medical assistant, Nala Se made sure that she could tell when someone passed, but still, as AZI proclaimed the death, she choked on her breath and ran out of the room, collapsing to her knees outside, hyperventilating.
Hunter, the man she looked up to her whole life, the man she came to after a bad night, the man who put his life on the line for her, was gone.
She sobbed, hugging herself, Crosshair and Batcher numbly walked outside and sat down on the bench Wrecker helped Omega make for their new house when she was little, she thought about how proud Hunter was when he saw it.
Overcome with emotion, she hugged herself and let out an agonizing scream.
She barely registered the next few hours, she heard people visiting, Lyana whispering in her ear, Hera coming from the rebellion to comfort her, Wrecker laying her down in her old bed from before she left, waking up in the middle of the night crying, Crosshair hugging her to his chest, whispering consoling words to her.
The next week passed in a blur, then, one day, she numbly walked to the same cave she said goodbye to Hunter before leaving, she sighed and looked at a long strip of red cloth that lie in her hand, his bandana, she clutched it near her chest, a single tear slipped down her face as she sneakily ran to her ship.
Omega set it down next to Tech’s goggles, as she plugged in the coordinates to a desolate planet, a planet where she knew there would be people who could help her, she’s had a hunch for a while, feeling stronger when around general skywalker, knowing things before they happened, and she wondered, if she had gotten training, could she have stopped this from happening?
She wiped her palms on her pants as she commed someone her brothers made her promise she would never call, no matter how much she needed her.
As she stared into the eyes of someone she once considered a friend, she snarled at the trandoshan as she grumpily asked
“Why are you calling me, Tiny?”

bad batch finale thoughts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
first of all damn. like damn. they really did it. those crazy sons of bitches did it. they ended this beloved show in a way that was cathartic, happy, full of tension, and did all the characters justice. my faith in star wars has been restored. i am so happy
—— the tension was unmatched this whole episode. like narratively, killing off tech told us as the audience that no one is safe, there’s no plot armor. so the whole time i was like omg they’re all gonna die but they dIDNT BECAUSE THEYRE THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS AND BECAUSE THEY HAVE LOYALTY AND LOVE FOR EACH OTHER AND THATS WHAT THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT. LOYALTY AND LOVE. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
—— CROSSHAIRS HAND IM SOBBING there is something so heart wrenching but amazing about his 'shooting hand' being taken away from him. it's like the physical embodiment of why he was created but now that he's free of that embodiment, he can choose to be whatever he wants. such a good choice narratively imo
—— that elite task force was badass i'm obsessed with their designs and their fighting styles i kinda wish we got more of them but they were also terrifying
—— crosshair finally made the shot that mattered the MOST. i love him so much. like he seriously means so much to me idec
—— still bummed that tech is actually dead (no he’s not haha loser i’m happy in my delusions). while i do think it’s technically more realistic for clone soldiers bred to die and raised with the expectation that they’ll be killed in battle to lack emotion, i think the lack of emotion this season was to its detriment. however i will say that the “clone force 99 died with tech” line was so good it pretty much made up for it lol
—— THE ENDING WAAA A A AAA A. A A A A. A AAA. A A A A A. A A AAA AAA AAA AAAA A A AAAAAA A A. omega and hera best friends confirmed. they were rebellion pilots together. omega is in the rebellion. like that is just the perfect ending to her character i can’t even. because of course she would. and i love her. i’m so proud of her. she is the heart and soul of this show and anyone who hated her is prolly feelin realllll silly right now
—— damn we’re really just not gonna know who the cx 2 operative was huh. like. he really was just a guy
—— that last shot of tech’s glasses almost got me i fr almost cried. he would be so so so proud of omega. he would be proud of all of them
—— omegas and hunters older designs mean everything to me. just. storytelling through clothes will never not be my favorite thing. her little skull patch 😭🫠 the bandana 🫠🥲
this show means so much to me, truly. it has inspired me artistically, comforted me, and connected me to some amazing people. i don’t even feel stupid for writing all these thoughts about a ‘silly little star wars show’ because damn it this is what art and stories means to people!! this is how powerful they can be! i do not need to hide behind jokes and irony to communicate how much this artistic work means to me!
<3
#big huge rambly post but thank you for reading lol#so happy with that ending#so happy my doubts were proven wrong#the bad batch#star wars#tbb#the bad batch season 3#tbb spoilers#tbb hunter#tbb wrecker#tbb echo#tbb crosshair#good art is so important#thank you star wars for actually letting them be happy#thanks bad batch. i’ll love you forever

Don't Have To (Hunter x F!Reader)
Word Count: 1056
Warnings: nsfw, minors DNI, blowjob while mostly clothed, fingering while partially clothed, softness, aftercare
A/N: Established relationship. Hunter is tired and stressed and gets a goodnight blowie. Of course he wants to reciprocate in some way.
Dusk brought an end to a long day. Hunter watched the sunset next to you and he smiled to himself at the sound of Omega joking with Wrecker. You reached for his hand and he looked down to your fingers intertwining with his. You felt warm and familiar. Without thinking about it, he stood and pulled you up with him, kissing the back of your hand and pulling you into an embrace.
"Come home with me," you said. He looked away, almost shy, and then nodded.
Getting to know Hunter had been a process. You both fell for each other without knowing what to say about it or how to approach it. A quiet conversation over caf revealed your shared affection and since then you'd both taken your time walking through the relationship together. It had been enjoyable and comforting.
You entered your home and walked him straight to bed. You sat on the edge together. He was exhausted and still processing all that happened with his family. It took time and some days were better than others. Getting used to safety and having time to think through it all was harder than some might think.
You cupped his cheek and kissed his perfect lips. The soft lights in the room highlighted his handsome face and you felt your heart surge at the mere thought he was all yours. He seemed so stressed and all you wanted to do was help him. With a playful grin and a lick of your lips, you kneeled in front of him and put your hands on the waist of his trousers.
"Cyar’ika," he said, "you don't have to."
You smiled. He already sensed how your heart was beating faster at the thought of sucking him off.
"I want to," you replied. "Do you not want me to?"
"Well..." He ran his hand through his hair and took his bandana off. "I wouldn't say no."
"Then let me take care of you."
You unzipped his pants and and pulled them open just enough that you had access to him. He was only just starting to get hard, but that soon changed as your hands rubbed up his thighs and rested on his hips. Your hot breath teased his velvet skin and he closed his eyes, taking in more of the sensation. His cock grew, reaching out for your fingers and you smiled up at him as you started to slowly pump him. He groaned as you took him in your mouth. You simply held him against your tongue and cheeks, sucking on him slowly. He groaned again as you took more of him, your lips pursing around him. You weren't in a rush and did everything you could to draw out the experience. You timed your breathing with the in and out motion along his length. One of your hands cupped his balls and you gently played with them as you continued to lazily take his cock in and out of your mouth. There was no speeding up, just the delicious feeling of you together and all the time in the galaxy.
Hunter's head fell back and from this position you knew he was close. You decided to just suck on the head and work him with your hands for a change of sensation, still keeping the same rhythm. Taking him out of your mouth, you got both hands working his length in concert just the way he liked while you kissed the spot where his leg and groin met. His moan was nearly a whimper when he came on your hands. Hunter smiled down at you and ran his hand through your hair. You reached for a cloth you kept in the nightstand and cleaned up his spend. Hunter took off his outer layers of clothing, now content to lay in bed with you in his underwear. You kept your panties on and got into your night shirt. He watched you, finding comfort in the familiarity of your form. You laid next to him. He kissed you, tongue tracing your lips and meeting your own. His hand made its way to your hip as you both pulled away from the kiss.
"Let me return the favor," he said quietly.
"I wouldn't say no," you replied with a smile. "But I want you to hold me."
"I've got you."
He kissed your forehead before sitting up. He crossed his legs and pulled you on to his lap, holding you close with one arm and kissing your neck. You pulled your panties down and his hand immediately found its way to your wet folds. He grinned at the thought that taking him in your mouth turned you on so much. He didn't bother asking to take your shirt off and found the sight of your puckered nipples under the thin fabric alluring. His fingers deftly massaged your entrance before two entered, curling as he started to finger fuck you. His thumb landed on your clit, circling in time with the movement of his fingers. You were already panting his name. He left firm kisses on your cheek and kept his movements slow and steady as you had before with him. Your hearts raced and yet felt completely peaceful. Your legs instinctively spread a little further, only held together by your straining panties. Hunter adjusted your position in his lap so your back was to his chest. He wrapped his arms around you and started using both hands, tracing patterns with your clit with one hand as his fingers continued to dive into your warmth. Your head fell back on his shoulder and he kissed any bit of skin he could. He closed his eyes and inhaled your scent as you came on his hands. He helped your ride out your orgasm, his movements remaining steady until you came down from your high. You turned your head enough to kiss his tattooed jaw. He removed his hands and used the cloth to clean up. You pulled your underwear back up, but remained resting against his chest. He kissed your shoulders. A new, satisfied tired swept over both of you. He gave you a little squeeze before you both laid down side by side. The rest of the night was only filled with loving murmurs and sweet kisses until you both fell asleep.

Maycrowzer Headcanons (SFW)
I'll get back to writing prompts eventually. Been a little under the weather lately with an injury that isn't healing, so I made a self-indulgent list of headcanons for my favorite Bad Batch OT3.
TW: Mentions of PTSD, alcohol abuse, anger issues, body dysmorphia, and eating disorders.
Howzer is jealous of Mayday when they first find and rescue him from Tantiss. He’ll never forget the way Crosshair forgot himself and ran into Mayday’s arms amongst the bodies littering the floor of the base. The only greeting he got was an anxious sneer when Crosshair showed up on Teth.
The threesome was Mayday’s idea. He pitches it to Howzer so casually that Howzer thinks he’s joking at first, but when he sees that Mayday is serious, he figures he has nothing left to lose.
None of them expected the outcome, especially Crosshair. No way was his luck so high that he had reconciled and found love with Howzer AND was able to rescue Mayday and be with him, too.
Moving to Pabu just seemed right. Mayday wasn’t willing t fight anymore, and he was determined to keep Crosshair safe. Howzer took some convincing, but ultimately, being where they were was what he wanted.
They build their house close to the beach. It didn’t matter much to Crosshair where they ended up as long as they were together and his brothers and sister were nearby.
Howzer, having initially been trained to be a marine soldier, loves being near the open water.
Mayday, having spent much of the last couple of years in a cold, frozen planet, like having the warmth of the sun and colors of the sunset filtering through their bedroom window.
He also has a garden in the backyard that he tends to daily. His garden becomes the island’s best source of medicinal herbs and vegetables for harvesting and Mayday is very proud of it.
Also, this man is so into Dad Rock. Sometimes he can get Crosshair to loosen up and rock out with him in the living room, but other times Crosshair comes in from shopping to see Mayday and Omega with Hunter’s old bandana wrapped around her head playing a mean air guitar.
Howzer picks up a job as security detail for the island. It makes him feel like he’s still contributing to the rebellion by keeping his loved ones and Pabu safe from the Empire. He’d heard about Tech’s brainwashing and what he did to Pabu while he was under the Empire’s control, and he vows to never let anything like that happen again.
Crosshair spreads out his time doing odd jobs for the people on the island and picks up a whittling hobby. He’ll sit on the beach with his toes in the water and a knife watching the sun move across the sky and make little trinkets out of wood. He’s rather good at it, and most residents of the island have one of his masterpieces in their houses.
But not everything is perfect in paradise.
They all have nightmares. Some of them are easier to get through than others. Sometimes, they’re bad enough that someone needs to be restrained.
The first time it happens, Crosshair clocks Howzer in the face because he thinks Howzer is a Shadow Clone that’s come for him and his family. Howzer understands, but Crosshair apologizes for weeks after the incident.
Mayday develops a drinking problem, which is to say, he gets violent and angry when he’s had too much to drink and has a habit of taking it out on Crosshair and Howzer. Howzer can handle it, but if Mayday starts in on Crosshair, Howzer makes Crosshair leave to stay with one of his brothers until Mayday calms down and sobers up.
It doesn’t happen often. Many times Mayday can have several drinks and be fine and happy or maybe even horny, but when it does happen, Howzer knows they’re in for a long night.
After two years of living the island life together, they make their relationship a marriage. They don’t wear rings. Rings can get lost or ruined or given back. Instead, they get matching tattoos of three planets, one for how they each met one another: Ryloth, Barton IV, and Coruscant. (Technically, Howzer met Mayday on Tantiss, but they collectively agreed that planet has no place in their lives or on their bodies anymore). The three planets all surround one in the center, Pabu.
Mayday has his on his chest, right over his heart, because he’s a romantic sap.
Crosshair has it on his left hip.
Howzer has his on his right calf.
When they’re a little older and the lush, island lifestyle begins to catch up with them, Howzer develops an eating disorder. His physical appearance is important to him, and he’s worked incredibly hard to maintain his physique and proportions, but age can’t help but make him softer around the edges, and he hates it.
He wakes up one morning after a few months of eating only what he needs to and working out endlessly to see himself in the mirror. He’s pleased with what he sees, unable to tell that he isn’t healthy. He’s too thin and looks frail, but he’s finally happy with what he sees in the mirror.
Mayday looks at him that morning, REALLY looks, and he sees what Howzer can’t, but Howzer is smiling in a way that he hasn’t in a short while, and he’s so proud of himself. It breaks Mayday’s heart.
(An intervention occurs, and Mayday and Crosshair do their best to keep reassuring Howzer that he’s not less for enjoying the life that he worked for).
They have family dinners once a week, usually at Hunter and Tech’s place, but sometimes at Wrecker and Shep’s house. Omega and Lyana love to cook for them (with help from Shep and Wrecker, who takes interest in it when he learns just how much you can do with food).
One of Crosshair’s favorite photos is one that Tech sneakily took during one of the festivals on the island of Howzer dancing with Omega and spinning her around. He gives a copy of the photo to her when she confides in them that she’s joining Hera’s fleet in the resistance.
